Note
#1 Day of asking random shit to blogs I follow because I can and I want to + boredom
Do you have any Undertale OCs and/or your own Undertale AU? If you do, can you explain the lore? :]
I'm more of an AU rewriter actually. I'm taking popular AUs and try to make them more realistic and mature (and more political, I love the Underground politics, that's like my favorite subject).
So far, I'm working on Horrortale with my fanfiction Horrortale : Rotten Apple, which is actually more of a pre-Horrortale fanfiction, since I'm working on the events between when Frisk left the Underground and the famine. So far, it's like 20 chapters and Undyne is still not queen. I want her coup d'état to be violent and the result of months and months of bad decisions, not only her bad decisions, but also Toriel's ones as a ruler. Toriel is not a bad ruler at all, but she is impopular because of her exil in the Ruins and the fact that despite Asgore's death, who was loved by the Underground, she did nothing to prevent something like that to happen again. Undyne being the one Asgore's trained, monsters will slowly turn their back to Toriel, which will have consequences on other characters like Sans, Papyrus, Flowey or Grillby. Frisk is not the one responsible for all this either, as they are trying to save monsterkind in a world where adults don't believe them at all. That's a really difficult story to write, but I'm having so much fun with it.
The second one is Underfell, with my fanfiction No Weakness. It's a Papyrus centric fanfiction that takes place after a pacifist route. Since there's no reason for Asgore to let Frisk live, Frisk is actually still Underground, living the best life with Toriel, and protected by a pact formed by Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton and Alphys. The kid must stay a secret. But after some months, Papyrus is doubting the plan, as not only they could all be executed if something goes wrong, but there's also the problem of Frisk becoming more independant and asking more and more questions, and worse, taking Papyrus as an exemple, which he absolutely doesn't want because he is ashame of what he has to do every day to survive. No Weakness is also about Undyne, who suddenly starts to act strange, which worried Papyrus, until one day, she left the guard. Papyrus is quite distressed and doesn't understand until Asgore announces his soon to come wedding with her on live TV. The only problem being that Papyrus knows Undyne hates him with all of her soul, and that she is not there willingly. But Papyrus is also the general of the royal guard now, and as a general, you shut up and close your eyes on a lot of things. But Papyrus is really not sure he can do that.
The last one is the most close from an AU I guess, it's What is best for humankind. It's a war AU, focusing on Sans and Papyrus childhood. It's an AU because they are a lot younger in the games, so they couldn't live through the war, but I tried to make it coherent. Sans and Papyrus are forced to run away from their village one night, as humans are attacking. Gaster, their dad, being forced to fight, left them escape alone. Sans will have to protect his brother, and soon, a very small Undyne and a human through the devastated lands leading to Mount Ebott. It's both a survival story and a dramatic story as Sans will have to do and witness things he never should have, and face the betrayal of the only person who is supposed to keep him safe, his own father. Because this AU main story is about what being a judge means. In this world, the royal judge is not a job, it's a very rare class of monsters like boss monsters are. Judge monsters are very low HP monsters that can use karma magic, which is the same magic Sans use in his genocide battle in the game. During the war, the Judges, mainly pacifist, all died during the talks for a peace treaty, as the humans saw an opportunity to get rid of them all at once. The only problem being the magic the Judge develop can only activate if the Judge is traumatised and presents a abnormal level of determination. Sans is the only one left, he is not activated, and Gaster wants him to basically explodes in rage in the human castle to kill the Emperor. For this, he knows there's one solution that will sure piss him off enough: killing Papyrus. But Gaster is also the only one who is sure this plan will work, as both Toriel and Asgore are horrified by the idea. To stop the war, how far all of them are willing to go? That's the main story!
My last AU is a more classic one, it's a Sans x Reader fanfiction in a post-pacifist universe, Remember the good days. However, Sans is not exactly himself as he suffers terrible memory loss after a tragic attack during one of Frisk's speech. It's getting worse and worse as Sans is not enough stimulated with Papyrus in college. But Papyrus has a plan. He wants you to stimulate Sans, and he is even willing to pay for that. Surely he told Sans everything before hand and Sans won't hate you at all for this. ... Right?

Sea Of Hope Chapter 8
Previous Next SOH Master Grandmaster
This masterful piece of art was done by @aoi-kanna as a commission. They are truly talented and I appreciate all the hard work they put into making this for me. Go check them out, they are absolutely wonderful!!!
Story below or AO3 above.
~~~
While Axe checked you over, Edge grabbed Red by the back of the neck and stormed down the main hatch, loudly yelling at the rest of the crew to mind their own business as they scurried out of his way. For the most part, Red's protests went unheard as he was dragged down the steep steps. Blue, on the other hand, had hesitantly approached Papyrus, whispering something before they too turned and headed past the hatch, disappearing through a pair of doors into the upper levels of the ship.
The clearing of a throat had you tensing and pressing closer to Axe. Black had once again gotten closer than you were comfortable with, standing only a couple paces away. “AS HEARTWARMING AS THIS IS, IT IS QUICKLY BECOMING LATE AND THE LADY STILL NEEDS ADEQUATE DRESS. MY BROTHER’S COAT IS HARDLY A FITTING SUBSTITUTE.”
Rus chuckled beside him. However, when he made to comment, a look from Black had him looking down instead.
Axe narrowed his sockets. “Don’t know where you’re planning on get’n somethin. Ain’t exactly swimmin in extras and you’ve refused to mend mine so I could give it to her.”
Black scoffed. “YOU FAILED TO MENTION IT WAS FOR YOUR MARKED. YOU HAVE ALSO YET TO COMPLETE THE TASK I ASKED OF YOU. I DID NOT SEE THE POINT IN TURNING IN YOUR FAVOR WHEN MY OWN HAD BEEN UNMET.”
“Been busy.”
“AS WE’VE ALL.”
Something shifted in the air, both of their eyelights brightening. Rus glared, moving closer to his brother. It took Crooks placing a hand on Axe’s shoulder for the two to back down.
“Petty bastard.”
“WHEN IT SUITS ME.” With a flourish of a hand and a half step back, he indicated the direction of the doors, continuing to meet Axe’s gaze. “NOW, I BELIEVE WE SHOULD ATTEMPT TO FIND SOMETHING MORE SUITABLE UNTIL NEXT WE MAKE PORT. SURELY YOU CAN AGREE IT WOULD BE IN EVERYONE’S BEST INTEREST.”
“Fine, but we’re not leadin’.” You could hear the creak of Axe’s teeth.
“OF COURSE.” With a tight turn, Black nodded, marching forward with Rus trailing behind with a wink. "AS YOU WISH."
Axe refused to move at first, tugging his empty socket and prompting a sighing Crooks to nudge you both. "I Know You Don’t Like Him, But He Is Fair.”
“Bastard never does anything fer free.”
“And Yet, He Has A Point.”
