hey, hope i can provide something helpful; if it's making you feel actively worse, don't be worried about stepping away for a while. i've had a fandom and f/o ruined for me for similar reasons before, and there's no reason you can't return at a later time if you need a breather.

i don't think anyone would celebrate if you deactivated, i sure wouldn't, but do what will keep your mental health as clear as possible. i admire your dedication and love of ivo myself because it reminds me of my years married to my main f/o. take care, ok?

yeah I've been thinking about that. I think I'll just start by letting my blog run on a queue as it should last a few days and log out and distance myself while I think about things. I'm sorry you've experienced it too, it really sucks. I'm trying to not let it ruin it for me entirely because Eggman is so important to me but lately expressing my love for him has been really painful and I hate to admit it.

I know some definitely would with how I'm hated but I'm trying not to focus on it, it's just hard with how negative my mind can get. I appreciate that you wouldn't and the understanding and respect for my situation and I'll try to focus on that instead. I'm going to try to do whatever feels best, I'm not sure what that is right now but I'm going to take the time to think.

and thank you so much, I'm really happy that my love and devotion to him is recognized and admired. expressing it is really fun and a beautiful thing that brings me lots of joy when I'm not getting backlash for it and I'm really glad that people do still enjoy to see it from me. the support means the world to me and thanks I will, you take care too 💜

Hey, just felt like saying that not only are you the official Eggman guru to me (and also Ivo's perfect husband), but I kind of made a Tumblr just to follow you and a few other people because of how educated and passionate you are on Eggman. Maybe one day I'll the confidence you present your posts with to maybe post my fanfic ideas out there. Some of them have very funny, cruel, badass and IC Eggman villainy, I can promise that much. Perhaps also some ideas about an certain AI inspired by your recent posts ;p. He probably wouldn't be tied for my favourite character if you and some others hadn't opened my eyes to his greatness a few years ago. But mostly you. So, thank you! Keep winning King!

i wanna say this but hjfdsh your love for eggman actually is really nice because i used to really dislike eggman and everything he did (scandalous, i know!!) and like.... after following you ive grown to appreciate eggman too?? i dont know how you did it but i went from hating him and being bothered by him in the games to going "THAT MAN right there is my FRIEND" whenever i see him and i really like seeing the stuff you post! Sometimes you point out the little things he does and i go (1/2)

I'm really happy that you decided to give my blog a chance and that you've also grown to appreciate him through it! That's always been something I've really hoped for! I see that it's a common thing for people to be more focused on Sonic's side alone because he's the main character and the hero. So a lot of people end up disliking Eggman before really giving him a chance because he's the bad guy. But villains actually aren't designed and written to be hated and if you look deeper you'll see that there's so much to admire and appreciate!

Eggman has so many fantastic qualities to his design, personality, and voice with the way that the actors portray him. He's the perfect balance between a comedic and evil villain as one trait does not heavily overshadow the other, despite the misconceptions. He can be goofy and silly and dark and threatening all in one game and it's all lots of fun to see! He's the one responsible for many of the most memorable moments in this series and the reason why most of the adventures in the games even get to happen in the first place!

His great passion for world domination, robots, theme parks and more has always been very admirable too. He knows what makes him happy and he's set on getting exactly what he wants. I love how excited, positive and confident he is with himself and all the things he does. He's also inspiring in the way that he never gives up on his dreams and never lets anyone else discourage him. 

It's evident that he puts so much thought and effort into his plans and creations with his impressively high IQ. And with all of his brilliant plans and things he has accomplished throughout the series, there's so much to be proud of! He always tries his best and has gotten very far with it many times. He’s capable of a lot of things that nobody else could ever do!

And he's always brave and strong in multiple ways that many overlook. Not only does he have a lot of strength physically and in intelligence, but he also dares to go up against anyone that tries to stand in his way, no matter how tough they are. Sonic his friends have all kinds of wild powers, including their abilities to harness the chaos energy inside of them to initiate super forms. But does that stop him from giving it all his best shot? No way, he's ready to take them on!

I've always found that much more often than not, the main game Eggman has some of the most love and care put into him. There's so much life and energy to his character in the way that he talks, moves and acts. He's such an incredibly charming and special kind of entertainment in both the way that he's written and how the actors bring him to life. There are a lot of good ones, but there's a reason why Mike Pollock hasn't been replaced in the English cast since his debut in the main games!

He's also one of the most consistent in the good characterization of the entire cast. Even in games where not much could be said for the quality of the stories as a whole, Eggman has still had great scenes, humor, plans, and accomplishments in those too.

There are a lot of misconceptions about his character but also a lot of things are often simply overlooked. That's why I focus on every detail and do analysis with him in such depth, not only because it's my biggest passion but also because I hope to give others a new perspective/understanding of his character. I want to bring more attention to those things, no matter how big or small of a detail they are. There's just so much to love about him and I could go on and on!

I'm really glad you enjoy my analysis posts, it means a lot to me to know that through my passion I can help others notice things they might never have noticed otherwise. There's always more to come and I hope you'll like what I have to share in the future! :D
