it pains the original to say it, for since his birth, his nephew has become a central part of elijah’s life. his actions revolved around protecting him from a city that would have seen him dead, and enemies that cared nothing for him. they only wished to cause niklaus to suffer, and what better route to take than hurting his child ? if elijah could have the best of both worlds ( his nephew safe and still by his side ), he would take it in a heartbeat, but he has to think of what is best for the boy.

The snarkiness to Eva’s words wasn’t one be missed: her southern tone practically drowned in it. Granted, she could’ve been a little bit nicer upon seeing the other at the grill. After all, this wasn’t just any vampire, werewolf or witch she was dealing with. This was Klaus’ kid and a tribrid of all three species at that. Then again, Eva was never known for thinking before acting out: both verbally and physically. It was a curse she had come to accept as well as deny furiously as soon as anyone made the slightest mention of her likeness towards the uncle she loathed so much.

Emerald orbs never once left the boy: they stared at him with such intensity. While Eva knew the boy wasn’t his father exactly, she couldn’t help those eerie feelings that screamed at her he was. How on earth could he be half Klaus and not be dangerous? The thought caused her eyebrows to furrow. She shrugged suddenly, as if impatient for a response.

POSITIVITY PARADE! A lot of people assume that muns are jealous of same muses. To try and break this stereotype and prove to all that we can play amazing muses AND appreciate other portrayals, I'm challenging blogs to say something lovely about same muses that they follow. OKAY SO– I don’t really know any other Hope blogs? I don’t see many around, honestly. The only blog I know well enough to talk about is actually a male!Hope blog.

@hopelesshybriid is a pretty amazing blog. I really love the twists they brought to Hope’s character. He’s definitely different from my own interpretation; a lot darker and angrier than my little softy. But I think it’s great!

    the thing about being in a new body, it meant a new start.  what he didn’t know was that he was living a life that wasn’t his own.  he lived in a time far past his own.  but he knew that being a witch in new orleans was something he should really escape from.  so when he was placed in his current body he went off somewhere else.  another location where witchcraft was big and well known.  salem.  the origins of most magic.  that’s where he ended up and that was where he knew things could be different.

It wasn’t supposed to happen like this.

Two boys born in immortal blood; both outcasts, both hybrids, spending every day wrestling with their own humanity, ( or wrestling with each other ).

One could crush stones with bare hands. The other could touch the stars. But how was it that the boy with two feet on the ground and impenetrable skin was the one to fall first?

Griffin didn’t understand.

Death and the nephilim were well acquainted. The shadow of his own mortality followed him at every turn. Soft whispers and chilled touches too faint to be real spiked the hairs along his neck as hands curled into fists at his sides.

Hope was different. Death cowered in Hope’s presence. The other teen had been thrust into this world with the magic woven around tiny infant fists and nestled in a blanket of shadows. Death was nothing but a myth to someone like Hope.

But...

Cold hands pressed against stone and numb fingers traced the grooves etched into the surface over and over again until skin rubbed raw.

The grass under him was wet, soaking through his clothes as Griffin inched closer to the grave, accidentally crushing flowers beneath the palm of his right hand. But Griffin didn’t notice. Didn’t care. Didn’t want to.

“You-- you know-----” His throat strangled words as they passed from dry lips and he coughed, painfully, scrubbing his face on his shoulder.

So. At some point in the night I got the one more follower I needed (and then some) to get to my next hundred. And honestly- thank you all so much? Jeremy was my first canon character blog, and one of my favorites even to this day. I adore him way more than I probably should, and I always feel so warm and fuzzy inside when people enjoy him. Like. Honestly. Don’t even get me started on all of this. So here we go!

( @eternalguilt ) Believe it or not, Jeremy and Stefan are the only ship I actively RP anymore. It’s not for lack of me wanting to- it just kinda turned out that way. You’re the oldest ship I have for Jeremy, spanning all the way back to when he was just a smol child on my first indie blog, the only canon muse in an array of original characters. I love you SO MUCH you have no idea. I’m so #blessed to have you in my life and I will continue to love having you here.

( @megapcwerful ) The only Kai blog I currently interact with (which, granted, is a travesty that I wish to remedy, but that doesn’t change the fact that I love you). My favorite unrequited love partner (bc... let’s be honest. Jeremy loves Kai even if he’ll never do anything about it.) And MY MOM. Just. Omg.

( @decentjock ) I just have one word. BOYFRIENDS. Jeremy and Jeff are the true boyfriends. Like omg. 99% of my love for them comes directly from us just talking OOC but that doesn’t change the fact that they’re boyfriends, okay? And you’re just sweet and precious and I love you. Omg.

( @baddecisionsandbourbon ) Don’t get me started on how feelsy I get over Jeremy and Damon, okay? Like. I just- I love writing with you and our threads of them together, because they’re, like, the perfect pair? And totally meant to be together even though they seem SO WRONG on the surface.
