helping hand
pairing: bsf!lee heeseung x fem!reader
synopsis: heeseung had an unusual ritual before every competition as a professional league of legends player. one that his ex-girlfriend could no longer fulfill for him, leaving him desperate enough to ask for your help as his best friend.

MDNI! barely proofread lol, heeseungs a professional gamer… idk shit about that tho, you’re his best friend, league of legend mention, oral (m. rec), face fucking, deepthroating obv, praise? heeseung whimpers and whines here and there, name calling bc he calls her a perv hehe, reader touches herself and orgasms bc of his whimpering, cum swallowing, first time writing JUST a blowjob & ball fondling hehe and more probably! [3.3k words]
🖤: im so scared this was only supposed to be like 1k words but i cant shut the fuck up ever.
MINORS & AGELESS BLOGS DO NOT INTERACT!
it’s been awhile since you’ve had heeseung linger around your apartment for hours or even days like this. between his time spent with his now ex girlfriend and his professional gaming career, you had rarely seen him. only relying on occasional short lunch meetings or quick coffee runs.
it’s not that his ex disliked you, but more so disliked that you and heeseung happened to be an extremely attractive pair of friends and hated that people would confuse you both as a couple rather than heeseung and her.
you missed your best friend, and it comforted you that he returned those feelings.
before heeseung had stepped foot into a relationship with his ex, he would spend half of his time at your apartment. especially when he had a competition that was near.
“are you nervous?” you ask him, watching as he packs little things he left at your apartment into a small suitcase for the gaming league. it was only one city away but these sorts of things take an entire weekend.
heeseung hums, “i’m confident.” you know he’s not lying either. there’s not much you know about gaming, or specifically, league of legends—but according to your mutual friends, heeseung seems to be a god at the game. yet, he seemed so antsy about something.
“so what are you gonna do about your little pre-competition ritual,” you hope to lighten his mood, easing him of whatever that was on his mind.
“what ritual?”
you clear your throat, “oh, um. your blowjob ritual..?”
the question was asked in a light hearted way, but heeseung didn’t react in such a way at all. the ritual, as you called it, was something heeseung accidentally created a few years ago when he had first gone pro. his situationship at the time gave him head right before he left as a sexy goodluck and a reminder of what he had waiting for him when he got back, but that day he had carried and won the competition for his entire team.
the next year after that he had gotten with his girlfriend and had shyly asked her to suck him off, to which she agreed and it had officially become a routine for every competition, including smaller, less meaningful ones.
“you okay, hee?”
“can i ask you something?” he suddenly speaks up, voice way louder than he intended, causing the both of you to cringe at the volume. “s-sorry.. i just need to ask you something.”
you nod slowly, “yeah, anything. is everything okay?”
heeseung thinks for a few moments before speaking again, “it’s a little personal and it’s okay if you are uncomfortable with this and you absolutely do not have to say yes but i need to at least ask you.”
“heeseung just say it.”
“can you give me a blowjob before my competition this weekend?”
your reaction comes in three stages. the both of you stare at each other in silence for about three minutes before you burst out in laughter, which also lasts about three more minutes. but when you see heeseungs panicked expression, you go silent again.
“wait… seriously?”
heeseung swallows before shaking his head timidly. he debated laughing along with you and passing it off as a complete joke but he felt the need to follow through. the room is silent again. your fingers subconsciously play with the zipper on his suitcase as you think about the question he just proposed to you.
your best friend, whom you’ve experienced half your life with, just asked you if you could give him head before one of his league of legends competitions.
what was the right answer here?
“you.. you don't have to,” heeseungs heart feels like it’s about to fall out of his chest. why on earth would he ask such a thing to his only female friend? no less, his best friend.
it was a joke. yeah, a joke! oh my god, why would i ask that, you pervert! you should’ve seen your face! you guys joke like this all the time, this is no different. he could totally play this off coolly.
“it’s fucking stupid, i know. but it seriously helps me and you know she would do it for me everytime.” he begins rambling without even realizing it. the air is so thick you would have to take a chainsaw to it. “y-you aren’t her, yeah, but i don’t know—it genuinely gets me through the competitions.”
heeseung lets out a shaky breath, “just forget it. ignore what i said.”
“well, no heeseung,” you cut him off, “i can’t just forget that you seriously asked me something like that.”
“please don’t make this awkward. you can say no and we can forget this happened.”
you could tell heeseung wanted to rip his tongue out, and to see your best friend this distressed over something so silly made you want to drop everything and get rid of those feelings for him.
“i mean, i never said no, did i..?”
heeseung looks up, meeting your gaze with a shocked expression, “what?”
“yeah,” you nod, “it doesn’t hurt to think about it, right? it’s not like you’re asking me to completely fuck you—a blowjob wouldn’t hurt us right? especially if it’s going to help you.”
he blinks. heeseung might think you’re going insane, and he’s the one that asked you for the blowjob. no way you were actually considering this for him.
what did he do in his past life to gain such a supportive, pretty best friend.
“so… you’ll think about it?” your best friend's voice is quiet when he asks, like he’s scared to speak up any louder. “like, seriously?”
“yeah,” nodding your head, you flash him a reassuring smile. agreeing to suck off your friend before his professional video game competition, a totally normal request.
when heeseung leaves your apartment, you immediately cuss yourself out. why the fuck would you practically agree to that?
but when you think about telling the boy no, your heart cracks. why? you don’t know. but what you do know is that you would rather die than look at his big sad brown eyes when you tell him you can't give him a special blowjob for his special day.
you were no pro at sucking dick, but you were dedicated to this friendship.
heeseung bounced his leg with nervousness and anticipation. you texted him that you were on the way to his hotel, which would’ve been normal and completely fine considering you attend all of his comps, but today was different.
you never answered his question.
he wonders if maybe you forgot about it. he also hopes you didn’t forget. ever since he asked you the big question, heeseung couldn’t get you out of his mind.
every night leading up to today, he’d lie awake staring at his ceiling trying to push every image of you sitting pretty between his legs out of his mind. the feeling of his cock hardening to the thought of you made him want to dive out of the nearest window.
it’s not like he didn’t think you were hot or that the idea of being intimate with you disgusted him, but it’s the fact that he promised to never be like every other guy.
the two of you were very close. from cuddling while watching movies to holding hands in a crowded area to heeseung beating up creepy men at dive bars for you—you both had a tight knit friendship. and he always promised that he would never cross that line. he might be a total loser but he liked to consider himself a gentleman at the same time.
that day, he did. yet you were still attending something that meant the world to him when you could’ve told him to fuck off and die.
four knocks at the door rips heeseung away from his thoughts.
with sweaty hands and knees that felt like jelly, heeseung grips the door knob and opens it, plastering the fakest smile he could muster up. “hey.” did his voice crack? fuck my life.
“hi!” you hold up two bags filled with a variety of snacks with a large smile on your face, “i brought some stuff for this weekend.”
he clears his throat and steps to the side, letting you enter his hotel room. heeseung averts his gaze to the ceiling as you walk by him, afraid of letting his eyes stay on you–what if he accidentally looks at your ass?
“what time does it start today?” you ask, completely unaware of the emotional distress your male best friend was going through. so nonchalant and unmoving. maybe you did forget afterall.
heeseung takes a seat at the desk in his hotel room, where he had a temporary p.c. set up in case he needed a practice game. “uhh, it’s at six this time.”
“jeez… you guys won't be leaving until late then.” you glance at the clock and back to him. he has to leave very soon. how do you casually start giving your best friend a blowjob within the next fifteen minutes.
“yeah, you know of all people that these things can go for hours. you’re gonna be there for the last few rounds right?”
you nod, wondering if heeseung could notice the way you’re practically gawking at him. was he always this hot? it’s stupid question when you’re fully aware of how attractive heeseung was and currently is. maybe it was the way he was dressed up for his competition tonight, or the way he leaned back on his hands and spread his legs comfortably.
the baggy black hoodie that you knew he was wearing by itself with nothing underneath paired with his baggy jeans that sat so perfectly on his hips. you were fully aware that you were checking out your best friend. he’s fucking hot, why else would you agree to do any of this?
you wonder if he’s thought about this as much as you have. is he nervous? is he vocal? how long does it take for him to get hard and how big is he?
“hey,” you don’t know where the confidence is coming from, but you find yourself kneeling in front of him with your hands on his knees, “you’re gonna do great and win this. like you always do. i’ll make sure of it.”
heeseung almost chokes on his own spit when you suddenly slip between his legs, “wha- what are you doing..?”
“did you not want my help? or did you forget?” you ask him, genuine confusion. “i-if you already-”
“no!” heeseung cuts you off, grabbing your hand with his. “i mean, i still do. i just didn’t think you were down.”
you rub your other hand up his thigh, fingers mere centimeters away from his crotch area. so close to where he needs you, yet so far. “of course i am. what good are best friends if they can’t help each other out?”
heeseungs breath hitches when your hand grazes the zipper of his jeans. he lets go of your other hand and you take it as a cue to keep going.
“just let me take care of you, hee.”
and for the first time ever, that nickname made his cock twitch.
just the view he had of you sitting pretty between his thighs, hesitant but still full of confidence as you softly palmed him through his jeans was enough for him to be leaking.
“can i…” you ask quietly, fingers on the button of his jeans. he nods once and gulps as you immediately pop the button open and move to the zipper. it feels like hours before you’re finally pulling his jeans down below his hips.
you can’t lie and say the bulge of his hardening cock, covered by his calvin kleins, wasn’t making your mouth water. you push his hoodie up slightly, the way your cold fingertips hit his lower stomach as you grab the waistband of his boxers has his stomach tensing under your touch. you let out a small gasp when his cock almost springs out of his boxers.
your best friend is packing.
heeseung almost chuckles when he catches your reaction.
“don’t laugh.”
“i’m not.”
“i can see it!” you argue back.
heeseung rolls his eyes, “please just continue.”
“i won't if you keep up that attitude. you know we have less than fifteen minutes.” you retort after hearing him scoff.
“i can miss rehearsals.”
“heeseu-”
“god, please let me just fuck your mouth.”
oh my god? were you supposed to be turned on? you bite your lip and look down in his lap, taking his cock in your hand with a soft but firm grip. you lean forward and let spit slowly drip from your mouth as you start pumping him.
heeseung lets out a quiet groan and you look up at him—wide eyes that are practically asking, is this good? you continue to gently fist his cock, getting him nice and hard before you start using your mouth on his.
“i hope you win.” is all you say before you kiss his tip and sink your mouth onto him.
the boy is practically seeing stars. you just started and he’s already moaning like a bitch. it felt so good, he can’t rip his gaze from you, watching the way your lips wrap around him tightly and your cheeks hollow out as you literally suck him in.
“fuck, like that…” his hand finds sanctuary wrapped around your hair, not yet pushing you down on his cock completely, but more so as guidance.
you let go out his cock with a pop and continue pumping him with your fist, licking the underside of his base as you make direct eye contact. he lets out a groan and lets his head fall back.
“you don’t have to hold back heeseung,” you mumble, but the lust was evident in your tone. “don’t be gentle, this is for you.”
“holy fuck, don’t say that.” you giggle at his response and smile against his tip before taking him back into your mouth. heeseung grips your hair tighter and pushes you further down his cock per your request. he can hear you inhale deeply through your nose as you attempt to take all of him. but of course you can’t.
you stroke what you can’t fit and let heeseungs hand guide you up and down his cock. he uses all self control to not thrust into your mouth. heeseung hisses through his teeth every time your lips tighten around the tip of his dick, feeling somewhat more sensitive than he usually is.
a guttural moan rips from his throat when your hand comes up to squeeze his balls, offering a helping hand in making him cum soon. time was ticking. but heeseung did not care whatsoever, especially after that move.
he almost wishes he knew how fucking good you were at giving head before all of this. your mouth was so warm, wet and tight around his cock–he was in heaven. heeseung genuinely thinks this is one of the best blowjobs he’s ever gotten. his hips buck, suddenly pushing his cock deep inside of your mouth and hitting the back of your throat. you cough around his cock in surprise but it only spurs your best friend on.
maybe it was the fact that you’re his best friend. sure, it’s not taboo by any means, but there are lines that are never to be crossed in these sorts of relationships–holy shit, heeseung was on cloud 9.
“oh my god,” he whines, “you’re so good at this. fuck–god, don’t stop.”
his words, his moans, his whines–they all send tingles down your spine and straight to your core. you can’t deny the throb in your cunt though.
you continue to squeeze and fondle his balls as you let heeseung completely guide your head deeper onto his cock, thrusting his hips upwards and meeting your mouth halfway. your other hand grips his thigh, keeping you stable and relaxed as he abuses your throat with the head of his cock.
the groan that leaves your mouth when he tugs your hair tighter is accidental, you look up at heeseung. he looks beautiful like this. a pink blush across his cheeks, damp forehead, and hazy eyes. you were surely dripping through your panties now.
“yeah? you like t-this too, huh?” heeseung spits out. now you’re almost jealous of every woman he’s managed to pull, because fuck did that just turn you on even more. “want me to use your mouth however i want?”
you moan in response, nodding your head. heeseung lets out a long exhale as he shoves your head down his cock again. tears line your eyes and threaten to spill over, trying to relax your throat to take him completely.
“y-you’re taking me so good, y’know that? so good, baby.”
immediately, your hand that was once on heeseungs thigh is making its way down and into your shorts. you were soaked.
heeseung lets out another choked moan when he notices your hand in your shorts, circling your clit as you let him fuck your throat. how badly he also wishes you would just take those stupid shorts off and let him see exactly what you’re doing, he yearns to see you play with yourself one day.
“playing with yourself while you let me use this pretty mouth…” heeseung groans, lifting your head for a mere second before pushing you down his cock again. your hand tightens around his balls and he almost whimpers at the sensation. “you like this just as much, fucking pervert.”
you let out a whine, tears falling down your cheeks, you were already so close.
heeseung gets rougher, guiding your head much faster than before. your lips were burning and there was spit completely covering your other hand. but still, you continue to suck and lick at his cock as if it were your last meal, letting him force his way down your throat.
“‘m so close. so fucking close.” now you're both whimpering. “fuckfuckfuck, gonna cum soon, baby. keep going, please, hah–you feel so fucking good.”
his words were enough for you to hit your peak, an orgasm washing through your body immediately. you’re squirming and whining, sending vibrations down heeseungs cock.
“ah, fuck,” he continues to let words fall out of his mouth in the form of broken moans, “y-yeah, ‘ts so good. feels so good.” heeseung suddenly pushes your head all the way down, your nose making contact with the soft hair as the base of his cock, and he cums.
thick, hot ropes of cum covering the back of your throat. you’re gagging and choking at the full feeling, wanting to pull back so badly, but he doesn’t stop–not until he’s milked dry.
after what feels like an eternity, he lets go and you pull back, gasping and coughing but swallowing most of his cum in the process. your hands fly to your neck as you massage it and catch your breath.
heeseung on the other hand was breathing heavily. that was the best orgasm he’s ever had.
“holy fuck.”
you look up at the male, who seemed like he was about to pass out, “hee, you have to go.” your voice is raspy and weak.
“i can’t.” he responds, out of breath. “that was amazing. i can’t move.”
you stand up and pull him up with you, balancing him when he stumbles forward. seriously, you have to go now.” now you’re putting his cock away for him, he hisses loudly at the feeling but you ignore it and zip up his jeans. “now.”
heeseung sighs and looks down at you, “did you.. get off like that?”
you tighten your lips and nod hesitantly.
“god. god, you’re amazing.” he breathes out, wanting nothing more than to throw you down on the bed and fuck you until he physically cannot. “please, please be here when i get back, i’m literally begging you.”
you nod at him, reassuring him that you’ll be here when he’s done as you usher him out of the hotel room. “i will, hee. just go.” you suppose this is what best friends are for after all.
“and do not show up to the comp tonight or i will be hard the entire fucking time.”

CW: Blood, vague gore (WILL NOT GO INTO DETAIL.)
The two soldiers continued to trudge through the knee high snow, leaving a dense trail alongside the human-like footprints, the one in the back, a young woman of 25 named Lucy, kept her G36 grilled tightly in her hands despite its chilling metal frame making her fingertips numb through her gloves. The other, a male of 24 names Gilbert, tried his best to keep calm as he kept his eyes peeled towards the horizon.
Their objective was still clear: To find the supposed second son of that eldritch bastard and contain it if possible before they freeze to death up in here in the middle of nowhere, Tennessee.
After a few minutes of blizzard-deafened walking, Lucy stops Gilbert by putting a hand on his shoulder off her rifle. "Frozen Blood." She shouted through the winds as she pointed her rifle towards the snow, now accompanying the barefooted footprints was a thin trail of red along the snow, most of it being quickly covered up by the fresh snow and leaving only drops to be seen. Gilbert nods in acknowledgement as they continue, with him now drawing the M9 pistol out of the holster on his thigh, just in case..
Only a minute more of walking was needed before they could make out a form in the distance.. a rather easy to spot one considering how much of it was just this very distinguishable pitch black. The form seemed to be in this hunched over kind of stance, lingering over something half buried in snow.
The two soldiers nodded at each other as they took up a steady, quiet approach, with Lucy preparing her black box... hoping nobody will have to recover it..
As they drew closer to the form, more details of it could be made out through the blizzard, it's vaguely human body, dense, snowed up fur of the same black tone, a pair of large ram horns. With a few more steps they could see some more.. intriguing details, the figure word these working jeans and a trucker cap despite the sheer cold, it had a simple leather messenger bag over itself and wore no shirt or jacket.
"You." Gilbert announced their presence as he called to the being. The being's head quickly piped up before it turned around to look at the two, a chunk of something in its mouth, a mouth lined with bloodied and jagged teeth.
The two soldiers, despite their experience with weird things like this, were taken aback by the lack of eyes or a nose or really any facial features on this being with only fur and a mouth present, it didn't seem to have ears even as nothing was present on either side of its head.
"Can I help you?" It then spoke after quickly swallowing whatever it had in its mouth, ignoring the weirdness of this situation, while its voice was gruff and coarse, it had this tone of formality to the vaguely masculine voice, taking the soldiers by surprise. "Well, um..." Gilbert's words began to fail him, not having expected actual conversation as usually announcing himself to their targets results in a firefight breaking out.
The being waited with this unique patience as it stood upright, revealing himself to be two or three feet taller than the pair, and wiped his mouth with his forearm. As Gilbert continued to try to find the words to explain their reason for being here, Lucy's eyes instead fell down towards what was behind the supposed second offspring, she could see a mauled carcass, of which she couldn't figure out what it could've been as it was now missing it's whole upper body and legs leaving only the lower half of a bloody carcass. Her best, hopeful guess is that it was some kind of deer..
The being continued to wait patiently, no sense of worry or hurry in his stance or demeanor, he in fact stood in a much more casual manner, having one hand on the messenger bag string over his torso. A puff of air coming out with each of his breaths despite having no visible nose or nostrils...
(will continue at some other time as I'm writing this at like 2 in the morning.)
“Are those fresh footprints?!” “Don’t worry, those don’t seem to be from a beast or animal just another person.” “Yeah, barefoot human footprints, in negative 25 degrees celsius, deep snow, in the middle of a goddamn blizzard!”