Neither you nor Axe was reassured but allowed him to guide you forward regardless. Crewmen brave enough to linger eyed your group with various degrees of emotion. When a dog monster growled, another was quick to slap the back of their head, nervously hunching at a glare from both of your skeleton friends. You tried not to show your fear or your growing limp as you passed, hoping Rus' long coat hid what you couldn’t. It didn't seem like a good idea to show weakness around others. The watchful eyes and aggressive postures spoke volumes to your already heightened nerves. Entering the ship did nothing to ease your discomfort.
It felt cramped and pressing despite having more than enough space and light. Unlike the previous ship, several lanterns lit the expanse leaving no ominous shadows or darkened areas. You could easily see all the doors lining the walls as well as the beautifully carved and decorated windowed doors marking the end of the hall. Rus waited near the last door on the left.
It was calm and warm, but you couldn’t shake off the feelings of danger.
“Ya c’n go inside Darlin. Milord’s wait’n.” Rus stood to the side, motioning you inside the now open door.
You looked to your companions. While Axe kept his eyelight on Rus, Crooks’ soft smile and nod gave you enough of a boost to cautiously cross the threshold. It smelled of lavender tinted with something you couldn’t quite place, the overall size relatively small. What looked like a narrow modified canopy bed connected to the wall was on your right. In front of you, under a single window, was a rather lovely desk intricately carved with polished knobs. To your immediate left was an open decorative chest shoved in the corner. Everything was of exquisite taste and quality, from the bedding and carvings on the furniture to the upholstery on the chair at the desk. The few trinkets left out were of fine gold or silver with glistening jewels.
You jumped when the door closed behind you. Axe nor Crooks had made it inside. It had your stomach rolling with nerves. You did not anticipate having the others closed out. Having Black now between you and the only exit made it worse. His eyelights were too bright.
Didn’t Rus call him a lord...?
Your chest tightened at his approach, making sure to lower your gaze.
“TRUE TO MY WORD, THAT HORROR’S GARMENT HAS BEEN MENDED. HAD I KNOWN IT WAS FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS, I NEVER WOULD HAVE HELD ONTO IT.” In his hands was a large linen shirt, neatly folded and dark in color. Holding it out, he offered it to you. “PUT IT ON. I WILL ADJUST IT AS NEEDED AFTER.”
You froze, intently focusing on the simple article of cloth. Was he expecting you to do it here and now? In front of him? Wasn’t it bad enough you were laid bare in front of all those on the deck, or stars, when you pressed yourself against Blue? At least Axe had good reason to see you. Multiple! To willingly undress now in the presence of a man other than your husband...
By the angel, what would Axe think of all this?
Black must have noticed your silent panicked uncertainty when you didn’t immediately take it. Clearing his throat, something in his tone changed. “I SHALL, OF COURSE, REFRAIN FROM LOOKING WHILE YOU DO SO. YOU MAY LEAVE MY BROTHER’S COAT ON THE CHAIR WHEN YOU ARE READY.”
It was hard not to squirm. While that was greatly appreciated, it still felt uncomfortable. Could you trust his word? You hardly knew the man. Perhaps things may have felt different if the room wasn’t quite so stifling or the door hadn’t been shut so suddenly.
Luckily, heavy thumps in the hall distracted Black enough for him to hand you the garment himself, squinting at the door behind him. He was just about to speak again when another set of thumps sounded, this time shaking the door. Growling, he finally turned when the muffled voices following the noise got angrier.
You really didn’t want to do this right now. Not here. Not with all the uncertainties surrounding you.
Taking a slow breath in, you let it out. The sooner you changed, the sooner you could be rid of these unsettling feelings. With unsteady fingers twitching against the fabric as you took one last glance at Black’s back.
One more breath.
The sound of your rattling bones was louder without the security of the coat. Placing it on the chair, you did your best to quickly dress.
The feeling of fabric against your bones was surprisingly comforting as you pulled it over your head. True to Axe’s size, the shirt almost went to your knees. It was so large the fabric pooled on your much smaller frame and reminded you of the nightgowns you used to wear back at the manor.
If only it wasn’t so short.
Though your more private areas were covered, it was not good for a lady to show so much… leg. You tugged at the hem, the sleeves threatening to engulf your hands.
“I’m dressed, my lord.”
A calculated breath was your only answer before his eyelights found you, fuzzy with a slight warble. You had to second guess if you had seen them correctly, for the next moment they were back to their bright and sharp orbs. Getting closer, they traveled over you as he hummed, the heel of his boots clicking as he circled. If you had hair, it would have stood on end at the subtle brush of his hand against your back.
“AS I EXPECTED.”
You startled, yelping when he came around to lightly grip your hips. Instinctively, your hands came to your chest from the forwardness, sockets wide. He paid no mind, eyelights intent on the bunched fabric. He only let go to pull a satin rope from his pocket.
You squeaked again when he reached around you to wrap it around your waist.
“MUCH BETTER. HOWEVER," His gloved hands touched your elbows, slowly moving up your arms to grasp your hands for inspection. “YOUR MAGIC. IT IS MUCH TOO THIN…” He turned them over. “Hmmmmm. Knowing Him…”
Your chest clenched. He was close enough you could feel his ambient heat and wisps of breath.
Before Black could say or do anything else, his door nearly burst off its hinges, a very aggravated Axe forcing it open. Black pulled you into him with a snarl, eyelights vanishing with the click of his teeth. Stuck in a headlock was a disgruntled Rus, resigned to the hold around his neck.
You didn’t know if you could physically handle any more stress.
“BY THE ANGEL, YOU WILL REPLACE THAT LOCK IF YOU HAVE BROKEN IT!”
Axe’s voice was low, grin tight as he took in the scene. “Don’t appreciate the closed door, Black. Hell ya think yer doin’ in here?”
Black placed you behind him, grumbling a growl. “AS I STATED EARLIER, I HAVE GIVEN HER SOMETHING TO ADEQUATELY COVER HERSELF UNTIL WE CAN PROCURE SOMETHING MORE FITTING.”
Axe narrowed his sockets at Black’s squared shoulders. For a split second, you could see the red orb of his eyelight flick over the man in front of you before it focused on you.
“Sure that's all ya were doin’?”
The fabric of Black’s gloves creaked. “IF YOU MUST KNOW, I WAS INSPECTING HER MAGIC FLOW. I’M NO EXPERT, BUT EVEN I CAN TELL IT’S RUNNING LOW. A MORE IMPORTANT QUESTION WOULD BE, WHY HAVEN’T YOU—”
“I’ve been doin’ exactly what I need ta be. Don’t need ta explain myself either.” Rus stumbled into the room when Axe unceremoniously released him to motion to you. “Now, if yer done?”
With a snarl, Black pointed a finger. “NOW SEE HERE YOU–”
Instinctually, you reached out, stopping just before Black’s arm. “My lord, I!” You faltered at his abrupt attention, pulling back to dip your head in respect. “I thank you for your kindness, but I should return to my lord husband before any more misunderstandings occur.”
His eyelights stuttered. “I, I BEG YOUR PARDON?”
