house is such an interesting show bc like, some aspects of it have aged just as poorly as you can imagine, some parts of it aged beautifully if you’re delusionally inventing backstory for it, and some parts of it are genuinely, uniquely, incredibly compassionate towards groups that are still wildly mistreated in the medical field today (people w munchausens, addicts/alcoholics, the morbidly obese) in a way that can’t possibly be mere coincidence