imagine gojo satoru who.....
imagine gojo satoru, who retired from the ceaseless chaos of jujutsu sorcery to finally tasting what it meant to live for himself. for the first few months, he ends up on an island, under these beautiful endless skies above him.
gojo satoru found that for the first time, the blue skies opened up wide for him, boundless in its freedom. he reached as far as he could and thought that maybe he finally reached his freedom, and his feet carried him far to feel it here, on this island.
satoru found himself that morning, hungry. and so he wandered into a quiet diner far into the island, the kind where the coffee pot was never empty, and the sun filtered through the blinds in golden stripes.
gojo satoru heard the bell above the door jingled softly as he stepped in, his cerulean eyes scanning the room, his gaze catching on the figure behind the counter. you.
gojo satoru found himself stopping at his tracks and felt his breath punched out of him as he saw you for the first time. you who looked like the sun beaming to him at first light.
satoru watched as you moved with a practiced ease, pouring coffee and chatting with the regulars, your voice a melody that hummed in the background of his thoughts.
it wasn’t the first time satoru had been awestruck by something owned by beauty, but this was different. you didn’t demand attention; you invited it, quietly, effortlessly. and you had his, happily.
satoru sat in the corner booth, the sun catching in his snowy hair as he watched you from behind his sunglasses. he told himself he was just here for breakfast, but the truth was, he was already trying to think of a reason to talk to you.
and when satoru finally found the courage to do so, he cleared his throat and asked if you had any recommendations for someone “new to town” such as himself.
you turned to satoru with a smile that made his heart trip over itself. a smile that he locked away for himself only. "why not the waffles? they're the only thing worth waking up for around here."
your warmth was easily infectious. by the time the check came, satoru truly didn’t want to leave, no. he wanted more time with you. he wanted to have more of the sun beaming on his desolate cold winter.
“can i—would you ever let me take you to breakfast? somewhere else? or just… let me see you again?”
satoru had felt the question lingered in the air for a moment, but your answer came with a lighthearted laugh that made his world tilt on its axis.
you smiled at him. “why not? tomorrow? i’m off at 8.”
that night, satoru lay in his motel bed, staring at the ceiling, replaying your laughter in his mind. for the first time in years, he felt something beyond survival or obligation. he felt hope. he felt like there was life to be lived.
the next morning, gojo satoru arrived earlier than he needed to, nerves humming under his skin. when you greeted him with that same bright smile, it was everything he’d hoped for.
you shared stories over breakfast, and when he tried out a joke he'd been too embarrassed to use before, the sound of your laughter became his new favorite melody. for once, satoru felt like he wasn’t carrying the weight of the world. you made him feel human.
but the morning after that brought an unexpected twist. the smile you greeted him with wasn’t laced with recognition. you treated satoru like a brand-new customer, your warmth the same, but your memory of him wiped clean.
at first, satoru couldn't help but think that it was a joke, but the way you tilted your head, confused but polite, made his heart sink.
“sorry, have we met before?” you asked.
satoru had tried to laughed it off, masking his surprise with charm. “i guess i’ll just have to introduce myself all over again.”
satoru ordered the same waffles, told a different joke, and earned the same radiant laughter. when he asked if he could see you again, your answer was the same: “why not?”
and yet each morning, satoru found himself in a loop. one that he could not escape. each morning, that same bell above the diner door jingled as he walked in, a nervous energy buzzing just beneath his casual demeanor.
still, every morning he looked forward to the same repetition no matter what. satoru looked forward to your warm smile which always greeted him the same way. he looked forward to your eyes lighting up as if you were seeing him for the first time.
every single day for you, it was the first time.
even if it wasn't like that for him whatsoever.
still, he never stopped reliving that life over and over.
it was worth it to him, to know that you smiled at him.
no matter how many breakfasts you’d shared, no matter how many jokes satoru would tell you, no matter how many times those jokes made you laugh until your bright eyes sparkled, the next day you never remembered.
every morning, satoru found himself starting over. he would smile and start introducing himself and figure out new ways to connect with you again, and trying not to let the ache of your blank stare settle too deeply in his heart.
satoru told himself it was enough. he told himself that as long as he could see you smile, he could handle the rest. but curiosity gnawed at him.
and one day, after another beautiful yet bittersweet breakfast, satoru finally worked up the courage to ask someone—a fellow server who had been watching him from afar.
“excuse me.” satoru began, his usual confidence faltering slightly. “i was wondering… does she—does she do this with everyone? forget them?”
the server, a kind older woman, sighed softly, her expression tinged with sadness. “you must really like her to come back every day, sonny.” she said, studying his face. "not many have the courage to do this, you know?"
satoru nodded, his voice quieter than usual. “i do.”
she hesitated, then gestured for him to follow her to a quiet corner. “it’s not my story to tell, but since you seem so determined… she was in an accident about a year or so ago. hit her head pretty bad. she survived, but… well, she can’t form new memories anymore."
satoru's brows furrowed. "what does that mean?"
"every day is a blank slate for her, sonny." the older woman says, somberly. "she remembers everything before the accident, but nothing after.”
the words hit satoru like a punch to the gut.
the server’s voice softened further. “most people don’t stick around when they find out. it’s hard. especially with this case, like loving someone who won’t ever remember you.”
satoru swallowed the lump in his throat, his hands curling into fists. “but she deserves to be loved.” he said, his voice firm despite the ache in his chest.
like i deserve to be too, despite who i am.
the server smiled sadly. “that she does. but are you sure you’re ready for this? it’s not an easy road to take.”
satoru didn’t hesitate. “i’m sure.......she’s worth it.”
from that day on, gojo satoru made it his mission to give you something new every day. every morning was a fresh opportunity. every chance he got, he took.
satoru would find himself looking for a new story to tell, a new joke to try, a new way to make you laugh. he started leaving little notes and drawings on the napkins you handed him, tiny treasures he hoped you’d find later and wonder about.
on particularly brave mornings, satoru would bring small gifts—a flower, a book, or something he thought might make you smile. he finds them when he thinks of you often. he thinks of you too much that it consumes him. and that was enough to sustain him.
satoru found that every single day with you was a gift. your reactions made his heart warm. every time, you reacted as if it was the most thoughtful thing anyone had ever done for you.
“thank you, satoru.” you’d say, your cheeks warm with a blush. “you didn’t have to do this.”
“i wanted to.” satoru would say in reply, his heart full despite the knowledge that you wouldn’t remember this tomorrow.
each day was a challenge, but gojo satoru faced it with the same determination he once brought to his battles as a sorcerer. except this time, he wasn’t fighting to save the world. he was fighting for a world he could live in together with you.
because even if you couldn’t hold onto the memories, gojo satoru knew that he was strong enough. he would carry them for both of you. and that, he decided, was enough.

