I know, she's very yellow-coded on the first 4 outfits. But hey, blame her, not me.

When I do makeovers, I try not to stray from how they originally look like because I don't want it to feel like I just "made another sim". So I just give them better versions of their clothes, hair, etc. As per plastic surgery, of course they all go under it. But I always try not to go overboard.

Although his younger children are not the brightest in school, his son Simon is making his way to become an equally talented actor as his father. If only his health would allow it so.

Lesly had always dreamed of a love story straight out of romantic comedy. Unfortunately, her taste in men seems more suited to a horror movie. So, instead of a happy ending, she got Dean - handsome, charming, and gone the moment he found out she was pregnant. Then came Daryl. When he proposed, Lesly had never been happier; for once, her future seemed bright. That was, until Daryl’s love for bizarre fruits proved stronger than his love for her and he passed away from an overdose. Now she spends her nights in the local bar, drowning her sorrows in cheap drinks and hoping the love of her life will walk through the door. Her older daughter, Maria, seems to be handling life much better. She's popular, a cheerleader and recently started seeing this lovely, rich guy! We don't talk about the fact that the only thing he's good at is impressing her friends - or her secret part-time job that allows her to cover the bills and ensure her younger sister can enjoy a carefree childhood.

SAVE FILE UPDATE Lore is complex, so you'll need more context than what I can show you in the save itself. There's a character limit for household bios and I also can't write backstories for individual sims in-game, so I'm going to do it here. There will be a post like this for every family: it will include full version of the household biography, link to each sim's backstory and a household download. I'll add those links once I finish beta version of the save. I'm almost done with residential lots, so you can expect to see them soon!

Cacti Casa - The Bedrooms

This is Gavin's bedroom. He's neat, and a writer, so I figured he'd have a nice clean space to focus on his writing.

J Huntington has his own punching bag in his bedroom, just in case of emergencies (for example, there's a zombie apocalypse and he can't get to the gym, or to the workout space in the garden).

Oh Mitchell... Mitchell is a lazy. He could give his room a good old tidy..but who can be bothered?!

Zoe's favourite colour in my game is pink. So, of course her bedroom is pink! She's cheerful, so her bedroom is a sanctuary of colours and trinkets and all the things that make her happy.

I was debating turning this into a rental unit, with all the living areas as shared spaces. I think I'm going to leave it as a plain old residential for now though, and see how the gameplay goes!

The residents of my version of Bedrock Strait in Oasis Springs!

"Residents of this delightfully kitschy neighborhood take pride in their billboards and lawn gnomes. And who wouldn't love getting to say hello to Barry the Brontosaurus every morning?"

From top left to bottom right:

Living in a van at Sandtrap Flat trying to make it as a comedian after being disowned by the Landgraabs, Johnny Zest.

Brandy Broke wanted a change of scenery after the drama and trauma of Pleasantview, so the Broke family moved to a mobile home at Pebble Burrow right after unborn baby broke, named Skip Jr. after his father, was born. Dustin Broke has already got himself involved in crime and mischief, while Brandy attempts to raise Beau Broke in what she hopes to be a happier environment.

Still having big trouble getting that artist dream off the ground, Darren Dreamer has fallen into debt and had to sell the house in Pleasantview. buying the smallest mobile home in the neighborhood at Agave Abode. Out of shame he sleeps in the storage room and gave the only bedroom to his soon-to-be young adult son, Dirk Dreamer who dreams of a much different life from his father.

Ousted from the FutureSim Labs Institute for his radical dislike for aliens and advocating for a stronger focus on rocket science and servos, mad scientist Dr. F has set up a rival lab a short distance away at Slipshod Mesquite, just close enough to spy with a not-so-subtle scanner or three. While most scientists stayed with FutureSim, Dr. F managed to recruit ambitious robot scientist Alexa Lexington, as well as a janitor/astronaut/maintenance guy called Vic Vector to his cause. The lab also has two servos, Dr. F's first prototype, a slightly paranoid tree-loving one who is called Proto-Makoto, as well as the second prototype, a hot-headed chef-bot called T.O.B.O.R.
