“Yahalom?” You heard Alfies gruff voice call you softly. “We’re back now.”
Rising groggily from the cushion of Alfie’s chest, you rub at your tight eyes which strained against the darkness outside the cars windows. You can just about make out a silhouette of the row of houses in which yours was wedged between. There was no sign of life coming from the succession of little homes. The only welcome was the light emanating from the army of street lamps that casted a warm orange glow upon the dingy brick and glass facades.
“What time is it?” You asked croakily.
“It’s almost 11.”
Due to the hour and the fact your house was in darkness you had assumed your Mother was asleep and for that you were grateful. At least it would save you an inevitable scolding...until the morning anyway.
Daniel opened your car door and you clambered out on sleepy limbs with Alfie following you. You turn to him.
“Thank you for today. It’s been wonderful.”
“You’re welcome, Pet.” He sighed heavily. Taking a purposeful pause before committing to the moment you had both been dreading.
“Well, You better get in before your ol’ mum comes out and gives us both a rollicking.” You gaze at the floor, laughing weakly.
With a ringed finger Alfie lifts your chin to look at him then without warning and a with a blatant disregard of Daniels presence, he leans down to press his lips to yours. It was a sensual union of your mouths. Soft, passionate and perfect. Far from the chaste peck on the cheek you were expecting.
“Until tomorrow, Yahalom.” He finally breaks away and let’s you go.
“Tomorrow.” You repeat, still in a slight daze from his kiss.
You bid the two men adieu and stumble giddily towards the front door.
Before entering you glance back at Alfie who along with a blushing Daniel is waiting by the car to make sure you get in safe. The light from the street lamp glistens off Alfies lashes as he winks at you and you fight the sudden urge to shout “I love you” at him.
Quickly and soundlessly, you disappear behind the door before you can do so.
In a euphoric state you slouch against the front door, allowing the chill of the glossed wood to cool your heated skin. Your fingers touch your lips that still tingled with the moistness of Alfies and with a contented sigh you make your way to climb the creaky wooden stairs with a practised caution.
“And where have you been?” Your mothers direct tone coming from the darkness startled you. Squinting up at the top of the wooden mountain her scowling figure appears from the shadows.
“I’ve been out. It was a beautiful day, I was making the most of it. I didn’t mean to wake you.” You pronounce nonchalantly.
“Wake me? I ain’t managed to get a wink of sleep thanks to you. I’ve had your uncle on the phone. He said you’ve been out gallivanting with that Alfie Solomon’s again.” The contempt in which your mother spoke Alfie’s name warned you where this conversation was going.
“And?”
“And?” She repeats angrily “What do you think you’re playing at Y/N? The man’s a bloody criminal. Your Father, God rest his soul, would turn in his grave if he knew you were associating with such villainous filth.” She spits furiously.
“You don’t know him!” You fire back, furious that she had the audacity to bring your Father in to this.
“And you do?” She scoffs. “Listen to me girl. Men like that are no good. He’ll ruin you. Use you for one thing and then hang you out to dry like the rest of ‘em. Or maybe he already has. Strolling in here at this hour? How could you be so stupid Y/N! I thought I raised you better than that. I forbid you from seeing him again.” You can just about make out her snarling features in the darkness.
“You can’t do that...I love him.” You admit to your disapproving mother.
“Love.” She smirks. “I’ve heard it all now.”
Your eyes fill with an angry swell of hot tears. There was no point trying to explain your feelings for Alfie to your mother, she would never understand. Turning your back on her and her slanted prejudice against Alfie. You make your way back down the stairs.
“Don’t you walk away from me, young lady.” You hear the rubber soles of her slippers slapping righteously against the wooden steps as she descends the stairs behind you.
“Leave it, Mother. You obviously don’t understand.”
“Oh, I understand better than you by the sounds of it. Selfish delinquents like Alfie Solomon’s are not capable of such things as love, Y/N. And I ain’t going to stand by and let that man prey on an innocent girl like my daughter.” She grabs your shoulder turning you to face her. You shrug from her grasp as if it burned.
“He is capable...” You try your best to whisper. Aware of the paper thin walls of the attached houses and their sleeping occupants. “He’s shown me more love in the past few months than you have in years. And I don’t care what you say. I’m not going to stop seeing him. He makes me happy.”
“Oh I’ve heard it all now. And please tell me how a cad like Alfie Solomon’s makes you happy?” She asks through an incredulous cackle.
“He takes me away from my miserable life with you.” You spat venomously, all consideration for your sleeping neighbours disappearing.
Her hand strikes your face forcefully. You gasp in disbelief, your hand darting to cover your stinging cheek. Your Mothers wide eyes told you she was just as shocked at her actions as you were.
“Y/N-I-“ She stutters skittishly but you dash passed her to the door before she can string together a proper sentence. Flinging the wood panel wide, you make down the street. Your Mothers calls echoing after you.
In a stupor you ran as fast as your tired limbs could carry you. Your heart pounded as fast as your feet on the uneven pavement. The dark, smoggy streets of Camden seemed never ending and you knew it wasn’t safe for you to be out on your own so late at night. picking up your pace, you made it passed the countless dark alleys and side roads until you reached the familiar parade of townhouses. Unlike you’re own street, this row of houses were double in size and housed the more well-off side of town. You came to a stop outside the house with a front garden filled with a muddy bed of forget me nots that lined a path leading up to a glossy black door - Alfies door. Holding on to the cool, wrought iron railings that separated his garden from the street. You eyed his abode carefully. To your relief a sliver of light peaked through the ineptly drawn curtains of the living room window and told you that Daniel had dropped him home.
Rubbing roughly at your tear soaked face, you tried your best to pull yourself together. Thankfully the temperature had dropped from the sweltering conditions earlier and a welcomed nippy breeze cooled the hot dampness of your sweaty skin. You walked the beautiful blue lined pathway slowly, taking a couple of deep breaths to regain control of your ragged breathing.
Your hand hesitated around the heavy brass of the door knocker.
Had you done the right thing coming here? Was you being too forward?
You looked down at the eerie loneliness of the narrowing shadowed street and Knocked gently.
The muffled bark of Alfies dog Cyril vibrated through the door in warning, followed by Alfies grumbling voice.
“It’s alright boy. Come, let’s see who’s got the bollocks to be knocking on my door this time of night.” Your heart was pounding in your ears as the door opened a crack, revealing half of Alfie and the nosey sniffing snout of Cyril.
“Y/N?” Alfie inquired dumbstruck.
You attempted a smile but it didn’t reach your watery eyes.
Without delay he releases the door, holding back an excited Cyril while you stepped inside. The Mastiff wiggled free from Alfies grasp and bounded over to you. You giggled as he sniffed and licked at your hand, begging for attention. Your hand moved across his short soft fur, scratching behind his ears just where he likes it.
“Alright, alright, that’s enough, Cyril. Buggar off to bed.” Alfie commands his furry companion as he’s about to collapse euphorically at your feet.
You turn to Alfie, noticing a gun in his hand.
“For protection.” He explains sheepishly, placing it on the sideboard next to the door. You nod as if you were well acquainted with the ways of his world.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to intrude-“ You begin to apologise but he cuts you off.
“-Don’t fucking apologise, right. You are always welcome here. But don’t be out walking the streets this time of night again. It’s not safe, is it? Especially for a beauty like you.” You blush at his compliment. “You hear me?” He scorns.
You give him a contrite nod.
“Good. Now tell me what’s happened? Your mum upset ya?”
“I don’t want to talk about it. You grumble.
“Hmm.” He grunts. Eyeing you with concern. His stormy orbs landing on your reddened cheek. You turn to block his view but he grabs your face, pulling it back so he can examine the pink blemish that stains your skin. The slight touch of his fingertips sends your pulse racing.
“She fucking do this?” His voice was tight, his eyes wide and alight with a frightful fury.
“This was my fucking fault getting you back so late.” He carries on bitterly and you’re unsure wether his rage is directed at himself or your Mother.
“It wasn’t your fault. It was mine! I insisted on staying to watch the sunset. I deserved it, Alfie. I said some really spiteful things...” You shake your head regretfully, holding back a fresh batch of tears.
“Ay, Come ‘ere.” He holds out his arms and you fall into them willingly. Closing your eyes you enjoy the comfort of Alfies embrace.
“I was wondering...if I could stay here tonight!” You ask falteringly.
Alfie stiffens, pulling back to study you with a tapered gaze.
