Coming back just to say that Steve Harrington would never be a fucking cop
AND writing him as a cop is super fucking lame
#i like hopper#but him being a cop is the least interesting and most disappointing part of his character#okay you want there to be some sort of familial or paternal bond between steve and hopper?#making him a cop is the most boring way to do that#steve can go to trade school for cosmetology and become a hairdresser#he can give college another go and become a school counselor or a teacher#anything is better than a fucking cop#i like to think he’s a better more sensitive person than that#hopper isn’t even a cop anymore because he’s legally dead so unless they just renew his spot no questions asked that idea is dead too#as it should be#anyway i just think it’s a huge disservice to steve’s character if he becomes a cop#it’s an incredibly one dimensional character choice and i like to think he has more depth than that#stranger things#steve harrington#fuck cops
