Plans for future Spidey-Villains if I were in charge of continuing The Spectacular Spider-Man.
Mac Gargan / Scorpion:
• Private Investigator hired by J. Jonah Jameson, like in the comics
• Fails due to Peter using his spider-sense to evade him, leading to him being fired by Jameson, which not only causes him to lose his job, but also leaves him homeless, but is offered a second chance by a man claiming to work for The Kingpin
• Registers for an experimental operation by Wilson Fisk and Alastair Smythe, the idea behind the operation being to essentially create a genetically-enhanced police officer
• He is injected with multiple steroids that enhance his physical strength, and his outfitted with bulletproof armor equipped with a cybernetic tail
• Same story as in the comics basically, he is sent to capture Spider-Man, but over time, the chemical augmentations start affecting his brain and drive him to insanity, leading him to paralyze Smythe, and attack J.J.J., Peter promptly defeats him
• Eventually joins a new version of the Sinister Six
Roderick Kingsley / Hobgoblin
• Perfume company CEO, wants to buy Oscorp, but Harry doesn't like him as he thinks Oscorp is the "Osborn Family Legacy", Roderick doesn't like Harry either, seeing him as a nepo baby, (which Harry kind of is)
• Has a twin-brother named Daniel, but is less successful than Roderick, leading to constant belittling by his older brother
• Secretly does shady business deals, like in Season 2 where he attended the auction with NYC's various crime lords
• Hires a spy to infiltrate Oscorp one night, that thug discovers the Green Goblin's tech, spy steals it and brings it back to Roderick
• Roderick sees an opportunity, and creates a new persona, The Hobgoblin, and learns that Osborn used performance-enhancers to gain his superhuman powers
• Creates a chemical compound that includes all of the effects of the original Globulin Green with none of the side-effects
• Roderick decides he can frame other people as the Hobgoblin so he can get away with his crimes scott-free and take control of Oscorp and expand his business
• Multiple people are framed for being the Hobgoblin throughout the third season, including Ned Leeds, Harry Osborn, Emily Osborn, J. Jonah Jameson, and even Roderick's own brother Daniel
• Enters a turf war with Wilson Fisk
• Eventually, Roderick is outed as the Hobgoblin, and is imprisoned

Micheal Morbius / Morbius the Living Vampire
• Born in Greece in 1939, raised in America
• Was raised by his single mother, his father left his mother before he was born
• His mother died of a rare illness which caused her blood cells to rapidly degenerate, and eventually, Michael develops this disorder as well
• He meets Emil Nikos, and they become best friends, Nikos finds out about Michael's condition and vows to help him create a cure
• They won a Nobel Prize for their achievements in hematological research, and used the money to conduct the experiment that would cure Michael of his condition in 1971
• The experiment involved injecting Michael with a serum derived from the DNA of vampire bats, and electroshock therapy to enhance Michael's mutated blood cells
• The experiment goes awry, and Michael is transformed into a hideous creature resembling a vampire
• Michael kills Nikos in a bloodthirsty rage, and only regains his senses when he has completely drained Nikos of his blood
• Wracked with immeasurable guilt, Michael attempts suicide, but saves himself as living is a habit
• He roams the world for decades, eventually stumbling upon the house of Curt and Martha Connors, who he attacks while Peter is on a school field trip to the Florida Everglades
Morris Bench / Hydro-Man
• Demolitions expert, as he is in the show
• His wife divorced him a few months prior to the series, so he's a bit depressed
• He is brought to an experiment taking place on a cargo ship overseen by Oscorp, where there are experimenting with a device that can filter out hazardous chemicals in the world's various oceans
• The ship is attacked by the Hobgoblin, who is trying to steal technology, a fight breaks out between Spider-Man and Hobgoblin, and in the scuffle, Morris is knocked overboard
• Morris' body reacts strangely to the generator's radioactive materials, which causes his body to break down and then reform itself into a body that can transform itself into living water
• Hydro-Man escapes the hospital he was held in, and runs into the Hobgoblin, who convinces Morris that Spider-Man is responsible for his condition, and Hydro-Man swears revenge against the web-slinger
• He battles Spider-Man, who defeats him by freezing him with liquid nitrogen, and handing him over to the NYPD
• He is imprisoned, but eventually thawed out to join a new version of the Sinister Six
Cletus Kasady / Carnage
• Cletus is revealed to be a serial killer like in the comics
• He was born to Roscoe and Louise Kasady, and after he tortured and killed his mother's dog, he was sent to the St. Estes Home for Unwanted Children
• After he burned down the orphanage and killed the staff and its students, he murdered his parents as revenge for locking him up in that hell-hole
• He went on to murder several more people, until he was arrested, where the judge labeled him insane and had Cletus sent to the Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane, where he "befriended" Eddie Brock
• After the Venom Symbiote returns to Eddie in his and Cletus' cell, Eddie turns into Venom and causes a break out
• Little did Eddie know, the symbiote had produced an offspring, and it bonded to Cletus' bloodstream, turning the symbiote red and giving it full control over Kasady's cellular structure, making him much stronger than Eddie and Venom
• Cletus became Carnage, and resumed his killing spree, but on a mass scale, turning anyone in his way into his symbiote possessed minions
• Spider-Man realizes he has no choice but to team up with Venom. He also joins up with Black Cat, Cloak & Dagger, Morbius, Sandman, Prowler, and Silver Sable to take down Carnage and his drones
• Carnage is eventually defeated, and the symbiote hordes are returned to normal
• Cletus is imprisoned by S.H.I.E.L.D., due to the catastrophic event he just caused, and that's the last we ever see of Carnage
• Or is it?