There was something completely all-consuming about the thought of a tiny alien growing inside of a body. It made you uncomfortable, thinking about a tiny human with a deformed body and underdeveloped everything just existing inside of a person. To put it lightly, it freaked you out. It was possibly the best birth control for a 16-year-old seeing firsthand what it looked like when a baby kicked or hearing the sounds of first-trimester morning sickness. You’d made it very clear to your sister that yes, whilst you were willing to babysit once the deformed fetus entered the world and was slightly less deformed, you would take some responsibilities. You wanted nothing to do with it until it made its grand entrance into the world.
That didn’t change the fact that yours, your sister’s, and your sister’s fiancé’s lives had very quickly come to revolve solely around your future niece or nephew in a very short amount of time. Normally, it wouldn’t bother you in the slightest. If anything, you were usually doing anything and everything to get Sam and Kristie to leave you alone, but there was something different about their attention completely revolving around the life that the two of them were building together.
It hadn’t mattered truly when they’d missed your parent-teacher interviews for an anatomy scan or missed your first training with the senior Chelsea team because Kristie had woken up with such bad morning sickness that she hadn’t been able to leave the bathroom for hours, or when you’d had to walk 3 miles from school to the training grounds because your sister had been up so late trying to make Kristie comfortable enough to sleep that she’d completely forgotten that she was supposed to pick you up early on a Thursday so you didn’t miss training.
None of it mattered individually, but altogether, it made a difference.
It had been a big decision moving halfway across the world to live with your sister at 15. You were a good football player, you weren’t anywhere near the prodigy of your sister, but if you wanted to make strides in your career, it was the best decision to move to London to play in the academy. It didn’t make the decision any easier; you were moving in with your sister that you’d essentially not known for most of your childhood. Too wrapped up in her own career in other countries to spend any time with you. Yet the moment it had even been an option, she was ecstatic at the idea of you joining her in London, taking you under her wing, and truly welcoming you into the tight-knit family that Kristie and her had built in London.
It was good, it was so good. You had made advancements in your football that you didn’t think were possible; school was good, and for once in your life, you felt like you were actually in a place where you were fully understood and at peace.
It had been perfect, until Sam had torn her ACL a couple of months into your stay, and then things had gone downhill. It wasn’t anything you couldn’t deal with; in terms of the footballing aspect of your life, it was definitely tough. You didn’t have your training buddy or your person to help you settle into the club that still kind of terrified you. On the flip side, you got to spend a whole lot more one-on-one time with your sister, and her girlfriend was there to cater to all of your football needs. After the initial impacts of her surgery, life had mostly gone back to normal; sure, your sister wasn’t there physically on the pitch with you, but she was there to support you in every other way.
Then, the idea of a baby had been mentioned.
It wasn’t alarm bells from the beginning. At first, it had mostly seemed like an idea for the future, not near future. Of course, they wanted to start a family, and of course, you wanted that for them. It just hadn’t been made clear to you that it was a plan for the present. Until you’d been sitting on the couch on a movie night, and a gift bag had been thrust into your hands. The both of them had the goofiest smiles on their faces that you’d known that something had been up. You just hadn’t expected a positive pregnancy test to be the source of the excitement.
Initially, not much had changed. The pregnancy was so early on that the biggest worry was an early miscarriage and making sure that the three of you didn’t let the information slip too early.
It had been completely fine. Life had kept on moving, until the symptoms had started.
First, it was a bit of exhaustion, then some vomiting, headaches, nausea, more vomiting, migraines, insomnia, every possible pregnancy symptom you could think of. Kristie was afflicted by every possible pregnancy symptom.
You felt bad. Here, two of your favourite people were trying to start a family, and it was starting off as hell.
Then the feelings of sympathy had very quickly turned into resentment and then into isolation.
You resented the fact that you didn’t feel at home anymore. There was nothing homey about the situation you were living in. You felt like in a number of fleeting weeks you had gone from feeling on top of the world to feeling like you no longer belonged in the life that you’d so recently settled into.
It was a rough realisation to come to that you were no longer wanted, that you were being replaced.
It was a slow process, but it was easy to figure out when you were and weren’t wanted, and in the picture-perfect future life of your sister and her fiancé, it was clear that you weren’t.
You were 17, you were on the cusp of being an adult, you just hadn’t expected to be thrust into your independent adulthood so early on. A shiny new baby was going to replace you, and once that happened you were going to be even more unwanted than you already felt before it was introduced to the world.
Whilst you knew that your mood was being affected by the neglect you were suffering, it was all too easy to blame it on the exams you were going through for your last year of school, or the slight injury setbacks that were keeping you from your first minutes for the blues, or the fact that you were a teenager with fluctuating moods. You didn’t expect your slightly off interactions or slightly less happy demeanor to be a warning sign for anybody, specifically the people closest to you. Your performance on the training pitch had been as good as usual, you’d been saying all the right things, acting in all the right ways even though you actively felt like a stranger in the apartment and life you’d once felt like was home.
You’d managed to allude to all of the people closest to you, it just hadn’t occurred to you that people on the outside would notice your slightly off behaviour.
Lucy was one person at the club who was newer than you, even though you didn’t necessarily fit in with all the older girls due to the age disparity it was common knowledge that you were an extension of your sister, people who were friends with Sam were friends of yours. It was a little bit embarrassing that in hindsight most of the people were only friends with you as a result of your last name but it was easier to just accept it.
Lucy was one person that wasn’t particularly close with your sister, on no means were they enemies, they just didn’t hang out with the same people. If Sam and her didn’t interact on the regular then neither did you, that was just how it worked.
It’s why you’d been a little bit surprised when she’d asked you to be her spotting partner in the gym. A few sets in, though, it had become abundantly clear that Lucy had ulterior motives.
“So what does a kid like you do nowadays to have a little bit of fun, uh?”
You weren’t sure if spotting for Lucy was much help at all. There was absolutely zero possibility that if she failed, you were going to be able to lift the weight that she was pressing. The ease with which she did it all was shocking and enough of a focus for you.
“Play soccer for one of the best teams in England.”
Lucy laughs, even though all you’re doing is being honest. Between school, football, and trying to live up to the expectations of your sister, you don’t have time for ‘fun’.
“It must be hard, having so much pressure on you, so young?”
You shake your head. You don’t think of it that way. Pressure is privilege. That’s what your mom had taught you, and then your brother, and now your sister. Pressure is what had made you good enough to be where you were.
“It’s more pressure trying to decide what to have for breakfast in the morning than coming here every day.”
Lucy finishes her set and sits up, looking at you in a way that makes you feel like you have to ask.
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
Her tongue pushes against the inside of her cheek, and you get the feeling that you’re going to be told something you don’t want to hear.
“You’ve been acting differently lately, spacey, less present. I’m just wondering if there is any particular reason.”
You focus on switching the weights from Lucy’s bar to yours and lying down on the bench she’d previously occupied.
“I don’t know what would give you that impression.”
You focus on your set, and Lucy uses it as an excuse to stare at you in the exact same way she had been all morning.
“You look like a kicked puppy all the time. You’re less happy, less comfortable. You look like you’re on edge all the time.”
It’s a list of traits that probably suit you. You’ll admit that you’ve been less than enthusiastic in recent times, but you hadn't thought it had been extremely noticeable. Sam hadn’t noticed, not that she noticed much about you anymore.
“Didn’t realise you were so focused on the team protege, Bronzey.”
Like Sam, you were a pro in humorous deflection, yet when you spoke it came off with an unfamiliar edge that made you uncomfortable.
“I’m worried about one of my teammates and friends because they’re exhibiting behaviours that are unfamiliar for them and no one else seems to be noticing.”
You finish your set and focus on drinking from your water bottle and not making too much eye contact with Lucy.
“Lot of big words coming from you, Luce.”
Lucy’s determination doesn’t fade. She looks at you the same way.
“So it’s not football. I’m going to make an educated guess that it’s not school. You’re going to be an aunt and you’ve got a good family situation. What is it?”
You must flinch, even if you don’t feel it. You must because Lucy’s eyes light up.
“So it’s Kerr household issues then?”
You focus on finishing your set again. You focus on the feeling of your arms pushing and relaxing, the feeling of all your muscles stretching and slackening.
“You know you can talk to me about it. I might not have the best advice, but I won’t judge you or go and tell your sister about it or anything.”
You finish the set, and all that’s on your mind is that you have one more to go. One more and you can remove yourself from whatever this awkward conversation is and go and hide in some other corner like normal.
“I don’t know what makes you think it’s any of your business.”
You’re three reps in, nowhere near failure, yet on the next one, Lucy takes over and pulls the bar up and onto the rack.
Before you can have a go at her, she sits down next to you on the bench, and for whatever reason, puts an arm around your shoulder. It makes you incredibly uncomfortable, and you flinch away almost immediately, but Lucy doesn’t shy away.
“Look, whether it’s from a teammate to another teammate, or a friend to a friend, or whatever you feel most comfortable calling it. You don’t seem like you’re doing okay. If I can tell, it’s not going to be long before other people figure it out. I don’t really know you properly, but you seem like a good kid. You also don’t seem like the kind of person who likes to be vulnerable in front of people you don’t trust. If you don’t let go of whatever has clearly been bothering you, then that’s probably the inevitable if you don’t talk to somebody about it or get it off your chest. That person by no means has to be me or anyone else here. Just think about it, okay? You’re not alone. I can’t imagine how hard it would be playing here and everyone constantly making you feel like you were in your sister’s shadow. You aren’t just your sister, though. People around here like you beyond that, and they’re here to support you beyond that. You aren’t your last name.”
You’d be a liar if you said that Lucy’s words didn’t hit you a little bit, but you didn’t let her see that. You shook her arm off you and rolled your eyes.
“You have no fucking clue what it’s like to be me. Don’t try and make it out like you understand.”
Before she could say anything else that remotely played on your heartstrings, you walked away, dragging your drink bottle and gear off to the other side of the gym and settling into whatever exercises for your ankle strength.
You didn’t like to admit it, but what Lucy said to you resonated with you for the rest of the day. It had you in your head, thinking about it over and over again. You were second-guessing everything, and it translated out onto the pitch. In training, you were sloppy, to the point of nearly injuring yourself due to a lack of awareness. If you were trying to prove that you were over your setbacks, then it was a clear testament to the opposite. You were evidently a shit show. It was what was expected of you. You were a teenager. You were expected to crash out, to not be able to live up to the constant expectations of being a professional every day. You were falling into the one stereotype that you spent every minute of every day trying to claw away from. Already consumed by the reality of your stupifying family situation and adding on self-doubt about your every action was a whole new mind game that you’d never truly experienced.
There was one part about what Lucy had said that had stuck with you the most. If you didn’t get it off your chest soon, it was inevitable that you were going to let it slip in far worse ways, and that was a slippery slope you had no intention of going down.
It wasn’t surprising that your sister wasn’t there to pick you up after training had finished. There was a slew of excuses that trumped you. You were used to being forgotten. As the reality of new life being brought into the Kerr household became more real, it only felt like you were fading further.
You didn’t want to go home, not to a place where you actively felt like an impostor. You didn’t have many people to lean on, though. As much as Lucy tried to make it out like you were an individual person at Chelsea, you weren’t. You were Sam Kerr’s younger sister, the baby of the family, the nepotism sister, riding on your sister’s success and reaping whatever benefits came from it. You were a complete result of your sister, stuck in a never-ending cycle of following her footsteps.
In Australia, you’d had individuality, your parents’ sole focus. Your football wasn’t as good, but you hadn’t questioned your existence or how you fitted into spaces. Yet in England, or with your sister, you had to second-guess everything, were forced to feel like you didn’t belong anywhere.
You didn’t want to go home.
There weren’t a lot of people in London you could call. A couple of months ago, Kristie was your go-to person for when your sister was tied up with her stuff, but with the baby on the way, Kristie’s sole focus had been shifted. You didn’t matter in comparison. Sam’s friends were like family, but they weren’t your family; they were people that had to like you because you lived with Sam and were with her all the time. You hadn’t made many friends at Chelsea; it didn’t seem important in retrospect. It left you with a handful of people. You could always call your mum or someone else in the family, but it seemed pointless in that there would be no outcome. So you called the only person that was really left.
It had been a long shot; St Albans wasn’t exactly in close proximity to Cobham, but you felt like you were at a crossroads.
You’d had to wait outside in the cold for a while, but it wasn’t awfully long until Caitlin pulled up in front of the training grounds. Before you could second-guess your decision-making, you got into her car, buckling your seatbelt before looking at her.
“Just drive, I’ll exp n later.”
Caitlin got the message and pulled her car into drive before heading back onto the highway.
“Where we going? Yours? Mine? An airport?”
It was hard not to laugh at the predicament.
“Just yours.”
The rest of the car ride was silent; it was good, it was hard for you to slot every feeling into place, but it was good to think about it all. You felt like a whirlwind of feelings, a big spiral of never-ending emotions that were completely nonsensical.
By the time you get to Caitlin’s house, not much was making any more sense, but you felt less panicked. You walked from the car into her house in the same silence that had stretched between the two of you the whole car trip. In through the front door, into the kitchen, and sat down at the island when Caitlin pointed at one of the seats. You felt like you were cemented to the seat, all of the weight of the day, or really the last few weeks, was weighing you down like there were rocks stuffed in your pockets. You felt heavy, filled with all of the uncertainties.
Caitlin pushed a glass of water towards you, and you took it gratefully.
“Are you going to tell me what’s wrong?”
You’d been around Caitlin practically since birth. As a kid growing up, you hadn’t wanted to be around your sister; it had always been her best friend that had lit up your face. She was your sister’s best friend, but in every way, she was a sister to you; you’d spent every moment of your childhood following the two around and every waking moment with them when they were around.
“I can’t just spend an afternoon with my favourite auntie?”
Caitlin rolled her eyes, reaching over the table to ruffle your hair.
“Of course, you can, dickhead, but that doesn’t mean that you are. Something’s up, and if you called me, then that means you want to talk about it because it has something to do with Sam.”
Were you really that easy to read? First, Lucy, and now Caitlin. You were beginning to doubt your abilities to keep all of your cards to your chest.
“That’s some creepy shit; you should become some mindreader.”
Caitlin rolled her eyes at you.
“Tell me about it; I can’t do anything in this house without her sniffing it out.”
You turned your head to see Katie standing in the doorway of the kitchen, smiling at you, but mostly at Caitlin.
“Ya didn’t tell me mini kerr was coming over.”
You tried to stop the way your face flinched at the sound of your last name. You didn’t know why in recent times it had begun to bother you so much. It was just so synonymous with your sister. Every time you heard it or saw it on your jersey, it was a clear sign of the one thing you were becoming most afraid of. You weren’t living up to it or living the life of it.
“Just wanted to spend some time with my favourite derby losers.”
Katie’s reaction is visceral. Her face moves into something of pure disgust.
“That kind of slander is just not acceptable in this house. You want to embrace your Chel-shit culture? Keep it away from our house. We’re going to have to sage the bad vibes away now. Do a full cleanse.”
At a point in your life, you’d never felt less Chelsea than you did right now. The thought of the club put you on the brink of dissociation.
“Katie, can you please go get some pasta? We’re all out, and I’m making bolognese for dinner.”
It was a cue. You were sure of it because as soon as the words left Caitlin’s mouth, Katie was nodding dutifully and off and out of sight.
“Are you going to tell me what’s up or keep dodging around it?”
With your lip between your teeth and so much uncertainty, you nodded. There wasn’t much point in keeping it all in when you’d come here with the inadvertent intention to offload some of it.
“Sam doesn’t want anything to do with me. When I got here, it was hard. We made it work, and she tried to make me fit in with her life as it was, but it never quite felt right. But with the baby now, there’s no pretending. I’m not a part of her life, and she doesn’t want to pretend that I am anymore. And I’m sick of waiting in the background, hoping she’ll get her shit together and remember that I’m part of her life. She doesn’t care about me, and I can’t handle it anymore.”
Caitlin’s expressions are schooled. They are most of the time, but she doesn’t give anything at all away.
“Your sister loves you a lot. I’m not invalidating what you’re feeling. I am sure that you’re right. She loves you though. Before you came here, all she ever talked about was wanting to spend more time with you, going back to see you, Facetiming you.”
You shake your head. You didn’t come here to be told that you’re loved. You came here to feel a little bit less chained down.
“No, she doesn’t, or she doesn’t show it remotely. She doesn’t pick me up from school. She forgets me or stopped caring because she’s busy looking after Kristie or busy being worried about the baby, stressing about the baby. It’s all they talk about. It’s all they care about. It’s the shiny new toy, and I’m the old one at the back of the wardrobe that’s all broken and disgusting. I’m the last option. I’m the last option at Chelsea, the last option at home, the last option for everybody, and I can’t physically handle it. I’m done constantly being left on the fucking sidelines of life whilst everybody else plays.”
Caitlin nods. She listens. It’s what you need. You just need to feel listened to.
“Your sister should be focusing more on you. She doesn’t realise that you didn’t move for independence like she did. When we moved for football for the first time, it was because we finally wanted independence. We wanted freedom. We wanted to feel like adults. You want to feel supported, want to feel like you’re a part of a family. You’re feeling that whilst your sister is simultaneously beginning to start her own family, and that’s scary. I would be scared by that if I were you. You’re seeing the cementation of new roots, and in your eyes, you don’t fit into the foundation that they’re building. There’s one thing that hasn’t changed about your sister since we were 18, and that is the fact that she’s a little bit unobservant. She doesn’t do small feelings. She does the big ones. She doesn’t understand the anxieties that you’re experiencing because she doesn’t experience them. Also, whether you want to admit it or not, I think you might be a little bit jealous of this baby. You didn’t get to spend your childhood with your sister. That was stripped from you when she moved away. This baby gets all the attention and all the love and doesn’t get left behind, and that’s tough.”
You are a little dumbstruck for words. It’s been hard to pinpoint all of your feelings, and yet Caitlin has just laid them all out in front of you.
“I’m not jealous of the fetus.”
Caitlin snorts, a proper snort that has you in fits of giggles.
“Not even a little bit?”
You shake your head defiantly. It’s easier to deny than admit it.
“Because think about it. This time you’re like the older sister. That kid won’t want to be spending time with Kristie and Sam. It’ll be fawning over you from day one. Babies take a village. I know you feel on the outs right now, but when that baby comes, it’ll change.”
It’s easy to say that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but in your opinion, there really isn’t. You can’t see any future where you feel any less of a misfit.
“It’s not just Sam though. It’s everywhere. I don’t have friends, not at Chelsea. I’m my sister’s shadow, I always have been, but since the move, it’s been worse. I can’t make friends at school. I’m there purely to go to class, and I miss half of them anyways. Everyone at Chelsea sees me as my sister. I’m just an extension of her. Everything I do that is any good is because of her. Nobody can see past it.”
Caitlin didn’t have a quick answer for you. Your eyes burned with angry, hot tears. They were yet to spill, but they were on the brink, and it was impossible to ignore.
“I can’t get away from my sister’s shadow, and it would be fine if I felt like I was a byproduct of her, if she spent every waking moment helping me be that way. But she hasn’t. It’s all been me. It’s been my hard work, my own push. Sure, she’s helped me into environments that have made me better, but it’s been my hard work. She hasn’t done shit, and yet all anybody says is that I’m good because of her, that I’m just a result of my sister’s influence. I’ll always be a shadow of her to everyone, even her.”
It’s a cathartic feeling. The tears slip down your face. You push and scratch at your cheeks, trying to remove the evidence, but it’s obvious. It’s ugly. It’s everything that’s been building.
Caitlin doesn’t say anything. She just walks around the counter and gives you a big hug.
“You are a lot more than your sister, and if people don’t recognise that, then you should be getting away from that, taking a break. You deserve to feel like your own person because you are.”
You don’t have anything left to say. You’ve laid it all out, and it feels good, but there isn’t any change. Venting is good, but when you’re going to go back to it all, it doesn’t truly matter. You’re stuck in the prison of your life, and there is no escaping.
“I’m sure you’re exhausted. How about you go and take a nap before dinner? Refresh and let your mind rest, and we can regroup, okay? I promise you we can find a solution to some of this.”
You nod; you are feeling tired. It’s been hard to sleep at the apartment with Kristie constantly getting up during the night to hurl her guts.
Caitlin’s guest room is warm, it’s nice, it’s virtually the same as your room at home, and yet it feels so much more welcoming. It doesn’t take you long to drift off.
When you wake up, it’s very clear that quite a few hours have passed. Not only is it completely black, but the sleep in your eyes and fogginess in your head is enough of an indicator that what was going to be a quick nap had turned into something a lot longer. The edges of your vision are hazy and blurred as you blink your way back into consciousness. You don’t want to get up, not at all. It would be so much easier to just stay where you are, forever. Just stay lying in bed and warm and cozy, comfortable. You didn’t get to where you were today, though, by allowing yourself to be comfortable.
So begrudgingly, you pulled yourself out of the bed, still dressed head to toe in a Chelsea tracksuit and hoodie. It really did feel illegal amongst all of the Arsenal memorabilia in every corner, and on every wall of the house, it only made you feel like more of a dichotomy.
Your stomach began to rumble as you walked down the stairs to the kitchen. You were sure that you must have missed dinner but hoped that maybe something had been left aside to tide you over.
You could hear murmurs coming from the kitchen, and in your state of half-awakeness, you’d put it down as being Caitlin and Katie.
You were off guard, and that’s why you’d been more shocked than you thought possible when you walked into the kitchen and your sister was seated in the exact same place you’d been sat a couple of hours ago. Immediately, both Caitlin and your sister’s eyes were on you, them both seeming just as surprised as you.
You were ready to bolt, but Caitlin’s voice stopped you.
“Your sister came to talk to you. She was worried when you weren’t home tonight for dinner.”
You roll your eyes, if you’d moved out a month ago Sam wouldn’t have noticed.
“We haven’t had dinner together in months, don’t lie to my face. You called her, you fucking called her, I trsuted you with something and you called her.”
Sam looked like she was going to butt in but Caitlin stopped her.
“Okay, yes I called her. Because I was worried but also mad and I wanted to fix that. I’m going to leave you two to sort this out.”
Caitlin started to walk towards you and out of the kitchen, you couldn’t help but clutch for her hand as she walked away.
“It’s going to be fine. Trust me and listen to what she says and tell her how you feel. She came here to fix things, or start to fix things.”
Caitlin closes the kitchen door leaving just you and your sister alone with each other.
“Just because we don’t have dinner together doesn’t mean I don’t notice when you’re done. Mum would kill me if I wasn’t keeping an eye on you and let her baby sneak out.”
It was the connotation of it all, Sam didn’t care, she was doing all of this for your mum.
“I’m so sorry mum decided to burden you with my presence.”
Your sister exhales, like she’s trying to keep control, because she feels she has to.
“That’s not what I meant. You matter just as much to me as you do to mum.”
Rich. Really rich coming from her.
“Oh yeah, so that’s why mum calls me everyday to ask me about my day and how I’m doing and you just exist beside me. When was the last time you talked to me about anything besides football or the baby or Kristie? When was the last time you did anything with me that wasn’t related to football. When was the last time you asked me anything about my life or even acted like you cared?”
Sam exhales again, and breathes in like she’s trying to suck in every bit of oxygen in the room.
“It’s not like that.”
You didn’t want to be angry about all of this, sad, disheartened, depressed. You could deal with that, but anger was so much harder.
“Oh tell me how it is then. I know you didn’t ask to be looking after your teenage sister fulltime but you could at least pretend like my presence isn’t a complete burden to you. I fucking idolised you my whole childhood, when we had dress up days at school I would always dress up as you. I’ve always wanted to be you, and I was fine with everybody putting me into the box of Sam Kerr’s sister, I didn’t care, if anything it was the best feeling in the world. I didn’t care about being your shadow when you were my favourite person. But now that I’m here you’ve wrecked it all. You don’t have to tell me that I don’t fit into your picture perfect life, I’m well aware. I just didn’t expect you to treat me like fucking shit. I’m sick of it, I want to go home, I’d rather jeopardise my football career by going back then deal with anymore of this.”
Sam looks like she’s about to start crying and it feels good, you want her to feel what you are feeling, you want her to feel an inch of what you’ve been feeling for the past months.
“You aren’t a burden to me. Not at all.”
You scoff, you aren’t a burden but she just opts to forget your existence, makes a lot of sense.
“Okay so am I a ghost then? Do I have the ability to turn invisible and nobody has told me about it because you sure fucking act like I’m not here 95% of the time.”
Your sister stands up and starts to walk towards you and you immediately move. You don’t want touch or hugs or whatever she’s going to offer.
“I’m sorry if I’ve made you feel that way. I’m really sorry.”
You really don’t know what to say to that. It’s a step forward but it doesn’t do anything, saying sorry is good and well but it doesn’t change an action.
“I thought you came here for independence. God mum made it out like you were going to blow perth up if she didn’t get you out soon enough. I’ve wanted to be close to you since you were born, you were the light in all of our lives. Then you were here and I underestimated what it was going to be like but it was awesome and just having you in the house made it all so much better. Kristie and I had always wanted kids but having you around just made it seem like it would be the right fit, you have made our lives so much better. So, we started the process and it was all I could think about. I was your age when mum had you, I got to see you take your first steps and grow your first tooth and I thought it would be good for you to have the same experience. I just didn’t get how much time it would take up and how consumed with it I would get. You don’t deserve to feel this way, you don’t deserve to not feel cared for. I love you more than anybody else, I would put down anything for you, without a question. I haven’t made it seem that way recently but it’s true. You’re my priority, you always have been and you always will be. I don’t want you to go back home, having you here has been the best thing that has ever happened. I don’t know how i;m going to fix this but I’m going to. I’ll maker the changes, I’ll talk to Kristie, I’ll spend more time with you like I did before.”
So many feelings, so little words.
“You don’t get me. I don’t want you to give up time, Kristie is the love of your life, this baby is going to be your kid. Your kid, not your sister, your kid. I don’t want you to detest me because I take away moments from your life.”
Sam shakes her head.
“You are just as big a part of my life as anything else is. You fit into it all, if I haven’t amde you feel that way that is completely my fault.”
It’s nice to hear her say that, it’s nice to feel accepted even if it’s just for a second.
“It’s not just that. I am literally your shadow. I don’t have any friends at Chelsea, everyone thinks I’m good because of you. Kerr is plastered everywhere and I’m just synonymous with all of your achievements. I don’t get to be me, the only difference is the different first name letter on our jerseys. I’m a good football player, because of me, not because of you. I’m sick of everyone telling me that I have a good right foot because my sister is Sam Kerr, or that I must have gotten my good defending skills from practicing with you. Everything has to be because of you, and I can’t handle it. I don’t have any friends that aren’t yours, my life is a by product of yours and I’m done with it being that way.”
This time when Sam takes a step towards you, you don’t immediately step away. Her presence doesn’t bother you, it’s the look on her face.
“Okay, we can fix that. You want to quit? Move clubs? Go on Loan? I can talk to everyone at the club and make changes. Wew can change jerseys, you can have your first name and not last name. You should spend some extra time with the younger girls, stop feeling restricted by what I do and don’t do and just live your life. I’ll tell everuone how much of a fuckup I am and how you are skilled because of you. Whatever you want, I am here to support it. I haven’t done that enough recently and it needs to change, I want to make you my complete priority. No more forgetting you because I’m being selfish and only thinking about myself. My asshat behaviour ends now, I promise. What do you want, I will try my hardest to help you get it. I can call our agent right now and you can be playing in a different country.”
You shake your head, a small smile working it’s way to the corners of your mouth at your sisters franticness.
“I don’t know, I have no fucking clue what I want. I just want you to know, I want help, I want to not feel like shit everyday just because of who I am.”
Sam nods, and reaches out for you. The hug is easy, it’s cathartic, you feel so much pressure releasing from your body as her arms tighten around you.
“Okay, I can do that. We can do that. You and me yeah, you and me against the world.”
It’s not even close to fixed, your life hasn’t changed. But the overall weight, the soul crushing pressure of it all fades. You don’t trust, you don’t trust her to make changes. She hasn’t earnt that trust but you hope, you fucking hope that maybe something is going to happen.

Even if it was in a different way, you had a hard time refusing him when he used the same charm tactics as his twin brother.

“That’s a big deal.” He hummed, sympathizing with you to make you feel better. “Bloody inconsiderate, if you ask me.” But you weren’t asking him, and somehow his justification of your feelings only made you feel worse. “What? Not allowed to speak my mind?”
HE REALLY SAID SIS LOUDER AND
“If you’d rather, we can forget the elixir and grab dinner instead. I’m not Fred, but I’m pretty damn close.” He gave you a cheeky smile, earning an honest laugh from you.

“I was not getting sloshed, I was doing business.” He corrected, defensive over the fact. “S’pose you were hoping I’d take a little longer, yeah? Give you some more time to cozy up with my brother?”
“Blimey, Fred. If you took any longer, I’d imagine you’d have to move in with the lad.” George took your side on the matter. “At least she wouldn’t have to worry about you missing dinner again.”
👏THAT👏PART👏 RIP HIM TO SHREDS GEORGE. ANNIHILATE THAT GINGER GIT
“Yeah, right. What else did he fill in for, sweetheart? Anything you think I should know?”
“Yeah, but I bet you would’ve let him, right?”
EXCUSE ME
He grabbed your hand, spinning you back around to face him. He pulled you into him, his athletic build never leaving him even after he stopped playing quidditch.

“Bitching and moaning cause I couldn’t be home to take you to dinner… if you were so upset, why didn’t you come to me, princess? Tell me what was wrong?”
❓❓❓❓ DI BALE SANA NANDITO KA???? HELLO
(tr: NEVERMIND IF YOU WERE ACTUALLY HERE. and the pick is let's go stupid/idiot)
You could smell fire whiskey on his breath, feeling his chest heaving with anger against your own. As angry as you were, you couldn’t help but feel a rush of arousal run through you. The slight sneer on his face, the fire in his eyes, and the protective hold he had on you was sending your head spinning with thoughts much less pertinent to the topic at hand.
I fear I may be quaking in my boots... It's not the only thing quaking.
“See, Princess? She’ll always tell me the truth.”
NO CUZZZZ
His grin faded, slowly sinking into a scowl as your disobedience remained clear.
I love icarusing myself WHAT ABOUT IT WEASLEY
“So you don’t care who’s between your legs?” He continued, unrelenting as you stared him down. “Doesn’t matter who, as long as there’s a cock in you? As long as someone’s taking care of your pretty pussy?”