There was a beat of awkward silence before Axe broke into heavy laughter, the loudest and deepest you’ve heard from him. It was enough to warm your cheeks as he beckoned you out and away from the room. Black gaped, slack-jawed and sputtering as you passed. You were already being guided onto the deck by the time he was able to call out one last time from his doorway.
“AXE! YOU WILL… THAT… YOU WILL EXPLAIN YOURSELF!”
Axe only laughed harder, closing the doors behind you.
The sun had mostly set by the time you stepped out into the humid sea air. You would have done anything in the past to be able to look up, out, and around but Axe was swift in guiding you down the main hatch. You didn’t want to linger longer than necessary anyway.
You didn’t have Rus’s coat to hide under.
You were grateful for the darkness once you were under. The lanterns were farther spread, some empty of light altogether. It helped ease your mind against the wandering eyes. Most gathered under the brightest lamps, playing cards at makeshift tables, drinking, and socializing while others lounged in hammocks hanging interspersed between the canons. While some watched you pass, Axe was surprisingly good at slipping through the darkest areas to avoid the unwanted attention.
The closer you got to the front of the ship, the fewer people there were until you came upon barrels and crates stacked near and around an area quartered off by familiar heavy sheets. You could even recognize the stack you and Blue had hidden next to, the sheet on that side still halfway pulled down. Axe was kind enough to hold the flap for you to enter.
Finally, you were able to relax the tension out of your shoulders and pained joints. You wanted to climb back into the hammock and rest your aching pelvis, maybe snuggle against Axe and his warmth. The way he moved about though had you gingerly sitting on his stool, setting it upright from where it had been knocked over.
You wondered when that had occurred. What happened after you had been taken?
...
A quiet curse had you looking back at Axe as he re-fastened the makeshift wall. There were a few more rips in it than you remembered. If he had any sewing supplies, you would have to mend them. It was the least you could do as thanks.
You let out a slow breath, peering down at your clenched fists. They were cold and stiff on your lap. Black had been interested in them. The lot of them had been interested in general, but he had seemed so focused.
Your voice was soft, hesitant as you summoned the courage to speak. “Axe? I have so many questions, but I’m afraid… I don’t know if I’m allowed to ask.”
Axe chuckled. “Don’t gotta be afraid with me, Dove. It’s good ta ask questions around here. The more ya know the better, good or bad. Don’t let anyone tell ya otherwise.”
You picked at the hem of the shirt, smoothing it down as much as you could. “Is that true?" Axe simply grunted. Collecting yourself, you forced yourself to ask the questions burning your mind. "What is a Banthos? What does it mean to be one? And what did Black mean when he said my magic was too thin? I don’t have magic. I’m not… I’m not even a monster.”
It was hard not to flinch when, from your peripherals, you saw him stop. His voice had become more serious but thankfully still soft.
“The hell yer not. Listen, I don’t know what you’ve been told, where ya come from, or what ya been through. But you’re as much of a monster as the rest of us. You’re made of magic and hope just like me.” He came over to place your hand in his scarred one, taking a knee to look directly into your sockets. “We’re the same. Dust and all. It don’t matter about anything else. As fer your magic,” he rubbed his face with a frustrated sigh, “let me worry about that. Just know ya got it and I’m gonna make damn sure ta get it where it needs ta be.”
You didn’t know what to say to that, but it sent a comforting feeling to your chest. He was always so warm. It reminded you of your mother.
Nodding, you were about to ask about your first question when footsteps interrupted you. Axe stood, moving between you and the flap.
“AXE, IT IS GETTING LATE. I HAVE TAKEN THE LIBERTY OF PREPARING SANS’ ROOM FOR THE LITTLE MISS. I HOPE YOU HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN.”
Axe only slightly relaxed at the sound of Papyrus’ voice, not moving but calling out to the other skeleton. “I can take her when we’re ready. Just got a few–” he bristled when Papyrus entered and smiled down at you, hand twitching at his side –“more things ta take care of.”
“AND WHAT MIGHT THAT BE SO I MAY HELP?” When Axe only grumbled, Papyrus took it upon himself to continue. “WELL, WHILE YOU FIGURE THINGS OUT, I SHALL MAKE SURE TO GET HER SAFELY TO HER NEW LODGINGS.”
You both tensed. “Papyrus. Paps. At least let things settle before ya drag er away. You saw Sans. I don’t trust him.”
Papyrus looked a little sheepish at the accusation. “I UNDERSTAND YOUR CONCERN, BUT I HAVE FAITH THAT THIS WILL WORK. I MYSELF WILL KEEP AN EYE ON THINGS IF I MUST. He Means Well. NOT THAT, THAT IS AN EXCUSE FOR HIS TERRIBLE BEHAVIOR.” He came forward to place a hand on Axe’s shoulder, humble and pleading. “WON’T YOU AT LEAST TRUST ME?”
You couldn’t place the look that crossed Axe’s face from the question, the red orb of his eyelight quaking until his free hand brushed the edges of his empty socket. “That’s cheat’n…” There was a heaviness to the silence.
When Axe’s shoulders sagged, Papyrus gave him back his space. “All WILL BE WELL. I’M SURE OF IT.”
You were uncertain as to what you needed to do, but before you could stand, Axe nudged you back down. With the reluctance of a stubborn cat, he then went about gathering items he had deemed yours, going so far as draping his favored blanket over your shoulders. When all was said and done, you were left with a surprisingly intricate box full of puzzles, Axe’s blanket, and an affectionate nuzzle to your neck.
It was with a heavy heart and a glowing face that you eventually followed Papyrus back out into the darkness.
You did your best to keep up with his long strides, missing Axe’s purposely slowed gait. You could feel the grinding strain on your pelvis and lower joints with each step. You focused on the clack of your feet to keep your mind off the aching. Papyrus was already several steps ahead of you when he got to the steps.
Blessedly, he turned to wait for you.
It was embarrassing how out of breath you had become from such a short distance, especially when you knew you didn’t technically need to breathe. You were even more so when Papyrus cocked his head to look you over with a contemplative hum.
His smile was kind. “MY APOLOGIES MISS. I KNEW YOU WERE IN ROUGH SHAPE, BUT I HADN’T REALIZED…” He glanced up the steps. “PERHAPS IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR ME TO HELP.”
Without so much as a warning, he picked you up and draped you across both of his arms. You almost dropped your box, squeaking in surprise as he ascended to the deck. Your mind and tongue had stopped working from the suddenness. Though Axe had carried you once before and had moved you a few times, you didn’t quite know what to think of this stranger picking you up so nonchalantly. It was as if it was the most normal thing in the world for him, smile just as polite and kind as before.
With him carrying you, it took little time to cross the rest of the way back through the double doors and down to the end of the hall. Standing in front of the windowed doors, you were only jostled a little when he turned the knob. He used his boot to kick it open the rest of the way with a bang, making you flinch when the glass shook precariously.