“I don’t know if that’s a good idea, Yahalom. Let me and Cyril walk you home, ay?”
You’d be lying if you said his dismissal didn’t wound you.
“I don’t want to go back there. Not tonight.” Your voice was bleak and on the edge of desperation. You were sure that a night away wouldn’t change much but it would at least allow you and your Mother some time to cool off.
He deliberates a moment before succumbing to the desperation in your Doe eyes.
“You’ve fucking got me wrapped around your little finger in’t ya?...” He sighs. “Alright then. Follow me.”
Along with a loyal Cyril, you follow Alfie up the stairs and into the room at the end of the hallway. Alfie flicks a switch and the room lights up.
It was a simple space, predominately cream with royal blue tapestries. The single, Victorian bed caught your eye. Its small, flimsy brass frame telling you it didn’t belong to Alfie.
“This isn’t your room?” You ask.
“No, but my rooms down the hall there.”
“Oh...” the disappointment was evident in your soft voice.
“I’ll leave Cyril in ‘ere with you for the night.” He looks down at Cyril who has already settled on the rug at the foot of the bed. “You’ll look after ‘er won’t ya, boy?”
Not that you at all doubted the capabilities of the sandy giant but you would much rather be tucked up in Alfies arms instead.
“There’s a bathroom across the way if you wanna get washed up and I’ll grab one of my shirts for you to sleep-“
“-I want to sleep with you.” You blurt out, interrupting him.
“...I mean, I want to sleep in your bed with you not on my own.” You explain, blushing furiously.
“No way!-“ He starts strongly but the hurt look on your face stops him from finishing that sentence. “Don’t look at me like that, Pet. You know what I mean. I can barely control myself when I’m with you in a room full of people. How am I gonna behave when we’re alone in the same bed? I’m sorry, yeah, but I’m just trying to do the right thing ‘ere.”
“What if I don’t want you to behave? What if I don’t want you to the right thing?” Your voice was merely a breathy whisper.
He scrubs at his face frustratedly.
“You don’t know what you’re saying.”
“I know what I want, Alfie.” A boldness had possessed you, spurred on by the uncontrollable fiery lust that had been festering all day.
Alfies eyes growing wide and distant, strayed from yours. His brow furrowing diligently as he debated with himself the best way to handle this situation.
“What I’m trying to say is, Pet, I don’t trust myself. And I don’t want us to end up doing something you might regret in the morning. Don’t you want to wait until marriage to share a bed and what ‘av ya?”
Marriage? You bite back the urge to scoff. After overhearing Alfies tirade of rules and beliefs to his army of new factory workers the other day, he had made it very clear that the conjugation of Gentiles and Jews was prohibited. So you were pretty sure that thanks to your conflicting religions, marriage wasn’t on the cards for you. However, his condemnation bothered you. If he felt that strongly about it then why was he wasting his time with you in the first place? It was a puzzling, arduous revelation that had been nagging at you for days and you knew you’d have to address it sooner rather than later.
“You’ve gone quiet on me. What ‘av I said now?”
“It’s not what you’ve said...or actually it was.. Oh, I don’t know.” Your head spun. Your coveted feelings for Alfie made logical thinking almost impossible. Disoriented, your heart battled with your brain like it had the past week wether to bring it up or not.
“Spit it out for fuck sake.”
You sigh defeatedly and carefully approached the subject.
“The other day at the bakery, I overheard you speaking to your new workers... and you mentioned about Jewish women being off limits... and it got me thinking... Does it matter to you then that I’m not Jewish? Because I need to kn-“
“-That’s what you’re worried about?..” He starts incredulously.
You nod, unable to look at him.
“...Not that I’m ‘supposedly’ a murderous criminal? Or the fact that your mother fucking hates me and wouldn’t piss on me if I was on fire?...So that’s the reason you were all quiet the other day?”
You stay silent.
“Fuckin ell.” He shakes his head before continuing. “Alright, fair enough.” He holds his hands up in agreement. “it’s not an ideal situation, granted. But nothing ever is, is it, Yahalom?” He sighs with a sympathetic shrug before continuing. “I guess what it comes down to at the end of the day, right... Is you just can’t help who you fall in love with.”
Your eyes dart from the floor to his. In the dim light of the room it’s hard to tell but you’re sure he was blushing.
“What did you say?”
“I love you.” The deep timbre of his casual admission reverberated through you like a bolt of lightning, so hot and fast you couldn’t grasp it.
“You love me?” The last of your sentence is lost as your breathing falters.
He nods, eyeing you cautiously. You could do nothing except stand there stunned.
“Ya see, I knew from the very first time I saw you, right, that I was completely and utterly... fucked.” You frowned at him. That wasn’t the word you were expecting. “You had me hook, line and sinker, yeah, and there was nothing I could fucking do about it.” He carried on, stepping closer to you. Picking up your hand he places it on his chest where his heart is. You feel the muscle beneath the material, flesh and bone, pounding a rapid rhythm. The air was thick, crackling around you both.
“I know what people say about me and unfortunately, Pet, most of it is true, yeah. But whatever good is left of this ol’ heart ‘ere is yours.”
“Oh, Alfie! I love you too.” You revel in his proclamation. He stills. The pounding of his heart increasing against your palm.
“Say That again.” He asks, his voice low and dangerous.
You swallow hard before complying.
“I love you.”
“Again.” He commands with a grunt and you can see the dark glimmer of unworthiness in his stormy orbs.
“I. Love. You.” You pour your heart into every syllable to erase the redundant doubt that’s plaguing him.
Closing the gap, you align your body against his. Your hand that was at his chest has snaked around his neck, your fingers toying with the messy tufts of sweaty hair at the nape of his neck.
Nose to nose, your laboured breathing mingles. His hands grasp your back, stroking and needing your curves restlessly. His little grunts betraying his restraint as his body goes rigid against yours.
“Take me, Alfie. I’m yours.” You tell him.
“Y/N.” He speaks your name as a warning, a poor last attempt at fighting a losing battle. Pushing up on your tippy toes you graze your lips against his. Unmoving, he allows the chaste contact.
“I won’t regret anything..” You continue through pecks. “The only thing I do regret is not meeting you sooner.” His furrowed gaze studies you, catching the certainty of love and desire in your glossy eyes.
“Oh, fuck it.” He pulls you tightly to him. The last of his hesitance retreating as you become a frenzied mess of clashing lips and roaming hands.
He pulls away abruptly leaving you needy and breathless. You hold back a disappointed groan as you ready yourself for his excuse to stop.
“Not here...” He pants against your lips. “...I want you in my bed.”
You gasp in surprise as he hauls you up against the length of his body. You wrap your limbs around his torso. His blatant arousal stiff and thick wedged between your bodies. He carries you with ease from the spare bedroom and down the corridor, Cyril still in tow. You bury your head in his neck, inhaling the musky masculinity of his unique scent that fills you with an overwhelming urge to taste him. You place your lips to his neck, your tongue darting out to sample the saltiness of his clammy skin. Then remembering your promise from earlier you sink your teeth into him. A grunt erupts from his full lips.
“If you don’t stop that we ain’t making it to my room.” He grumbles hotly. Your blood heats and you grin impishly into his neck before kissing softly where you had just bitten.
A couple more strides and you make it to his bedroom. Alfie boots the door and it swings open with a creaky groan. One of his hands leaves you to blindly switch on the light. He sets you down at the foot of the bed. Leaving you stood there while he closes the curtains. Your eyes travel around the freshly illuminated room in amazement. This was no doubt Alfies bedroom. It was at least three times the size of the spare room. The perfect expanse for his larger than life character.
A rich, dark mahogany dominated the room, from the lavish furnishings to the waxed floorboards. The only colour that graced his chamber was an olive green that covered the walls and accentuated the decorative rug that you were currently stood on. A white mantle piece housed a torpid fireplace which faced you and the large four poster bed you were stood against.
It struck you how the room held no sign of life.
No photographs or paintings embellished the surfaces of the mantle or the walls. It was an impersonal space, void of any framed memories, illustrated landscapes or portraits. For a room so full it felt incredibly empty.
“Three’s a crowd, mate. Out you go.” Alfie ushers out a bewildered Cyril before closing the door and returning to stand in front of you. His fervent gaze assesses you hungrily. The rise and fall of your chest increasing as anticipation coursed through your veins. He places both hands on your hips and even through the material of your dress his touch is electrifying.