Hobie Brown / Prowler
• He becomes friends with Peter in Season 3
• He has a bone to pick with Harry Osborn due to his doping in Season 2
• However, his girlfriend Mindy McPherson is kidnapped by the Hobgoblin's men, and he takes matters into his own hands
• He dons the Prowler suit for the first time, and takes out mutiple caches of Hobgoblin's goons throughout the city in order to get to Mindy
• He runs into Spider-Man, and they get into a disagreement on how to take down The Hobgoblin, Peter just wants to simply defeat Hobgoblin and bring him to justice, whereas Hobie wants to kill Hobgoblin, and they get into a fight
• They eventually stop fighting, and put their differences aside to save Mindy
• They defeat Hobgoblin and his men and save Mindy, but Hobgoblin escapes before he can be arrested
• Prowler eventually teams up with Spidey again during the "Maximum Carnage" event
John Jameson / Man-Wolf
• Still in Ravencroft after Season 2
• He's still obsessed with the strength he obtained during his time as Colonel Jupiter
• He is visited in his cell by J.J.J. and Miles Warren, who offers to give him back the power he so desperately wants
• He is injected with a steroid that turns him back into Colonel Jupiter, and he becomes an ally to Spider-Man again
• Warren secretly installed nanites into John's bloodstream that would activate under lunar rays
• During one night out on patrol, John keeled over in pain and transformed into a hulking canine creature dubbed The Man-Wolf
• Man-Wolf eventually attacked his father at the DB, but Spider-Man used an antidote on John that eliminated the nanites in his system and turned him back into a human
• John was eventually turned back into Man-Wolf, and kidnapped by Kraven the Hunter and forced to fight Spider-Man again during this show's adaptation of "Kraven's Last Hunt", (Man-Wolf takes the place of Vermin) but after Kraven dies, Spider-Man goes after Man-Wolf and turns him back into a human again
• Warren finds a strand of Man-Wolf's hair, and keeps it along with a sample of Globulin Green...for safe keeping
Prof. Miles Warren / Jackal
• He's taken Dr. Connors' place as ESU's science division
• He has an assistant named Debra Whitman
• He was behind Molten Man and Man-Wolf, and will be the ultimate mastermind behind the Clone Saga
• He creates a clone of Peter and Gwen, the Peter clone is used to tarnish Peter's reputation as Spider-Man, while the Gwen clone would become Miles' surrogate daughter
• Miles' wife and daughter died prior to the series in an accident, and Gwen reminded him of his daughter
• So that when she died, Miles had a mental breakdown and decided to use his expertise in cellular biology to create a perfect clone of Gwen
• But Peter and his clone eventually put aside their differences, and confronted Miles in the ESU lab
• As a last resort, he injected himself with a serum comprised of canine DNA and Norman Osborn's Goblin serum, turning him into a monster called The Jackal
• He's eventually defeated, imprisoned, and returned to his human form after a vicious fight with Peter Parker and Ben Reilly
• He later escapes prison and creates a newer, stronger clone he calls Kaine, he brainwashes Kaine and sends him after Peter and Ben
• Kaine is eventually freed from his brainwashing and kills Miles for all the people he's hurt, Peter, Gwen, Curt Connors and his family, Mark Allan, and John Jameson

Globalists are cultivatating professional thugs of anarchists whose goal is to usher in their so called "new world order" through the destruction of the world's cities.
It pains me to see people who look like me rewarded for theft, vandalism and even murder. Once upon a time in black culture, lawlessness was discouraged. Now, mayors (like the one in Baltimore) tell the police to give rioters "space to destroy." Morally corrupt Maxine Watters threatened jurors in Minnesota that a "not guilty" verdict in the case against officer Derek Chauvin would cause violence & destruction.
