38 Long Colt brass (Starline, QTY 100)
100 factory new STARLINE unprimed 38 Long Colt brass, uses small pistol primers
UNIT PRICE .225 CENTS EACH
HISTORY: The 38 Long Colt can be considered a short 38 Special and can be fired in most firearms chambered for 38 Special/357 Magnum. Introduced by Colt in 1875 as a black powder cartridge as a slightly more powerful version of the 38 Short Colt. Adopted by the Army in the M1892 Colt New Army Revolver and was used during the Philippine Insurrection and then discontinued shortly afterwards.
45 Schofield brass (Starline, QTY 100)
100 factory new Starline unprimed 45 S&W Schofield brass cartridge cases.
UNIT COST .258 CENTS EACH.
HISTORY: 45 Smith&Wesson Schofield is similar to the 45 Colt. Differences include head diameter approximately .010″ larger, case length is 1.090″ to 1.100″ compared to 1.273″ to 1.283″ in the .45 Colt. Substantially less internal capacity for shooting light loads in most 45 Colt guns with no modifications. You may need to tune extractor on some lever action rifles, or decrease diameter of the ratchet on the cylinder by .010 to accommodate the larger head diameter in Ruger Vaquero and Colts. Also increases magazine capacity in rifles.
25 AUTO brass (1X fired, QTY 131)
Once fired NICKLE 25 A.C.P. (25 Auto) cases. 131 pieces per bag of unprocessed cases.
UNIT PRICE .026 CENTS EACH

32 H&R Mag brass (Starline, QTY 100)
100 factory new STARLINE unprimed 32 Harrington and Richardson Magnum (32 H&R MAG) handgun brass.
The 32 H&R Mag is a lengthened 32 S&W long loaded to high pressure. A result of Harrington and Richardson teaming up with Federal Cartridge in 1984 to create a mild recoil revolver that is more powerful than a 38 Special. Revolvers chambered for the 32 H&R Mag can also safely shoot 32 S&W and 32 S&W Long
32-20 Winchester brass (Starline, QTY 100)
BAGS of 100 factory new Starline unprimed 32-20 (32-20 Winchester Center Fire,32-20 Win, 32-20 Winchester, 32-20 WCF, 32-20 Marlin) brass cartridge cases. This cartridge can also be formed into .25-20, .218 Bee, and with special forming dies available from you can form a shortened version of the 7.62 Nagant cartridge. Uses small pistol primers.
The .32-20 Winchester was the first small-game lever-action cartridge that Winchester produced. It was initially introduced as a black-powder cartridge in 1882. The name .32-20 refers to the 32 caliber bullet of .312-inch-diameter and standard black-powder charge of 20 grain. Colt produced a single-action revolver chambered for this cartridge a few years later.

Big Pups with Hopes of Even Bigger Futures – Part 2
When we finally arrived, we received a warm welcome. The few people we met were very excited to be receiving the puppies. We got a tour of the facility and a rundown of how things work there. We met the current dogs in training along with a litter of 12-week-old collie puppies (sooooo cute!). The puppies got a chance to run and play in a small fenced-in yard, and Ricki and Ozzy got to run in a very large fenced in area. We had a chance to ask any questions we had and to give Denise as much information about Bernard, Bianca, and Penny as we could. Everyone involved wanted to make their transition as smooth as possible, their well-being was the most important thing to me.
“Deciding who to bring back home with us wasn’t easy, since we love all three of them. All the puppies are great puppies, and all different.”
Once all the details were worked out, we learned that a couple of raisers that were lined up for the school had changed their mind. One of the collie puppies, along with Penny, Bernard, and Bianca, were now waiting for raisers. We were asked if we had any interest in raising the collie puppy … or one of our pups. We hadn’t planned on raising again so soon—we were actually wanting to take a break to finish our current Growing Up Guide Pup projects and start others that we have been wanting to do for a long time. But I feel that things happen for a reason, and the timing isn’t always when you want it. So of course we said yes to raising one of our pups. How can you not help someone who is already doing so much to help others?
Deciding who to bring back home with us wasn’t easy, since we love all three of them. All the puppies are great puppies, and all different. Bernard is the silly one who makes you laugh and smile. He learns things super fast, but also likes to do what he wants, like pick on the girls. Bianca changed the most as she grew. She was easily scared and a little shy, but boy did she come out of her shell. She loves to cuddle and is super social with people and other dogs, her tail wags the most. Penny is the mellow one, usually the first to tire out. She too is a great cuddler and will sit in your lap for hours (at least for now, she will be way too big as she gets older) and the most eager to please you.
After a lot of consideration we decided that Penny was the right fit for us at this time. Ricki and Ozzy need a bit of a break too (after Patrick and Arturo, both high energy dogs), and a mellow puppy would be easiest on them. Between work schedules, Growing Guide Pup duties, and some very much need home repairs, we need a puppy that actually sleeps for more than 30 minutes before needing to run, play, or train to fulfill their mental and physical requirements.
Penny is giving us an opportunity for a lot of firsts. This is the first time that we got to choose which puppy we get to raise. This is also our first time raising a puppy for a different type of service other than guide work. Along with the firsts, there is of course working with yet another different school and different training protocols, new commands and different commands for the same behaviors like relieving (so far we have used “do your business,” “ get busy,” and now “hurry”). It is hard to retrain ourselves from one protocol to another and remember different rules and guidelines. But as always these challenges are also great ways to learn new things.
With Penny being such a soft dog we also have to change our approach to our training with her. With Patrick he was fearless and we were able to bring him almost anywhere from the beginning and he took everything in stride. Penny gets overwhelmed easily and we will need to take exposing her to things much slower. She is also already very attached to Ricki, so we will be using Ricki as a mentor in our training to help build Penny’s confidence.
So let the new adventure begin, I have no idea what will happen with these three wonderful puppies. All I know is that they have brought so much joy during their time with me and I am looking forward to watching them grow and see what path they will choose.