You thought you saw a flash of blue, but when you looked, there was nothing there but a railed raised platform with an extravagant-looking bed, windows lining the entirety of the back wall.
You shuddered. It smelled overwhelmingly of snow and cold rain.
Scrunching his nasal ridge, Papyrus walked around a heavy round table with a scattering of papers and a lantern. Stepping onto the platform, he carefully set you down, turning to furiously rip the blankets off the bed to ball and fling them across the room with a fwump.
“FORGIVE MY IDIOT OF A BROTHER. I WILL BE HAVING A TALK WITH HIM ABOUT APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR LATER. FOR NOW, I’M AFRAID THIS WILL HAVE TO DO. AT LEAST THE BED IS EXCEPTIONALLY COMFORTABLE.” He put his hand down to pat the mattress. “IT IS A GIMBAL BED, MADE WITH LARGER MONSTERS IN MIND SO YOU WILL HAVE PLENTY OF SPACE AND WON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE TIPPING OF THE SHIP.”
When you didn’t move, he gently ushered you to sit before making his way to the windows. It was so dark now that the light from the lamp effectively turned them into mirrors. You were grateful, too afraid to look through them. To your relief, Papyrus closed the many curtains for each once. Once done, he gently took your box and stood at the end of the bed, bowing slightly from the waist.
“I WOULD STAY TO HELP YOU SETTLE, BUT I UNFORTUNATELY HAVE OTHER DUTIES I NEED TO TAKE CARE OF AT THIS TIME. BUT DO NOT FEAR, I WILL MAKE SURE SOMEONE WILL BE BY IN THE MORNING TO BRING YOU SOME TEA AND BREAKFAST AND TO WELCOME YOU.” Walking away, he stopped to place your box on the table and extinguish the lantern. “SLEEP WELL MISS.”
With a wave, he picked up the bundle of discarded blankets and walked out the door, closing it behind him.
…
It was frightening, alone in the dark.
Someone.making S/O cry UT,UF,US,HT
Hi! This one was fun to write. I think my favorites were the HorrorTale brothers they have fun personalities.Requests are open! As always I hope you guys enjoy!
Tumblr media
Undertale: Sans: He's not happy to say the least. He stands by you and frowns at the dude his usual smile no where on his face as he sizes the guy up. Trys to diffuse the situation and tells the dude to basically fuck off but he's ready for a fight if it comes to that. He'll have a comforting hand on your back rubbing small circles and shapes into it. He trys to distract you with his puns and jokes and takes you somewhere comfort to chill for a bit.
Papyrus: Oh boy. Papyrus is immediately lecturing the dude about how that isn't nice and you shouldn't make people cry. You will be getting an apology he won't be satisfied until you do. After an apology is delivered Papyrus himself apologizes to you for the situation and whisks you away with the goal of cheering you up. He takes you somewhere he knows you like and hopes to create a good memory to replace to old one.
Underfell: Red: First reaction is anger he's ready to go if someone made you cry. He goes in yelling getting in the person's face, he doesn't get physical right away more standing in front of you and the person protectively to create distance. You might have to reel him in because he won't back down he will die fighting for your honour. He's in a grumpy mood the rest of the day but he's still pretty sweet to you just bitey towards other people.
Edge: Death glare shuts the person up real quick and has them going pale in fear. He separates the two of you roasting the person while he does and simply leads you away reassuring you that that trash has no idea what garbage he was spewing.He gets you a little treat and treats you extra sweet the rest of the day careful of your feelings. He's a bit more protective of you and glares at anyone who interacts with the two of you the rest of the day, which he normally does cause he has a resting bitch face but this time it's on purpose.
Underswap:
Stretch: Hates confrontation but he won't stand for this. He comforts you wrapping an arm around your shoulder while making a snide remark about the person more complaining to you loud enough for them to hear. He then leads you away needing to remove himself from the situation as well as you before his emotions get the better of him. Takes you home and trys to take your mind off of everything by goofing around and doing stupid things like shoving whipped cream in his nose and having it come out his eyesockets. It's uncomfortable but if it makes you laugh it's worth it.
Blue: He steps in and separates the two of you quick. Stands in front of you and very politely tells the person off and to mind their own business before doing damage control and getting you out of there. He talks to you gently and reassures you while trying to take your mind off the situation with some spontaneous activities. He's determined to turn the day into a positive one in the end.
HorrorTale:
Axe: He doesn't really remember what was happening before this but all he knows now is his mate is crying and he's absolutely glowering at the person who did it while standing behind you. He sets a hand on your shoulder gently to comfort you while scaring the ever living shit out of the poor sap who made you cry. For the rest of the day Axe brings you little items like rocks or pretty leaves and items that bring him comfort hoping they'll help you feel better.
Willow: He is immediately at your side with comforting and reassuring words. He picks you up and removes you from the situation, his biggest concern is pacifying you at the moment. He says the other person needs to be taught manners and if he wasn't so concerned with you they would have a very lengthy lecture to listen to right now. They would too, he's just an older version of Papyrus with way more anxiety he would have bitten into them with a nice lengthy lecture and then proceed to think about it for the next few months at 3 am when he can't sleep.
Two for the price of one
Small drabble for @ancha-aus 's new au ! Double Noot ! Or as I like to call it, Noot² ! :D
( part 1 by ancha, read it before reading this one maybe- )
Very short but I just wanted to make a little something because I find the concept particularly funny :')
I didn't go too deep into the lore since the story didn't really start yet, I just did the "encounter" with the gang so that's why it is INCREDIBLY short like fr and also because I underestimated how tired I am
Quick summary: Corrupt gets separated from Nightmare (Passive Nightmare, who is still six years old), everyone is confused
Tw: slight mention of miscarriage and pregnancy denial (ik it's weird lmao but dw there is context)
Tumblr media
How did this happen ? How did they end up here ? Like this ? How did they end up with a child on their couch when they went out to fight the Star Sanses ?
None of them was speaking, just looking at the little skeleton with lavender eyelights on their couch, the little skeleton looking terrified. They couldn't blame him, who wouldn't be after all ? He appeared.. no, came out of Corrupt, in the middle of a battle field, almost got shot with an arrow, was brought into a new place and was now surrounded by five skeletons: one with four massive tentacles, one with empty sockets and black tar leaking from them, one with a big glowing red eye and a hole in his skull, one you couldn't see his face apart from two piercing mismatched eyelights, and one with a knife almost as big as the child. He had every right to be terrified.
Killer was the one to break the silence first.
- Sooooo... Poptart ?
Corrupt looked up after a few seconds, realizing that Killer was talking to him when he saw everyone's gaze locking on him. His gang, or mates as they called each other, didn't like the name Corrupt, it had a bad connotation, one that meant that he was inherently bad, that there wasn't any good in him, which, to them, was completely false, so as they started dating they also started giving him nicknames, two that came back very often were Poptart and Sweetpie. Corrupt struggled to get used to it, being more accustomed to being insulted, just like the villagers always did. But did they insult him ? They insulted Nightmare, they insulted that little child sitting in front of him, but he wasn't Nightmare, so was he really insulted ? It didn't matter, Dream insulted him too after all, and he wasn't aiming these insults at Nightmare, but at him.
