I've been rethinking Lalik's design for the last few days. I'm 99% sure about the hair style and 100% sure about eye makeup. Like, look at them gorgeous peepers now 🥺

The marking on his face or not actually tattoos. They are mandatory protective marks that every magician has. He has another two on both hands and feet.

I really should do ref sheets for them all (┬┬﹏┬┬)

Only a quick sketch this time of Ino and his ex-lover, Tei. Tei won’t appear in HotB because he is [redacted] by [redacted], but he will be mentioned.

It’s not common for Volcheks to have curly hair so Tei actually means ‘lamb’ 🐑

Okay, as promised, here are the fighting sprites! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

I’m not sure Tayena looks like herself on this pic, but in my defense, my pc crashes whenever I try to rotate the canvas so... shit. That’s life, my babiez, your faces will not look good whenever you tilt your heads so deal with it.

I like the pose, but I think I will bend the right leg in the knee so that she looks more like she’s running. Because at the moment, her upper body screams “Bring it on!” and her lower body says “I need to pee” and that just won’t work.

I’m very happy with Lalik’s stance, I know it’s similar to Tayena’s but for a no-reference pose - I give it 5/5. I need to work on the hood and the fabric folding and all that jazz and... *facepalms* I really need to change that staff. It’s horrendous! Just look at it - that’s the Sims’ diamond right there, for fuck’s sake! 

I like Elemir’s expression, however... This isn’t really a good pose, but it’s not awful either. But hey, I was my own reference. It’s not so simple to pose as an angry warrior all while holding a fly swatter pretending it’s a greatsword, ya know.

I like Ino in this pose, full stop. His hair and his teeth look dramatic and fucking badass and the rest of his body is kinda “Bitch, I’m fabulous” and I can live with that. 

Sabbeha isn’t really... in a fight position here, I know, but she’s not actually a fighter (don’t get me wrong, she can scar you real bad with her claws that I forgot to draw here!). She’s a herbalist that can heal (and hurt) people on touch and prepare all kinds of nasty potions and oils. This will most likely be her regular sprite as well. I think I will only change her expression and raise her right arm to show off her nasty claws - when I draw them!