“Doesn’t matter, sweetheart. When I’m done with you, I’ll be the only person you can think of. Surely then you won’t be able to forget who you belong to.”
Raw. Next twin.
“My little whore needs more?”
“Asking a lot from someone you aren’t being very good for.”
Brat tame me then 🙄✋ I dare you also
Silently, he sunk to his knees between your legs, pulling you to the edge of the table by your hips. He didn’t spare a single glance at your face before his tongue connected with your core, the warm wetness of his tongue even more pleasurable than the rough pad of his thumb.
VIOLENTLY SHAKING IM ILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
“Oh, god.” You gasped, your legs resting over his shoulders in attempt to stop the constant trembling of the lips. “I’m yours, Fred, fuck!” You exclaimed, a sheen layer of sweat forming over your forehead as the knot in your belly began to tighten. “Only you can make me feel this good. Nobody else.” You whined, your fingers tightening on the locks of hair as you began to tug at the strands. You could feel him smiling against you, happy to finally hear you admit the truth.
UghhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHH SO GOOD NEXT TWIN LMAO HAHAHAHHH
Green-Eyed Monster | F.W.
For the first time ever, Fred Weasley finds himself jealous over the only person in the world he needn’t worry a bit about.

first hp fic in a very long time! what better to post than this mess (jealous, possessive, sexy mess). basically pwp—let me know what you think! (Barely edited at all lmao my apologies)
You sat quietly at George’s desk, eyes focused on a piece of parchment as you both tried to break down the recipe George had scribbled down. There was a hiccup, a hitch in the plan of brewing a batch of Euphoria Elixir for the joke shop, and it was pushing back your plans to place them on the shelves this week. After a few hours of quiet deliberation on his lonesome, George decided to seek your help in hopes of speeding up the process.
So, the two of you put your heads together and re-read the ingredient list a million times, wondering how the hell it turned out murky green instead of sunshine-y yellow. The cauldron sat smoldering across the room, a rain cloud above it as the bubbly mixture spilled over the sides. Upon first glance, you had stated the absolute obvious.
“Isn’t that supposed to be a rainbow?” You raised an eyebrow, looking at your brother-in-law as he collapsed in his chair.
“Yes, you git.” George rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest. You shot him a sharp look, warning him to be nice if he wanted your help. You knew George didn’t mean any of the insults—he was simply frustrated and maybe even a little embarrassed that he could not figure it out by himself. “Sorry, Y/N.” He conceded, realizing he came on a bit too strong.
“S’alright.” You assured him, stepping towards the desk where he sat. “Where’s the ingredient list? We’ll start there.” You offered, knowing you would help no matter how poor of a mood he was in. You loved George almost as much as you loved Fred, if you had to compare. Even if it was in a different way, you had a hard time refusing him when he used the same charm tactics as his twin brother.
After spending so many years in a relationship with Fred, it would be obscure for you not to have a bond with the closest person to him. Over the years, he’d surpassed a friend and had grown into your own brother. You were certain that no matter where life took you and Fred, George would always hold a special place in your heart. When the two opened their shop in Diagon Alley, you volunteered most of your free time to help them in any way you could, and whether it was tweaking new products or doing some of the dirty work, you never really minded.
That evening in specific, Fred was off on some ‘official business’, which really just meant meeting with a potential product buyer at The Leaky Cauldron. Last month, George took the burden of doing so, and they decided it was only fair for him to do it this time. Unfortunately for you, as much as you loved supporting them, it did interfere with your evening plans with him. So, sulking and trying your best to swallow it down, you distracted yourself with stocking shelves downstairs to prepare for another busy day ahead.
You were actually near grateful when George emerged from the office, calling out to you in desperation. It gave you a break from the monotonous back and forth, and someone to talk to. If it could not be Fred, you decided George was the next best.
“So, what’d’ya think it could be?” George asked, peeking over the cauldron that was still spitting back at him. He dodged out of the way, trying his best not to get any of the splashback on his new jumper.
“Well, from what you’ve told me, seems like you put all the right stuff in.” You deducted, pursing your lips slightly as you read over the list for what seemed like the millionth time. “Sad as it sounds, I doubt we can save it now, even if we figure out what happened.” You said, recalling your potions knowledge that Snape had relayed over the years.
“Right, but I’d like to know what’s wrong before I try again.” He explained, taking a moment to look over your sad expression. His eyebrows furrowed, his head cocking to the side as he tried to figure out where it was coming from. “What’s got your knickers in a twist?” Your eyes flickered upwards to meet his, your cheeks tinged red from the heat of the room. Your lips dipped into a frown as you shrugged your shoulders, brushing him off so you did not need to explain yourself. “I know you better than that. Come on, now.” He urged, placing his palms flat against the desk as he leaned towards you, a challenging look in his eye.
You narrowed your brows, keeping a stony expression as you met his gaze. “What’s it to you, Weasley?” You shot back, unsure of where your defensive nature was coming from. Perhaps you weren’t willing to discuss your relationship problems with your boyfriend’s twin brother, or maybe it was because you felt foolish for being upset at all.
“Reckon we’re past that, hmm? Your problems are our problems, and all.” He responded, also unsure of why you were being so reserved with your thoughts. Usually, you were an open book, especially with the two of them.
“My problems aren’t your problems, Georgie.” You shook your head, shutting down the ridiculous notion. “Let’s get back to the real problem, yeah?”
“No, I don’t think so.” George disagreed, his concern now over something completely different. “Is it about Fred?” At that, the tips of your ears began to burn and you shifted uncomfortably in your seat. “Ah, I see.” A devious smile crossed his lips.
“It’s not a big deal.” You covered your tracks, tapping the ink-less quill against the worn parchment.
“I have a hard time believing you, considering you just lied to me.”
“Lied is a strong word,” you rolled your eyes, quickly realizing that there would be no escaping the conversation. “I didn’t lie about anything.”
“What’s he done?”
“Nothing!” You exclaimed, a dry laugh leaving your lips. “It’s just… I’m just being dramatic.” And it’s true, you were being dramatic. Well, maybe not fully, but that’s what you were trying to convince yourself of. “I just miss him, I suppose. I know you both have been busy, but I think maybe I underestimated how busy you would actually be.” You continued, knowing it was wrong to confide in his twin brother about your relationship issues. Still, it felt good to get it off your chest, to voice the concern and have someone shoot you down, just so you knew you were being irrational. “This is the third night in a row we’ve canceled our plans. I’ll get over it. It’s no big deal.”
“That’s a big deal.” He hummed, sympathizing with you to make you feel better. “Bloody inconsiderate, if you ask me.” But you weren’t asking him, and somehow his justification of your feelings only made you feel worse. “What? Not allowed to speak my mind?”
“No—“ you let out a defeated sigh, slumping down in your seat. “I know that, but I was hoping you would tell me I’ve gone mad, instead.”
“Blimey, Y/N, you’re allowed to be upset. We're busy, yeah, but you’re still his girlfriend.” George said, jumping slightly when the rain cloud above the cauldron let out a crack of thunder. “If you’d rather, we can forget the elixir and grab dinner instead. I’m not Fred, but I’m pretty damn close.” He gave you a cheeky smile, earning an honest laugh from you.
“S’alright, Georgie. Thank you, though.” You appreciated his kindness, but you were sure it would only make your predicament even worse, considering Fred’s recently acquired short-fuse when it came to you and George spending so much time together. It was odd for him to be so protective, so jealous of the one person in the world he needn’t worry about, but it seemed as though the new trait was permanent. Perhaps it came from the fact he was also missing you due to your busy schedules, and how it sometimes seemed you and George were most often left at the shop alone.
“You know, I have noticed that lately.” George continued, leaning against the desk as he reminisced over the last few weeks. “Always seems to be us stuck here together.”
“Mhm.” You mumbled, slowly realizing that you weren’t as insane as you previously thought if he was noticing all of the same things. “Let’s just figure this out so I can get home.”
So you did. A grueling hour spent recounting George’s every step in brewing the elixir left the two of you puzzled and even more frustrated. By that point in the night, you were hunched over the long list of his steps you had jotted down so you could (hopefully) discover what he missed.
“I dunno, Georgie.” You sighed. “Seems like you did everything—“ you cut yourself off, leaning closer to the page on the desk as you caught something you hadn’t seen before.
“What?” He asked, his head snapping towards you. “What is it?”
“You said when you let it simmer, it was turquoise.” You said, looking up at him.
“Yeah, so?” He replied, confused why it was such a big deal.
“It’s meant to be blue.” You explained, a grin on your face as you relayed the information to him.
“Turquoise… blue… same thing, innit?” He asked, standing and walking over to you.
“Maybe to you.” You giggled, pointing to the piece of paper where he missed the step. “After you add the shrivelfig, you have to stir it until it changes color.” He walked up behind you, placing one hand on your arm as he leaned over your opposite shoulder. He smelled of butterbeer, likely due to the one he’d been nursing the entire time you sat together. You immediately noticed the warmth of his body, how similar it felt to how Fred touched you, but how drastically different it was all the same.
“Blimey, you’re right!” He exclaimed, his voice still soft so he was not yelling in your ear. “What would I do without you?” He gave your arm a gentle squeeze, leaning closer and pressing the side of his face to yours in a makeshift hug. His hand dropped to your back, lingering there as the conversation continued.
“It’s nothing, really.” You smiled, closing your eyes to enjoy the warmth for a moment. “So now you know. You can do it again, but make sure to stir it until it’s blue. By tomorrow, we’ll have it bottled and on the shelves just like we planned.”
“Our number one girl, saving the day yet again.” He sighed in relief. “I better get to it—“
Before his thought could finish, the door to the office swung open, cutting him short. Your eyes turned upwards, landing on a slightly drunken version of the boyfriend who’d abandoned your evening plans. The gloss of his eyes and the goofy smile on his lips led you to believe so, and the redness on the apples of his cheeks only solidified it. Only his cheeky grin didn’t last too long when he processed the scene in front of him, how close the two of you were, how heavy George’s hand seemed on your back and how rosy your own cheeks were.
Quickly, his jaw tightened, his gaze narrowing as he tried to decipher the whole situation. His nostrils flared ever so slightly, and his arms raised to cross over his chest. Immediately, you knew what you’d be in for; a long, tiresome argument that changed absolutely nothing. Instead of fighting the silent accusations, defending yourself for no real reason at all, you watched him with the same intensity while you awaited a snide comment.
“So what’s all this, then?” Fred asked, his face clearly conveying all of his emotions.
“Helping Georgie make the elixir while you were off getting sloshed at The Leaky Cauldron.” You muttered, noticing George straighten himself up in hopes of avoiding any further damage.
“At least she wouldn’t have to worry about you missing dinner again.” At that, Fred’s eyes cut to you, immediately understanding where the underlying tension was coming from.
“Is that right?” Fred’s voice was no louder than a whisper, all of the pieces clicking together in an instant. “I don’t suppose the two of you had dinner? Let him fill in for me while I was gone?”
“No, we did not.” You snipped, standing as you gathered the ingredients for George’s second attempt at the brew.
“Yeah, right. What else did he fill in for, sweetheart? Anything you think I should know?” At that, your eyes widened and your face turned red. Your entire body felt like it was engulfed in flames, appalled that he would even think such a thing.
“Piss off, Fred.” You muttered, stepping out from behind the desk as tears stung your eyes. George shot you a sympathetic look as you pushed past his brother and out into the stairwell. You trodded down to the main level, swiping fallen tears away from your cheeks as you rushed out the front entrance of the building.
The cool air of the night was nice, especially after spending so long cramped up in the tiny office space, but it was not as freeing as you might have hoped once you heard footsteps following behind you. Without acknowledging him, you pulled your keys from your pocket, hoping that maybe he forgot his own set and you wouldn’t have to deal with his drunken arguments tonight if you got inside before him.
Of course, you knew that was childish and cruel, because despite being upset with him, loving him was the only thing you knew how to do. You unlocked the front door, holding it open with your boot-clad foot as he stumbled his way behind you. As soon as he passed through the doorway, you continued on your journey to ignore him and tossed your keys on the counter.
“Hey,” Fred reached out, his warm hand landing on your arm, stopping you from running any further from him.
“What?” You snapped, immediately regretting the harshness of your tone. He recoiled at the sound, shocked that you spoke to him in such a way. Usually the two of you saw eye to eye on everything, and in your long standing relationship arguing had never been your thing. Until you left school, you were certain the two of you had never been angry at each other, ever.
“What the bloody hell was that about? I leave for a few hours, and the two of you get on like that? Does that happen every time I step out?” You couldn’t help but roll your eyes again, wondering why this became such a problem in the few short months you’d been graduated.
“Merlin, Fred. You’re acting like you caught us in a broom closet.” You tried again to make your way to the bedroom, unwilling to argue a point he knew was blasphemous anyhow. “We were working, not fucking.”
“Yeah, but I bet you would’ve let him, right?” He grabbed your hand, spinning you back around to face him. He pulled you into him, his athletic build never leaving him even after he stopped playing quidditch. “Bitching and moaning cause I couldn’t be home to take you to dinner… if you were so upset, why didn’t you come to me, princess? Tell me what was wrong?” You could smell fire whiskey on his breath, feeling his chest heaving with anger against your own. As angry as you were, you couldn’t help but feel a rush of arousal run through you. The slight sneer on his face, the fire in his eyes, and the protective hold he had on you was sending your head spinning with thoughts much less pertinent to the topic at hand.
“Maybe I would have if you spared me the time of day.” You argued, finding yourself short of breath as you realized just how much he towered over you. “But, as it seems, you’ve been too damn busy to spare me a second glance.”
“Christ, when did you get so needy?” His rebuttal came easy, like he’d been waiting to have this fight for weeks. “Weren’t satisfied at home, so you thought my brother could do it for you?”
“Are you daft?” You hissed, feeling his fingers tighten on your hips. You hated that the feeling made you forget about your troubles, urging you to push the argument to the side and settle it in a better, more pleasurable way. “If that’s what I wanted, you think I’d be up here arguing with you?”
“That depends, sweetheart. Were you planning on getting caught?” He raised an eyebrow, the thud of his heart against his chest letting you know just how worked up he was. There was no way he truly believed you would do that to him, especially after all you had been through together. You wondered if maybe the lack of time spent with each other was getting to him, souring his thoughts because he missed you just as much as you missed him. “We may be identical, Princess, but he could never give you what I can.”
You hated to admit it, but for some strange reason, jealousy looked really good on him.
“What, a headache and a poor mood?” You decided to play his game if he wasn’t willing to listen to reason. If he wanted to fight, you could do it too. “I’m sure he could manage. In fact, he could probably do a hell of a lot more.” That seemed to strike a nerve in him, pushing him over the edge in an instant and changing the entire mood hanging heavy in the room. He no longer wanted to talk, but rather prove a point.
He took a step backwards, never easing his hold as he pushed you towards the kitchen table. He didn’t stop until your ass hit the edge, a mischievous look in his eye replacing the earlier annoyance. He had you locked in place, no intent to back down as he stared down at you over the bridge of his nose. Then, a small smirk turned the corner of his lips, leading you to believe he was also thinking of a much more simple way to solve your problems.
“Maybe you just need a reminder of who you belong to, yeah?” He asked, his voice quieter than it was before. You felt your mouth run dry, your eyes never leaving his as a dull ache between your legs began to pester you.
That would make you feel better, but he had pissed you off enough that you wanted to refuse him the satisfaction.
“Maybe we should get Georgie up here. According to you, he’d be the one to set me straight.” There was a slight venom in your tone letting him know you wouldn’t be letting anything go so easily. A low chuckle shook his shoulders, his eyes gleaming with a sinister look you weren’t sure you’d ever seen from him before that night. He shook his head ever so slightly, playing into you as he reached one arm behind you.
Your heart raced as you awaited a response, wondering if maybe you pushed him too far and crossed a boundary you could not double back on. You didn’t have to wonder long, because without a second thought, he cleared all of the items littering the table with one swift move of his arm. Papers scattered everywhere, floating through the air and landing all over the floor. Broken products and half finished merchandise for the shop tumbled off the edge, falling less than gracefully onto the tile below. Without ever breaking eye contact, he raised an eyebrow, daring you to say it again.
“You think he can fuck you better than I can?” He asked, giving you the opportunity to change your mind.
“Right now? Yeah.” You spat, wondering if he’d ever drop the act and get on with his day. “Seems like all you want to do is get on my nerves.”
“Yeah?” He challenged, his face so close to yours you could feel his breath on your skin. The tip of his nose grazed your own, his normally warm and comforting irises engulfed by his lust-blown pupils. Or perhaps it was anger that gave him the new look—you weren’t quite sure. “You’d rather go home with him at night? Wake up next to him every morning? Is that really what you want, princess?” He taunted, knowing very well that your heart was his, even if he found himself caught up in a few moments of doubt.
Still neglecting to give him any gratification, you nodded your head despite the sickening feeling that washed over you at the thought. As if he called your bluff before you ever said it aloud, he laughed at the certainty in your action, which only seemed to anger you further.
“If that’s the case, seems like I’ve got my work cut out for me tonight.” He responded, brushing the comment off as if it were nothing. If there was one thing Fred couldn’t ever turn down, it was a challenge, and since coming upstairs with you, it was only further proven to him that’s all this was. “Maybe I’ve gotten too comfortable, sweetheart. After so long, you think you’d know that you’re mine, huh?” Before he continued his tyrant, he used his hands on your hips to lift you onto the table with ease. The ache between your legs had grown stronger, more intense and impossible to ignore. You could feel the wetness soaking through your panties, and the thought of his strong arms lifting you so carelessly only made you spiral further. “Maybe I expect too much of you.” He theorized, recognizing the gleam in your eyes because he’d seen it a thousand times before.
He let his hands trail under the hem of your jumper, settling on the button of your jeans as he undid it with ease. You never let your eyes trail from his face, realizing that no matter how upset you were, it could never take away from how much you loved him. He was beautiful, his fiery red hair and the freckles splattered across his cheeks and nose creating a perfect picture. The softness of his complexion and the gentleness hidden deep in his expression assured you that whatever the two of you were doing was nothing more than an act. He knew you were his just as well as you did, but he knew the only way to settle the (admittedly, misguided) fear was to hear you say it aloud.
You helped him pull the fabric from your legs, wrapping your arms around his neck as you lifted your hips from the table. He discarded the clothing on the floor, paying no mind to it as he returned his hands to your bare legs. His eyes searched your face, carefully looking for any sign of discomfort. Instead, he was met with a pleading expression that only seemed to fuel his too large ego even further.
“No matter,” he disregarded his earlier rant, his eyes growing heavy as his hand fell between your legs. His fingertips grazed the thin fabric separating him from your core, a shiver running down his spine as he noticed the arousal that had soaked straight through. “I don’t mind having to show you. Least I’ll get to have my fun too, yeah?” He applied slight pressure to your aching clit, watching to see your reaction. Your eyebrows knitted together, your lips parting slightly as your hips moved forward into his hand, your body betraying your mind and begging him for something more.
At that, a grin encased his face, happy to see that he hadn’t lost his touch, even if your lives were vastly different and ever-changing by the day. He knew exactly how to make you feel good, and he took pride in it.
“See, Princess? She’ll always tell me the truth.” He taunted, his voice quiet as his eyes trailed down to his hand. You swallowed hard, knowing he had you in a stalemate. “Tell me again, who do you think knows how to make you feel good? Who does it best?” He was on a power trip, unwilling to slow down until he heard you admit it. Still, you stood your ground, pressing your lips tightly together so not a single sound could pass through. His grin faded, slowly sinking into a scowl as your disobedience remained clear.
He removed his finger from you, tracing the hem of your panties as he hooked his finger through the side of the fabric resting on your hip. He awaited an answer, giving you the opportunity to change your mind. When you kept your stoicism, he gave one, hard tug on the lacy fabric until it snapped in two. He used his other hand to do it to the opposite side, giving himself easy access to you without hearing a complaint on your end.
“So you don’t care who’s between your legs?” He continued, unrelenting as you stared him down. “Doesn’t matter who, as long as there’s a cock in you? As long as someone’s taking care of your pretty pussy?” Your cheeks flushed, your chest burning as the filthy words washed over you. “Doesn’t matter, sweetheart. When I’m done with you, I’ll be the only person you can think of. Surely then you won’t be able to forget who you belong to.”
His hand connected with your bare cunt, his fingers trailing through your arousal and settling over your clit as he began to trace slow circles into the sensitive area. Your legs trembled at the contact, finally feeling some relief from the nagging sensation that had been taking over.
“Fuck. Fred.” You whispered, giving yourself away immediately. He let out a low hum, pleased with the sound and knowing he was the reason for it. He had you where he wanted you, and now he just had to keep up the pace. You could feel his hardening length against your leg, distracting you completely from the pent up anger and frustration.
“That’s it.” He encouraged, his middle finger sinking inside of you as he let his thumb take over on your clit. “That’s my girl.” He made sure to accentuate the claim, never once letting you forget it. “All you needed was a little help remembering.” Slowly, he pumped his finger into you, keeping time with his thumb as he began to work you towards a climax. “You want to say it for me? Tell me what I already know?” Instead of responding, you let out a whine, your hips bucking forward into his hand. Although it wasn’t what he was looking for, it was just enough for him to keep going.
He curled his fingers as he pumped them into you, begging for a reaction as your hand wrapped around his bicep for support. You felt the tense of his muscles as he worked at you, only pushing you closer to insanity. You were his, undoubtedly and wholeheartedly, and you would be crazy to ever want anyone else.
“Stubborn little thing tonight.” He remarked, his eyes focused on the point in which his hand met with you, never breaking his stare as he watched his fingers disappear into you. “What’s gotten into you?”
“Need more, Freddie.” You replied, your eyes squeezed shut as you felt the pleasure pulsing under your skin. It had been a long time since you felt him this way, and your impatience was quite clear.
“My little whore needs more?” He teased, applying a little more pressure with his thumb. A gasp fell from your lips, sending your upper half leaning forward until your forehead rested against his. “Asking a lot from someone you aren’t being very good for.” He chastised you for your behavior despite being the one that caused the problem in the first place.
“M’sorry, my love. S-so sorry.” You rushed out, his fingers brushing against the sweet spot inside you only he knew how to find.
“That’s not what I want to hear sweetheart, and you know it.” His tone was firm, unrelenting as he continued his torment. You let out a groan of frustration, wishing he’d quicken the pace and give you what you wanted, even though you refused to give in to him.
He leaned forward, closing the gap between your mouths as he grew tired of waiting for the words he wanted to hear. He tasted like the whiskey that had been fuelling his poor mood, sweet and bitter all at once as his tongue grazed your bottom lip. You hated how easy it was for him to turn you into a mess, hated how easy it was for him to make you forget you were angry at all. You pulled him closer to you, holding his arm tightly so he would not pull away. You were stubborn, but despite that, you were showing him everything he wanted to see through your actions alone.
You broke from the kiss as a particularly intense wave of euphoria pulled your stomach. Your forehead continued to rest on his, holding you upright as he continued to give you just enough to keep you satisfied.
“Say it, princess.” His voice was low, raspy and laced with desire as he watched you turn into a mess below him. “Tell me you’re all mine. Tell me I’m the only one who can make you feel like this.” Instead, you connected your mouths again, letting a desperate moan out at the same time. He drank in the sound, his cock throbbing as his hips jutted forward into nothing. He was almost more desperate than you were, which only allowed for you to take him less seriously.
“G-gonna have to try harder than that.” You found a peculiar pleasure in leaving him on edge, giving him a taste of his own medicine as he continued to torture both of you at once. “Show me why I should say it, Freddie. Seems like you’re all t-talk.” You stuttered, tripping over your words as you tried to keep your composure.
He withdrew his hand from you, making you cry out in frustration from the loss of pleasure. Your eyes met his, desperation written all over your face as you protested his actions. Silently, he sunk to his knees between your legs, pulling you to the edge of the table by your hips. He didn’t spare a single glance at your face before his tongue connected with your core, the warm wetness of his tongue even more pleasurable than the rough pad of his thumb.
You laid back on the table, your hands sinking downwards and tangling in the soft locks of hair. Although you were denying him of the statement he wanted to hear, you could not deny that your last argument was wholly untrue. Fred was determined to prove a point, and he was doing it well.
You weren’t far off from an orgasm, his tongue making quick work at pushing you to the edge. The sounds falling from your lips were telling of your current state, and as delirium began to set in, your defenses began to break down.
He suctioned his lips around your clit, adding his fingers to the mix and returning to his earlier pace to torture you further. Every nerve in your body was ablaze with desire, need seeping from every pore as you realized just how badly you needed the release. Sick of the game, you finally broke in fear he would leave you hanging yet again.
Pleased with your confessions, he curled his fingers against your g-spot one last time, generously giving you the very thing you’d been pleading for. In a mess, your entire body tensed as the pleasure took hold. The orgasm washed over you, leaving your heart racing against your chest and your head swirling with filthy thoughts for the boy between your legs. A hum of approval let you know he was more than happy with your performance, and he kept his pace until he felt you relax against the table below you.
Once he knew he’d gotten the most out of you, he rose to his feet, towering over you as you laid below him. In the dim moonlight, you could see your orgasm glistening on his chin, only furthering his cockiness as he ran his tongue over his bottom lip so he did not waste a drop of it.
“Always taste so sweet, princess.” He whispered, using one hand to free himself from his pants and his boxers. “And it’s all for me.” He continued, slipping his shirt from his head. He used it to wipe his face clean before tossing it on the floor to join the growing pile of clothes. With shaky hands, you lifted your upper half from the table and pulled your own jumper over your head. “Isn’t that right?” He stepped toward, settling between your legs as his hands ghosted over your bare thighs.
You let out a whimper, his grip landing on your already sore hips as his eyes raked over your entire frame. Your gaze flickered to his cock, hard and aching for relief as he continued to tease you. His fingers tickled your stomach as he trailed his touch upwards, his palm landing flat against your breast as he gave it a gentle squeeze. He let the pad of his thumb brush over your hardened nipple, sending another wave of pleasure through you.
“Answer me, sweetheart.” He wasn’t playing anymore; he wanted to hear the words, and he was done with your obstinacy. He pinched your nipple between his thumb and forefinger,
“Yes,” you huffed, already forgetting the pleasure from your first climax as a whole new wave of need began to take over. “I’m yours, Fred. All yours.” You reiterated your earlier statement, now willing to do whatever he wanted of you to prove the point.
“Tell me how bad you want it.” He shot you a twisted little smile, almost as if he was getting off just from the thought of you begging for him.
“I need it, baby. Need to feel you, please.” You whined, reaching for his arms and pulling him closer. “Want you so bad, Fred. Been waiting all night for it.” You felt the tip of his cock connect with your cunt, his expression faltering as soon as he felt the wetness.
“God, you make it so hard to be upset with you.” He hissed the words through his teeth, using his hand to guide himself through your folds as he sucked in a sharp breath. He settled himself just over your already sensitive clit, pushing his hips forward ever so slightly to apply pressure to the spot. “Sound so pretty when you’re begging to be fucked.”
Slowly, he let his tip run back through your arousal, settling the head just at your entrance. He pushed himself forward, but just barely. You whimpered as you braced yourself for the feeling, only to be let down when he stopped himself from going any further.
“Fred,” you warned, catching his eye so he could see your desperate face. You hoped that if he did, he would stop being such a tease. “Please fuck me.”
“What was that?” He smirked, turning his head slightly so his ear was closer to you. “Didn’t quite catch it.”
“Fred, stop—“ you cut yourself off, letting out a huff of annoyance. You knew chastising him for his actions would only make him less likely to give in, even if it was incredibly hard to hold it back. “I need you to fuck me.” You repeated, clearer and louder in hopes of swaying his decision. “Can’t wait any longer, baby. Please.”
At that, he pushed forward the rest of the way, sending your entire body raising with goosebumps. The stretch as he filled you was exactly what you craved, and as he reached the hilt, his tip brushed against your g-spot so delicately that it almost made you come undone right then and there. Your eyelids grew heavy with satisfaction, focusing on how full you felt with him inside of you, knowing that he for certain would always be the one for you.
“That good enough for you, Princess? This is what you wanted?” He asked, letting himself rest inside you for a moment. He felt your walls flutter around him, pulling him even further and making it harder for him to resist you.
“Mhm,” you hummed, giving him a tired nod of agreement. You could feel him throbbing inside of, desperate for a release just like you had been moments before, but he was still trying to prove his point.
“Nobody else gets to have you like this, sweetheart. You’re mine.” He whispered, now sober from the alcohol but intoxicated by an even stronger, deadlier force; you. “He couldn’t fuck you like this, and you know it.” As he spoke, he withdrew his hips and slammed them forward into you again. The action stole the breath from your lungs, twisting your stomach with pleasure as your nails scratched over his skin.
He began at a pace, slower than normal but the force behind his movements making your head spin. You moaned quietly, lost within the feeling of being so close to him. He never failed to take your breath away, never failed to amaze you with his every move. You were so in love with him it sometimes felt like there was no room within your heart for anyone or anything else.
“Tell me, Y/N.” He ordered, his stare never wavering as he fucked into you. As much as he wanted to succumb to the sensation of you wrapped around him, he found it hard to push the thoughts of your earlier arguments out of his head. “You think he’d fuck you like this? You think he could make you feel this good?”
“No, Freddie.” You gasped, feeling the strength of his thrusts increase, sending the legs of the table wobbling. His fingers tightened on your hips, likely leaving behind angry red marks that would fade into reminders of him for days to come.
“That’s it, Princess.” He panted, his chest heaving as he tried to resist the pull of pleasure. “Don’t you think, not even for a second, that anyone can give you half of what I can.” You both knew this to be fact; nobody in the entire world could ever compare to him. “And why do you think that is?”
“‘C-cause I’m yours,” you managed to stutter out the response, watching him as the statement washed over. He brought his hand to your thigh, your legs wrapped tightly around you as he pulled you back on him with every thrust. His head fell back on his shoulders, the dim light of the room casting a beautiful hue over his already breathtaking features.
“That’s right,” he grunted, slamming his hips forward again. There was a thin layer of sweat sheen on his chest, the toned muscles of his abdomen flexing every time he moved. The exposed columns of his neck made your mouth water, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he swallowed back his own groans of pleasure. “Was that why you were mouthing off? You just needed someone to take care of you? Just needed me to fuck you?”
“God, yes.” You moaned, feeling the pressure in your belly begin to reach a peak.
“You gonna cum for me, sweetheart? All over my cock?” He smiled, looking down at you so he could appreciate the view. “Come on now, making a fucking mess of it.”
“Fuck,” you whimpered, his words hitting you hard and causing the tightening knot in your belly to tense even further.
“That’s my pretty girl. Just like that.” He continued to encourage you, studying your expression as pleasure began to twist it.
It didn’t take much more for you to descend into another orgasm, your entire body quivering as you cried out for him, singing his name like a hymn and he was the god in which you prayed to. Your throat was raw, raspy from the constant string of moans passing your lips. You were tired, almost too fucked out to continue on, but he was having none of it. He didn’t slow his pace as you came down from the high, instead speeding up and ensuring that he pulled your entire body down on him as he fucked into you.
“Freddie, please.” You breathed, feeling the threat of overstimulation begin to creep in. He would have had sympathy had he known you couldn’t take it, but he was confident in your ability to keep up with him.
“What’s wrong, Princess? Wanted it so bad and now you can’t handle it?” He asked, his eyes glazed over with lust as he felt himself approaching his own orgasm. You frowned at his words, now on a quest to prove your own point as you tried to ignore the stinging beginning to set in.
“I can t-take it.” You huffed, a shiver running down your spine as he reached upwards and palmed your breast. He gave the supple flesh a gentle squeeze, his eyes closing in bliss as he let himself slip out of the persona he had created.
“Being so good for me—just a bit longer now.” He whispered, his voice far away as his eyes settled over your face once more. “Bloody hell, Y/N.” he groaned, his forehead creasing as his eyebrows furrowed together. “You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”
He slipped his hand between your legs, his thumb landing atop your clit. He traced slow circles, knowing you were a bit further behind him and unwilling to climax without giving you at least one more. He could see how tired you were, but it did not deter him from his commitment to pleasing you.
“I love you, Fred.” You whispered, softened entirely by the sweet look in his eyes. All of his previous anger fled, leaving him just as the boy you’d fallen so hopelessly for.
“I love you, sweetheart.” He hummed, his hips stuttering and his stature faltering. “Give me one more, yeah? I know you can do it.” And he was right, your entire body was ablaze with another orgasm much more powerful than the last two.
“Together?” You gasped, reaching up and settling your palm on his cheek.
“Yeah? You want to cum with me?” He encouraged your train of thought. “Want me to fill that pretty cunt? Really show you who you belong to?”
“Fuck yes, please.” You cried, your fingertips tangling in the locks of hair hanging over his ears. Your walls clenched around him, drawing him in and effortlessly finishing what you had started.
You felt his hips stall, a low growl leaving his lips as he pulled you down on him one last time. He managed to whisper your name as he spilled his release into you, the feeling of him filling you completely sending you spiraling on your own accord. You let out a defeated sigh, the tail end of it turning into a whine as your body went rigid. Your nails scratched at the skin of his arm, your hand on him the only thing keeping you tied to earth instead of floating up and through the clouds.
The both of you rode the high together, euphoria infiltrating every nerve in both of your bodies as he leaned down towards you. Ever so gently, he laid his head on your chest, which was still heaving as you tried to catch up from the lack of oxygen. He placed a plethora of small kisses against the warm skin, his eyes fluttering closed as he appreciated the comfort that came with your company.
Silence hung heavy between you for a few moments, neither of you sure where to go from there. You were still strung out on bliss, barely remembering what got the two of you in the position until he spoke again.
“M’sorry, sweetheart.” His voice barely broke through the room, so timid and shy that you almost missed it completely. “I know you’d never do that. Just got in my head, I s’pose.”
“I… I get it.” You sighed, twisting a lock of his hair. “If I walked in on that, after us being so.. you know. I’d likely feel it too.” You confessed. “I was upset that we had to cancel dinner. I am upset, but not at you.” You tried your best to explain yourself despite exhaustion eating away at your mind. “I’m just upset because I miss you. You’re so busy now, and I’m happy for you, really, but I miss you too.”
“You think I was bloody happy about it?” Fred chuckled, the tip of his fingers tracing shapes into your skin. “I’d much rather be here, with you.” At that, you relaxed completely, understanding that you had gotten too far into your own head. “It’s my favorite place to be. Always has been.”
“Mine too, Fred.” You hummed, smiling softly at the thought.
“I reckon I was a bit jealous, ‘specially at the thought of you and George spending so much time with each other. Would rather it be me, you know, sitting at the shop and laughing with you all night… taking you out for dinner… loving you.” Another gentle kiss was placed to your chest, just before he looked up to meet your eyes. The soft, warm, familiar sight made you feel at ease. He was back to being your Fred, the one you missed all along.
“Darling, you have nothing to be jealous about.” You promised, smiling as he placed a quick peck on your lips. “Though, if it means we get to have brilliant sex like that, by all means do what you have to do.” You explained. “Bloody brilliant, at that.” Without any further words, the two of you descended into a fit of laughter and the clouds that previously hung above your head seemingly cleared in an instant, easily proving to him there was really never a need to worry at all.

