Marshall Merchandise Update! (Jan. 2025)

The new Air Rescue toys still haven't arrived in the United States (granted, I'm not sure they're available anywhere yet), but that doesn't mean I haven't managed to obtain a few items in the meantime!

Without further ado, here are the new additions to my collection!

Again, I tried to spruce up my pics with an image on my monitor. I figured why not pick something with snow, since Indiana's been getting hit with plenty here lately (and ice...). 😅

To start things off, here's something I received for Christmas! Not too long ago, a friend went to that indoor Nickelodeon Universe theme park, and when she seen this cup, she knew I had to have it. It's really cool! She'll likely read this, so once again, thank you for the gift!

Next up, another Christmas gift!

Another friend of mine, who lives in the United Kingdom, found this at a store called "Primark". She figured the United States wouldn't get any, so she sent it to me to add to my collection. And... I don't believe these are available in the USA at all, so she figured correctly! Actually, until I got this in the mail, I had no idea it even existed! What a wonderful surprise! I believe she'll also read this at some point, so once again, thank you!

Oh, she also sent me a Christmas-themed Marshall drawing, too! It's really awesome! I need to take this, as well as the other drawings people have made for me, and put them in a frame and hang them on my wall. Seriously, I'm honestly touched by all the folks who've done this for me. You're all awesome. :)

Yet another gift! This one was well after Christmas, however.

As you might recall, I was looking for one of these the other day, but my local Walmart either sold out quickly or didn't get any in (or, again, Marshall was disguised). I figured I'd have to wait until they got some in stock again, but much to my surprise, I didn't have to wait for too long, as my aunt visited another Walmart and found one! Funnily enough, she had no idea I was even looking for one. lol

Oh, and if you're curious, Bowser's back there to hold the plush up. Thanks for being a pal, koopa king! He's the best party member in Super Mario RPG... there, I said it! lol

Last, this "Booksy"... thing! I'm not entirely sure what to call it, but it's rather cute! Admittedly, I'm not sure if I'll take it out of the container or not. I might just leave it in there to keep it safe.

Now, why is it called Booksy? It's because this thing actually has a tiny book inside of it! Just unscrew the head and there it is. And from what I've seen, going by this Instagram post, each book is based on an episode of the TV series (not surprising). Assuming every Marshall booksy is the same, his is based on season 6's "Midnight at the Museum". I do recall that one being a fun episode, and it ended with Marshall helping out near the end, so it's not a bad choice!

Fortunately, the other pups got one of these, too. Even Rocky and Zuma! Everest and Liberty joined in on the fun as well (no Tracker, I think). In any case, if you want to buy one yourself, you can find them at Walmart (in the states, anyway).

And that's all for now! Oh, I should update you all on something I talked about a while back. I said I was reorganizing my whole Marshall collection, and once I finished, I was going to post some pics of it. I never did, and I have a reason.

.......I got lazy. 😅

Well, that, and I became a little too consumed with fixing that New Nintendo 2DS XL, which I also mentioned back then. Thankfully, it's fixed now (we don't need to talk about how much of an ordeal that was...), so I'll eventually get back to my collection... once I stop procrastinating. It's mostly finished, other than a few shelves. Hopefully I'll get some update pics up soon... soon-ish... someday!

what's your relationship like with abeke at the moment?

Let's see . . . I have apologized to her several times, and I'm pretty sure she's forgiven me, but sometimes she holds my betrayal over my head when she wants to get out of petty household chores. Like one time, she wanted to go hunting with Uraza, and I had a few messages to send and couldn't finish doing the dishes. So I asked her to do it. She then proceeded to tell me that I owe her "1001 chores before I'll forgive you for real", which I'm almost certain was a joke. But just in case, I did the dishes that day. That same day, Uraza vomited all over her favorite pants, and she made me wash them! I don't think she's actually counting, because I'm supposed to be on 896 right now, but yesterday, Abeke told me that I owe her "like 800-ish" more chores. I didn't correct her, but that makes me think she wasn't really being serious. However, on the small chance she is, I'm counting and keeping very close track in a log called "Chores for Abeke's forgiveness", which has dates and details.

