That Run Jin episode with Hobi was so funny lollll
I kept thinking of the clip from when BTS went on the James Corden show and played Flinch. Namjoon said 2Seok are the cowards of the group 😆. The staff were genius for putting them in a horror episode together.

I know no one asked but here's what I think the BTS members would do if they weren't idols or artists / what they might do after they retire from music
Seokjin:
Actor. Self-explanatory.
Yoongi:
Architecture firm (Min Industries)
Hoseok:
Fashion editor who also teaches dance to kids. Alternatively, a choreographer.
Namjoon:
Art critic except he only ever says nice things.
Jimin:
Dancer specializing in interpretive dance.
Taehyung:
Photographer.
Jungkook:
Videographer and editor.

It's really interesting to see the differences in promotion that we've seen for bangtan's solos so far.
We have Hobi, who held an exclusive launch party, did radio and YouTube interviews, and also did international performances on big stages. The world was Hobi's stage.
Then there's Seokjin, who kept it smaller by performing his song at Coldplay's concert as an homage to his favorite band and as a farewell to ARMYs. Jin also did YouTube show appearances on smaller channels. The digital sphere was more Jinnie's stage.
And then Namjoon, who worked and met with big names in music for promotion, and also performed at an exclusive celebrity-only party, as well as holding a small private concert for fans in his dream venue in his home country. Korea was Namjoon's stage.
Each of these three reflect their personalities. Hobi is more daring and bold, so he went with bigger performances. Jin is more private and sensitive, so he went with a more intimate promotion. Namjoon has strong Korean pride and is known for his authenticity, so everything he used to promote involved his heritage and his intellect.
I'm curious to see how the others promote their future works, and I'm sure that their personalities will shine in their music promotion as well.

I go out of town for TWO DAYS and suddenly Jin is naked on Instagram, Taehyung is killing ladies left and right, and Hobi has turned into the court jester. What is going on.

I will be honest. I am scared.
I've heard of groups going on breaks or hiatuses before and then never coming back. This scares me because I just joined the fandom this year and still feel so new to everything. Obviously this isn't a hiatus and BTS will still be doing group and solo work, and obviously BTS is not like Western groups (e.g., 1D), but I still feel scared.
I appreciate that the boys are promising that they'll come back (even stronger) because that gives me a little hope. I look forward to their individual projects and I am happy that they will finally get more time to just be normal/freer human beings.
Since I joined the world of kpop, I've been shocked that artists put out music multiple times per year, because I'm coming from Western music in which an album is typically put out only every two or three years. Not to mention, kpop and especially BTS' music is so conceptual and narrative-based, so it must be even more draining to have to create those stories so often.
Even when they come back, I'm okay with the fervor/Purplemania dying down a little if it means they get more rest and can do things at an easier pace.
I think I should take this time to revert my attention back to my own life and myself because I really got sucked into the purple wormhole these past few months. I'm somewhat grateful for this break.
I'm sorry if these opinions of mine offend, scare, or hurt anyone. I'm just trying to be honest about how I feel, which is still in shambles and confusion. I have yet to watch the FESTA family dinner, but I hope it will bring me some peace.
