90s Save File - Oasis Springs Lore/Households

Oasis Springs is a small, sun-drenched town. The scorching heat of the day forces residents to hide in the roadside bars or hang by the pools, sipping cold drinks and spending time with friends. However, when the sun sets, things take on a darker tone. The streets fill with personalities you'd rather keep your distance from. Same places now buzz with tension as those with dark pasts and uncertain futures cross paths with those who prey on desperation. Life here is raw and real: social inequality, organized crime and corruption among the elites are issues this place has struggled with for years. Think twice before it's secrets consume you as well.

As promised - big update!! I think it's time to finally show some households (and post more frequent updates 🥲). Willow Creek was supposed to be first, but I want to add more families before I share them, so here we go lol. This is the overall lore for this world - there's so much more to that, but details will be revealed in family bio's and then each sim's backstory. I tried to put households that have the most connections on the same page, but they are all connected to each other in some way (and to sims from different worlds). I will use this post as navigation and add links when I put them together, so you can check out and download those households more easily.

There are 33 sims in total and almost all of them are available to get individually here, those who are not there yet will be posted pretty soon as I'm going to do one more sim dump for this world. If you want to know more about the save, check my post here.

I know, she's very yellow-coded on the first 4 outfits. But hey, blame her, not me.

When I do makeovers, I try not to stray from how they originally look like because I don't want it to feel like I just "made another sim". So I just give them better versions of their clothes, hair, etc. As per plastic surgery, of course they all go under it. But I always try not to go overboard.

Cacti Casa - The Bedrooms

This is Gavin's bedroom. He's neat, and a writer, so I figured he'd have a nice clean space to focus on his writing.

J Huntington has his own punching bag in his bedroom, just in case of emergencies (for example, there's a zombie apocalypse and he can't get to the gym, or to the workout space in the garden).

Oh Mitchell... Mitchell is a lazy. He could give his room a good old tidy..but who can be bothered?!

Zoe's favourite colour in my game is pink. So, of course her bedroom is pink! She's cheerful, so her bedroom is a sanctuary of colours and trinkets and all the things that make her happy.

I was debating turning this into a rental unit, with all the living areas as shared spaces. I think I'm going to leave it as a plain old residential for now though, and see how the gameplay goes!

The residents of my version of Bedrock Strait in Oasis Springs!

"Residents of this delightfully kitschy neighborhood take pride in their billboards and lawn gnomes. And who wouldn't love getting to say hello to Barry the Brontosaurus every morning?"

From top left to bottom right:

Living in a van at Sandtrap Flat trying to make it as a comedian after being disowned by the Landgraabs, Johnny Zest.

Brandy Broke wanted a change of scenery after the drama and trauma of Pleasantview, so the Broke family moved to a mobile home at Pebble Burrow right after unborn baby broke, named Skip Jr. after his father, was born. Dustin Broke has already got himself involved in crime and mischief, while Brandy attempts to raise Beau Broke in what she hopes to be a happier environment.

Still having big trouble getting that artist dream off the ground, Darren Dreamer has fallen into debt and had to sell the house in Pleasantview. buying the smallest mobile home in the neighborhood at Agave Abode. Out of shame he sleeps in the storage room and gave the only bedroom to his soon-to-be young adult son, Dirk Dreamer who dreams of a much different life from his father.

Ousted from the FutureSim Labs Institute for his radical dislike for aliens and advocating for a stronger focus on rocket science and servos, mad scientist Dr. F has set up a rival lab a short distance away at Slipshod Mesquite, just close enough to spy with a not-so-subtle scanner or three. While most scientists stayed with FutureSim, Dr. F managed to recruit ambitious robot scientist Alexa Lexington, as well as a janitor/astronaut/maintenance guy called Vic Vector to his cause. The lab also has two servos, Dr. F's first prototype, a slightly paranoid tree-loving one who is called Proto-Makoto, as well as the second prototype, a hot-headed chef-bot called T.O.B.O.R.

Oasis 2 - Oasis Springs

here's another house inhabited by 2 sims that we already know, but that have undergone a makeover!

initially there were 4 roommates, but they decided to split up and go to live a little wider and more comfortable.

I'm talking about them: Gavin Richards and J.Huntington III

I am in love with these guys. Soooo handsome!