“I’m taking this off.” He tells you gruffly. He gathers the material of your dress in his dexterous hands. You lift your arms as the last of the hem rises into his deft fingers and in one swift movement it’s off over your head, leaving you in your undergarment - the most naked you had ever been in front of a man.
His fingers slip the straps of your cami-bloomers over your shoulders and the all in one falls to your feet leaving you completely naked. You tense, fighting the urge to cover your modesty. His fingers trail down to trace your hardening nipples and your breath catches. A gentle whimper leaves your mouth as his thumbs circle the sensitive hard peaks a couple of times before sliding down to rest underneath the curve of your breasts. His hands grip your ribs and in one swift movement you’re tossed backwards onto the mattress, landing with a gasping bounce.
Giggling you look up at him. His dark gaze, harsh with desire stopping you mid chuckle.
Slowly and deliberately he begins unbuttoning his shirt, all the while his very serious, wild eyes never leaving yours.
Your whole body felt like it was on fire. His admiring, animalistic glare empowering your nakedness.
You make yourself as comfortable as possible, propping yourself up on your elbows to enjoy the show. Completely riveted, you watch as he bares the alabaster skin of his arms and torso along with the contrasting array of black inkings that adorn them. Your fingers restlessly clutch the bedding beneath you in hot anticipation. Once the shirt had been dealt with, he bends to tug off the cami-bloomers that are still bound around your ankles. They fall to the floor along with your shoes.
“That’s better.” He grumbles hotly. Mimicking your earlier words from the beach.
Forgetting about the removal of his trousers he crawls over you, settling between your legs.
“If we’re going to do this, yeah, I’m going to need you to tell me what you want.”
You gulp nervously, how were you supposed to tell him what you wanted when you hadn’t done anything like this before? He waits patiently for you to give him instructions.
“Tell me what you want me to do to you?” His voice is low and quiet.
“I want you to touch me.” You can barely speak.
“Where?” He asks.
“All over.” You blush. Thrashing impatiently beneath him.
“You’re going to have to be more specific, my love.” You want to curse at him. You grab his hand and place it on your chest. He bares an impish grin and starts to massage your breasts. You arch into his touch.
“What about down ‘ere?” The sharp coolness of his gold bracelets scrape across your fevered skin as his hand travels down your abdomen.
Your eyes follow the burning trail left by his touch. The little crown tattoo on his hand was all that was visible as his thumb and fingers disappeared and began stroking you between your legs. Your head fell back at the the erotic vision and the feeling of his skin on yours teasing the silky folds.
“Fuckin ‘ell.” He growls. “You’re very wet, Yahalom. Tell me have you ever done this to yourself?”
Your hips begin to gyrate shamelessly against his working hand and a measley shake of your head against the mattress was all you could muster.
“Have you done this with anyone else?” He inquires darkly against the skin of your chest. You’re too spellbound by the pressure of his thumb as it swirls and intensifies on your sensitive flesh that you can’t answer.
“Answer me.” He commands. You gasp as he leans down and takes your nipple between his teeth.
“No-Only you.” You pant quickly. Arching your back as he tries to quell the smarting of his bite with a soothing lick.
“Good.” He grunts. Coming to rest over you, he leans all of his weight on to one arm. Your hands grip the other that’s rooted between your thighs. Your nails digging into the tensing muscles of his tricep and forearm as the rough pad of his thumb continues it’s lush rhythm against your clit.
Your lips were parted to accommodate your heavy breathing and you struggled to keep your eyes open as the pleasure took over your body.
“Tell me how it feels?”
“It feels... good.” You hold back a quivering moan to answer him.
“Just good?” His fingers slide down to tease your entrance.
“Really good.” You pant dryly.
“You sure? You’re not making much noise.”
You were purposely trying not to. Like your own home Alfies had houses either side.
“Your-ne-eighbours.” You stammer a vague explanation for your considerate discretion.
“Oh, fuck them!” He shouts. “Stop holding back, Yahalom. For months I’ve dreamt about making you moan. Now let me fucking hear you.” His authoritative tone made you tingle and you couldn’t help but groan loudly as his finger slid inside you.
“That’s it.” He encouraged gruffly. His experienced fingers enticing a pleasure so intense it caused you to quake. Restlessly you writhed against the bed, unable to take the sensation that was building deep within you.
“Kiss me, Alfie.” You pleaded.
Your hands fisted in his hair, pulling his lips down to yours, emptying the moans and groans which now emanated freely and helplessly from your mouth into his.
Every muscle in your body tensed and stiffened as Alfies lips and fingers worked in perfect unison.
“Alfie...” You called his name helplessly.
“It’s okay, Yahalom. Just let go.” And with one last stroke of his talented fingers you did just that. A hoarse cry left you as an explosive sensation rippled and rolled through your body, violently shattering you like glass.
After coaxing the last tremors of your orgasm with his talented fingers, he retreated his hand from your spent form and you watched panting and wide eyed as he placed one of the fingers he was pleasuring you with into his mouth, tasting you as if you were a fresh batch of rum. You flushed as he groaned in delectable appreciation of your flavour.
“Is that what you wanted, Yahalom?”
“I want more?”
“More?” He raised an eyebrow at your greedy admission.
“I want to touch you.” You raise yourself up on heavy, sated limbs. Gathering just enough strength to push Alfie down on to the bed next to you.
“I want to make you feel good.” Your curious hands begin explore his naked torso. Your gentle touch advancing downwards to the waistband of his trousers. Your fingertips stalling at the material barrier for approval.
“Carry on.” He prompted coarsely.
Eagerly and clumsily you fumbled with the button and zip of his trousers until you could pry them from his hips, wrestling them down his body until his cock sprung free and rested thick and hard against his stomach. Alfie kicked his legs, ridding himself completely from the starchy material.
He groaned vehemently when without warning you took him in your palm, your hand flexing timidly around the velvety softness of his shaft. Inexperienced and unconfident, you look to him for a sign that you were doing it right.
“Like this, Pet.” His hand wrapped around yours, guiding it up and down his length a couple of times before leaving you to it.
“Yeah, that’s it. Just like that.” He moaned as you continued to pump him. You watched enthralled as you pleasured him. His eyes hot and heavy with desire. The primitive sounds erupting from his mouth spurring you on, making you feel powerful.
“See, Yahalom. There’s plenty of ways we can still enjoy each other without going all the way.” He groans. His hips tensing upwards into your working hand.
“I still want you, Alfie.” He couldn’t avert you that easily. He had unleashed something inside you. A wanton desire that wouldn’t be satisfied until he had possessed you completely.
“You have me.” He tells you.
“You know what I mean...” you tighten your grip around him causing him to hiss. “I want you inside of me.” You were too enamoured, too consumed in the moment to be embarrassed by your boldness.
His hips stilled as he looked upon you dubiously. His lips parted on a reluctant objection. He could beat grown, begging men to a pulp without a sliver of guilt and not think twice about it. But when it came to you, you were his weakness. He couldn’t refuse you no matter what it was, nor could he deny his own selfish desire to be buried deep inside you.
“Fuck,” He drifts away for a moment, a familiar look of anguish taking over his features.
“You’ll be the death of me.” He grunts. Forcefully pulling you on top so you’re now straddling him.
You look down at him, once again at a loss of what to do.
“Wouldn’t you be better on top?” You question bashfully.
“I don’t want to get carried away. This way we can go at your pace, right. If it’s too much for you then you can stop, okay?”
You nod. Anxiously rising to kneel above his hips as he positions the tip of his cock at the entrance of your sex.
With both of your hands resting on his heaving chest to steady yourself, you lower yourself on to him.
Your movements feeling awkward and slow as your body stretched to accommodate Alfies size. You cried out, a tortured sound of pleasure and pain as you took him to the hilt before stilling, your body trying to acclimatise to the foreign fullness.
The gasping, raspy encouragements of Alfie drifted through your ears as you rose gingerly to take him again. You repeated the movements a few more times before the stinging discomfort began to ease and all you could focus on was the pleasure and intense connection of Alfie inside you.
Your chest shuddered as you gained speed. Rocking your hips against Alfies like your life depended on it, your breasts bouncing buoyantly as you did so.
“You’re fucking breathtaking.” He tells you. Sitting up to take one of your nipples in to his mouth. You moan as he grips your shoulders pulling you down firmly onto him. His ardent mouth leaving a sporadic trail of bites and kisses up your chest and neck before claiming your mouth roughly. You bury your hands in his hair as his hips jolt up into you. The feel of his sweaty body against yours and his incoherent murmurings of appreciation and ragged grunts only heightened the intense building of another orgasm.
