god i replayed book 3 a few weeks ago and my reaction to that part was near identical 😭 usually im like. SURELY gustav cant be THAT bad in canon like i remember. surely my brain is exaggerating. and then i open b3 and get suckerpunched with the way he talks to his children

I go back into Book 3. Wondering if maybe. MAYBE. He wasn't As Fucking Bad as I remembered.