Two (2) of these gangs have names: Antifa and BLM. Antifa recruits students or entry level young professionals who seek career advancement. This first rung up the anarchist's ladder of success serves as an initiation into more sophisticated anarchist circles. It can lead to lucrative job opportunities and political appointments.
Participants are often rewarded with tenured teaching posts in colleges and universities. They also move up the ladder in various corporate and legal firms and they are positioned for political appointments.
BLM and the lower level "gangs" are made up of the nameless, disposable radicals meant to be sacrificed for "the greater good." Organizations like the NAACP and so called "black leaders" like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Michelle & Barack Obama serve as plantation DRIVERS who are assigned to manipulate the minds of the "disposable" anarchists.
The collapse of American cities into lawless cities is strategic. It is no coincidence that over 400,000 Americans have fled "Gotham" NYC as it is destroyed from the inside out.
New York is redefining what constitutes an actual crime. The result is their statistics don't tell the full story of how failure to prosecute criminals has destroyed New York City and in turn, millions of lives. The dirty cop, DA Alvin Bragg only has dismal 49% success rate prosecuting crime.
A native New Yorker:
A silver lining to these fraudulent Trump indictment(s) is a bright spotlight on criminal INJUSTICE at the hands of dirty DAs, AGs, State's Attorneys, Judges and so-called special prosecutors.
Our American House of Representatives hosted a NYC field hearing for victims of violent crime.
Below please find heartbreaking testimonies of the victims. They are cautionary tales of how lawlessness has impacted everyday people around the United States of America. Sadly, the residents of these cities don't understand that they voted for their demise.

The company has pledged to offer more safety training for workers and clarify safety procedures, such as when to call 911, and making changes to store formats and layouts. Social Disorder Insurance Claims $2 Billion during a Historic Summer of Anarchy
"The most expensive outbreak of civil unrest in U.S. history, costing insurance companies an estimated $2 billion to cover protestor wreckage in the days following George Floyd’s death.
The sky high price tag comes from an assessment by Property Claims Services (PCS) published in Axios which has tracked claims related to social disorder since 1950. The company classifies any violent outbreak sparking more than $25 million in claims a “catastrophe.”
The $2 billion figure covering claims made from rioting across 20 states between May 26 and June 8 dwarfs the dollar-amounts doled out by insurance companies in the aftermath of previous periods of unrest isolated to individual cities.
“It’s not just happening in one city or state – it’s all over the country,” Loretta L. Worters, a spokesperson for the group told Axios. “And this is still happening, so the losses could be significantly more.”
Indeed, the initial Floyd riots merely kicked off a historic summer of anarchy sweeping the nation’s cities where
in Portland, Oregon, militant social justice warriors surpassed 100 days of consecutive terrorism. Protestors launched repeated assaults on state and federal law enforcement featuring mortar-style fireworks and lasers that can cause permanent blindness.
Protestors launched repeated assaults on state and federal law enforcement featuring mortar-style fireworks and lasers that can cause permanent blindness.
The only prior outbreak to come close to producing the same level of carnage as the 14 days of rioting after Floyd’s death, measured by insurance claims, are the 1992 Los Angeles riots causing $775 million in insured losses, or more than $1.4 billion in today’s dollars, according to PCS.
Consequent research on the nation’s pandemic of domestic terrorism this summer has further highlighted the breadth of the destruction. The map below shows where the nation suffered nearly 570 violent riots between May 24, the day before Floyd’s death, and Aug. 22, the day before Jacob Blake was shot in Kenosha, Wisconsin triggering a second wave of chaotic demonstrations reaching smaller communities."