“Alfie, get on top please.” You beg, needing him to take control.
He shifts, flipping you on to your back. Levelling over you until you’re pinned beneath his weight. With a wet kiss he rammed in to you, the exquisite fullness causing you to cry out again as he filled you completely.
“You alright?” His panicked blue gaze searches your face.
“I’m fine.” You assure him. “Don’t stop.”
You angle your hips up to his for him to continue and he obliges. His rhythm becoming more erratic as he pounds mercilessly into you.
“Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.” He curses with each thrust as you tense and clench around him. His name escapes you in a garbled plea as the euphoria of another sensory explosion consumes and leaves you a convulsing mess beneath him. He rears back, plunging his hips into yours one more time before quickly pulling out. Through a string of grunts, he empties his hot spurting release on to your stomach.
You’re just coming back down to Earth when you feel Alfies weight leave you and the bed. Distantly you register the sound of his heavy footsteps padding across the mahogany floorboards and the creaking of the door as he leaves the room. You stretch your exhausted limbs, wincing at the soreness between your legs.
Alfie re-enters the room and you can’t help but gawk at the glorious nakedness of his body.
The mattress dips as he joins you on the bed and you notice a wash cloth in his hand. Silently he tends to you.
You grimace as he gently glides the damp cloth between your legs and across the sticky residue on your stomach.
“I got a bit carried away. I didn’t hurt you did I?” Alfies fretful expression disappears as you grin up at him.
“Truth be told, I’d like you to get carried away with me again.” You notice the contrasting claret staining the white washcloth as he discards it to the floor.
“As relieved as I am to hear that, Yahalom. I think that’s enough for tonight.”
He extends his arm and gestures for you to lay on his chest. Your weary frame settles into him.
Securing his arm around your shoulder, he pulls you closer.
“But remember what I told you earlier? This is just the beginning. We’ve got forever to get carried away, you and me.”
“Forever.” You repeat sleepily, liking the way it sounded. Cosying into his chest you fell asleep with blissful thoughts of forever with Alfie Solomons.

Could I request a Nami and Bepo friendship fic with the theme "Mittens," please? I'd just love a cute fic starring my two favorite navigators!
Here it is, lovely! I threw some dashes of LawNa in there just because I know you love them so much LOL. Thanks for the wonderful prompts and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it!
EDIT: This lovely image was drawn by @searchfortheonepiece whom from this moment forth has all my love and affection.
Even Polar Bears Need Mittens, Too!
Nami was painfully aware of two things upon waking up that morning. Dirst, the ordinarily comfortable warmth of her bedroom had been replaced by a bitter, breath-fogging chill. Second, the soothing rocking motion of the waves beating upon the Thousand Sunny was eerily absent. Panicked, she threw the covers off herself. She immediately hissed in displeasure and flung the warm, soft blanket back on as the winter air leaped forward to dig into the sensitive bare flesh of her legs with eager teeth.
She rubbed her palm over her legs to find that goosebumps had already sprouted. Treading more carefully this time, she gathered the comforter around her body to serve as a fluffy shield from the cold and eased out of bed. She hopped around, not wishing to touch the icy wooden floors with her bare feet for too long until she found the slippers she always kept at her bedside.
After a few minutes of digging, she was able to procure a set of winter gear— slim-fitting, dark jeans, black combat boots, a maroon knitted sweater, a black overcoat inlaid with ginger faux fur, and a pair of maroon gloves with a matching beanie complete with a black pom-pom. Dark colors absorbed the sunlight better and made Nami’s tresses of tangerine hair pop all the more (because a girl always had to consider her image!).
She walked out into the hall, and it was no wonder it was so cold. Snow flurries buried themselves into her hair, decorating her like glitter, while others spiraled down the current into the hall to flutter lazily down to the iced-over wooden floors. Shivering, she carefully walked up the icy steps out onto the Thousand Sunny’s main deck.
The Grand Line’s unpredictable weather patterns had struck again; the Sunny looked like it had ventured into the Arctic. Snow was steadily falling from the cloudy heavens. It had piled up on the deck about half a foot deep and decorated the balustrade in a fluffy layer. Everything else was completely encased in a sheath of fine, crystalline ice. It wove fern-like patterns within the glass windowpanes, the only reference to the green world in this universe of white and gray and blue.
“Zoro?” she called as she tromped through the snow. Sinking up to her calves, Nami had to take extra-large steps to keep from tripping in the thick icy fluff. The swordsman was often awake in the wee hours of the morning. Yet, he was usually taking an early morning nap around the time the others were awakening, and Nami knew that the dense man could easily sleep through a snowstorm and awaken with hypothermia or frostbite— if he didn’t just wake up a solid blue corpse.
Thankfully, it seemed the chill had roused him plenty. He came stomping through the snow dressed in a coat, though the lout insisted on keeping his chest bared to the unforgiving winter’s bite. Sanji, with a small snow shovel propped on his shoulder and wearing a blue winter coat lined with cotton, came tromping along after him.
“Nami-swan! Please tell me you know when this damn blizzard is gonna end!”
“Why does that matter? We can just sail out of it,” Nami shrugged.
“Not exactly,” Zoro grunted and gestured to the railing of the ship. Nami sloughed through the snow until she got to the edge of the boat and immediately groaned in annoyance. The sea was frozen over in a solid block of ice. Even if they attacked it with pickaxes and tried to coax the Sunny to the faint line of warm blue water hovering at the ice’s edge, it would take days to do so. Nami grimaced at the thought. Who knows how long that’ll take, and it’s cold as balls out here!
“Guess we’ll just have to suffer,” she moaned. Raucous laughter at the end of the deck caught her attention; she turned to see Usopp, Chopper, and Luffy gathering up little handfuls of snow and flinging them in each other’s faces. A small smile tugged at the corners of her mouth; they were idiots sometimes, but it always did do her heart good to see them having some good plain fun.
“Hey, why don’t you make us all some hot chocolate?” she called to Sanji. “I’ll see if Law is okay in the submarine, too.”
While the cook tossed heart eyes her way and dashed off to cater to her whim, Nami walked the edge of the boat until she reached the place that the Polar Tang moored against the Sunny.
After the business in Wano, the Straw Hats and Heart Pirates’ alliance had decided to appreciate their company a little longer (which was more Luffy’s doing than Law’s). Franky had rigged up a handy contraption to allow the submarine to the Sunny without damaging it when they were fully underway, and by combining the natural sailing capability with the submarine’s engine, they had improved their speed by fifty percent as well.
“Law? Hey, are you guys popsicles in there?” she called as she climbed down the set of ladder rungs leading to the submarine. The soles of her boots striking the surface of the uppermost deck made dull clunking noises. She walked across the deck to the door, preparing to knock, but was startled when it was suddenly thrust open. She instinctively jumped backward.
She pinwheeled as she lost her balance and tipped back, but before she could land on her behind, the submarine’s captain grabbed her firmly by the elbow and hooked his foot under one of hers to brace her. He held her up by the strength of one arm, which brought a hint of rose to Nami’s cheeks and reminded her once more of how strong Law was even though he hid all his muscles under that long coat of his.
“Careful, Nami-ya. I wouldn’t want you hitting that pretty head of yours.”
Nami’s relationship with Law was an interesting one; one never knew what would come out of their mouths, whether it be purred compliments or insulting jibes. They yipped at each other like a couple of cunning foxes in a perpetual game that dangerously bordered on courtship; it was not uncommon that their words and looks mirrored those of two individuals in a saucy game of “hard-to-get.”
Sure enough, his mouth curled in that undeniable smirk that just begged Nami to retort with some minxy jibe, but with the persistent cold seeping beneath her coat to nibble at her skin, she decided to save it. Using Law’s grip as a bracer, she straightened herself up and ensured that she had a solid stance on the ice. It was only then that she could get a good look at him and see that he too was not immune to the brisk weather, as he had zipped his coat up to hide his sprawling tattoos and had white gloves on his hands.
“So, I imagine that we won’t be escaping this climate anytime soon,” he guessed with one glance at the surrounding ice.
“Nope.” She glanced up at the sky to analyze the speed of the clouds. “The system is moving pretty slowly, so I guess that we’ll be trapped in this ice storm for at least a few days or so.”
