Saint Mary in the Mountains Catholic Church, Virginia City, NV. I had originally intended to use camera movements to correct the perspective of the church but, as I was setting up, the owner of the Jeep came out and started the car to leave. I hadn’t metered yet, either, so I quickly loaded the film holder, set the lens to “sunny 16” and made this shot before the car backed out of its spot and left. I am pleased with the perspective distortion, though, as I feel it has a bit of a Hitchcockian vibe to it.