THEY FORGET YOUR ANNIVERSARY
↳Fem! Non MC Reader | Angst w/ comfort | NOT PROOFREAD
Lies were the very thing you were feeding yourself with when you heard no response from your partner, cause surely there was no way he had forgotten the anniversary of when you both got together.
You sent out your usual good morning text to him but many hours have passed by to the point where the sun was currently setting. You had your message chat with him opened, staring at it hoping it will somehow lead to him miraculously messaging you back. But to no avail, your text remained unanswered.
You release a deep sigh and close your phone. You needed to distract your mind off of your current situation so you decided to go outside for a walk to clear your head. You were enjoying the breeze until you heard a familiar laugh, the laugh that belonged to your beloved.
You turned around to see him walking alongside his colleague, mc. They looked so happy and perfect together, as if they were destined to be together. Oh, you thought to yourself while your heart shattered into a million pieces. You couldn’t bear to witness the scene before you anymore so you quickly left.
You made it back home and slammed the door shut. That’s when everything you held back in you just came falling apart. Your body trembled as your legs gave out on you, you landed on the floor with a thud as the tears started to roll down your eyes. You don’t even know how long you were crying until the door opened with the very man you were despairing over.
“Honey I’m home-” That’s when he realized the current state you were in, he quickly rushed over to check up on you, “What’s wrong my love?” He asks so softly while his hand reaches out to attempt to wipe away your tears. You were quick to smack his hand away and turned your head away from him.
Shakily letting out a breath of air, you turn back to look him straight into his eyes with fury, firmly declaring, “Let’s break up.” His eyes immediately widened as he frantically grabbed your hands. “Please don’t say that, at least tell me why.” He looked at you with those dangerous puppy dog eyes of his that were brimming with tears.
You scoffed and yanked your hands away from his, “Isn’t forgetting our anniversary and hanging out with another girl reason enough?” He goes quiet and you can’t help but let out a bitter laugh, “You got your reason, now leave.”
You couldn’t stand the sight of him anymore and you were ready to get up but he pulled you down towards him, tightly wrapping you into his embrace. “Hey! What are you doing?! Let go of me!” You protest as you squirm in his arms. “Please,” He lets out weakly, “Just listen to me.”
Seeing that you weren’t protesting anymore, Xavier continued on, “While I have no excuse for forgetting our anniversary, I was only with mc because we were assigned a mission together and were just catching up afterwards.” “You looked a little too happy, you were giggling with her and all” you huffed. “She was teasing me about you and saying how cute we were together. You should know that I have eyes on no one else but you.”
“And yet you forgot our anniversary.” “...There’s no arguing that, I’m sorry.” He truly looked so sad and his signature puppy dog eyes were back and working its magic on you, “Please let me make it up to you.” You sigh, giving in to his pouty state, “Alright” He immediately brightened from this word alone “But you will have to do your best because you are still not forgiven.” “I promise!”
He kept his promise as he surprised you the very next day with a beautiful arrangement of flowers (that he harassed Jeremiah to help him with over night, poor dude does not get paid enough), spoiling you with all of your favorite food (he wanted to cook and bake everything himself but we all know why he decided to order delivery instead), gifting you a matching set of necklace (His had your initial while yours had an X), and of course caring to all your needs.
You decided to go visit Rafayel instead of just waiting around for a response that you won’t be getting anytime soon. However, once you got to his studio you came to realize that he wasn’t home either. Strange, you thought to yourself. Where could he be at this time?
The only person that could possibly know your boyfriend’s whereabouts was Thomas so you went ahead and gave him a call. To your luck, he was quick to pick up, “Sorry to bother you Thomas but do you happen to know where Rafayel is?” “I’m not exactly sure where he is right now but I remember mc saying she was going to pick him up.” “Oh…thanks for letting me know.” “Yeah no problem.” He says while you quickly say bye to him and hang up the call.
It took everything in you to not lose your mind right now. The grip you had on your phone was so intense it probably wasn’t far from being broken into pieces. You tried calming yourself down and decided to settle on his couch for the meanwhile. You were going to wait until he came back.
It felt like an eternity waiting for Rafayel to come back, your mind kept spiraling the more the seconds passed by and you just needed him to hurry up so you could confront him and get it over with.
As if your prayers were heard, the door to the studio door opened and in walked your beautiful boyfriend, well soon to be ex boyfriend accompanied with his bodyguard. His eyes were quick to find your figure sitting on your coach and he jumped back in surprise, “Oh you scared me, what are you doing here cutie?”
That’s when he noticed the nasty glare you were giving him and your arms crossed over each other. He mentally panics, Uh oh, I fucked up. “Oh you should be scared, Rafayel.” He felt chills go down his spine from your cold words. That’s when mc awkwardly coughs and speaks up, “Uh I think I’ll excuse myself” before she quickly dashed out the door leaving you two in awkward silence.
Rafayel was quick to rush to your side, dramatically dropping down to his knees and planting his face into your lap. He lifts his chin up and looks up at you while begging for forgiveness, “Please forgive me cutie, you can do whatever you want with me just please don’t be mad anymore.”
His eyes were filled with despair as he waited anxiously for your response, his pout deepening the longer you delayed your response. “I’ll let you guess what you did wrong.” His brain freezes as he tries to come up with all the possibilities. You grabbed his chin to force him to look into your eyes, “You forgot our anniversary and chose to go out with that bodyguard of yours.”
He mentally curses himself, “I’m sorry cutie, I’ve been working on this piece for the past week nonstop and got the dates mixed up, I swear it wasn’t on purpose. The reason I was out with Miss bodyguard is because I was getting some materials to finish up my piece.”
Without even waiting for your response he got up and dragged you along with him to unveil the canvas that was hidden underneath a cloth. You could tell that it was unfinished but it was no doubt that what he painted was you. You unconsciously let out a gasp because you couldn’t believe what your eyes were witnessing.
Rafayel has painted you in a way where no one else in this world can ever come close to replicating, he drew your likeness in such an ethereal way that it left you speechless. “I- Is this how you see me?” He nods, “I’m ashamed to show you the unfinished product but this piece doesn’t even come close to showcasing your beauty, you continue to inspire me everyday cutie so I hope you can forgive me.” You threw yourself at him and crushed him into a hug. “You are more than forgiven, I love you so much Raf.” He plants a kiss on your temple, “I love you so much you don’t even know.”
Sighing, you went along with your last resort, calling Greyson. You dislike wasting their precious time when they’re on the clock but you’re sure Greyson can spare you maybe a minute or two compared to Zayne. Your heart drums even faster as the seconds prolonged from him picking up the phone.
Finally you hear Greyson’s voice fill your ear, “What’s up?” “Sorry to bother you Greyson but I just wanted to know how Zayne was doing.” “It’s no bother really, he actually left a while ago.” “Oh is that so?” “Yeah, his last patient today was mc and they left together about maybe forty five minutes ago.” You remained silent as your mind started coming up with different scenarios, you were quickly pulled out of your thoughts by Greyson calling out to you. “Sorry about that, thanks for telling me, have a good night.” “You too.”
Then the call ends, leaving you alone with all your doubtful thoughts. You sat at the couch waiting there for Zayne to come back but as the hours passed you were hopeless.
You don’t even know what time it was or when you even fell asleep but you awoke to keys jingling and the front door opening. You slowly got up and walked up to him, “How come you’re home so late?” “Sorry about that, mc invited me over for dinner since grandma Josephine wanted to see me.”
“Well you could’ve told me ahead of time, I wouldn’t have made dinner and waited on your return then” your words came out a little harsher than you wanted and Zayne took notice. You walked over to the dining table to clear out all the food and he followed after you to also help.
That’s when he freezes, in the middle of the table sat a cake with the words ‘Happy Anniversary’ in your handwriting. He looks up at you but you pay him no attention. “You made this cake?” You look back at him with cold eyes, “Yeah but it doesn’t matter anymore, you can toss it out since there’s nothing to celebrate.” You were done putting everything in the fridge and you walked out of the kitchen. “I’ll be heading to bed first, I’m taking the guest bedroom.”
Before you could take another step Zayne reaches out and grabs your hand, you were too tired for this. You turned around and looked him in his eyes while you pried his hand off yours, “Can we not do this right now? I’m exhausted and don’t want to deal with this.” “Please”, his hazel eyes were swimming with regret as they pleaded with you to listen. You manage to grumble out a “You have five minutes.”
“It was not my intention to forget our special day, I’ve been overwhelmed recently with work and it all messed with my head. I'm truly so sorry and I know empty words won’t do anything for you at this moment but I will make it my duty to make it up to you just please don’t leave me, you’re the only person in this world I can’t bear to lose.”
You reached up and cupped his face with both of your hands, “I’m not going to leave you, you dummy. I just want you to rely on me and communicate with me more when you’re tired. A relationship consists of two people, let us both carry the same amount of weight. But don’t think you’re off the hook about forgetting our anniversary though, you’re still on thin ice mister.” He lets out a small laugh, “Duly noted.”
You checked in with the twins about Sylus’s schedule in advance and they confirmed that he would be out during the afternoon today. You set out to the N109 Zone, specifically his place so that you could plan out surprising him for your anniversary.
It took you lots of time and effort with putting up all the decorations and manually blowing up the balloons. After everything was done you rested on the couch for a while.
You still have plenty of time till his return so you were currently helping his chef prepare his favorite dishes. You put extra care into making the food since it was a special occasion. You couldn’t wait to surprise Sylus.
It was about time Sylus should be returning so you closed all the lights, hiding behind the couch, itching for the right moment to jump out and surprise the love of your life.
Suddenly, you heard the door open. This was the moment, prepare yourself. The lights turn on and you hear footsteps coming closer to you. You jumped out yelling surprise ready to pop the confetti until you came face to face with Kieran, with Luke behind him.
“Huh, where’s Sylus?” Kieran speaks up, “Boss had another unexpected business meeting so he’ll be back a little later.” “Oh” You sigh dejectedly. They try to cheer you up but you just slumped back onto the couch.
An hour has passed and still no trace of Sylus. At this point you looked so sad that Luke offered to call Sylus to see where he was at. Luke puts his phone on speaker so that you could also hear.
Soon you heard the deep silky voice that belonged to your partner, “What is it?” “I was just wondering when you’ll be home.” “I still haven’t wrapped things up with Miss Hunter yet so it’ll still take a while.” “Oh ok, please try to get home as soon as you can.” “I’ll try.”
Luke nervously looks at you after he ends the call. You laughed and a chill ran down both the twin’s back. “Miss, are you ok?” Kieran asks. Catching your breath after you laughed you responded, “How can I be ok after finding out the man I love forgot our anniversary and is out with this girl he frequently has business meetings with.”
You abruptly got up and went to gather your things with you. “W- where are you going?” Luke shakily asks. “I’m going home and neither of you guys are stopping me.” “Please reconsider!” Kieran pleaded, you threw him a death glare and walked towards the door, proceeding to open it and slam it on your way out. You felt bad for getting angry at the twins but your emotions got the better of you.
Sylus just got back and as soon as he opened the door he was welcomed with the sight of the twins panicking and shouting at him. “Boss, why didn’t you pick up your phone? We were calling you for so long, this is an emergency!!” “My phone died.” “You’re in big trouble boss.” “Huh?” Obviously confused by the commotion the twins pushed him to the living room.
He took in the sight and noticed the ‘Happy Anniversary’ banner. That’s when his heart drops, oh he messed up real bad. He wanted to beat himself but there were more pressing matters. “Either one of you give me your phone.” Once a phone was handed to him he quickly went to find your contact and called you.
However, it’s been the tenth time he’s calling you and you still haven’t picked up. As he was giving up you finally picked up, “Ugh would you quit spam calling me Kieran?” “Sweetie, I'm so sorry.” “Oh it’s you, I’m hanging up.” you said coldly. “Wait-” You wasted no time in ending the call. You were also quick to block Sylus and the twin’s numbers.
You were tired after everything that happened today so you drifted off to sleep. You don’t know how long you were sleeping but you woke up to a loud crash, jolting you up in your bed. You looked around to check the source of the noise and noticed that your balcony door was broken, the glass pieces shattered around your floor.
Then you feel a gush of wind as a familiar black and dark red mist surrounds you tightening you into a hold. You looked up and found yourself staring into a pair of shining scarlet eyes. “Let me go you psycho!” “Not until you listen to me.” You roll your eyes, “Not like you gave me any other option.”
He chuckles while walking towards you. Stopping when he’s directly in front of you. “I’m here to beg you for forgiveness, I’m sorry for neglecting you on our special day. I’ll do anything for your forgiveness, hell I’ll even grovel.” The gleam in your eyes doesn’t go unnoticed. Needless to say, Sylus did his part and earned your forgiveness.