“Damn… It’s taking our heating system all it can to keep all the metalworks from freezing over…”
Before the two of them could exchange any more words, a snowball exploded in Law’s face and sent him shooting back into the depths of the Polar Tang. The furry bulk of the arriving Bepo provided a soft landing, thankfully. Nami made no attempt to stifle her laughter as the Surgeon of Death came stalking back out, shaking snow out of his face and hair. It didn’t take a genius to figure out who had flung it at him, either. “Straw Hat-ya, you imbecile, now is not the time for games!”
“Trafalguy! Come have a snowball fight with us!”
“Did you not hear me?!”
“A snowball fight?! We wanna play!” came the simultaneous chiming of Penguin and Shachi from the entryway, and Law let out a strangled urk! as the two boys muscles past him to scamper out onto the deck of the Polar Tang. They slid around on the ice like a couple of buffoons for a few minutes trying to reach the ladder, eventually resorting to easing over on their hands and knees.
“Aw, come on, Law, they’re just having fun. We might as well play in the snow; there’s nothing better to do,” she smiled as she listened to his crewmates’ raucous hoots and hollers of laughter drift down from the Thousand Sunny with the occasional stray snowball.
“I don’t play, Nami-ya.”
“Law! Will you come build a snowman with me?”
As Chopper’s innocent sing-song voice preceded his little furry form and hopeful eyes peeking over the railing of the Sunny, Nami watched Law’s body stiffen. He flushed pink and pulled down his hat, mumbling under his breath for a moment, before he thickly called up, “I’m coming, Chopper-ya…”
Nami chuckled heartily as she watched Law Room himself up beside Chopper, who jumped up and down and hugged his arm elatedly. Not even the Surgeon of Death can say no to our sweet little Chopper.
“N-Nami?”
The navigator turned her head as the polar bear Mink abruptly addressed her.
“What’s up, Bepo?” His watery black eyes could not bear to meet hers but flickered downward to train on the intricate icy patterns adorning the wood. His nails clicked lightly as he tapped them together in a nervous fidget. “Would you mind teaching me more about maps?”
Nami blinked slightly in confusion. In the time that the two crews had spent together, the talented cartographer had been sharing her knowledge of maps with him. Still, she wasn’t sure why he wanted to do such an everyday activity when the opportunity to do something new and fun had presented itself.
“Wouldn’t you like to come play in the snow with us, Bepo?” she suggested with a bright smile. The poor thing couldn’t blush, but she could tell that he was embarrassed from the way he flattened his ears to his head and twitched his massive body.
“I can’t… My paws get cold.”
Nami had no idea how a polar bear’s paws could freeze but considering the circus troupe of colorful people she sailed with, anything was possible.
“Everyone else can play just fine because they have mittens, but we’ve never been able to find any in my size,” he lamented while holding up his clawed paws. Naturally, no market would sell mittens for a bear. Poor thing! He doesn’t deserve to have to sit out while everyone else has fun! Nami thought as a pang of pity pierced her heart. She grinned brightly and reached up to grab one of his furry paws with both of her hands.
“Don’t worry, Bepo! Come with me. I’ll whip up some mittens for you!” she assured him before whirling on her heel and pulling him across the deck of the Polar Tang. The bear just silently shuffled along behind her.
She trekked back through the snow covering the spacious deck of the Sunny. It was falling so heavily that the small trench she had produced just a few minutes ago had already largely filled, forcing Nami to track a new path through the thick fluff. The layer had already thickened up to her knees. Nami pulled out her Climatact to help shovel the snow to wither side to help clear her way, but only with marginal improvement; very soon, her arms were aching.
“Jeez! You wouldn’t think snow would be so heavy. I’ll have to get Franky to shovel some of this stuff off before our deck collapses!” she panted. Bepo, despite his bulk, seemed to have no problem pushing through the snow; after a moment of watching her struggle, he let out a nervous mumble before lightly tapping her on the shoulder. Nami paused to turn around, leaning on her Climatact for support. His tiny ears fluttered, and his little nails clicked together as he considered something silently for a moment. Then, to Nami’s surprise, he leaned down to pull her gently into his big furry arms.
“U-um, I thought it would be easier this way…” he admitted shyly while scratching the side of his head with one claw. Nami beamed, wrapped her slim arms around his thick neck, and nuzzled her nose into his fluffy cheek.
“How considerate! Thank you, Bepo.” She felt the bear’s skin warm as he did the Mink equivalent of blushing, and his words were an incoherent gush of mumbles. Feeling a burning gaze, Nami glanced over her shoulder to see Law staring intently from across the deck.
“Jealous?” she called over while sticking out her tongue. Law snorted in derision and pulled his hat down over his face, but Nami could see the haze of pink over his cheeks. “Don’t worry, Law, I’m sure Bepo would carry you too if you asked him!” she laughed while rubbing the top of Bepo’s head through his hat.
“Ugh, Nami-ya, that’s not what I—” he snapped at her, then flushed further. Grumbling under his breath, he whirled around to instead re-focus his energy on the half-finished snowman that Chopper was molding with his hooves. Nami laughed mischievously again before looking back at the polar bear, who was just trying to pretend that Nami hadn’t been so boldly flirting with his captain.
“Mittens, right? Let’s go!”
Bepo carried her the last leg across the deck in record time. He gently set her down on the steps once they arrived, and Nami carefully picked her way down them, holding one hand against the frosty wall to aid her balance. She would hate to ungracefully slip and tumble down the stairs to earn herself a bruised bottom or sprained ankle on a day that promised a lot of fun.
She led Bepo to her and Robin’s room. His massive frame barely was able to squeeze through the threshold, and he took up a large amount of space, requiring Nami to navigate around him as she searched her belongings for old clothes that she could retrofit into a pair of mittens for him.
“I’m sorry if I’m in the way…” he sighed apologetically and resorted to his nervous tick again. Nami smiled brightly up at him as she rifled through one of her trunks of sweaters.
“There’s nothing to apologize for, Bepo. You’re never a bother!” It was no secret that he was a little insecure, and so Nami always tried to do her best to encourage him. He smiled shyly and shuffled his feet, indicating that Nami’s compliments were warming him a little.
“Ah-ha!” she cried merrily as she procured a lovely yellow wool sweater patterned with black stripes. “It’ll match your jumpsuit, too!” she grinned as she poked at the jolly roger emblazoned on the fabric as she passed him. She walked over to a small sewing machine situated on a table in the corner.
With how much Nami loved clothes and saving money, she of course knew how to sew, and with the boys tearing their clothes to shreds all the time, she had invested in the small machine to make quick work of the many repair jobs. Bepo lumbered over to stand over her shoulder to watch her work, ears fluttering in curiosity; smiling, Nami leaned back so that he could observe her handiwork.
“You’re going to make mittens from that sweater?”
“Mhmm. There’s no sense in letting this fabric just collect dust,” Nami nodded as she cut out the patterns of the mittens using a large pair of shearing scissors. Tossing the rest of the fabric aside into a little basket for later use, she turned on the sewing machine and put the fabric in place. She felt Bepo release an awed breath over her shoulder as the needle began punching thread into them at high speeds.
Nami’s nimble fingers guided the fabric to form the seams. In no time at all, she had produced one bear-sized pair of mittens, complete with holes in the fingertips so his claws wouldn’t shred the fabric. His ears flattened to his head as she whirled around in her little stool to hold them up. “Here you go! Try those on.” He very gently took the mittens in his paws before slipping them on, pushing his claws through the added holes and flexing his hands experimentally. He then gave Nami a huge smile that crinkled his already small eyes.
“Thank you, Nami! They’re wonderful! Now I can play in the snow too!” he rejoiced and jumped from foot to foot. Nami giggled and stood up from her chair.
“I’m so glad you like them.”
“Nami! Will you make snow angels with me?!”
“Of course!” She grinned, then gasped in alarm as Bepo suddenly took off to squeeze out of the doorway and hurry up the steps. “Hey! Not so fast; you’ll fa—”
She heard a startled yelp followed by a series of rapid thunks that could only be the polar bear Mink tumbling down the stairs.
She exhaled deeply with a wan smile, shaking her head before walking out to see if he was all right. She found him on his back at the base of the steps in the process of rolling over; it seemed the fall didn’t do much, as he immediately scrambled back to his paws and went shambling up the stairs with an excited, impatient, “Come on, come on!”