He looked at Killer, waiting for him to say whatever he had in mind.
- Why didn't you tell us you were pregnant ? Or at least tell Horror or Dust cause judging by the kid's eyelights it was one of them who got you pregnant, cause blue and red makes purple so...
Saying that Corrupt was taken aback would have been an understatement, and it didn't help that they were all staring at him, waiting for him to confirm what Killer said. The child, despite still being tensed, was visibly confused as well, but not for the same reason, because he was pretty sure he wasn't anybody's kid, and especially their kid. He would have remembered it.
- I wasn't pregnant.
Corrupt answered after a moment, making Killer frown, doubting the statement.
- Isn't that called a pregnancy denial ? I mean we didn't see you gain weight either so...
Cross asked, a little unsure of how to tackle the subject, he never had to deal with a pregnant monster before, and maybe denials were a sensitive subject, he didn't want to upset his mate by being too straight forward.
Corrupt looked at them, disconcerted.
- I wasn't pregnant, I have never been pregnant, Nightmare was.. I thought.. he was supposed to be dead !
He argued, but he only gained a compassionate look from his mates. Killer put a hand on his shoulder, looking way more serious than he was accustomed to, and he heard Cross mumble Nightmare's name.
- It's okay Poptart, you could have told us you thought you had a miscarriage, we would have supported you, you know..
Horror nodded from behind Killer, and Corrupt knew Dust thought the same even without looking at him.
- For God's sake Killer, I was not pregnant !
He claimed again, wanting to end this nonsense before it got uncontrollable. Killer was about to respond when they heard a sob. They all turned in sync, and saw the child, Nightmare, with tears rolling down his cheeks. He didn't like the yelling, it brought back too many bad memories, memories he would have preferred to forget. Corrupt shrugged to get Killer's hand off of his shoulder and went to the child, kneeling to be on the same level as him, and carefully wiped his tears with his thumb. Nightmare flinched, backing against the couch's case, but he didn't chase Corrupt's hand away.
- Hey I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled.. we're not gonna hurt you, you're safe here, you don't have to be scared..
Corrupt apologized, speaking with a soft tone to try and sooth the little one.
Nightmare looked at the goopy skeleton in front of him, still sniffling, but, somehow, he had a vague sense of déjà vu... something in him told him he had already heard those words, already felt this magic... the four white skeletons were new, that he was sure, but this black one, he was familiar...
- If you weren't pregnant... then where does he come from ?
Dust asked, sitting on the other couch, his legs still being sore from the fight. Horror had joined him, Killer and Cross were still standing.
Corrupt sighed, standing up too but staying next to the child who was now only staring at him, trying to remember where he saw him.
- That's Nightmare, the.. the true guardian of negativity, the one who allowed me to come to life by eating the apples. He started to explain as simply as he could. I.. thought he had died in the process, but turns out he was still there, just.. dormant, and invisible..
- But why show up now ?
Killer asked.
- I.. honestly, I don't know, but he's here now, and it's better he stays here.
Corrupt answered. Nightmare frowned, looking at the adult. He gave him life by eating the apples ? He did remember eating the apples from his tree, he remembered the villagers and the pitchforks, he remembered someone told him to let go when he took his first bite, they told him they would protect him, but he had to give up his mind and body. At that time, Nightmare didn't think much, he was already so scared, he would have done anything for someone to fight for him, to protect him, and when he heard this voice, he knew it was his only way out, and he gave up everything, his vision fading to black as he felt everything become numb. This skeleton had the same voice, and he was emanating negativity, a pure one, the same that emanated from his apples. Was he the voice ? He seemed so big... not as big as the other skeletons, but much bigger than him, especially with those tentacles coming from his back. Nightmare remembered his back hurting a lot more than the rest of his body, was it because of the tentacles ? They seemed to be heavy... he slowly reached out to the one that was the closest to him, putting his hand on the appendage, it was surprisingly soft and a little cold too... he felt the negativity swarm up around his hand, resonating with his own...
Corrupt looked down when he felt the child touch his tentacle. He didn't move it, letting him discover it as he pleased.
- So.. we're just gonna take care of a kid now ? Not that I want to abandon him, I sure don't, but.. are we qualified to do that ?
Cross hesitantly asked, tugging on his jacket. This castle was full of dangerous things for a child, and they weren't the most welcoming monsters either, even if he knew no one would hurt Nightmare, maybe he would be better with someone more qualified, like a Toriel or even an Asgore, monsters who had the parental instinct in their codes...
- We'll have to be..
Horror quietly said, looking at the little child on the couch, he had the same amazement in his eyes when looking at the tentacle that his brother always had before the famine took hold of everything...
Killer and Dust shared a look, not sure that they could raise a child. They raised their brother, but it ended up... pretty badly, they weren't sure they could raise someone properly after that. Cross was different, sure he killed his brother too, but he lived through so many different timelines, so many in which he was a good brother, in which he actually was caring until the end, he could manage to raise a child if he wanted to, if he trusted himself enough to do so, but them ? They would probably need to keep their distance, at least for a moment, at least until the kid started to learn how to fight back.
- I trust you all to look out for him, every one of you.
Corrupt assured, looking at his two mates from whom he had felt a peak of negativity. He knew what they were thinking about, but he also knew they wouldn't be a threat for the child, the simple fact that they felt apprehension from the thought of doing so alone was enough proof for him.
- For now he needs a bath, he said, Nightmare's bones and clothes being stained from the goop, I'll take care of it. Killer, you can go with Cross in Littletale and gather some clothes for him. Be careful not to be seen, we don't want the stars to know about that.
Killer nodded after a brief look to the child, and him and Cross disappeared in a portal, going to complete their mission.
- What about us ?
Dust asked.
- Horror can go cook dinner, with an extra dish, and you go to the infirmary and heal yourself, don't think I didn't notice you couldn't move your arm.
Dust didn't respond, only looking down in shame, he thought he hid it well...
Corrupt sighed, turning his attention to the little skeleton once they were alone. Nightmare had looked up when Cross opened the portal for him and Killer to leave, clenching on the tentacle, and was now staring at Corrupt, alert.
- Who... who are they... ?
The child hesitantly asked in a whisper, his voice quiet as he hadn't used it in five hundred years. He already knew who Corrupt was, he said it, but who were the others ? Were they the surviving villagers ? Would they try to finish the job ? What did they want from him ? Why bring him back with them ? Surely it couldn't be good, it has never been good when someone wanted him to stay somewhere...
- They are my... my partners, they have been working with me for many years, they won't harm you, I trust them. You can trust them, too, and if anything, I'll be here to protect you.
He tried to explain as simply as he could. He felt Nightmare relax a little, even if he could still feel his fear deep inside his soul, the child seemed to believe him, maybe because his feelings were clear and not tainted with mischief or bad intentions, or because Nightmare remembered who he was and knew he could at least rely on him a little.