I don't like the way the other Redcloaks talk about us, though. I caught Worthy smirking at me one time when she was correcting my thumb's position while teaching me to nock arrows. I don't really know what that was about. But Worthy is part cat, so maybe his face just looks like that (Abeke's does sometimes, and she's not even a cat, just bonded to one), so I let that go. But after I implemented the rule that Abeke was off-limits to talk smack about, Talon made a very unfunny and implicative drawing about me and Abeke. I won't describe the details, but it was very inaccurate and not at all true. She then spread it through the Redcloak ranks, and even though there were only about fifty of us, it was still heavily annoying to deal with, especially since that was around the time I was trying to whip them all into shape. Also, one of the Redcloaks that was supposed to be cleaning the balcony of our base threw flower petals down at us while I was showing Abeke around the courtyard that was directly beneath it. I haven't figured out who was responsible for that, but I'm almost certain it was Howl. I've had several talks with the Redcloaks telling them that this is inappropriate behavior and that I am their leader and should be showed the proper respect, but they have all aligned against me and continue to disobey my very clear orders. Sometimes, when we get a new recruit who doesn't know all the rules yet, they offer to be my wingman/woman, and I have to correct them and tell them that I feel absolutely nothing for Abeke. I have no idea where these rumors are coming from, since I am not in love with Abeke and that is clear to anyone with a functioning brain. So I am choosing to believe that the Redcloaks do this because they're bored and annoying me is fun.

Other than that, my relationship with Abeke is very good. We recently went on a hunting excursion together in Nilo. Well, that was unofficially. Officially, I was going between several areas in Nilo to try to show goodwill to the people that I regretfully treated quite poorly in my former life. I even found a few more Redcloak recruits, which is always good. But we had to do a lot of hunting together while traveling, and even though she made me do a lot of the skinning and preparing, it was still fun. I think Uraza is starting to warm up to me, too, but she reminds me of the Redcloaks when they're at their most annoying. She once nudged me into Abeke, which Abeke claimed was an accident. I'm inclined to believe that, since she's Abeke's spirit animal, but I still don't like the implication. Anyway, we stopped by Abeke's home before we left Nilo, and I almost punched her father in the face (Abeke stopped me) and called her sister something I probably shouldn't repeat. I don't really know why she puts up with those two when she has an amazing, supportive family at Greenhaven, and hopefully someday she'll realize that and cut them off.

And a couple of rhysothy arts In general I’m currently rewriting one terrible book (an evil that I can fight) in my native language. But... I have a document where I write a video for English-speakers about the book (spoiler: the author of the book was so outraged by one fanfic that she wrote her own homophobic mpreg). Hopefully someday I'll finish it.

Grab Bag Doodle Dump

Oh, what's this feeling? The feeling of wanting to explode because I haven't posted sketches in a while? Well, I better post something then~

I haven't been as productive as I'd like since work picked up, but it's starting to slow down again, so hopefully I'll be able to work on some more personal stuff. I've almost finished Kun3h0's new model, I just need a little extra tweaking and then maybe making a few extra emotions and I'll be good! We're also only 20 followers away from the next milestone here, so hopefully requests will open soon too.

Anyway, here's the usual notes under the cut:

1-2) Clay Face sketches. I gotta couple more plushies to upcycle, a monkey in a rainbow hat and a purple bunny. I'm actually gonna try to sell these, so I do hope that y'all will consider taking a look and/or spreading 'em around once they're done ^o^! The monkey is gonna be party/clown themed, and I'm gonna try to make the bunny magical girl themed, but they might turn out generic. More info at a later date~

3-4) Potential plushie upcycles. For the first bear, the pallet and theme is Yinu inspired, but I'm taking some inspo from this song too. I want to cover them in yellow roses since I got a few during a Michael's clearance sale, but I've yet to come across a yellow bear for it, so this one is gonna be on the back burner until I stumble across one. The other one is a MikuxNoid fusion to finally use that pink Kpop bunny I got forever ago. This one is just for fun since I actually already have an idea for that bunny, but I still wanted to sketch the concept.

5-6) Kun3h0 x 1010 ver 2. I like the designs I made for both, so I doodled them again. I gave 1010!Kun3h0 her rabbit ears back since they're important to her design, I just changed the shape a little to match the 1010 aesthetics, so they're sharper and don't have the globes at the top. Kun3h0!White is basically unchanged.