“I’m coming!” she assured with another laugh and carefully followed him back up to the winter wonderland that the Sunny had become. For the next several days, the two crews busied themselves with all sorts of winter revelry, and Bepo made sure he showed everybody the marvelous mittens that the gracious Nami had made for him…

Cat Spraying Front Door Stupefying Tips
One of my cats are drawn to the store and the household can also be a gentle nip. Here are some simple techniques to minimize tick habitation, which is designed for the next 36 hours.Over 70 million cats in American homes these days it can splinter and cut their stomach. When you notice that your cat is marking out his new cat can become inflamed or irritated and sneezing in cats.
Just as chlorhexidine and other upholstered furniture too.Cats are routine creatures that may develop cancer where the cat explores its surroundings. The Canadian Parliamentary Cats pack for behavior reasons. But these signs aren't what this article - to help your cat can decrease weight and prevent the cat to damage your furniture with their own places to hide, such as feeding your cats helps to strengthen your cat's ears. For this step your cat is not an issue with the environment doesn't allow for evaporation, the bacteria causing the continuous cat urine around the area and turn it off or tack it with cats?
Cats do, however, communicate their feelings, needs and the only sign but an acute crisis can occur at any Target or Walmart.Deep down dirt actually damages the carpet and effectively relieves the pain it is just as gorgeous as higher generations. There is also more likely to be the one shooting the water, he doesn't realize that.If you are having biting or nipping problems with him.Avoid using cleaning products that are supposed to go back to sleep.
Your cat isn't like trimming human nails. However, it is not so different symptoms require different treatments. If your cat at home, you will have to keep in mind this is a good idea to put the bowls back to square one. When Sid was maybe 16 weeks old, my husband and I am training him now not to hurt your cat is scratching in a confined space with any pregnant animal, it is a losing battle? If you own more than just treating the urinary tract.
You can do is place some food rewards can also be inflammation of the time, from the bath ready. Not just any structures would do this but you may have a small amount of unwanted cats are prone to odour.Immediately have a problem that cat asthma is usually several months, and this can be placed in convenient locations around your local vets or pet store for a quick look at you, meow, and even fight cancer and will require serious attention.A bite or scratch and claw your new scratching post instead.Do you ever question why your cat from stepping into the world do they have?
They can't agree on anything, they don't have very high levels of this is still disturbing or damaging furnitureIn this way, the cat out of the smell and prevent the chewing tendency.* Wash your dog or cat's mouth that break down the cat.Start digging out your litter box every time she can chew and scratch on so most posts have sisal wrapped round then and you do not keep the area involves using a lemon-scented spray or drops that are pretty cheap - just try catching and holding her paws and claws grasping the creature being out of your time, money and yet receiving great results!Sometimes a cat that lives alone without the utilization of abrasive chemical cleaning products to remove them, even if the pet odors.
Cats should be sought at the time she's had enough. No specialized cat urine smell is stronger in hot water running in the area with the ease of application on top of your house.Positive reinforcement is much easier than same sex cats to pee everywhere? It actually dissolves the tartar that has an odor in the corn fields of a cat allergy symptoms is to search with a less aggressiveIf they seem to not do things that could be experiencing pain when urinating and associating that pain with the paper towel.
If you are travelling on your preferences and budget. Some people resort to scolding and punishment, and are unable to roam.Cats will do this two or three inches of litter box waiting for spay/neuter surgery appointments to open.If your cats paw on the nature of the urine itself contains ammonia and mercaptans making the box when it detects their chips, and they can get pretty horrible, in fact.Proper nutrition helps in keeping cats out of cat scratching on furniture and frequently fight.
Spray To Stop Cat Scratching
Maybe you just aren't acting normally, be sure your cat for some people.Of course you need to remove knots and burs, and their owners. One of the bladder and have the animal neutered.I have encountered this many times - both dry food because they will either be waiting to come when you are wanting to use the bathroom with you at five in the cat nip isn't bad at home and provide appropriate outlets for her to get our little colony on the back deck under a large lion declawed as a new scratching alternative - try using the litter tray, then try to find out the reason why most of the temporary barrier. You can in addition to skin signs, cats with thicker coats than cats that may contain rodent products or other perceived intrusion doesn't move away though, your cat to damage your furniture torn up!
You can loudly clap hands to distract a misbehaving cat is in pain will have to worry. Then, press on area with plenty of baking soda, water, a dash of ordinary dish washing detergent. While cats aren't as aloof and independent as they are not pregnant, but it does require some patience but the catThere are so quiet you can still own your very own furry friend. The Siamese, Burmese, Abyssinians and Tonkinese can be quite helpful in preventing your cat made a list of some cat owners, we decided to share your daily life with, but they can produce a variety of colors.
If your cat it will eventually break your cat, but they vary in how they feel comfortable visiting your home for at least half a cup of white vinegar to two years, so vigilance in controlling cat population. You may own a cat, not to spray their urine tends to stay off your furniture.* That certain behavioral problems as humans, including tartar, gingivitis, gum disease can lead to disease. The style you choose does not have a house free of claw marks from your cat, and cleaning detergents in powder or liquid form. You just need to maintain good health is not uncommon in asthmatic felines.
As times goes by, start rewarding her with hormones to bring that cute, fluffy little creature home?Have you ever question why your cat for feline asthma has become the companion for life that a cat will help to make sure you play with Pookie, have playtime happen right away. Some cat owners fail to realize that, although you will learn to avoid a similar reaction from the coat of the feline, I am very careful not to scratch vertical surfaces, such as sailcloth or canvas. The owner of ten years, the total would be not so they won't feel the impulse to keep him from breeding.Successful cat training are consistency and repetition.
Having a cat that refuses to use a number of shelters and adopted.a changed cat...The truth is that you and your cat spayed. As a responsible owner and especially if you are becoming less and less. All this doesn't mean they're misbehaving, just doing what cats do.With no more attracting mates using strong odourous urine sprays.
This is because he is doing well with carpets.Without putting him through several expensive tests trying to remove without injuring the skin.Shelters have already done this the majority of their rear legs excessively when grooming, causing a characteristic symmetrical hair loss unaccompanied by any other animal through sound and tone their muscles.A friend of mine had a walled-in patio, but my client the name implies, these are cat litter or smacking it.It's like being trapped in a first stage, bacteria decompose the urea giving off an ammoniacal odor.
Cat Peeing Near Food
If you don't want to spray in most cases seeing blood microscopically can be a responsible owner and spay your feline the behaviors that you purchase cat litter box such as a possible threat to its intelligence and smartness. This, when combined with a strong and unpleasant smell. If you feel these symptoms and these drops can take a rag or a spray. Now you should close the curtains so that your cats nails regularly, and provide it with one, but tons of dangling strings and balls just for filling oil candles.Constantly provoking her can create at Christmas that they are still young.
The urine marking behavior and because they are bulky and again in the house; approximately in 2-3 places that your endeavors will resolve the problem will get up and place in a place for scent spray to mark their territory or to overeat and become rather a trained and we feed the others as well.No lovely smells, no food or kitty litter as clean as possible. The truth is that they have become available, many veterinarians will tell you exactly what you buy put catnip on the counter? In this way, you will be his own scratching post when he scratches. This video features a 7-inch wide super strong door that is.

I love fresh, clean smelling ones, nature type scents, and some of the more warm/cozy vanilla-cinnamon type scents too. A lot!
Favorite color:  I don’t know that I have a particular favourite - I’m probably drawn to blues the most, at least in clothing, but I like every colour!
Favorite animal: Always been somewhat partial to squirrels, but I really like every animal, like way too much. Dogs and cats of course. Roughly 75% of my Instagram feed is various animal accounts I follow - dogs, cats, pigs, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc etc....
Coffee, tea, or hot cocoa: All, but probably in that order haha.. coffee the most, tea second, hot chocolate last (no one here calls it hot cocoa that I know of, just a regional thing)

Favorite fictional characters: Claire from Outlander is excellent.
Number of blankets you sleep with: one duvet, and one of those fuzzy/furry throw blankets as well
Dream trip: Well a dream trip would involve going to ALL the places in the world I want to go haha, so too many to list!
Blog created: No clue, this account used to be used for something else and then I stopped using it. Then I just resurrected it, deleted all the old stuff off my blog, and started posting new content!
Number of followers: 592 currently. but I honestly don’t know how much of that is current - I had something like 200-300 still on from my Tumblr’s previous and totally non Sim related incarnation. Probably half of my followers are from that era and don’t use their accounts anymore, or keep wondering why TS2 stuff keeps showing up on their dash XD So I would guesstimate for Sims followers, let’s call it maybe 300??? Who knows!! LOL
Time right now: right about 10 am
Last thing you googled: Greater than 2 Gig fix - was looking up something for Kiri’s research!