Corrupt knew Nightmare wouldn't trust them straight from the beginning, but if he at least believed they wouldn't hurt him, then it was a good start, because now that he was here, Corrupt would never let him go out. He needed to protect him, he swore to him that he would protect him from the very moment he came to life, it was his whole purpose.
He wouldn't fail.
Tryin to find a specific undertale fic-
SO!!!
From what I remember- it was a oneshot self-insert where Sans became… aware? I can’t remember if the “insert” made him aware or if he had already had a bit of an… idea?
But basically Sans realizes that when saying “y/n” he… doesn’t actually know what he’s saying. It’s YOUR NAME, but… when written he just keeps writing “y/n” or sum.
Basically I think he has like a whole breakdown? Realizing he doesn’t ACTUALLY know “y/n” “e/c” “f/c” or whatever other abbreviations there are. He knows that whatever he’s saying IS your name/eyecolor/hair color/etc… but that… he can’t write them down. He doesn’t actually know. You… don’t actually exist??
I really wanna find it again, or any fics that covered that if there were multiple, but I fr cannot find any.
Ain’t no damn way I’m the only one who read that, and I sure af could not have possibly dreamed it in such detail as I recall.
Future Ch.17 WIP for "The Skeletons and The Overseer"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is my type I fear, your honor.
Tumblr media
Hot skeleton men bound and gagged.
Actually giggling and kicking my feet while working on this
But yeah, lil teaser for what's to come this weekend, almost finished writing chapter 16 and 17, so I'll post them together since it flows better that way.
The summary? Lilly has like 5 mental breakdowns in one day and goes absolute sicko mode on some people for chaining up her the boys.
Monsters have been out in the open world for 2 years. You've just graduated from Medical school and finding a job is harder then it seems. After being hired scarily fast at a clinic near your neighborhood, you seem skeptical until you meet everyone. They seem... nice enough? What has you most interested is the skeleton brothers, family friends of the owner. More specifically, the older yet shorter brother of the two. The entire monster race is an interesting phenomenon. Held together, kept alive by the strings of magic? Seems odd enough that gives you the need to investigate, after all, you're more logical then believing in "magic" straight away. But the history behind them is anything but pretty. Can the monsters prove their humanity? Can you stay on their - his good side?
What are the skeletons opinions on horror games
ooooo!! First ask, hi!! I'll go down the VERY long line LMAO
Classic: Thinks they're neat, doesn't play them often though. He's just kind of busy all the time with the machine and lowkey taking care of like. 14 idiots in his house, but he does think they're cool I feel like he would like One Night At Flumpty's if you know what that is!! or JR's!! Not really a horror game, but i think he'd like "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes"
Papyrus: Think's they're super interesting but can't play them LOL. He'll watch Youtubers play them and loves watching the other skeleton's play them, but if he feels like a jumps scare is coming, he's defiantly covering everything but the youtuber's face-cam or just watching whoever's reaction. I think he'd like.. Indigo Park and Security Breach. I feel like he'd appreciate the bright colors and minimum scare-ies :)))
Blue: LOVES them but is very quiet about it!! He definitely would've liked JR's and Poppy Playtime, probably Indigo Park, too. Not a big fan of gore tho!
Stretch: can't handle horror games at all LOL. Loves horror movies and books, because he can detach himself and laugh at their stupid choices, but when it's HIM?? ..NAH. but!! again, not really a horror game, but i think he'd also like "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes"
Helvetica: Generally just doesn't horror games scary?? He just doesn't find them worth his time for the most part. He works a LOT and gets plenty thrill from night rides on his bike, so horror games are just kinda. eh. i feel like he would like that one game where your a 911 dispatcher though
Malvery: ALSO LOVES HORROR. Def a big Puppet Combo guy, defiantly likes creepypasta, also?? FNAF?? for sure. I feel like he liked 3 and sister the most, maybe 6 too! Doesn't find horror scary at all.
Red: Oooo he liked horror games, even if he doesn't play them often. He doesn't care for real loud or gorey games (other than Dead by Daylight, he fucking LOVES that game. i feel like he would like res evil too, but i havent played it so idk) but i feel like he would LOVE games that just.. put you on edge. Like. Phsycological horror. Little Nightmares type shit. He def loves LN. Also likes Puppet Combo.
Edge: Genuinely just doesn't play them, but I think he would like "We Harvest Shadows" and 'Doors.'
Lust: Likes them fine, but really just likes the character designs more than the actual games. Security Breach and Sister location are probably some of his favorites just because he likes drawing them outfits. Loves the lore ab Dress to Impress though LOL
Dezi: Doesn't like horror. Doesn't really have a tolerance for it, doesn't enjoy it. He will make outfits and cosplays though for fans and he enjoys it. I feel like he'd like DDLC though
Dust: Also a Puppet Combo fiend, tries to get Dyrus to play with him. Also a big creepypasta fan, really fucks w the Slenderman and Siren Head games
Dyrus: Terrified of Siren Head specifically do not even play with him, he will haunt the shit out of you. Doesn't really like horror, but likes watching the others play. Liked Indigo Park, i feel :)))
Hop: Nah. not his thing. thought Sister Location was cool tho
Tango: Also a nah, but he really likes dating sims and will play the spooky ones.
Cosmic: Not technically horror but i feel like he'd like subnautica and lost in space games. The ocean is something that's just kind of.. incomprehensible to him, and the stars remind him of home sooo
Orion: likes mechanical games!! Help Wanted's vent repair and animatronic matnience would be RIGHT up his ally! Also subnautica and space games for the same reason as his brother
Mars: yes and no. some can trigger him really bad so he usually avoids them, but he likes FNAF
Jupiter: honestly really likes farming games. he doesn't care much for horror but sees it as a challenge!! Probably would like We Harvest Shadows and Pumpkin Panic
Keigo: Oh, horror FIEND. Played and loved every single fnaf game, loved Little nightmares, liked poppy playtime and indigo park. They will get him a little jumpy though!! cares a lot about audio!! the music in JR's and LN is what MADE it for him
Apollo: he thinks they're really fun but certain sound design can REALLY set him off. Like little nightmares' sounds are SO good but would trigger the shit out of him.
i think thats all!! wow that was a lot LOL
hello!! since you did them for classic, fell, and swap, can I request SFW and NSFW headcanons for horrortale too?
Thanks for requests!! These are a tad shorter but I wanted to post something even though I'm lacking motivation, seasonal depression is hitting hard this year folks anyways hope you enjoy I just did Axe this time I'll get around to the papyri eventually.
Tumblr media
🪓Sfw🪓:
•He has very animalistic tendencies. Growling, purring, chuffing. Marking you and things with his scent and having you mark his things with your scent for him. He likes to sunbathe too, really likes the feeling of the sun warming his bones.
•Carries around your favorite snacks. He always has snacks on him but he makes sure to stay stocked up on your favorite and hands them out generously if he thinks you need to eat.