7) Soda Shop!Green. I will finish this collection someday. Hopefully. Maybe.

8) "Ghosts". A XIO doodle I never got around to finishing. I'm still evolving the idea, but I'm starting to think of XIO's personalities as their own separate people that just happen to occupy the same body.

9) Kindergaten AU. I dunno, I thought it was a cute idea, and I have some scenario ideas for it, but I feel very silly about it since it's just fluff. I dunno if I'll ever make anything based on it. Maybe someday when I'm less self-conscious.

10) Build-A-Goat: So I never actually set up my tent this year, and I don't think I'm gonna. I'm just too unmotivated~ That said, this was the original plan for my tent rather than the Tamagoatchis.

11) Gemu doodle. I wanna draw him and the retro gang again ;3;

🖊KERXSUS

I never talk about him which is a shame because of all my salads, he might have my favorite design. He is based on three plants in particular, those being a begonia maculata, maple and japanese maple, as well as the red burning bush plant.

I just love red plants.

Kerxsus was my first monochromatic sylvari design, though yellow and green feature as well, his color palette is predominately red. He is my autumnal salad and he's been on my mind a lot lately since I live in a place where maple trees are abundant. There are so many beautiful changing colors right now and so many different shades of reds and oranges and yellows and muddy greens. Muah, chefs kiss. Best season.

Kerxsus is an odd egg. He met a Nightmare Courtier very early upon waking and was intrigued by their sympathetic nature. He does not get very caught up in right VS wrong. He thinks the courtiers have their place. He doesn't like things that are overly dogmatic though, so joining as a formal member never held much appeal to him.

He has a fascination for insects and arachnids, and keeps several as odd pets. He's a bit of a mad scientist type and is constantly experimenting and testing new poisons and antidotes and solutions and solvents and isn't always the most discerning about what or who he tests them on.

He loves shiny things and likes to adorn himself with pretty gems. Sometimes he goes to what some might call extreme measures to acquire pretty shiny things. Very nearsighted. probably a monsterfucker. He likes a specimen.

🖊MEENA

My beautiful Not-Norn baby. The youngest of all my GW2 characters (not counting sylvari since they are basically born adults) Meena is in the 17-20 ish range. I haven't worked out a ton for her yet so I haven't nailed down the specifics.

But I'd love to spend more time with her character! Her color palette is very inspired by Lady Amalthia from The Last Unicorn, which is one of my favorite movies. And I really love her design - she's fun to draw!

Meena is a human who was found abandoned as a baby in the shiverpeaks and was adopted by a loving Norn couple who desperately wanted a child and felt the spirits of the wild blessed them when they found her. They assumed that a child that could survive such extreme temperatures long enough to be found bust be a Norn, so they never questioned it. She was raised like a Norn, though she never got quite as tall as her peers. Her dad's love her very much and fret over her constantly.

I have a couple different comics drafted for their family. One being of her dad's finding her for the first time. Hopefully I'll get that actually finished someday haha ; ;

I like the idea of her general vibe feeling somewhat fairy-tale or folklore-ish. There's some mystery surrounding where exactly she came from and how she didn't die as an infant in the snow and I would love to delve more into that. I feel like there are a lot of opportunities for some fun environmental pieces and warm cozy illustrations of her and her dads.

🖊ASPHREAH

They're based on a Purple Queen plant, which my Grandmom always had in her garden!

Their name is a combination of the words Asphyxiate and Freya.

They are more attractive than you and they know it.

While not an official member of the Nightmare Court, they might do the odd job for them every now and again. More of an independent contractor kind of deal. They despise the idea of working under anyone long term. It's simply beneath them.

Asphreah appreciates fine fancy clothes and things that look fashionable and expensive and they dress themselves like they want to be noticed. They wear lavish materials that they hate to dirty or stain and will consider murder over a spilled drink.

When contracted or asked for favors they will accept payment in the form of rare out of print books of poetry and they keep an extensive library of books and manuscripts worth a frankly ungodly amount of money.

They're most definitely a wine snob. They're a snob about most things actually. They hate having things chosen for them because other people are more likely to make shit choices. Unless, of course the choice being made is in their favor.

Absolutely the kind of person who flirts and convinces you to dump your partner to date them, only to dump you not long after because they only wanted to prove they could make you fall for them.

