Hi Mikki what is your fave album from the year of our lord 1980 and also what is your favorite scene in the last waltz 💖

oooh okay. my favorite album released in 1980 i think has to be hypnotised by the undertones which is an album that i’m just starting to realize my love for…..or how much love i have for it anyway. i’ve been an undertones stan for some years now (almost a decade!)

as for my favorite scene in the last waltz…..i can’t even lie the encore as opening number aka don’t do it literally changed everything for me like….. “you guys are still here eh?”, robbie walking out with a drink in one hand and a cigarette in the other…has anyone ever been more off the clock in history. it was literally 4:58pm for him in that exact moment

10. What was the last movie you watched in theaters? What did you think of it?

Stop Making Sense. Obviously I’ve seen it before, but on the big screen it was like going to a Talking Heads gig. It was awesome.

13. What is your comfort film?

Somethings’s Gotta Give. For some reason that movie gives me hope, and I just want to live in Diane Keaton’s house in that movie!

19. What part of filmmaking do you find most interesting (ie. sound design, costuming, set design, etc)?

Definitely the writing. I’ve written some short films, and it’s the most gratifying experience when what you’ve made up in your mind becomes an actual moving, real thing for you to share with others and for them to experience.

10: What was the last movie you watched in theaters? What did you think of it?

About half of Winter Boy (2022), then we walked out. First of all we had children with us because nobody warned up about the very clearly shown sex scenes (we were straight up buying children's tickets and still no one mentioned anything). Second of all... I just didn't enjoy it. It was not only depressing (which I guess it's supposed to be) but also just.. boring.

12: Which movie has your favorite soundtrack?

I probably have to go with Easy Rider too. It's just too good.

13: What is your comfort film?

Already answered but another would be The Secret World of Arrietty.
