i was doing some editing on the james minecraft skin i made feckin years ago because i found it and it’s Horrifically out of date (who is this white man with weirdly yellow hair)

but i was once again reminded of how bloody bad i am at costume design because i got to his clothes and just went “uhhhhHHHH”

i think about him nearly every day and i still dont rly know what his clothes look like!!!!! my brain gets overwhelmed and just like. inserts the concept of Clothes™️ with approximate textures and colours

#*deep space noises*#ive looked up so much abt costume design and collected so many images #but i just cant seem to apply it #i think its the layering that trips me up??#like my skylord designs tend to lack jackets #i have no idea how this happened #horus managed to get a coat somehow but its also sleeveless gghlkj #this wouldnt necessarily be a problem but like. skyhold seems chilly #i go for it being climate controlled #but its still going to be nippy up there #james gets cold easily and here he is walking around in Green Top™️ with some leather armour