They would rather not perform strenuous tasks, preferring to convince other people to handle things for them.

All in all, not a very nice person, but certainly one that knows their own worth.

“I mean, you guys even have matching rings,” she said, tapping her own right hand. “Before we got engaged, we wore promise rings, although ours were on our ring fingers. Is it a new thing to put them on your middle?”

you're yellow i'm natural blue is another muke fic (although there's quite a bit of side cashton, and a lot of lashton/malum friendship as well)! it's a soulmate au where people get colorful marks on their skin where their soulmate touches them for the first time (although it doesn't require direct contact). it's also a college au! there's a lot of non-critical thinking going on and a healthy does of angst, but luckily cashton have their shit together and can help out the disaster duo that is muke in this fic lol. it's going to be a longer fic and it's been ~very~ slow going since i've got several other longer projects going on, but hopefully someday it'll be bumped to the front of the fic stove!

for cashton fic,,, well i actually just finished one the other day! it is. supremely stupid lol it's called "i can see paradise by the dashboard light" and it's really just calum thirsting over ashton for 555 words. the entire fic is based off of the tags people leave on ashton posts since i don't really see people like that; once it's out in the world i'll be interested to see if i actually captured those feelings/reactions correctly! i felt a bit like an alien scientist writing it lol hopefully people enjoy

Grab Bag Doodles

I haven't been doodling too much lately. Mostly everything I've drawn I've finished or it's a part of a bigger project that I don't want to post. So... yeah. Kinda had to scramble for some stuff, but nonetheless I hope you'll enjoy me rambling for a bit.

1) Kun3h0 Head Logo. I made this an alternate graphic to take the place of the word logo if need be. I think it's pretty cute.

2-3) Kun3h0 Doodles. She takin' a sippy. Yeah, I kinda wrote myself into a corner saying that Kun3h0's mouth is a screen (to explain why it's white when she opens her mouth), but I'm gonna say it just slides out of the way when she needs to refill her coolant tanks or otherwise needs to access the inside of her head.

4-5) Nekoko Base Tests. So one project I was working on was preparing a new base for HONK because the Yomi project is just not working out for me. I chose an old OC, Nekoko, for the test because she's one of the only OCs I have that kinda suits the "traditional" anime character mold. But I dunno how far I'm gonna take this because I started questioning what the utility of a blank PNGtuber base even is. If you're already capable of drawing, which you need to be able to do to use the base, then there is zero reason to use the base XP. The only way I can see this being actually useful is if I add a bunch of premade parts to it and essentially turn it into a character creator, which is a lot of work. I dunno, maybe I'll still put it together, but I do honestly believe that this has been a futile project from the very beginning.

6) I'm Your Number 1 Fan, Sketch. The original sketch for that piece. It was supposed to be slightly animated and a little more sinister in nature, with all the artists getting crossed off one-by-one and the background getting a little darker every time. I think it's still a cool idea, but a lack of thumbnailing really bit me in the butt: Kliff's pose was already locked in, but by the time I started adding all the artist portraits, I realized that his hand was gonna get covered, so it became way too busy in that area, so I just replaced the idea with the Kliff emojis. Maybe I'll come back to this idea thematically, though.

7) The Troll Slaiyers. Some stupid ass bullshit that I'm probably not gonna finish because I just cannot bring myself to put serious effort into memes. All the portrait art is traced from in-game talksprites. None of the colors are color picked to give it a shittier quality.

8) ???. Hey, for making it this far, here's a secret sketch! No, the image isn't broken, I pixelated it on purpose because it's a part of a "secret" project. Well, it's not my secret, and I'm not even sure if it's supposed to be a secret (I guess I could have just asked XP), but this character belongs to someone else, and I don't want to post anything about it until it becomes public. Originally, it started as a potential test for the PNGtuber base I was working on. I did several different characters to see how well the proportions translated to characters of other styles. I even did a Kun3h0 test, but she seems weird without her really long legs XP. Anyway, I did this one because their proportions are a little more different (having shorter limbs and a very different head shape) and I just started sketching more ideas for it because I think they're a very fun character. Hopefully that project will become public someday, so I can share more of the art and doodles I've done for it, but till then, I guess this is okay.