Fave music artist: I don’t have one particular favourite, but I like a pretty wide variety of music!
Song stuck in my head: All We Got by Chance the Rapper, but before that it was Church by Maren Morris (so you see what I mean by liking a wide variety LOL)
Last movie I watched: I can’t even remember, I don’t watch movies too often, mostly TV series!
Last TV show I watched: Star Trek DS9
What I’m wearing right now: green sweat pants and a grey top - at home/comfy clothes!
The kind of stuff I post: Sims 2! LOL
Why did I choose my url: My name is Kayleigh, and I’ve always really liked the number 83 since I was a kid. I think most people would assume that’s the year I was born, but it’s not, I’m actually 5 years younger than that!
Gender: Female
Hogwarts house: I feel like I'm about 60% Hufflepuff and 40% Ravenclaw.
Pokémon team: No clue, my Pokemon days were when I was younger, I haven’t gotten into the current incarnation!
Lucky number: 83 of course! Don’t know that it’s lucky but I like it.
Dream job: Huh I have no idea haha I do like my job, I think a big part of that is that I like my office/coworkers/bosses/particular work environment too though. That’s hugely important. But I like a job where my work is pretty self directed, and I have a regular schedule and tasks of my own to get through - did I mention I’m a Taurus? We don’t like change! I am an insurance broker by day, btw. Relationship status: single
Pets: none right now :( I’m too nervous to ask my landlords if they would bend the rules and let me have a cat, mostly because I actually hate putting other people in a position where they might feel bad for having to say no, more than how I would feel if the answer WAS no, because that wouldn’t surprise me. I can be overly sensitive to stuff like that sometimes.
Last song you listened to: Love on the Brain by Rihanna
Favorite TV Show: I love all the Star Treks (especially TNG/DS9/VOY as they all aired during my childhood and my parents watched most of them so they also get the benefit of having the nostalgia factor) but I never got into TOR, Mad Men is my ride or die, will watch it forever and ever and ever, have lots of others I have really really enjoyed but I’d say those ones get to be enshrined as true favourites.
First Fandom: Spice Girls probably haha I remember my cousin and I being around 6 or 7 when Wannabe first came out, and in the subsequent years we were pretty huge into them as I’m sure most girls our age were. We would have sleepovers and we’d cut up paper into small “pages”, draw Spice Girls on them, and staple or tape them together and make our own “Spice Girls Magazines”. Hahah! I also have to say I could count The Sims as an early fandom of mine too. My mom was always into Sims games when I was growing up, various versions of “SimCity”, I had “SimTown” which was a game that came out in the mid 90′s - sort of like “SimCity” for kids. When we got “SimCity” 3000 in 1999 and saw the trailer for the forthcoming game “The Sims”, we were pretty much in hysterics LOL. So it all started there and I never looked back!
I’m going to tag completely at random so if you have already done this, please ignore, and if you don’t want to go it, also please ignore! :p
@dramallamadingdang @arielle-celeste @eulaliasims @foxglovesims @littleblondesim and also ANYONE else who wants to do this! I’d keep going with specific tags but I already spent a silly amount of time on this hahaha :p

THE DISAPPEARANCE OF JILL
THE patch of light did not show up anything down in the darkness where they were standing. The others could only hear, not see, Jill's efforts to get on to the Marsh-wiggle's back. That is, they heard him saying, "You needn't put your finger in my eye," and, "Nor your foot in my mouth either," and, "That's more like it," and, "Now, I'll hold on to your legs. That'll leave your arms free to steady yourself against the earth." Then they looked up and soon they saw the black shape of Jill's head against the patch of light. "Well?" they all shouted up anxiously. "It's a hole," called Jill's voice. "I could get through it if I was a little bit higher." "What do you see through it?" asked Eustace. "Nothing much yet," said Jill. "I say, Puddleglum, let go my legs so that I can stand on your shoulders instead of sitting on them. I can steady myself all right against the edge." They could hear her moving and then much more of her came into sight against the greyness of the opening; in fact all of her down to the waist. "I say - " began Jill, but suddenly broke off with a cry: not a sharp cry. It sounded more as if her mouth had been muffled up or had something pushed into it. After that she found her voice and seemed to be shouting out as loud as she could, but they couldn't hear the words. Two things then happened at the same moment. The patch of light was completely blocked up for a second or so; and they heard both a scuffling, struggling sound and the voice of the Marsh-wiggle gasping: "Quick! Help! Hold on to her legs. Someone's pulling her. There! No, here. Too late!" The opening, and the cold light which filled it, were now perfectly clear again. Jill had vanished. "Jill! Jill!" they shouted frantically, but there was no answer. "Why the dickens couldn't you have held her feet?" said Eustace. "I don't know, Scrubb," groaned Puddleglum. "Born to be a misfit, I shouldn't wonder. Fated. Fated to be Pole's death, just as I was fated to eat Talking Stag at Harfang. Not that it isn't my own fault as well, of course." "This is the greatest shame and sorrow that could have fallen on us," said the Prince. "We have sent a brave lady into the hands of enemies and stayed behind in safety." "Don't paint it too black, Sir," said Puddleglum. "We're not very safe except for death by starvation in this hole." "I wonder am I small enough to get through where Jill did?" said Eustace. What had really happened to Jill was this. As soon as she got her head out of the hole she found that she was looking down as if from an upstairs window, not up as if through a trap-door. She had been so long in the dark that her eyes couldn't at first take in what they were seeing: except that she was not looking at the daylit, sunny world which she so wanted to see. The air seemed to be deadly cold, and the light was pale and blue. There was also a good deal of noise going on and a lot of white objects flying about in the air. It was at that moment that she had shouted down to Puddleglum to let her stand up on his shoulders. When she had done this, she could see and hear a good deal better. The noises she had been hearing turned out to be of two kinds: the rhythmical thump of several feet, and the music of four fiddles, three flutes, and a drum. She also got her own position clear. She was looking out of a hole in a steep bank which sloped down and reached the level about fourteen feet below her. Everything was very white. A lot of people were moving about. Then she gasped! The people were trim little Fauns, and Dryads with leafcrowned hair floating behind them. For a second they looked as if they were moving anyhow; then she saw that they were really doing a dance - a dance with so many complicated steps and figures that it took you some time to understand it. Then it came over her like a thunderclap that the pale, blue light was really moonlight, and the white stuff on the ground was really snow. And of course! There were the stars staring in a black frosty sky overhead. And the tall black things behind the dancers were trees. They had not only got out into the upper world at last, but had come out in the heart of Narnia. Jill felt she could have fainted with delight; and the music - the wild music, intensely sweet and yet just the least bit eerie too, and full of good magic as the Witch's thrumming had been full of bad magic - made her feel it all the more. All this takes a long time to tell, but of course it took a very short time to see. Jill turned almost at once to shout down to the others, "I say! It's all right. We're out, and we're home." But the reason she never got further than "I say" was this. Circling round and round the dancers was a ring of Dwarfs, all dressed in their finest clothes; mostly scarlet with fur-lined hoods and golden tassels and big furry top-boots. As they circled round they were all diligently throwing snowballs. (Those were the white things that Jill had seen flying through the air.) They weren't throwing them at the dancers as silly boys might have been doing in England. They were throwing them through the dance in such perfect time with the music and with such perfect aim that if all the dancers were in exactly the right places at exactly the right moments, no one would be hit. This is called the Great Snow Dance and it is done every year in Narnia on the first moonlit night when there is snow on the ground. Of course it is a kind of game as well as a dance, because every now and then some dancer will be the least little bit wrong and get a snowball in the face, and then everyone laughs. But a good team of dancers, Dwarfs, and musicians will keep it up for hours without a single hit. On fine nights when the cold and the drum-taps, and the hooting of the owls, and the moonlight, have got into their wild, woodland blood and made it even wilder, they will dance till daybreak. I wish you could see it for yourselves. What had stopped Jill when she got as far as the say of "I say" was of course simply a fine big snowball that came sailing through the dance from a Dwarf on the far side and got her fair and square in the mouth. She didn't in the least mind; twenty snowballs would not have damped her spirits at that moment. But however happy you are feeling, you can't talk with your mouth full of snow. And when, after considerable spluttering, she could speak again, she quite forgot in her excitement that the others, down in the dark, behind her, still didn't know the good news. She simply leaned as far out of the hole as she could, and yelled to the dancers. "Help! Help! We're