•A big cuddler physical touch helps ground him to the surrounding area if he's comfortable with the person so he likes touching you in some form but cuddling is his favorite. Specifically you in his lap while he wraps around you.
•Quality time is also a big thing he really just enjoys being in your presence. He can lurk behind you while you do whatever you need to do and he'll try his best to help if needed but he may not be the best help.
•Likes to hold your hand while out in public, so he doesn't wander off which he's prone to do and because of the earlier mentioned reason of grounding him. You help him alot with staying calm.
•He writes about you quite often. He has his own journals dedicated specifically to you and writes down everything he doesn't want to forget which is well everything he wants to remember all of you.
•Dates with him are pretty much at home or out in nature. Somewhere you guys won't be bothered by a lot of people basically. He just doesn't like crowded areas and well people stare at him and it makes him uncomfortable. He'll try and plan some cutesy dates and he'll leave reminders for himself and you around the house in sticky notes about them.
🍋NSFW🍋:
•Breeding kink. He never thought he'd have the chance to have children and when something is taken away you realize how badly you want it. So he has a big breeding kink.
•Size kink, he's a big boy and he likes seeing the difference in him and his partner. He looms over practically everyone so any sized partner really does it for him. He does enjoy plush partners because he likes having that softness to grab onto and it means they have access to food often.
•His ecto body is pudgy and his cock is 7.2 inches (big boy ) and girthy. In femme form he's still pretty chubby and has an outtie pussy and G cup tits the biggest out of the Sanses.
•His favorite position is doggy style or the mating press as they're both optimal for breeding and he enjoys the closeness. He's gotta be careful with his size though.
•He normally tops and is a gentle sometimes teasing Dom (he's still sans) because of his size and he doesn't want to really hurt you. Content to lay back and let you do all the work though as well he likes watching you stuff yourself full of him.
•Hematolagnia, or a blood kink, he likes the taste, the sight, the smell. He just likes blood. Of course this was gained over enduring his underground but people cope in different ways and his was developing a kink. He wouldn't hurt you unless you're into that and then he's still hesitant to go past some harsh biting and scratching. If you have periods period sex is a great way to compromise on his kink with him and he really enjoys it.
Your meat isn't dead, it's still moving
Hi :D I'm here for another fanfic for @ancha-aus :D
But this time it's for the Ghost & Medium AU !
This fic takes place after Dust met Killer and Cross, and it is now time to meet Horror !
Tw: mention of death, forced starvation, sect, Killer flirting
Tumblr media
- Stopping for a little snack ?
Dust's passenger asked as he stopped his van in front of the butcher's shop. He didn't even look at him, knowing he would see Cross grinning at him, well, not Cross, his body yes, but Cross wasn't in his body anymore, Killer has possessed him when he was supposed to be exorcized, and now he followed Dust anywhere he went. Cross was there too though, his spirit sitting on the back of the van, clearly displeased by the whole situation. Ash, Dust's ghost brother, was next to him, squinting disapprovingly at Killer like he always did when he flirted with Dust.
- I'm here for work.
- Oooh can I-
- You can't come.
Dust cut him before he could ask. He heard Killer whine but he couldn't care less, he couldn't take him with him, judging by what the butcher said the ghost haunting the shop wasn't a normal one, he couldn't risk bringing another inside without first making sure that it was safe, aside from his brother but he had a necklace to protect him, and even if it was a normal ghost he really didn't want Killer to bother him.
- You're not alone, you have Cross, talk to him.
He reassured the ghost.
- I don't want to talk to that body thief.
Cross said, still bitter about the whole possession thing. Dust could understand, he would be mad too if someone possessed him to go flirt with a random guy.
- You both stay here.
He commanded as he grabbed all the material he needed to communicate with the ghost, closed the van and went to the shop, Ash following him.
From what the butcher said over the phone this ghost had been haunting his shop for about two months now, they would throw the packages off the counter, slam the walk-in fridges' doors, detach the pigs' and cows' pieces from the hooks and generally just throw food around. Nothing weird so far, just a regular poltergeist, but what seemed off to Dust was that the shop had been there for years and it was the first time something like that happened, and no one had died in or near the shop these past few month, so that meant the spirit came to haunt this particular place, just like Killer did with the last house he was in, and seeing how it turned out, Dust wanted to be extra careful with this one.
The butcher was in front of the door, waiting to greet Dust.
- Ah ! You're here, perfect ! I hope you can do something about this.. haunting thing, I'm starting to lose customers and I can't afford to lose my business.
Dust saluted him with a nod.
- I will do everything I can.
- I don't doubt it. The keys are on the door, you do your things, I have a delivery to make so you can just leave them in the mailbox once you're done.
Dust nodded again, watching the butcher get in his own truck before sighing.
- Alright, let's see who's inside..
- IF IT FLIRTS LIKE THE OTHER ONE I AM LEAVING THIS PLACE.
Ash commented.
- I hope not, Killer's annoying enough I don't need a second one.
He pushed the door open, closing it behind him. The shop was dark, the curtains were down, indicating it was closed for the day. There was still enough light to navigate though and Dust went directly behind the counter in the staff area, as it was where there was the most activity.
- Hello ? I came here to talk, if you're okay with that.
He choose a table to put his radio and ouija board, looking around, there were pieces of meat everywhere, some scattered on the floor, it looked like an animal came to make a mess before leaving. He didn't see anyone. Maybe this spirit wasn't that strong ?
- IT DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO CLEAN APPARENTLY.
- Ash, please, don't be rude.
Ash huffed but didn't add anything, letting his brother do his job.
- Are you in here ? I heard you liked throwing pieces of meat on the ground, if I put one on the table, could you make it move so I know you're here ?
He asked, but the radio stayed silent and the ouija didn't move.
- I'm going to put his steak on the table, okay ?
He bent down, reaching for a steak that was already on the ground. Just as he grabbed it he thought he saw a glimpse of red but it was gone when he looked up. He slowly stood up, put the steak on the table, and waited for it to move.
He didn't wait long, just as he backed up the steak flew across the room and hit the wall before falling on the ground once again. Dust saw a vague silhouette in front of him, a tall and large one, but he couldn't see much more for now. Dust smiled.
- Hello. My name is Dust, glad to know you're here. If it's okay with you, would you mind telling me your name ?
The silhouette shifted, and Dust saw a bright red eyelight staring directly at him, before disappearing. In the distance, he heard a door shut, probably a fridge as he heard the noise of hooks being moved.
- YOU SCARED IT.
Dust frowned, but ignored his brother. He grabbed his radio and board and went to the fridge, knocking on the door to announce his presence.
- I'm gonna come in, okay ? I just want to talk, I'm not here to hurt you or take your food.
He said, assuming that the spirit's obsession over the meat meant they felt like it was theirs. He pushed the door open, shivering at the change of temperature, and closed it again. He could see the silhouette, this time a little more clearly, sitting in one of the corners of the fridge, all curled up. Dust stopped in the middle of the room to leave space for the ghost, sitting down, he put his material in front of him.
