Duck Duck Goose Uncle and Photographer Ken Downie meet up for a professional chinwag at Duck Duck Goose. Owner-Chef Willie makes the Vietnamese-style Pork & Prawn Noodle Salad into a vegetarian delight. Fried tofu, tempura mushroom, crispy offspring roll, are served with rice vermicelli, herbs, salad and pickles + a Vietnamese dressing and crushed peanuts & deep fried shallots to garnish. Ken needs his meat, so it's Beef Bao, with mushroom pepper sauce, gochujang, pickled red onion, and celery slaw. Bao wow, he mumbles, as he polishes off his beef bao. Yessika tells us she comes in at 4am to start her baking for the day. The brioche bun is fresh, soft and buttery, made even more seductive with chocolate ganache and buttercream. Irresistible!
