Reach Out and Touch Faith

It seems like @markiplier really misses Dark, so much so that he was mentioning him a good bit at one point, and even seeing the colors red and blue together had him saying “Darkiplier???”. So I decided the logical thing to do was to paint a massive canvas with Dark. 

How’s this for Fuck You energy Mark?

It’s actually a coincidence that this project aligned with Dark’s birthday but I’m gonna pretend that it was on purpose. Worked nicely so I can join in on @tentacleheadcold ‘s Hot Void Summer though.

BTW this is 100% a joke, to be honest this is really more of an exercise for me to get me out of my comfort zone since I don’t normally paint things like this, and the main reason I chose Dark is because he’s already in black and white which is helpful for me because I loathe mixing skin tones. 

But yeah I mean like I had to stare at Mark’s dumb face for like 24 hours so who really got clowned on here lmao 

It’s also kinda funny, cuz with how I painted his eyes no matter where you are standing in front of him it always looks like he’s looking at and judging you. Which honestly tracks with Dark’s character. But the whole time I was painting and had him out on the easel I was like ‘Bitch! Stop fucking looking at me!!’ 

Like I’ll be sitting on my bed working on my programming hw or something like that and I can just see him out of the corner of my eye. Shut up I know my code sucks you don’t have to look at me like that. Fucker.

I just had to redraw this iconic image of them from AHWM for the occasion. Heist was actually my first exposure to Mark’s lore, as well as Dark. Great first impression 10/10.

The day has finally come! Ol' Darkiboo ( @fromthedeskof-darkiplier ) finally worked up the courage to propose to their beloved Wilford ( @respect-the-stache ), and their wedding was today. It was a beautiful procession 🖤💖