Our Brutal NYC project surveys over 40 examples of brutalist architecture in and around the city. Today we are looking at the monolithic New York Telephone Company Building, one of the first completed projects in the 130-acre White Plains Urban Renewal Area, just north of the Bronx. A telephone building previously occupied the site, and the company announced plans in 1968 to renovate and expand the structure, citing anticipated growth from urban renewal. Because of the building’s structural integrity, it was saved from demolition, but the “bulky ugliness” of the building led New York Telephone to an “imaginative design [that] turned this clumsy monster into a modern functional sculpture. In this special instance, the architectural challenge was mainly aesthetic.” A new facade was also added, radically altering it from its original appearance. It features two very distinct striated concrete facades, which extend outward from the core at street level before rising straight up. The windows are deep and recessed, sometimes covered by angled concrete louvers. The north and south faces of the building are windowless and sheathed in flat granite panels. Telephone companies constructed many of these functional but overbearing structures in cities across the country. Like the Long Lines Building at 33 Thomas Street in Manhattan, the thick, bulky exterior was designed with function over aesthetic. Inside, the building houses switches and equipment, “the most complex and sophisticated electronic equipment now available for rapid and efficient telephone service” as described by company officials. The building was described by Paul Goldberger for the New York Times as overbearing while also being ambitious, “aggressively sculptural and altogether unwelcoming.” Goldberger was critical of White Plains' automobile-centered urban renewal development, but especially tough on the Telephone Building, stating it “may look intriguing as one passes it in a car, but that makes it like most of the new downtown White Plains, a place that if it works at all, it is from the vantage of the automobile.” (at White Plains, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4N4BTqnz83/?igshid=191cr8f549z80

Demolition or sustainable structure renewal and revitalization while preserving the design language and context? When a holistic approach is taken to a building’s life cycle, rehabilitation is clearly more sustainable in terms of ecology and energy use. Demolition always means a release of ‘grey energy‘ – the primary energy invested when a building is erected.

TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten deal intensively with the subject of re-use and revitalization of existing buildings and present in the exhibition numerous different ways conscious and sustainable treatment of existing structures may not only preserve urban diversity but also develop it further, taking into account the relevant historical and urban-development context. The original function of a building determines the scale and structure in which a new matrix of uses and an architectural solution are created. National and international examples by TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten are presented vividly in an exhibition installation.
Background: The architectural language of post-war Modernism has a substantial influence on how our cities look. Historically speaking, buildings, which were erected during this period and are now showing their age, often possess considerable significance but are for the most part not subject to conservation status. From the investor’s perspective, it often seems better economic sense to tear down an existing building and replace it with a new structure, although it has been proven that refurbishment is significantly more sustainable from an ecological and energetic point of view.

The approach of TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten: The office has been committed to sustainable and respectful revitalization for years, taking into account the history, architectural language, and role and impact in urban space of a building. This attitude and approach has been implemented in numerous national and international projects and was already the subject of „The Java Tower“, the first exhibition of TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten at Aedes in 1997. Growing appreciation of existing built structures and an increasing awareness of issues such as sustainability, resource conservation, efficient use of energy and space, and the circular economy have led to works of architecture currently threatened with demolition being increasingly considered for possible re-use, as the examples by TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten demonstrate.

After the revitalisation, the Berlin office building Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6 can once again assume its important urban role in the overall ensemble of the square. Central for the architects was not only structural, but also sustainability in design, the preservation of the architectural language of the building.
With its new façade, Blissestrasse 5 is an example of a contemporary, sustainable approach and a conscious engagement with the existing architecture from the 1970s that characterises the city of Berlin in this district.
The cube of the Nikolaikontor, built in 1959, had no reference to the historical urban context before the revitalisation. The premise here was to reclaim a building that reflects the historic urban structure while preserving the substance and at the same time providing a contemporary façade.
There is considerable potential in industrial zones from the 1960s and 1970s too, many of which are currently undergoing revitalization. At that time built on the peripheries without a direct reference to a specific urban-planning context, their shells can now be architecturally reinterpreted and put to a contemporary use.
For the Langenzipen commercial and residential building an abandoned industrial shell was further developed.
The shell structure of the former Rossiya factory in St. Petersburg was reused for the Benois office building,
The Aedes exhibition presents these complex issues of Re-Use in an informative, vivid and stimulating exhibition installation.
TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten design, plan and build for national and international clients in the public and private sectors. With around 160 highly qualified, interdisciplinary employees and many years of experience, the company with its offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Dresden offers architecturally and functionally sustainable solutions for a wide variety of building tasks at home and abroad.

What Makes Dumpster Rentals an Efficient Waste Removal Method?
Whether it be for cleaning out a house, moving, remodeling, or landscaping, renting a roll-off dumpster costs money… but thinking of it as an expense is just wrong.
When you consider the cost and time savings that renting a dumpster can provide, you will find that roll-off dumpster rentals in NYC are among the [if not the] most efficient ways to get rid of huge piles of garbage from your residential or commercial property.
Cost Savings
No matter where you live in New York City, dumps can be a long-distance away… driving there will cost you.
Firstly, you must pay for the gas. One trip to the landfill may not break your bank. However, when the fuel costs are multiplied by multiple trips, the cost of driving to a dump will come out surprisingly high.
When you finally reach the dump, there is another cost you have to incur. This is the “tipping fee.” Depending on the dump, a tipping fee or a gate fee might be based on the weight of the waste per ton or the quantity of bags.