☁︎ . , ONCE UPON A KISS , N.RK !
PAIRING: boyfriend ! riki × girlfriend ! afab reader. SYNOPSIS: spending quality time with your boyfriend was good...until he suggested something that you clearly seemed hesitant about. GENRE: suggestive, passing chocolate thru kiss. WORD COUNT: 568. [LIBRARY]
The room was quiet, with only the faint hum of your phone playing some avant-garde foreign film. You both were hardly paying any attention to it. You pointed to the screen, where two actors were performing an overly theatrical kiss, exchanging a cube of chocolate between their lips. “Hmm, do you think that’s dirty?” you quirked an eyebrow at Riki.
You didn't much hope for a reaction-a quick jab, a laugh, or something overly dramatic. Instead, he merely stared at the ceiling for some time in thought.
Then again, his gaze turned to you, brilliant and sharp and eviling-something mischievous. “Don't know,” he said at long last, in a tone that was terribly casual. “Guess I'll have to test the hypothesis.”
Before you opened your mouth to ask him what hypothesis, to remind him he wasn't in science class, he gingerly grabbed a piece of chocolate from the table and gently shoved it into his mouth. You blinked, completely caught between confusion and amusement. “Riki, what-”
But you could hardly finish that because, within one fluid motion, he came worriedly close into your space. His lips met yours-warm, soft-sweet, chocolate-rich came blasting at you as he teasingly flicked his tongue over your lips.
All the connections within your brain seemed to short-circuit.
Was this even real? Were you sharing chocolate through a kiss, just like some tacky romcom couple? Your hands flew onto his shoulders for, well, probably a push-off, or to make sure he did not pull away before you could properly sort yourself out.
The kiss deepened, chocolate heating up between your mouths into a sweet, gluey warmth. Riki was going all off-the-wall, purposely savouring the moment, taking his time.
It was messy, sure, but it was also intoxicating—the combination of heat, sweetness, and the sheer audacity of the moment. You couldn’t help but grip him tighter as the world outside melted away, leaving only the faint hum of the movie and the wild thrum of your heartbeat.
When he finally pulled back, you both gasped for air, your foreheads resting against each other as you tried to steady yourself. His lips were smeared with chocolate, so were yours, but neither of you moved to clean up the evidence of your chaos. Instead, Riki leaned back slightly, his signature cocky grin spreading across his face.
“It’s not dirty,” he declared, his tone brimming with mock seriousness, as if he’d just made the most groundbreaking discovery in human history.
You stared at him, dumbfounded. “You’re unbelievable,” you muttered, shaking your head as a laugh bubbled up from your chest. “Who even thinks to do that?”
“Geniuses,” he replied without hesitation, grabbing the remote and pausing the movie like this was just another Tuesday night activity. Then, with the same unshakable confidence, he added, “Also, that was a 10 out of 10 execution. You’re welcome.”
You groaned, grabbing a pillow and smacking him with it. “You’re so annoying!”
He caught the pillow with one hand, still grinning as if you’d just handed him an award. “Annoyingly talented. And, admit it, unbelievably good at this.”
You rolled your eyes, but the way your lips still tingled from the kiss betrayed you. Riki’s laugh filled the room, light and carefree, and you couldn’t help but join in despite yourself. In that moment, one thing became very clear: not only did your boyfriend match your freak — he might actually surpass it.