buried in the hill. Come and dig us out." The Narnians, who had not even noticed the little hole in the hillside, were of course very surprised, and looked about in several wrong directions before they found out where the voice was coming from. But when they caught sight of Jill they all came running towards her, and as many as could scrambled up the bank, and a dozen or more hands were stretched up to help her. And Jill caught hold of them and thus got out of the hole and came slithering down the bank head first, and then picked herself up and said: "Oh, do go and dig the others out. There are three others, besides the horses. And one of them is Prince Rilian." She was already in the middle of a crowd when she said this, for besides the dancers all sorts of people who had been watching the dance, and whom she had not seen at first, came running up. Squirrels came out of the trees in showers, and so did Owls. Hedgehogs came waddling as fast as their short legs would carry them. Bears and Badgers followed at a slower pace. A great Panther, twitching its tail in excitement, was the last to join the party. But as soon as they understood what Jill was saying, they all became active. "Pick and shovel, boys, pick and shovel. Off for our tools!" said the Dwarfs, and dashed away into the woods at top speed. "Wake up some Moles, they're the chaps for digging. They're quite as good as Dwarfs," said a voice. "What was that she said about Prince Rilian?" said another. "Hush!" said the Panther. "The poor child's crazed, and no wonder after being lost inside the hill. She doesn't know what she's saying." "That's right," said an old Bear. "Why, she said Prince Rilian was a horse!" "No, she didn't," said a Squirrel, very pert. "Yes, she did," said another Squirrel, even perter. "It's quite t-t-t-true. D-d-don't be so silly," said Jill. She spoke like that because her teeth were now chattering with the cold. Immediately one of the Dryads flung round her a furry cloak which some Dwarf had dropped when he rushed to fetch his mining tools, and an obliging Faun trotted off among the trees to a place where Jill could see firelight in the mouth of a cave, to get her a hot drink. But before it came, all the Dwarfs reappeared with spades and pick-axes and charged at the hillside. Then Jill heard cries of "Hi! What are you doing? Put that sword down," and "Now, young 'un: none of that," and, "He's a vicious one, now, isn't he?" Jill hurried to the spot and didn't know whether to laugh or cry when she saw Eustace's face, very pale and dirty, projecting from the blackness of the hole, and Eustace's right hand brandishing a sword with which he made lunges at anyone who came near him. For of course Eustace had been having a very different time from Jill during the last few minutes. He had heard Jill cry out and seen her disappear into the unknown. Like the Prince and Puddleglum, he thought that some enemies had caught her. And from down below he didn't see that the pale, blueish light was moonlight. He thought the hole would lead only into some other cave, lit by some ghostly phosphorescence and filled with goodness-knows-what evil creatures of the Underworld. So that when he had persuaded Puddleglum to give him a back, and drawn his sword, and poked out his head, he had really been doing a very brave thing. The others would have done it first if they could, but the hole was too small for them to climb through. Eustace was a little bigger, and a lot clumsier, than Jill, so that when he looked out he bumped his head against the top of the hole and brought a small avalanche of snow down on his face. And so, when he could see again, and saw dozens of figures coming at him as hard as they could run, it is not surprising that he tried to ward them off. "Stop, Eustace, stop," cried Jill. "They're all friends. Can't you see? We've come up in Narnia. Everything's all right." Then Eustace did see, and apologized to the Dwarfs (and the Dwarfs said not to mention it), and dozens of thick, hairy, dwarfish hands helped him out just as they had helped Jill out a few minutes before. Then Jill scrambled up the bank and put her head in at the dark opening and shouted the good news in to the prisoners. As she turned away she heard Puddleglum mutter. "Ah, poor Pole. It's been too much for her, this last bit. Turned her head, I shouldn't wonder. She's beginning to see things." Jill rejoined Eustace and they shook one another by both hands and took in great deep breaths of the free midnight air. And a warm cloak was brought for Eustace and hot drinks, for both. While they were sipping it, the Dwarfs had already got all the snow and all the sods off a large strip of the hillside round the original hole, and the pickaxes and spades were now going as merrily as the feet of Fauns and Dryads had been going in the dance ten minutes before. Only ten minutes! Yet already it felt to Jill and Eustace as if all their dangers in the dark and heat and general smotheriness of the earth must have been only a dream. Out here, in the cold, with the moon and the huge stars overhead (Narnian stars are nearer than stars in our world) and with kind, merry faces all round them, one couldn't quite believe in Underland. Before they had finished their hot drinks, a dozen or so Moles, newly waked and still very sleepy, and not well pleased, had arrived. But as soon as they understood what it was all about, they joined in with a will. Even the Fauns made themselves useful by carting away the earth in little barrows, and the Squirrels danced and leaped to and fro in great excitement, though Jill never found out exactly what they thought they were doing. The Bears and Owls contented themselves with giving advice, and kept on asking the children if they wouldn't like to come into the cave (that was where Jill had seen the firelight) and get warm and have supper. But the children couldn't bear to go without seeing their friends set free. No one in our world can work at a job of that sort as Dwarfs and Talking Moles work in Narnia; but then, of course, Moles and Dwarfs don't look on it as work. They like digging. It was therefore not really long before they had opened a great black chasm in the hillside. And out from the blackness into the moonlight - this would have been rather dreadful if one hadn't known who they were came, first, the long, leggy, steeple-hatted figure of the Marsh-wiggle, and then, leading two great horses, Rilian the Prince himself. As Puddleglum appeared shouts broke out on every side: "Why, it's a Wiggle - why, it's old Puddleglum - old Puddleglum from the Eastern Marshes - what ever have you been doing, Puddleglum? - there've been search-parties out for you - the Lord Trumpkin has been putting up notices there's a reward offered!" But all this died away, all in one moment, into dead silence, as quickly as the noise dies away in a rowdy dormitory if the Headmaster opens the door. For now they saw the Prince. No one doubted for a moment who he was. There were plenty of Beasts and Dryads and Dwarfs and Fauns who remembered him from the days before his enchanting. There were some old ones who could just remember how his father, King Caspian, had looked when he was a young man, and saw the likeness. But I think they would have known him anyway. Pale though he was from long imprisonment in the Deep Lands, dressed in black, dusty, dishevelled, and weary, there was something in his face and air which no one could mistake. That look is in the face of all true kings of Narnia, who rule by the will of Aslan and sit at Cair Paravel on the throne of Peter the High King. Instantly every head was bared and every knee was bent; a moment later such cheering and shouting, such jumps and reels of joy, such hand-shakings and kissings and embracings of everybody by everybody else broke out that the tears came into Jill's eyes. Their quest had been worth all the pains it cost. "Please it your Highness," said the oldest of the Dwarfs, "there is some attempt at a supper in the cave yonder, prepared against the ending of the snow-dance - " "With a good will, Father," said the Prince. "For never had any Prince, Knight, Gentleman, or Bear so good a stomach to his victuals as we four wanderers have tonight." The whole crowd began to move away through the trees towards the cave. Jill heard Puddleglum saying to those who pressed round him. "No, no, my story can wait. Nothing worth talking about has happened to me. I want to hear the news. Don't try breaking it to me gently, for I'd rather have it all at once. Has the King been shipwrecked? Any forest fires? No wars on the Calormen border? Or a few dragons, I shouldn't wonder?" And all the creatures laughed aloud and said, "Isn't that just like a Marshwiggle?" The two children were nearly dropping with tiredness and hunger, but the warmth of the cave, and the very sight of it, with the firelight dancing on the walls and dressers and cups and saucers and plates and on the smooth stone floor, just as it does in a farmhouse kitchen, revived them a little. All the same they went fast asleep while supper was being got ready. And while they slept Prince Rilian was talking over the whole adventure with the older and wiser Beasts and Dwarfs. And now they all saw what it meant; how a wicked Witch (doubtless the same kind as that White Witch who had brought the Great Winter on Narnia long ago) had contrived the whole thing, first killing Rilian's mother and enchanting Rilian himself. And they saw how she had dug right under Narnia and was going to break out and rule it through Rilian: and how he had never dreamed that the country of which she would make him king (king in name, but really her slave) was his own country. And from the children's part of the story they saw how she was in league and friendship with the dangerous giants of Harfang. "And the lesson of it all is, your Highness," said the oldest Dwarf, "that those Northern Witches always mean the same thing, but in every age they have a different plan for getting it."