With a temporary dumpster rental, you avoid taking multiple trips to the dump to dispose of the trash. Sure, dumpster rental companies also add fuel costs and tipping fees in their quotes, but the final charges are still significantly cheaper than driving to the landfill yourself.
Time Savings
In addition to saving your money, enlisting a dumpster rental company's services can also save you a tremendous amount of time.
Instead of piling up the garbage and driving it to a landfill, you can simply throw it in the dumpster on your property. There is no quick trip to the dump, so eliminating the need for a trip can help you save time.
To sum it up…
...the money and time renting a roll-off dumpster can save people makes it one of the most economically viable ways to dispose of the waste generated on your property. If you are looking for a roll-off dumpster for your clean up, demolition, and rubbish removal needs anywhere in New York City, contact PCI Contracting today.

Which Is The Best Removal Graffiti Company?
What Does Graffiti Removal Service Cost?
Table of ContentsWhat Do Removal Graffiti Services Include? How Much Does It Cost To Have A Graffiti Removal Cost? What Do I Need To Know To Hire A Graffiti Removal Service? What Is The Best Cost Of Graffiti Removal App?
( courtesy of Wikimedia Commons) Just across Newtown Creek in Long Island City stood a deserted commercial site that lots of thought about the world's biggest treasury of graffiti art. Tragically demolished in 2013, the world-famous 5 Pointz included twelve factory buildings varying in height from a single story to 5 floorings.
What Is The Best Graffiti Removal Rates Program?
5 Pointz grew so famous that travelers from worldwide travelled to Long Island City to photograph the remarkable examples of graffiti art that embellished its lots of exterior walls, however the well-known complex would not have a long life and would die a tragic death. (courtesy of Jules Antonio/Flickr) Located at 4546 Davis Street, the structures, which were constructed in 1892, once housed a water meter factory, but the water meter plant was long by the early 1970s when designer Jerry Wolkoff bought the deserted factory and rented space inside to industrial companies.
Quickly, aerosol artists began to cover the exterior walls with their colorful and imaginative murals. At first called the Phun Factory, the structure was renamed "5 Pointz" in 2002 when graffiti artist Jonathan Cohen started curating the exterior murals. The murals' fame spread and Cohen even conceived strategies to turn the big complex into a museum of graffiti art.
The tags at 5 Points (thanks to Wikimedia Commons) While Five Pointz popularity was spreading out around the globe, Long Island City was likewise changing. Due to its distance to Manhattan, the location started to become a magnet for high-rise residential towers and Wolkoff became progressively knowledgeable about his site's multi-million dollar realty worth.
On August 21, 2013, the New York City City Planning Commission all authorized Wolkoff's strategies to construct condominiums on the property, while the New York City City Landmarks Conservation Commission declined the artists' landmark status appeal for the complex (removal graffiti). A firestorm of protest developed worldwide after Wolkoff's triumph as artists and art enthusiasts set in motion to save the now-famous complex.
The night of November 19, 2013 was an awful night in the history of regional art. In the middle of the night, the designer had the well-known murals whitewashed, regardless of an injunction submitted by 5 Pointz proprietors and a well-attended rally on November 16th to petition signatures to avoid its demolition.
Who Has The Best Graffiti Removal Cost?
The covered graffiti in 2014 (by means of Google Maps) Prior to the whitewashing (thanks to Wally Gobetz/Flickr) On February 3, 2014, artists sprayed "Art Murder" in large letters on the side of the building. Later on the artists draped a large" Gentrification In Development" banner around the building, however their most significant and most effective demonstration would soon come.
The brand-new development in location of Five Pointz (through Google Maps) In 2017, it appeared that Wolkoff had won and the artists had lost, however a few of the aggrieved artists submitted a federal suit the same year declaring that their rights as artists had been violated under the controversial 1990 Visual Artists Rights Act, which mentioned that artists had to get ninety days observe prior to the destruction of their art.
Initially, the opportunities of the artists' triumph appeared bad. During most of the legal procedures, the artists' case appeared weak, as the defense lawyer pointed out that the artists themselves had frequently painted over each other's work, in addition to casting doubt on the expediency of eliminating graffiti setups without harming them.
The judge granted twenty-one artist plaintiffs the shocking amount of over six million dollars in damages. The destruction of the Five Pointz complex was a dark day in the history of New York City art, not to point out in the lives of the artists whose works were damaged, yet some great came out of the terrible loss of art - removal graffiti.
What Is Full Service Graffiti Removal Rates?
Perhaps in the future will serve as the legal basis for safeguarding other pieces of threatened street art. (courtesy of Wikimedia Commons).