── .✦
You found yourself zoning out in the cafeteria, barely touching your food, while both Haechan and Mark watched you with concern.
Winter’s silence—ignoring you and not replying for two days—wasn’t helping either. Perhaps luck was on your side, as your lab class with Jaemin had been postponed due to your professor’s flu.
Occasionally, you’d cross paths with Jaemin in the hallway. You tried to appear neutral, but the heavy weight in your stomach was impossible to ignore every time you saw him. At the same time, you couldn’t deny how much you secretly liked feeling his gaze linger on you as you turned away.
It had been two days since Mark sent the group photo and two days since you last heard from Winter.
It was the end of your final class, and as you placed the last of your things in your locker and slammed it shut, you nearly jumped at the sight of Jaemin leaning casually against the locker next to yours.
"Hey," he greeted, his voice soft. You blinked, trying to steady yourself, and whispered back, "Hey."
You watched him as he straightened up from his relaxed position, seeming to wrestle with his thoughts, hesitating before speaking.
"How are you?" he asked. His tone held a subtle weight, as though he wanted to ask more but held himself back. You hadn’t been replying to his messages like you used to, and though he clearly noticed, he chose not to press further.
"I’m okay, just busy," you answered—a tired, overused excuse. It was obvious Jaemin didn’t believe you, but he only nodded in response. "Can I get you a coffee?" he offered.
Did you want to say yes? Absolutely. But was it the right thing to do? You weren’t sure. Caught between the pull of a heart yearning for love and a mind that kept shutting it out, you felt a pang of helplessness.
"Sure," you murmured, almost to yourself, the word slipping out with a faint sense of defeat.
── .✦
"One americano and an iced caramel macchiato for Jaemin," the barista announced.
Jaemin gathered both drinks, and while you went to the restroom, he placed them at the table by the time you returned. The two of you settled into a cozy seat at a café near campus, the same place where you and Winter usually hung out. As you sat there, your thoughts drifted to your best friend, and a somber look crossed your face, which Jaemin quickly noticed.
"We haven’t seen much of each other lately," he remarked, though you couldn’t quite read his expression.
"Well, our professor has the flu," you replied. Jaemin simply nodded, taking a sip of his drink.
The silence lingered for a while, and once again, it felt like he was on the verge of saying something but was hesitating. Finally, he spoke up. "I missed you."
As you were about to take a sip from your cup, you froze for a moment, the cup hanging just a few inches from your lips.
"I missed you too, Jaemin," you replied, though deep down, you couldn't help but feel that developing feelings for Na Jaemin might be the most ironic twist fate had thrown your way.
"I want to be upfront," he started, and you could feel your heart race. "I’m not sure if you're intentionally ignoring me or if I did something wrong," he added.
"Your actions toward me have been confusing." You cut him off, attempting to conceal the real reason behind your behavior—the fact that you knew about him and Winter. As you spoke, you noticed Jaemin’s eyes soften.
"I know," he replied softly. "That’s why I’m here. I want to clear everything up."
For a moment, you found yourself wondering if what you had said was just an excuse, a way to justify your actions. Deep down, you realized that part of you was also eager to discover if Jaemin felt the same way about you as you did about him.
"The things I’ve done with you, the things I’m doing now, and the things I’m about to do—I'm not doing any of this just to be friends," Jaemin confessed. "I wanted to be clear and be 100% honest with you, because this is how it needs to be for it to work."
Hearing him speak so openly, you knew exactly where this conversation was headed.
"Your best friend, Winter... remember when you said she had a situationship here on campus?" Jaemin asked. You could only nod, finally bracing yourself to hear the confirmation.
"That was me," Jaemin admitted. You weren’t sure whether to feel heartbroken, knowing that your best friend was the failed situationship of the first boy you'd ever liked, or relieved, remembering how Jaemin had opened up about his past situationship with you.
"You told me that your first and last situationship was one of your biggest regrets. You said you didn’t want to go through it again, that it was pointless, a waste of time. That was Winter?" you asked, and Jaemin nodded in response.
Was it wrong to feel a sense of relief at his answer? He was clearly over your best friend, yet you couldn’t shake the guilt that lingered deep inside.
"I want to be completely honest with you," Jaemin said. "I like you, and if you feel the same, I’ll do everything I can to make it work. But that can only happen if I tell you this."
Both of you understood the consequences. You hadn't known that Jaemin was Winter's past situationship, and Winter hadn’t even mentioned it when you showed her the picture of you and Jaemin together. As for Jaemin, he was aware that you and Winter were best friends, but his feelings towards you all came naturally, and his intentions were sincere—what he felt for you was real.
"I'm sorry I couldn't tell you sooner, but now that what I feel for you is clear, I knew you needed to know," Jaemin said.
His words made your heart sink. You appreciated Jaemin for being honest, but at the same time, you couldn’t help but feel a wave of sadness. Winter, your best friend for years, couldn’t even face you or talk to you about it over the phone.
You never understood why girls would lose their minds over a boy, not until Na Jaemin came into your life. You could only smile wistfully, never expecting to find yourself caught up in this kind of situation.
"I actually knew since two days ago," you finally confessed to Jaemin. "Winter, she’s been ignoring me. She even soft blocked me and my friends on social media," you added, referring to Haechan and Mark.
You paused for a moment, then looked at Jaemin and said sincerely, "Thank you for talking this through with me," feeling a deep sadness in your stomach. "But I need some time," you added, almost as if you were saying it to yourself rather than to Jaemin.
He nodded in response, and you could see a smile on his face, though it carried an undertone of sadness. "I understand," he replied.
You left the café and as you walked a few blocks away, the rain began to pour. Quietly cursing, you realized you didn't have your umbrella. But when you checked your bag, you found one tucked inside.
It wasn't yours, but it looked familiar.
You sighed as you realized it must have been Jaemin's—he must have placed it in your bag while you were in the restroom.
── .✦
The rhythmic sound of the cheerleading team's synchronized movements echoed through the gym as they practiced. For the past few days, Winter had dedicated all her time and focus to cheer, as if nothing else mattered.
When practice finally ended, she sat on the benches while the rest of her teammates left. She was alone in the gym, at least until footsteps echoed in, though she didn’t initially pay much attention. It wasn’t until the footsteps stopped in front of her that she looked up from her phone—it was Jaemin.
Winter froze as Na Jaemin stood in front of her in the university gym. "Are you lost?" she asked with a chuckle, trying to mask the uneasy feeling swirling in her stomach.
"We need to talk," Jaemin said plainly. Winter couldn’t stop the frown that formed on her face, starting to piece together the real reason he was there. Jaemin wasn’t there for her—he was there because of her best friend.
"If you’re here to tell me to talk to my best friend, then you should just leave," Winter snapped, standing and hastily gathering her things.
"You’re selfish, you know that?" Jaemin’s words caught her off guard, but she continued packing, determined to ignore him.
"You cut me off when I wanted to court you properly. And now that I’ve started liking someone who’s ready to commit the way I am, you’re acting like you’re the one who’s been dumped," Jaemin said, his usual calm demeanor replaced with frustration.
"She’s my best friend!" Winter lashed out, nearly throwing her things in her anger as her voice echoed in the empty gym. Jaemin and Winter locked eyes, tension crackling between them.
"This is the first time she’s liked a guy, but I know she understands what girl code is," Winter said, her voice faltering. Even as the words left her mouth, she felt foolish. Jaemin had never truly meant anything to her; their connection had been casual. Yet somehow, her pride and ego felt bruised, as if her very identity had been challenged.
"If you wanted her to follow girl code so badly, why didn’t you confront her about it?" Jaemin shot back, his tone sharp. "Why did it have to be me telling her about us? Why did her other friends have to find out before she did? You weren’t honest with her."
"I was honest! Not entirely," Winter countered, her voice rising in defense. "But when I said you two looked good together, I meant it. You did look good together." She paused, her voice trembling now. "But that doesn’t mean it didn’t make me feel sick to my stomach," she admitted, her frustration spilling out in every word.
Her hands trembled as she spoke, guilt crashing over her. Winter felt like the worst friend, the worst person, for the way things had turned out. She hated the way she felt but couldn’t deny it.
"You two looked so good together that it started to hurt," Winter admitted, her voice heavy with emotion. "But I don’t have the right to feel that way because I was the one who cut you off. We had nothing, and I didn’t do anything to change that. I didn’t stop her from seeing you."
Winter’s frustration was palpable, but it wasn’t directed at Jaemin or her best friend—not really. Deep down, she was angry at herself, though she desperately wished she could blame someone else. The weight of her own choices and inaction bore down on her, leaving her overwhelmed with regret.
Winter felt a wave of helplessness as she locked eyes with Jaemin, her mind briefly imagining what it might have been like if she had given him a chance—if she had taken him seriously. But reality pulled her back, and she could only shake her head in resignation.
"Just take care of her," she said softly, her voice heavy with emotion.
"I know you will, but please, take care of her. She's been looking out for me for years, and she deserves someone who will do the same for her." She was referring to her best friend. Clutching her gym bag tightly, she turned and walked out of the gym.
Jaemin stood frozen in place, the sound of the gym door slamming shut echoing in the empty space. Letting out a deep sigh, he pulled his phone from his pocket.
Your name was on the screen—the call was still ongoing. You had heard everything.
Every word, every emotion in Winter’s voice, every part of the conversation. You had heard it all.
── .✦
Your lab classes had resumed, but Jaemin was no longer seated beside you. At first, it stung, but then you realized why he had moved. He was doing it for you—giving you the time and space you said you needed.
Days passed, and you could still feel his gaze linger on you when you weren’t looking. The moment you no longer sensed his eyes, you found yourself testing your luck, stealing glances at him as if trying to grow accustomed to admiring him from a distance.
It was bittersweet, almost cliché.
A sadness settled over you as you wondered: Is this your reality with Jaemin? To admire each other from afar? The thought crept in—perhaps you and Jaemin were better at yearning for each other than at actually being together.
Not long after Jaemin spoke to Winter, you received a message from her. It was brief, only a few words:
Winter: “I’m sorry. I hope I can talk to you properly soon. I love you.”
You didn’t bother replying. It was clear she wasn’t ready to have an honest conversation or fully confront the situation. And as much as it hurt, you knew you had to face it on your own.
Weeks passed, and another group task was assigned during your lab class. As usual, everyone was instructed to write their partner's name on a piece of paper.
Glancing around the room, you noticed Jaemin's seat was empty. Your grip on the pen tightened as an internal battle raged between your heart and mind. Letting out a quiet sigh, you decided to follow what you truly wanted.
Carefully, you wrote your name on the paper. Just below it, you added "Na Jaemin."
Staring at the name, you gave a small nod before rising from your seat to submit it to your professor.
"He won’t mind, right?" you murmured to yourself, hoping you were right.
── .✦
Jaemin sat in the cafeteria with his best friend, Jeno, who was happily devouring his lunch.
“Are they not eating lunch today?” Jaemin asked, glancing at his watch. He was referring to you and your friends, who usually occupied the far end of the cafeteria.
“She’s in the library,” a familiar voice chimed in, followed by the loud clatter of a food tray being slammed onto the table, startling both Jaemin and Jeno. The voice belonged to Haechan, who had appeared out of nowhere, with Mark trailing closely behind, carrying his own tray.
“Be careful,” Jeno muttered, giving Haechan a side-eye, but Haechan merely shrugged as he and Mark casually settled into the seats across from Jaemin and Jeno.
“Why are you guys sitting here?” Jeno asked, giving Mark, his classmate, a friendly grin afterward, pointing toward the end of the cafeteria where Haechan and Mark usually sat. Both Jaemin and Jeno looked at them, confused by the sudden change in routine.
"You were looking for us, right? It would be easier if we sat closer to you," Haechan joked.
"It would have been easier if you brought your friend with you," Jeno retorted, referring to you, earning a glare from Jaemin. "As Haechan said, she's in the library," Mark added.
An awkward silence settled over the table until Haechan broke it, clearing his throat to grab Jaemin's attention. "Do you still like her?" Haechan asked casually, causing Jeno to nearly choke on his food at how blunt Haechan was.
"What?" Jaemin responded, and Mark rolled his eyes at the answer.
"One of our seniors is planning to ask her out," Mark added, prompting another "What?" from Jaemin, this time it was so loud that people nearby started giving them puzzled looks.
"Yeah, so you'd better get your act together. A month is plenty of time for space, right?" Haechan teased, casually chewing his food.
"Oh, and she wrote you down as her lab partner, so I guess that's your cue to stop this silent treatment," Haechan added, prompting Jaemin to jump out of his seat, leaving his food untouched as he rushed to the library where the duo had said you were. He had only missed one lab class, and this is what he returned to.
Jaemin silently thanked his lucky stars. If he had been there, would you still have written his name as your lab partner? No one could know for sure, but he quietly appreciated the universe's strange twist of fate—giving him a headache that day, which kept him from attending the class and the calls.
Jeno simply watched his best friend dash off, shrugging before going back to his food. He then looked at Mark and Haechan sitting across from him. "So, is it true that one of your seniors wants to ask her out?" Jeno asked.
"Nope," the duo replied in unison.
── .✦
Peeking through the library, Jaemin let out a sigh when he didn't see you. You must have already left. With lab class not until tomorrow, Jaemin considered texting you but hesitated, thinking it would feel strange to reach out after a month of silence. He decided to wait until the next day instead.
As the last period ended and he walked through the campus gates, Jaemin sighed again when rain began to drizzle. He scratched the back of his neck, deciding not to waste time by waiting for the rain to stop. It wasn’t too heavy, so he kept walking, feeling the droplets on his skin. Pausing at the stoplight, he waited for the signal to turn green. That's when he noticed the rain no longer falling on him.
Looking up, he saw you holding an umbrella over his head.
"You shouldn't walk in the rain, you might get sick," you said, making Jaemin freeze for a moment as he realized it was you. The umbrella he had placed in your bag during your last meeting at the café was now in your hands.
"I don't want my lab partner missing another class," you added, trying to sound casual, but the blush on your cheeks betrayed you.
Jaemin couldn’t help but smile, a wave of happiness swelling in his chest. He nodded and reached for the umbrella, but your hand brushed against his, making him hesitate. Without thinking, he ended up holding the umbrella for both of you.
"Thank you," he said, his heart racing slightly. You could only smile in response, at a loss for words.
It had been some time since you were this close to Jaemin, feeling the warmth radiating from his body as you both shared the umbrella. Jaemin’s phone vibrated, a notification popping up. You couldn’t help but shake your head slightly, a bigger smile spreading across your face when you saw it was a message from Jeno.
Jeno: “Thank me later! She asked me about your last class.”
Jaemin smiled at the text before turning off his phone, his expression suddenly shifting to one of seriousness.
"Is it true that a senior wanted to ask you out?" he asked out of nowhere.
You looked at him, clearly confused. "What? What senior?" you replied, bewildered.
Jaemin studied your face for a moment, sighing as he realized Mark and Haechan had been playing a prank on him. "I hate your friends," he muttered, pulling you closer so you wouldn’t get wet from the rain.
── .✦
You and Jaemin resumed talking comfortably after that, with the two of you becoming lab partners again. Thankfully, Jaemin didn’t mind, and in fact, he was quite happy about it. He started sitting with you again in class, and during breaks, your friend group began sitting together with Jaemin and Jeno.
The attraction between the two of you? It was clearly still there, but now the signs were more obvious.
Jaemin no longer hesitated to hold your hand, kiss the back of your hand—whether it was randomly, out of boredom, or as a simple gesture to show his adoration for you—buy you lunch, carry your bag, and walk you home like before. He’d share his headphones with you, always finding a reason to walk by your side, even if it meant taking the longer route. Na Jaemin would take note of all the small things you liked, showing just how much he cared.
You weren’t being subtle either. Instead of admiring him from afar, you now had the chance to admire him up close as he focused on the lab report beside you. You’d make little excuses to talk to him, always try to sit next to him, finding small ways to be near him. You’d even send him little texts just to check in, and when you saw new art galleries or exhibits in town, you’d share them with him, suggesting that the two of you go visit together.
These are just a few of the many ways the two of you express your growing feelings for each other. After a few weeks, Jaemin began courting you, showing you just how serious he was about his feelings. This time, you chose to follow your heart.
Whenever you were with Jaemin, you’d find yourself staring at him for a while, watching a soft smile form on his lips whenever he caught your gaze. Every moment spent with him was filled with gestures of affection, and each one made your heart flutter with happiness.
── .✦
It was a special day—the annual cheer team competition, a major event for universities, where cheer teams from different schools came together to compete.
Your and Winter's universities were among them.
Since Winter was part of her university's cheer team, you knew you'd be seeing her today. Although you hadn’t spoken to her since her last message, you often found yourself checking her social media to keep up with her. From her posts, you could tell she’d been busy with cheer and had started partying less. You even came across a post where she had tried baking—a new hobby she had taken up to keep herself occupied. Sometimes, you wondered if she thought of you as much as you thought of her, or if she ever stalked your social media or checked in on your friends' posts to see how you were doing.
“Hi, here’s a free cupcake for you!” one of the students from another university said, offering a cupcake with their cheer team's name on it.
“Oh, but I’m from a different university,” you chuckled.
The person smiled and insisted, “This is a friendly competition! Take it.”
You accepted the cupcake with a thank you and made your way to your seat, where your friends and Jaemin were already waiting.
You glanced at the cupcake, noticing it had the logo of Winter’s cheer team on it. A soft smile crossed your face as you realized it was from her team. You missed Winter so much.
As you began nibbling on the cupcake, you shared it with Jaemin, unaware that Winter herself had baked it. She and her team had made the cupcakes for their supporters, and she knew you'd be there. Winter could only smile to herself as she watched you in the crowd, munching on the cupcake she had made.
Winter noticed Jaemin sitting beside you, opening a bottle of water for you while you enjoyed the sweet treat. This time, she didn’t feel that uneasy knot in her stomach. Her smile wasn’t bittersweet; it was genuine.
Fuck Girl Code.
Na Jaemin was truly looking after you, just as she had hoped.
"I hope you don’t think of me too much, I don’t want you to be sad over someone like me," Winter whispered to herself, watching as you and Jaemin laughed at something, Jaemin kissing the back of your hand as if it were second nature.
Suddenly, your eyes met Winter's. You were taken aback to see her looking at you, but instead of turning away or ignoring you, Winter gave you a warm smile. You returned the smile, and maybe, for now, that was all that mattered.