Benchrest shooters have long known that uniform case wall thickness is vital to accuracy. Hornady manufacture to extremely tight tolerances to ensure this critical element is as consistent as possible. More Reloads per Case : hornady 22-250 brass treats their brass as the foundation for an accurate cartridge, not a commodity so you'll get more reloads.

338 LAPUA MAGNUM
6.5 Creedmoor is now being offered by Starline, on this website you can find the large primer pocket variation $29 for bags of 50 factory new unprimed brass. That is .58 cents each. When originally introduced by Hornady in 2007 they offered the only reasonable priced cartridge cases, sold in boxes of 50 for $40, that is .80 cents per brass shell cases so Starline 25% lower in price. Both brands can be purchased on the shop pages. Starline’s small rifle primer pocket can be ordered in, they are sold at $72 per 100 cases. Lapua can be special ordered $125 per 100. Please contact me directly, that product is not listed in the “Shop Reloading Supplies” pages.
6.5 Creedmoor
22 Remington Jet offered by Duck Creek is the Prvi brand, $18 per 50. Remington when available is $28. Since value is concern here Prvi Partizan is the main listing found here and not subject to the seasonal product runs often associated with Remington. Other calibers offered by Prvi sold here at DCSG are the 22-250 Remington, 6.5 X 55 Swedish Mauser, 7 X 57 and 8 X 57 Mausers and 300 Winchester Magnum. As mentioned earlier, the supply is generally constant, handloader can buy quality components at reasonable prices.
Alternatives to Popular Rifle Brass
Duck Creek sporting Goods (DCSG) strives to find not only desirable rifle brass calibers but also find alternatives that are cost effective to the reloaders-without sacrificing quality.
For the 338 Lapua Magnum look at the Prvi Partizan offered here at $1.58 per cartridge cases ($79 for a bag of 50 factory new). This is a limited time offering subject to stocks on hand, the replacement costs will be $1.98 each. This is still a bargain for quality shell cases. Hornady, which Duck Creek also sells is priced at $2.47 each and Lapuacan be special ordered in bags of 100 brass cases, this brand sells at $2.90 per cases. Prvi Partizan is a quality on par with Winchester components and recently a supplier I use states that Prvi produces many rifle brass for Hornady.
Duck Creek Sporting Goods (DCSG) was founded in 1991 by Denny and Jennifer McDaniels. The business specializes in fly fishing, hunting and cowboy action shooting.
Denny McDaniels developed a innovated scope cover that is called Shoot-Thru. The item is available on this site, however, Duck Creek is no longer the manufacturer.
Our new focus is now powder, reloading supplies and accessories.

Scarce Remington brass
Remington and Winchester has discontinued 25-20 W.C.F., 30 Remington, 30-40 Krag, 300 H&H Magnum, 32-40 and 35 Remington. Last spring the 6.5 Remington Magnum was offered on my web site and currently I remain hopeful to see another batch this year. Remington has not produced the remaining calibers on the chart in at least five years, some a little longer; these are the ones that Remington is referring to make an attempt to produce this year.
Duck Creek Sporting Goods has active Remington brass back orders on:
17 Fireball, 204 Ruger, 222 Remington Magnum, 257 Roberts, 6.5 Remington Magnum, 7 mm STW, 7 mm RUM, 300 SA Ultra, 300 RUM, 300 Weatherby Magnum, 8 mm Remington Magnum, 338 RUM, 35 Whelen, 350 Remington Magnumn and 375 RUM.
Normally we receive our brass as soon as available, this means I will have listed here for sale (and on GunBroker) before you will find on the shelves at stores and most on line sellers. New items are added monthly, the best way to see what is available is to check back often and have your name placed on a waiting list. Again, Duck Creek does not collect payments for items not readily available. Some items can be found on the shop pages and back orders are allowed, the brass cartridges that can be placed on back order are generally available and can be delivered to you in a timely manner.
Calibers are manufactured in batches, some not as frequent as we would like. This is listed as “Seasonal” in Remington’s price list. Seasonal to us is not seasonal to Remington. This could mean once a year to once every five years or longer. Starting in 2018 Remington made a statement that they will try to get caught up on some long over do rifle cartridges. Only time will tell exactly what their statement means. I have created a chart that outlines substitutes that can be purchased from this web site or contact me to discuss special order options and availability. Any Special Order brass can be delivered to you on average of ten working days, Duck Creek only will collect funds if the item desired can be delivered.