You can report graffiti done within the previous 7 days or repeatedly at the exact same location. Officers from your local authorities precinct will respond when they are not dealing with emergency scenarios. You can likewise ask for that the responding officers issue a cops report for insurance coverage or other functions. If you ask for a police report, Best graffiti removal nyc Service you can not stay anonymous and you should be readily available to fulfill the reacting law enforcement officer.
How Do I Choose A Cost Of Graffiti Removal Service?
Discussing 5Pointz is still emotional for Jonathan Cohen, better understood by his tag name, Meres One. The April Santa Clara City Council calendars are out, again, later than the 10th of the month Ordinance 1950 requires. Past calendars continue to remain unchanged, with no mention of last year’s meetings with Banner Public Affairs and Peter Hillan—another requirement of the ordinance. This, again, shows Santa Clara City Council claiming transparency, but refusing to follow its own rules, and no one, including City Attorney Brian Doyle, policing Santa Clara politicians.
Although May has proved to be a particularly damaging month for now-former Council Member Dominic Caserta, his April calendar was fairly light. He did, however, manage to pack in three meetings regarding the BAREC site on Apr. 2 and 3. His first meeting was with David Neale, President & CEO of The CORE Companies, immediately followed by a meeting with San Jose resident Kirk Vartan on Apr. 2. Less than 24 hours later, Caserta had a meeting with CORE’s Vice President of Development Paul Ring about the site.
On Apr. 2, prior to his meetings with CORE, Caserta met with Jon Moss, Executive Vice President and Partner at Prometheus regarding the 5.7 acre, 355-apartment, mixed-use Viso Project at 575 Benton St. and had an introductory phone call with Peter Tsai, Vice President of Real Estate Development of The Sobrato Organization.
On Apr. 10, Caserta had a meeting with Laborers’ Local 270’s Olivia Navarror about labor issues and a phone call with Dennis Martin of Sausedo Consulting and South Bay Governmental Affairs on Apr. 23. A meeting with the WEEKLY’s David Alexander rounded out any non-public meetings or events for the former Council Member.
Council Member Pat Kolsatd recorded only four events on his calendar in April, all public meetings, with one attended remotely, and Council Member Patricia Mahan also maintained a light calendar, recording five public meetings and the Relay for Life event for the American Cancer Society on Apr. 28.
Mayor Lisa Gillmor, Vice Mayor Kathy Watanabe and Council Members Debi Davis and Teresa O’Neill continued their trend of full calendars containing a mix of public meetings and events as well as private meetings with developers and residents.
Gillmor began her month with an interview with Maze & Associates’ auditors Cody Smith and Amy Meyer. She then had a series of events regarding City Place or with The Related Companies—the first of which was on Apr. 4 and attended by Davis and City Manager Deanna Santana. The trio met with Rudolph and Sletten’s Vice President John Elwood and ELS Architects’ Clarence Mamuyac regarding the not-yet-funded Santa Clara International Swim Center, as well as the Kylli Group—a subsidiary of Genzon Investment Group—and City Place.
A day later the Mayor and Vice Mayor met with Related’s lobbyist, Jude Barry, regarding City Place and transportation and four days later Gillmor, Santana, Assistant City Managers Manuel Pineda and Ruth Shikada met with Related Companies Chairman Stephen Ross to view Related’s Hudson Yard project, an 18 million square foot project in New York City that will include approximately 4,000 residences, an art center, 14 acres of open space, a 200-plus room hotel, office tours, restaurants, 100 retail shops and a 750-seat public school. Hudson Yard will cost NYC almost $1 billion in public funding foregone tax revenue.
Gillmor recorded a meeting with the South Bay Labor Council’s Executive Officer Ben Field regarding unions and living wage on Apr. 18, meeting with the Director of Real Estate Development of Adobe Services Jon White and Adobe’s Executive Director Louis Chicoine regarding the Corvin Housing Project on Apr. 19 and meeting with Unite Here, Local 19’s Sarah McDermott about labor unions and the Hyatt Hotel later that day.
Later in the month, on Apr. 23, Gillmor met with Attorney Rob Mezzetti of Mezzetti Law Firm and Consultant Bob Mendelsohn of Republic Metropolitan regarding affordable housing. A meeting with Old Quad Association President Adam Thompson about Republic’s proposed train station project immediately followed Gillmor’s meeting with Mezzetti and Mendelsohn.
Gillmor notched another meeting with unions on Apr. 26 when she met with Santa Clara County Residents for Responsible Development’s Director Josue Garcia and union representatives from three unions about labor and Santa Clara projects. Also on Apr. 26, Gillmor and Davis met with the American Cancer Society and Santa Clara County’s Tobacco Free Coalition to discuss tobacco use in Santa Clara. Gillmor met with the Santa Clara Lawn Bowls Club following her meeting with Davis and the anti-smoking groups.