- Hey, sorry if I scared you, I didn't mean to.
The ghost didn't move, but they were staring at him. They looked like a male skeleton monster, with one glowing red eyelight and what seemed to be a hole in their skull, which was most likely the cause of their death as no-one could survive such an injury. But why were they haunting a butcher's shop then ? They were dressed with a big coat, some thicc sweatpants and winter boots.
- Would you mind telling me your name and pronouns so I can know how to address you ? You can use either the radio or the board.
The ghost stayed silent for a little while before muttering something, not using either instrument.
- Horror... I'm a man...
He had a deep raspy voice. Dust tilted his head, he didn't expect this spirit to be powerful enough to speak without help.
- Hello Horror, I'm going to ask you some questions, okay ?
He told him. Horror didn't respond, but he didn't flee either, so Dust took it as a sign he was okay with that.
- What are you doing in such a place ? Did something happen here ?
- There's... food...
Horror answered slowly, searching for the right words. Dust let him speak at his own speed, judging by his injury he probably had trouble speaking, no need to rush him.
- Are you here for the food ?
He asked. Horror nodded.
- I'm hungry...
Dust frowned. Hungry ? Spirits couldn't get hungry, they didn't have any body to feed, Dust should know, he had a ghost brother and Killer almost panicked when he heard his, well, Cross's, stomach gurgle.
- Do you feel hungry ? Or do you remember feeling hungry ?
He asked. Maybe this spirit had been hungry before he died and this feeling made him haunt the shop ?
Horror looked down, thinking about what the medium said. Was he hungry ? He couldn't feel his stomach, it didn't hurt anymore either. Was it because he wasn't hungry ? Or because he became so used to hunger that he couldn't feel it anymore ? He had been hungry all of his life, he knew what it felt like, he had felt it so strongly when he was there, in this dark room, but he didn't feel it now... he didn't feel anything... his head didn't hurt... was he... was he dead... ? Was that what death felt like... ? Was it why he couldn't eat... ?
- Heyyyyy Dusty ! Ya missed me ? Of course ya missed me ! Oh ! Who's that with you ?
An excited voice yelled, followed by another, less excited, voice.
- I tried to stop him ! I swear I did but he wouldn't listen !
Dust let out a loud sigh, not even needing to turn around to see that Killer was behind him with Cross.
- I told you to stay in the car.
- Yeah I know but then I thought you might be in danger, so I came to the rescue !
Killer argued, feeling very proud of himself.
- I am not in danger, Killer.
- Yeah yeah anyway, who's the newbie ?
It was no surprise that Killer could see Horror, as he was a spirit too, and Cross had gained this ability too since he wasn't in his body anymore and had entered the spirit realm.
- He.. doesn't look okay...
Cross noticed, seeing how Horror was still looking at the ground, his arms around his knees, not paying attention to Killer who was now very close to him, crounching down.
- I DO WONDER WHY.
Ash sarcastically said, squinting at Killer.
- You invaded his space without his consent.
- Well first of all it's Killer's fault, and second of all he really doesn't look good, and not just because we're here...
- What do you mean he doesn't look good ? He looks fine as hell. ~
Killer said with that particular tone of voice that always made Ash gag.
- Now's not the time for that, Killer.
Dust sighed again, sometimes he really regretted accepting going to Killer's house, he couldn't even do his job properly now !
- You're new here, huh ?
Killer asked, ignoring Dust. Horror looked up at him, only now realizing that two more persons were here.
- What killed ya ?
- Killer.
Dust got up, ready to grab Killer by the hood to drag him outside if he continued to mess with his work. The only thing stopping him from doing so was when he heard Horror answer.
- ... Hunger... I... died of hunger... I think...
He seemed so unsure that Dust's anger almost vanished. This ghost didn't know he was dead, it was obvious now, he wasn't here to scare people, he was here because he died hungry and wanted to eat, not realizing he didn't need to anymore.
- Ah yes, hunger, I know how it feels.
Killer confessed with a serious tone that almost caught Dust off guard.
- But it's okay, you won't get hungry anymore now, you're free ! You can do anything you want and go anywhere you want !
Horror blinked, still slowly processing the new information.
- I don't know... anywhere else to go...
- Aww come on, don't you got a dream destination ? Somewhere you really want to visit ?
Dust searched through his pockets to find his notebook, wanting to take notes on the conversation as Killer was surprisingly getting better results than he did.
Horror shook his head.
- Couldn't go out... needed to stay.. inside the walls... our leader said... outside was unworthy of.. of our presence...
- THAT SOUNDS LIKE A SECT.
Ash commented, and even if Dust would have preferred him to be less direct, he was right, that sounded like a sect. Was Horror in a sect before ? Did he die of hunger because they starved him on purpose ? Or did he go outside those "walls" and couldn't provide for himself ? Was it how he got hurt ?
- I know it must be hard for you, but would you mind telling us more about your.. your leader and the walls ?
Dust asked, trying not to jump to conclusions by calling it a sect, even though it clearly was.
- The walls.. protected us... Undyne was chosen by the gods... she decided who was worthy... and who was not...
- Worthy of what ?
Killer asked before Dust could.
- Food...
Dust frowned, that explained his choice in the place to haunt.
- Did she say you were unworthy ?
Dust asked softly, talking about death could be traumatizing and his goal wasn't to scare Horror, it was to understand his life, and death, better in order to help him rest, but he needed to ask questions for that.
Horror nodded after thinking for a minute.
- She didn't like... that I questioned her way... she said it was a shame... I had been worthy all my life...
- What made that change ?
Horror shriveled down a little bit more on himself.
- My brother... wasn't worthy...
No one responded to that as they could all imagine what happened. Horror continued.
- We had a room... for the unworthy... couldn't have food when... when inside... couldn't go out...
Dust looked up from his notes. They starved them. They starved Horror's brother and then they starved Horror, and he died of hunger.
- That must have been horrible, I'm sorry it happened to you...
Horror looked up at him.
- But Killer is right.
It pained him to say that, and it pained him even more to see Killer's smug expression.
- You are free now, you don't have to stay here.
- Can... go with you... ? Don't want... to be alone...
- Wh-
- Oh my God of course you can ! The more the merrier come on ! We'll have such a good time together !
Killer responded with excitement before Dust could even say anything.
Horror looked at Killer for a second before smiling hesitantly, quite relieved, and finally getting up as Killer already stood up. He was... tall. Like, very tall. But that didn't stop Killer from smiling brightly.
And then Dust felt it. He felt a link forming, a thread connected to his soul, the thread that formed between a spirit and the place, or person in this case, they haunted. The third thread, not counting Cross as he was still connected to his own body.
His third ghost.
He came here to exorcize the place, and instead gained another ghost.
Well... at least the butcher would be happy.
...
Where was Dust going to find enough place for everyone ? Why did it have to happen to him ?
He already felt a headache coming. God, he really regretted meeting Killer.
