If you could redo it all, what would you change? Or: an AU where everything goes according to plan, but Dazai actually dies in the prison, and Chuuya is transported back to the past with the chance of doing everything right this time. Heartache, scheming, and healing ensues.

Chapter 9 gutted me 😭 (in the best way possible) but it is absolutely one of my favorites so far. I wanted to include more of their conversation from that chapter but there was just SO MUCH, so I had to just try to capture the vibes instead. If you haven't read it and you're intrigued I cannot recommend it enough. It is so beautifully written none of my art will ever do it justice 💖💖💖

Like Staring Into the Sun by @nyxocity [AO3] Set about mid-S3. Darker!Sam and Doomed!Dean find themselves in a place where morals and rules aren't starting to mean much in the face of what they really want.

“You two look good together,” she whispers, mouth melting against Dean’s before sealing over Sam’s, and Dean’s losing track of who’s where and who’s kissing who, blood singing sharply in his veins and knees rushing with warmth. Sam’s shoulder, his hipbone, pressing up against Dean, solid and warm and electric, mouths turned toward each other but not quite touching, girl kissing back and forth between them until Dean can’t tell the difference anymore. Feels Sam’s head turn toward him just a tiny bit more, can feel the rush of Sam’s breath as the corner of his brother’s mouth almost grazes his, feels the girl trying to kiss both of them at once, humming her approval. He wonders for a split second if things could get any more wrong than this. Feels Sam’s hot fingers brush his cheek, nails graze his scalp as they slip through the tangle of Dean’s hair and realizes it really, really can.

as for some recent stuff I've liked, they've all been pretty lighthearted:

another one bites by seateainthemountains is chaotic and goofy in a very comic book-y kind of way

ryanoid on the brain by firefly_ika is another goofy one but also short and sweet. peter versus bug spray

it had to be you by fancastical in which wade recognises peter every time - except when it counts. I'm just a wimp for identity fics, sorry

cross the highways of fantasy is another one by fancastical and is a special shout out because I adore the concept of peter and weasel having history (and peter and wade using that to be insufferable)

five times peter says I hate you, and one time he (finally) doesn't by bestie has a brief scene with wade wreaking havoc with photographer-on-the-job peter and that's a woefully underrepresented trope I adore

Just started watching suits recently and was wondering if you had any good fic recs, particularly AUs. The nature of the show really lends itself to Selkie fics imo but also I just love selkies

anon i need you to know that as soon as i saw your ask i immediately went scouring through the AU tag on ao3. i’m not gonna lie, i'm not usually an AU reader but i wanted to challenge myself to provide some recs as unbiasedly as possible.

at first observation, i noticed a lot of the AU fics were still in some way canon (divergent and adjacent)-- usually splitting off somewhere along the show or a situation where Mike or Harvey is still a lawyer, while the other was not. i will say i skipped over smut-based (omegaverse, bdsm) and lengthy fics (under 20k is nothing, anything more than 50k is pushing it for me) cause i just did not have the brainpower to even try to get through them :/

so of course the ones i ended up liking were mostly canon divergent/adjacent but i tried my best to get you something different. what i managed to dig up for you is under the cut and i really hope you like them anon (also fyi these are all pretty much marvey fics, hope that's okay!) <3 also thanks so much for the ask! i enjoyed this little scavenger hunt haha!

I haven't read this one but been recced it, time has come today by teen_dean where 19 year old dean from 1998 is brought to 2020 to help with a hunt