Gillmor also attended the Relay for Life event and ended the month by filming the Wrestlemania Welcome Video and meeting with Santa Clara Police Activities League (PAL) Director Gordon Pound about PAL.
Like Caserta, Watanabe met with Tsai regarding Sobrato on Apr. 3. The Vice Mayor met with candidate for Cupertino City Council Tara Sreekrishnan about endorsement on Apr. 4 and candidate for State of California Insurance Commissioner Dr. Asif Mahmood, also about endorsement, on Apr. 10.
On Apr. 18, Watanabe met with candidate for Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors Susan Ellenberg, who is running for the same seat Caserta was vying for before sexual harassment and bullying accusations derailed his campaign. Watanabe also hosted an event for Ellenberg on Apr. 30.
Watanabe’s April calendar included two meetings with residents. The Vice Mayor, who resides in Santa Clara’s Northside, met with resident Nicole Wynn regarding Lick Mill Park issues on Apr. 9 and Maria Barbieri regarding the catchall “community issues” on Apr. 30.
She took a break from “business” meetings by continuing her attendance at the Santa Clara Police Department’s Citizens’ Police Academy and making an appearance at Relay for Life, but ended the month with Bothman Construction’s Bob Bothman about the 1411 Lewis Street demolition project.
The majority of Davis’ meetings not previously mentioned, were public meetings and events, although she did take time out to judge Santa Clara’s Sculpture Exhibition; meet with Dan Ondrasek and Rodney Dunham of Reclaiming our Downtown and Freeman, Tung & Sasaki’s Greg Tung about the Reclaiming Our Downtown group; and attend the Relay for Life Event.
O’Neill began April by meeting with Foothill-De Anza Community College District Board of Trustees Board Member Pearl Chang, Santa Cruz City Schools Board of Education Member Rose Filizetti and Sunnyvale resident Jo Lucey about education issues on Apr. 3. Later that evening, at 9:30 p.m., O’Neill met with Maryland-based Fair Vote’s Margaret Okuzumi about Measure A—the June ballot measure redrawing Santa Clara’s voting districts to allow for three Council seats in two districts instead of the current “at-large voting” procedure.
O’Neill met with resident Jonathan Marinaro regarding the Planning Commission opening on Apr. 6, continued her monthly, Q&A with residents on Apr.8, had a phone call with Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA)’s General Manager and CEO Nuria Fernandez regarding labor on Apr. 12 and met with resident Anthony Becker about planning and development issues on Apr.21, before notching a meeting with developer ROEM Corporation’s Executive Vice President Alex Sanchez and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development Stephen Emami about Santa Clara projects on Apr. 23 and Winter Consulting Principal Corrinne Winter regarding transportation issues on Apr. 25.
O’Neill filled up much of the remainder April with more Measure A events, including a public information night on the campaign on Apr. 26 and meeting with Okuzumi and former Santa Clara Council Member Will Kennedy on Apr. 30. She also had a meeting regarding “Santa Clara issues” with Parks and Recreation Commissioner Tino Silva on Apr. 27.
Finally, in yet another case of “too many Council Members attending an event,” O’Neill also attended Relay for Life, making five Council Members—O’Neill, Watanabe, Davis, Gillmor and Mahan—at an event at the same time. Council continues to straddle the line of ethics, and, again, disregards the general rule of avoiding a quorum outside of council chambers.

Construction of the Hippodrome began in June 1904, with Frederick Thompson and Jay H. Morgan as architects, and the Fuller Company as the general contractor. Finishing touches were still being put in place days before the April 12, 1905 opening. Famous artists including Paderewski have played here. In 1922, Richard Strauss conducted a series of concerts with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Prior to its demolition in the Fall of 1939, it was a motion picture house. The theatre closed in August 1939 for demolition, and in 1952 a large modern office building known as "The Hippodrome Center", opened on the site. - - #nyc #newyork #newyorkcity #newyorker #newyork_instagram #love #instadaily #igers #oldnewyork #photooftheday #blackandwhite #history #oldphoto #old #vintage #oldies #memories #me #architecture #construction #throwback #tbt #oldpic #beforeandafter #antique #olddays #historic #historical #culture #time (at Manhattan, New York)

What to Think about Before Buying Craftsman Socket Tools
There Are a couple of good ways to get your performance power tools at more reasonable prices while keeping the standard of the tools themselves. The few things that you want to focus on when you're deciding on your purchases are that tools you need, the performance that the tools offer, and the equipment's quality for maintenance and lifetime.
First, Jot down exactly what projects or jobs you have coming up along with people which you expect in the long run. Next to each one, specify which sort of gear you will need especially when it comes to making your tasks easier. Eventually make a last list of individual tools that you would like to purchase starting in the very best for the one you would use the maximum to the base as the least used tool. Take a drill as an example. You can obtain a plain drill to drill holes in metal or wood; read the description to be certain that it can drill into metal. Most drills don't work well when drilling concrete, ceramics, or masonry things. For that you'll require an impact hammer driver-drill in addition to the appropriate bits. This tool, just like you'd expect, hammers the bit onto the surface beating little pieces off till you get the right dimensions and depth that you would like; the more impacts/blows per minute (IPM/BPM) the tool creates, it will get that hole done faster, and the higher the torque, the faster your work will proceed too. The next step up in the effect hammer driver-drill is the effect driver; this generally has more impacts/blows per second and much more torque to get things done even faster than the impact hammer driver-drill. Similarly, a drill may be fitted using socket type bits to use to attach attachments or drive bolts, but an impact wrench will get the job done even quicker. Furthermore, if you use the perfect tool for your job, the time and money stored at work will translate into extending the life of your other tools as a drill-driver utilized to set a hole in some masonry will misuse the instrument and shorten its lifetime.
Another Example are saws. There are lots of forms like circular saws, reciprocating saws, jig saws, band saws, cut-out tools, multi-tools, and chain saws to choose from depending on your needs. Here again there's a saw that fits the needs of different situations. Should you use the right one for the job, you may spend less time at work without having to perform more work to wash a demanding job up later. Believe it or not I have seen some folks do demolition use a chain saw and destroy the series when it hit nails, whereas, a reciprocating saw with the ideal blade would cut through that like butter.
Just about Any tool can be obtained Now as a cordless or battery operated version; with the improvements in batteries which were made over the last ten years, there's really no need now to use tools with strings that just get in the way and may be dangerous hazards. NiCads and lithiums are the most popular with lithium ion taking the lead and being the primary battery being fabricated fo most tools today. The main complaint with lithiums is when they run out of power the only stop with no warning. A few of the manufacturers like DeWalt have started to address this problem by adding battery fuel gauge indicators to provide the operator an idea of the way the battery is powering down; not all batteries have this feature yet. A few of the firms have made enormous strides in the way the batteries cost. For example, Makita has a built-in shock absorbing feature plus a built-in memory chip from the battery to communicate with all the Optimum Charger allowing for a more efficient control during the charging process to improve the battery's lifetime by actively controlling the current, voltage, and temperature; the charger has an integrated fan to cool the battery to increase the battery's lifetime. One point to note if using these lithium ion batteries is if they become incredibly hot, allow them to cool down down, and see they don't get so hot that they burst.
Some tools come as brushless models today. This Increases the efficiency of the engine and cuts back on the maintenance by not having to replace the brushes as they wear down. Keep a look out for the tools with special clutches that release when the instrument binds; this will save replacing your clutch and engine, thereby extending the tool's life.
With the most recent advances in plastics, many Of those performance power tools now have softer hand retains and lighter weight as well as better ergonomics to permit the user to operate more comfortably for longer periods of time which means less time a job to rest, and subsequently, time and money saved total.
Many Hammer/impact kind programs have built-in vibration controls, but many do not. That's 1 feature that changes across the board. Within a certain company, models which are almost identical may or may not have a vibration reduction feature, so if you would like this feature, check the particular tool you are interested in very attentively.
The Standard of The tools which you buy may fluctuate considerably. Unless you really cannot afford good quality gear or you simply need something to get the job done now and do not want to rent a tool, you should really consider buying for your tool's quality. That is since a well-maintained tool can endure for several years, if not your life. The actual price of the tool spread out over that many years will wind up being less costly over the long run as opposed to having to buy several of the same reduced quality gear in the same time period. That is why things like the formerly mentioned anti-binding clutch-motors, vibration reduction, and battery-charger efficacy and cooling features are so important to prolong the life of your new tools while making maintenance simpler like using the brushless attributes and being more effective at precisely the same moment.
The Selection of what power tools to get is different for each one of us because we all have individual needs depending on what products or jobs we operate on. Take the time ahead to determine what you need rather than impulse purchasing. Maybe even purchasing a group of power tools together enjoy a combo deal or bundled package could aid you over the long term. Remember quality performance power tools are an investment.
I have loved construction sheds and houses and doing a variety of house Improvements in addition to many woodworking projects using both hand and I like exploring how programs change and Adapt them for my needs. Imagine filling your own shed with a 108 piece craftsman tool set for A workshop or committed hobby area with amazing energy tools; that's What I am going to do next. Have fun with your creativity too!