MAKE UP OR MAKE OUT? ⸺ Minji x reader
Minji and y/n had never gotten along, but what happens when they are paired up for a project forcing them to get along and interact and maybe even kiss…..?
GENRE ⸺ fluff, enemies to lovers
WARNINGS ⸺ fluff, jealousy and mention of being possessive, kissing (def), a post after 2months (to prove that I’m alive), requested
WC ⸺ 4.5k
You and Minji stood facing each other, your eyes locked in a tense stare. You were both students in the same photography class, and you'd been assigned to work on a project together.
The problem was, you and Minji couldn't stand each other. You thought she was arrogant and entitled, while she thought you were lazy and uncreative. The tension between you was palpable, and you could feel the air thickening with hostility.
"What's the project about?" Minji asked curtly, her voice dripping with disdain.
"It's a photography portfolio," you replied, trying to keep your tone neutral. "We need to take a series of photos that showcase our skills and creativity."
Minji snorted. "I don't need to showcase my skills. My photos are already amazing."
You rolled your eyes. "Whatever. Let's just get this over with."
Minji's eyes flashed with anger, but she bit back a retort. "Fine. Let's start brainstorming."
You and Minji sat down at a small café, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city. You'd decided to meet up and discuss your project, hoping to come up with a cohesive plan.
But as you started brainstorming, it became clear that you and Minji had fundamentally different artistic visions. You wanted to create a portfolio that was edgy and avant-garde, while Minji was pushing for something more traditional and commercial.
"I don't understand why you're being so stubborn," Minji said, her voice rising in frustration. "My idea is clearly better."
"I'm not being stubborn," you replied, trying to keep your cool. "I just think that your idea is boring and unoriginal."
Minji's eyes flashed with anger. "My idea is not boring," she said, her voice icy. "It's just more refined and sophisticated than your silly, artsy concept."
You felt a surge of annoyance, but you tried to take a deep breath and calm down. "Look, can we just try to find some common ground?" you asked, hoping to diffuse the tension.
Minji raised an eyebrow. "I'm not sure that's possible," she said, her voice dripping with skepticism. "But I'm willing to try."
You nodded, feeling a sense of determination. "Okay, let's do it. Let's find a way to make this project work."
As you sat there, sipping your coffee and staring at Minji, you couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for her. She was stubborn and infuriating, but she was also passionate and driven.
And as you looked into her eyes, you saw something there that gave you pause. A spark of creativity, a glimmer of inspiration.
Maybe, just maybe, you and Minji could create something amazing together.
As you and Minji continued to work on your project, you started to feel a sense of camaraderie with your partner. Despite your initial differences, you'd found a way to work together, and your project was starting to take shape.
But just as things were going smoothly, a new challenge emerged. A rival photography duo, consisting of two students from a neighboring school, had entered the competition. They were known for their cutting-edge style and their ability to push the boundaries of photography.
The rival duo, consisting of a boy named Taeoh and a girl named Jiwon, was confident and charismatic. They exuded an air of superiority, and it was clear that they were determined to win.
Minji's eyes narrowed as she watched Taeoh and Jiwon set up their equipment. "We can't let them win," she said, her voice low and determined.
You nodded in agreement. "I know. We need to step up our game."
Minji turned to you, a fierce glint in her eye. "Let's do it. Let's show them what we're capable of."
You grinned, feeling a surge of adrenaline. "Game on."
Together, you and Minji threw yourself into your project, determined to outdo Taeoh and Jiwon. You spent long hours brainstorming, shooting, and editing, pushing yourselves to the limit.
As the competition heated up, the tension between you and Minji began to dissipate. You started to see each other in a new light, as partners and allies rather than rivals.
One day, as you were working on a particularly tricky shot, Minji turned to you and smiled. "You know, I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually starting to enjoy working with you."
You grinned back at her, feeling a sense of warmth and connection. "I know exactly what you mean," you said. "I'm starting to think that we make a pretty good team."
Minji's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Maybe we do."
As you continued to work together, you started to realize that your feelings for Minji went beyond mere partnership. You were starting to develop feelings for her, feelings that you couldn't quite explain.
But as you looked into Minji's eyes, you saw something there that gave you hope. A spark of attraction, a glimmer of interest.
Maybe, just maybe, Minji felt the same way.
As the warm evening sunset cast its golden glow over the classroom, you and Minji worked together to capture the perfect shot. Minji had set up the camera and tripod, carefully adjusting the settings to ensure that the photo would be nothing short of breathtaking.
You, on the other hand, stood behind the camera, your eyes fixed on the viewfinder as you waited for the perfect moment to take the picture. The sunset was a kaleidoscope of colors, a swirling mix of oranges, pinks, and purples that seemed to dance across the sky.
Minji stood beside you, her eyes fixed on the scene unfolding before you. But as she gazed at the sunset, her attention began to wander. She found herself noticing the way the fading light seemed to bring out the colors in your eyes.
Your eyes, Minji thought to herself, were truly captivating. They sparkled like diamonds in the sunset, shining with a warm, golden light that seemed to draw her in. Minji felt a flutter in her chest, a sudden jolt of awareness that caught her off guard.
Is she attracted to you? Minji wondered, the thought slipping into her mind like a whispered secret. She felt a surge of surprise, her heart racing with a mix of excitement and trepidation.
But Minji quickly shrugged off the feeling, telling herself she was being ridiculous. She was focused on the project, not on developing feelings for her partner. Besides, she'd always thought of you as just a classmate, someone she tolerated rather than admired.
So Minji pushed aside her doubts and focused on the task at hand. She watched as you expertly framed the shot, your fingers moving deftly over the camera controls. You took a deep breath, your eyes locked on the viewfinder, and then you pressed the shutter button.
The camera clicked, capturing the perfect moment. The sunset was frozen in time, its colors vibrant and alive. Minji felt a sense of satisfaction, knowing that you'd taken a truly stunning photo.
As you reviewed the shot on the camera's LCD screen, Minji couldn't help but steal glances at you. She noticed the way your hair curled slightly at the nape of your neck, the way your eyes crinkled at the corners as you smiled.
Minji felt that flutter in her chest again, the same sensation she'd experienced just moments before. She tried to brush it off, telling herself she was just being silly.
But as she looked at you, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more between you, something that went beyond mere partnership or friendship. Minji felt a sense of wonder, a sense of possibility that she couldn't ignore.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the classroom in a warm, golden light, Minji realized that she was seeing you in a whole new way. She was starting to notice the little things about you, the things that made you unique and special.
And as she stood there, watching you review the photos on the camera, Minji felt a sense of excitement, a sense of anticipation. She wondered what would happen next, wondered if she'd ever find the courage to explore these newfound feelings.
As the days went by, you and Minji continued to work on your project, pouring your hearts and souls into every detail. You'd grown closer, your mutual respect and admiration for each other's skills and talents blossoming into a strong partnership.
One evening, as you were reviewing your photos, Minji turned to you with a thoughtful expression. "Hey, can I ask you something?" she said, her voice soft and introspective.
"Of course," you replied, curious about what was on her mind.
Minji hesitated, her eyes searching yours as if seeking permission to share her thoughts. "I was just wondering...what do you think about me?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
You felt a surge of surprise, unsure of how to respond. But as you looked into Minji's eyes, you saw something there that gave you pause. A deep vulnerability, a sense of uncertainty that touched your heart.
"I think you're an amazing person, Minji," you said, your voice sincere. "You're talented, driven, and passionate about your work. And...I think I'm really starting to enjoy your company."
Minji's face lit up with a radiant smile, and you felt your heart skip a beat. "I'm glad to hear that," she said, her voice filled with warmth. "I have to admit, I'm really starting to like you too."
As you smiled back at Minji, you felt a sense of connection that went beyond mere partnership. It was as if you'd crossed a threshold, entering a new realm of understanding and mutual respect.
Just then, Taeoh and Jiwon, the rival photography duo, walked into the room, their eyes scanning the space with a mixture of curiosity and competitiveness. Minji's eyes narrowed, her expression tightening with a hint of animosity.
But you just smiled, feeling a sense of confidence and camaraderie with Minji. "Hey, guys," you said, waving at Taeoh and Jiwon. "What brings you here?"
Taeoh smirked, his eyes glinting with mischief. "We just wanted to see how the competition is doing," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "And I have to say, we're not impressed."
Minji's eyes flashed with anger, but you just chuckled, feeling a sense of amusement at Taeoh's antics. "Well, we're not trying to impress you," you said, smiling at Minji. "We're just trying to create something amazing."
Taeoh snorted, but Jiwon just rolled her eyes, looking unimpressed. "Whatever," she said, turning to Taeoh. "Let's just focus on our own project."
As Taeoh and Jiwon walked away, Minji turned to you, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I think they're just jealous," she said, smiling.
You grinned back at her, feeling a sense of solidarity and shared purpose. "I think you're right," you said, nodding in agreement.
As you continued to work on your project, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. You and Minji were creating something special, something that would showcase your skills and talents to the world.
And as you worked together, side by side, you couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and possibility. You were starting to realize that your partnership with Minji was more than just a collaboration – it was the start of something truly special.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden light over the room, you and Minji decided to take a break and grab some dinner. You walked to a nearby café, enjoying the cool evening air and the sound of birds chirping in the trees.
As you sat down at a small table, Minji turned to you, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I have an idea," she said, a sly grin spreading across her face.
"What is it?" you asked, curious.
Minji leaned in, her voice barely above a whisper. "Let's sneak into the school's rooftop garden tonight and take some photos of the city skyline. It'll be perfect for our project."
You felt a surge of excitement, your heart racing with anticipation. "That sounds amazing," you said, grinning.
Minji smiled back at you, her eyes shining with excitement. "I knew you'd be up for it."
As you finished your dinner and made plans for your midnight adventure, you couldn't help but feel a sense of thrill and excitement. You and Minji were about to embark on a journey that would take you to new heights – literally.
And as you looked into Minji's eyes, you saw something there that gave you pause. A spark of attraction, a glimmer of possibility.
You wondered what the night would bring, and whether your feelings for Minji would continue to grow.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm orange glow over the school, you and Minji made your way to the rooftop garden. You'd been planning this sneak attack for days, and you were determined to get the perfect shot.
Minji led the way, her eyes scanning the hallway for any signs of teachers or security guards. You followed closely behind, your heart racing with excitement.
As you reached the stairwell, Minji turned to you and grinned. "Ready for this?" she whispered.
You nodded, your pulse pounding in your ears. "Let's do it."
Minji pushed open the door to the rooftop garden, and you slipped inside, finding yourselves in a tranquil oasis. The garden was filled with lush greenery and vibrant flowers, and the view of the city skyline was breathtaking.
Minji set up her camera, while you took in the sights and sounds of the garden. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the sound of birds chirping in the trees.
As Minji began to snap photos, you couldn't help but notice the way the fading light brought out the colors in her eyes. They sparkled like diamonds, shining with a warm, golden light that seemed to draw you in.
You felt a surge of attraction, your heart racing with excitement. But you pushed the feeling aside, focusing on the task at hand.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the garden in a warm, golden light, Minji turned to you and smiled. "This is perfect," she said, her eyes shining with excitement.
You nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. You'd pulled off the perfect sneak attack, and you'd gotten some amazing photos to boot.
As you packed up your equipment and prepared to leave, Minji turned to you and grinned. "Thanks for tonight," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I had a blast."
You smiled back at her, feeling a sense of connection and camaraderie. "No problem," you said, your voice low and husky. "I had a great time too."
As you walked out of the garden, side by side, you couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and possibility. You'd shared a special moment, a moment that would stay with you forever.
And as you looked over at Minji, you saw something in her eyes that gave you pause. A spark of attraction, a glimmer of possibility.
As the days went by, you and Minji continued to work on your project, growing closer with each passing moment. You'd developed a strong partnership, anticipating each other's moves and working together seamlessly.
One day, as you were working on a particularly tricky shot, a girl from your class, Sooyoung, came over to chat with you. She was a friendly and outgoing person, always eager to strike up a conversation.
Minji, who was busy adjusting the lighting, couldn't help but notice the way Sooyoung was laughing and smiling at you. She felt a sudden pang of jealousy, a spark of emotion that caught her off guard.
At first, Minji tried to brush off the feeling, telling herself she was being ridiculous. But as she watched Sooyoung and you chat, she couldn't help but feel a growing sense of unease.
Why was Sooyoung flirting with you? Minji wondered, her mind racing with questions. And why did it bother her so much?
As Sooyoung walked away, Minji felt a sense of relief wash over her. But the feeling of jealousy lingered, refusing to be ignored.
Minji tried to focus on the project, but her mind kept wandering back to the conversation between you and Sooyoung. She couldn't help but wonder if you were interested in Sooyoung, if you were attracted to her outgoing personality and bright smile.
The thought sent a pang of discomfort through Minji's chest. She didn't like the idea of you being with someone else, didn't like the thought of you smiling and laughing with another girl.
As the day drew to a close, Minji realized that she had to confront her feelings. She couldn't keep ignoring the spark of jealousy that had ignited within her.
But what did it mean? Minji wondered, her mind racing with questions. Was she really attracted to you, or was she just feeling possessive?
As she packed up her equipment and headed home, Minji couldn't shake the feeling that her emotions were more complicated than she'd initially thought.
The day of the competition finally arrived, and you and Minji were more than ready. You'd spent countless hours perfecting your project, and you were confident that you had a winning entry.
As you set up your display, Minji couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and admiration for you. You'd taken charge of the project, leading the way with your creative vision and technical expertise. And now, as you stood confidently in front of your display, Minji couldn't help but feel a sense of awe.
The judges began their rounds, and you launched into your speech and presentation. Minji watched, mesmerized, as you effortlessly explained the concept and inspiration behind your project. You spoke with passion and conviction, your words painting a vivid picture in the minds of the judges.
Minji couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and ownership as she listened to you speak. She'd played a crucial role in the project, of course, but you'd taken the lead, and your vision and creativity had brought the whole thing together.
As the judges asked questions, Minji stepped forward, providing clear and concise explanations that complemented your own words perfectly. You worked together seamlessly, like two parts of a well-oiled machine.
The judges nodded, impressed, as you and Minji fielded their questions with ease. You could tell that you'd made a strong impression, and Minji's confidence grew with every passing moment.
Finally, the judges announced the winner, and you and Minji held your breath as they revealed the results. And then, you heard the words you'd been longing to hear: "And the first-place winner is... Minji and Y/N!"
You and Minji erupted into cheers, hugging each other tightly as the audience applauded wildly. You'd done it – you'd won the competition!
As you accepted your prize, a trophy and a certificate, you couldn't help but glance over at Jiwon and Taeoh, your rivals. They looked stunned, their faces pale with disappointment.
Minji, on the other hand, was beaming with pride. She grinned at you, her eyes shining with happiness, and you couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and fulfillment.
You'd worked together, side by side, to create something truly special. And now, you'd been rewarded for your hard work and dedication.
As you walked offstage, trophy in hand, Minji turned to you and whispered, "We make a pretty good team, don't we?"
You smiled, feeling a sense of camaraderie and connection. "We definitely do," you replied, your voice low and husky.
Minji's eyes sparkled with amusement, and you couldn't help but wonder what the future held for the two of you. Would you continue to work together, creating new and exciting projects? Or would you take your talents in different directions, pursuing solo endeavors?
Whatever the future held, one thing was certain: you and Minji had created something truly special, something that would stay with you forever.
As you walked offstage, basking in the glory of your win, Minji turned to you with a mischievous grin. "Hey, want to celebrate this weekend?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
You raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What did you have in mind?" you asked, playing along.
Minji's grin faltered for a moment, and she looked away, her cheeks flushing with a delicate pink. "I was thinking we could grab some ice cream or something," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
You teased her, trying to get a rise out of her. "Oh, Minji, are you asking me out on a date?" you asked, your voice dripping with amusement.
Minji's face turned bright red, and she smacked you on the head, her eyes flashing with mock anger. "No, dummy!" she exclaimed, laughing. "I just wanted to celebrate our win, that's all."
You chuckled, rubbing your sore head. "Okay, okay, I get it," you said, grinning. "No date, just ice cream."
Minji rolled her eyes, still laughing. "That's right," she said, smiling. "Just ice cream."
The weekend rolled around, and you met up with Minji at the prescribed park. She stood up to get the ice cream, leaving you to wait for her on the park bench.
As you sat there, watching the people walk by, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. You'd grown closer to Minji over the past few weeks, and you were starting to realize that your feelings for her went beyond mere friendship.
Minji returned with the ice cream, a big smile on her face. "I got your favorite flavor," she said, handing you a cone.
You took a lick, savoring the sweet, creamy taste. "Mmm, thanks," you said, grinning.
But as you were eating, disaster struck. Your spoon slipped from your fingers, falling to the ground with a clatter.
You pouted, feeling a pang of disappointment. "Aww, man," you said, sighing.
Minji laughed, finding your reaction adorable. "It's okay, I'll share mine with you," she said, holding out her spoon.
You smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her. "Thanks," you said, taking a bite of her ice cream.
As you ate, you couldn't help but notice the way Minji's eyes sparkled in the sunlight. She was so beautiful, so full of life and energy.
At one point, you opened your mouth, expecting Minji to feed you. She looked at you, surprised, but then she smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners.
She fed you a bite of ice cream, her spoon touching your lips. You felt a shiver run down your spine, a spark of electricity that seemed to jump between you.
Minji's eyes locked onto yours, and for a moment, you just stared at each other, the world around you melting away.
It was a moment of pure intimacy, a moment that seemed to speak volumes about your feelings for each other.
As you pulled away, Minji's spoon still touching your lips, you couldn't help but wonder what it meant. Were you and Minji something more than just friends?
The question hung in the air, unanswered, as you continued to eat your ice cream, the tension between you palpable.
But for now, you just savored the moment, enjoying the sweet, creamy taste of the ice cream, and the warm, fuzzy feeling that seemed to be growing between you and Minji.
As you finished the ice cream, Minji looked at you for a while, her eyes searching yours as if seeking something. You, on the other hand, were oblivious to her gaze, too busy admiring the view in the park.
The sun was shining, casting a warm glow over the lush green grass and vibrant flowers. Children were laughing and playing, their joyful shouts and giggles filling the air. It was a peaceful, serene atmosphere, one that made you feel grateful to be alive.
But Minji's gaze was not to be ignored. She looked at you with an intensity that made your heart skip a beat, her eyes burning with a passion and sincerity that took your breath away.
You turned to her, sensing that something was amiss. And that's when you saw it - the look of determination, of vulnerability, of hope.
Minji took a deep breath, her chest rising and falling with the effort. And then, in a voice that was barely above a whisper, she spoke the words that would change everything.
"I have something to tell you," she said, her eyes locked onto yours. "Something important."
You felt a surge of curiosity, your heart racing with anticipation. "What is it?" you asked, your voice low and husky.
Minji's eyes searched yours, as if seeking reassurance. And then, in a voice that was trembling with emotion, she spoke the words that would capture your heart forever.
"I think I might be falling in love with you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
You felt like you'd been punched in the gut, your breath knocked out of you. But it wasn't a painful feeling - it was exhilarating, liberating.
You looked at Minji, your eyes locking onto hers. And then, with a smile that came from the heart, you spoke the words that would seal your fate forever.
"I'm already there," you said, your voice filled with emotion.
Minji's face lit up with joy, her eyes shining with tears. "Really?" she asked, her voice trembling with hope.
You nodded, your heart overflowing with love. "Really," you said, your voice filled with conviction.
And then, in a moment that was both tender and passionate, Minji leaned in and kissed you. It was a kiss that spoke volumes, a kiss that sealed your love forever.
As you kissed, the world around you melted away, leaving only the two of you, lost in the magic of the moment. It was a kiss that was both sweet and passionate, a kiss that left you breathless and wanting more.
And when you finally pulled away, gasping for air, Minji smiled up at you, her eyes shining with love.
"Does that mean you're my girlfriend now?" you asked, your voice filled with excitement.
Minji laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Yes, of course, silly," she said, her voice filled with love.
And with that, you sealed your fate forever, your love growing stronger with every passing moment.

“8.49,” Penelope groaned, wiping her forehead after running her third lap in a row. “Good God, that’s not even close.”
Spencer’s breath came in sharp bursts, his hands gripping his knees as he leaned forward. “You think they’ll really terminate us if we can’t run fast enough?”
“Probably something worse,” she sighed with a shake of her head. “They’ll probably make us take another fit test.”
Spencer grimaced at the thought. “I’d rather be terminated.”
Penelope snorted. “I just hope the PT instructors aren’t jerks. Those jock guys are always jerks.”
“Yeah, total jerks,” he agreed with a nod, but then his attention drifted away as he caught sight of two figures in the distance. “That’s probably them right now.”
Penelope squinted, following his line in sight. “Oh, look,” Penelope hissed, whipping her head back to Spencer. “He’s totally walking like a jerk. And ugh, look at her! That figure… that is just unfair.”
Spencer blinked rapidly as he could recognize your confident, hypnotic stride from miles away. “Wait a minute.”
“Oh my god, it’s them.” Penelope gasped, confirming Spencer’s suspicion as you and Derek made your way over to them.
“Why are you two here?” Penelope asked, trying to piece together what was going on.
“It looks like we’re your new PT instructors,” Derek responded, flashing an amused grin.
The second you came into view, Penelope’s complaints faded into the background, muffled to his ears. Spencer always thought you looked pretty. He admired how professional you looked, even in the field, but today was the first time he saw you outside the office. The training jacket you wore ended just above your hips, the fabric pulling snugly against your torso. His eyes traced the curve of your waist until they landed on your hips. The lavender color of your skin-tight leggings clung softly to your thighs, and Spencer had to fight back a moan at the sight. Penelope was right. Your figure was, indeed, unfair.
"Kid, where's your mind at?"
Spencer's head snapped up at Derek’s question, clearing his throat as he scrambled for an excuse. He could still feel the heat in his cheeks from the way he’d been staring at you.
Derek waved him off with an exasperated shake of his head. "Alright, from now on, I want you two to focus," he commanded in a no-nonsense tone, pointing at Spencer and Penelope.
“Shall we start with stair climbing?” Your voice rang out and Derek nodded in agreement.
“Let’s do that. Follow us,” Derek said, gesturing toward the stone stairs in the distance.
You turned to follow Morgan, and the movement knocked the breath right out of Spencer’s lungs. He choked on his inhale, his gaze drawn to the way the fabric of your leggings clung to the plumpness of your cheeks. The tight material left little to the imagination, every contour visible, accentuating the soft swell of your ass with every step. Spencer’s heart hammered in his chest, racing faster than it had during those grueling laps around the field.
Spencer’s hands clenched into fists at his sides, his jaw tightening as he fought the heat beginning to pool low in his stomach. He couldn’t help the way his body was reacting to you, and the effort to control it only made things worse.
The exercise was simple—walking up the first few steps of the stairs and back down again. You called it a warm-up, unaware that every step you took made it harder for Spencer to keep his focus. Just the sight of you moving, the sway of your hips as the leggings stretched over your thighs, was enough to drive him crazy.
"This is torture," he muttered under his breath.
"I know, right? I can’t believe they’re making us do this." Penelope replied, completely oblivious to the source of his frustration.
———
Spencer felt a wave of relief wash over him as he finally completed the exercise, his legs burning but grateful it was over.
"Good job, Spence," you said, flashing him a bright smile as you gave his chest a quick pat. "And cute outfit," you added with a teasing tone, a compliment that made his heart skip.
"Oh, I—uh, thanks," he stammered, patting his red hoodie as if to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.
"We're doing squats next. Derek's with Penelope. Want me to help you with your form?"
"Sure," he squeaked, his voice betraying his nerves.
You positioned yourself in front of him, glancing over your shoulder to make sure he was paying attention. And, obviously, he was—his gaze fixed on you almost too intently.
"Okay, the most important thing is to keep your back straight," you instructed, your voice calm and focused as you lowered your hips, sliding down until your thighs were parallel to the ground.
Spencer stood right behind you, so close that he could feel the heat radiating off your body. His shorts were growing uncomfortably tight from the proximity. He couldn’t help but imagine what it would feel like to pull you in by your waist, holding you flush against him.
"See how I'm doing it?" You asked innocently.
"Mhm. Looks good," he breathed out, his eyes lingering on you as he licked his lips.
He could picture it vividly—how perfectly his length would fit between your cheeks. How he would make you repeat that same motion against him until his dick would stand tall in response, throbbing with need. He imagined how easy it would be to slide your leggings down to your knees, leaving you exposed. Were you even wearing anything underneath?
The thought sent a surge of heat through him. He wondered if your closeness was affecting you in the same way. Wondered if he would find you wet, your pussy glistening with anticipation. Would you like him to softly trace your puffy lips with his finger? Or would you want him to waste no time, grabbing you by your thighs as he would enter you?
He asked himself if you were the type to let him take control, or if you’d bend over, pushing your own hips back against his, matching the deep rhythm of his thrusts. The thought of filling you, of hearing your gasps mix his moans, was clouding his mind.
Spencer hadn’t realized just how much his thoughts had turned him on, until your voice broke through his haze.
“Okay, your turn.”
He looked down, seeing how his dick had twitched up to the point where it was almost peeking out of his boxers. Shit. He made quick work of his hands, adjusting himself before you turned around.
“I—I’m so sorry. I need to go,” Spencer stammered, the words tumbling out in a rush before he turned and fled, leaving you without an explanation.
———
“Oh, come on man!” Derek groaned in disappointment as he spotted Spencer slumped on the grass at the far side of the field.
“I’m sorry,” Spencer mumbled.
“Just one more round. You’ve got this,” Derek encouraged.
“I can’t.”
“You’re capable of more than you think.”
“Derek, I swear… I literally can’t get up.”
Derek raised an eyebrow, and with a defeated sigh, Spencer pointed awkwardly toward his shorts.
“Oh shit,” Derek responded as the realization dawned upon him.
“Is it because of…?” He pointed to the direction where you were standing and Spencer just nodded.
“Damn,” Derek muttered. “Well, okay, just take a break. Have some water. Relax those muscles.” He winced, immediately regretting his choice of words.
Spencer nervously looked up at him. “Will you tell her?
Derek shook his head. “Nah. As long as you don’t tell Penelope this whole fit test thing is just a formality and that I could’ve got the whole thing waived.”

(Oh god I hope I’m doing this right🫠) uuuummm ask game with “SOMETHING sy and bingge” ???? I love your art and writing so much it makes me crazy 😔😔😔
You're doing great and I love u, Thank u so much <3
"SOMETHING sy and bingge" is a little one-shot I wrote where SY from syonr meets Bingge in a dream!
I think I can share the whole thing since I'm probably not gonna add anything to it- please forgive the nonexistent grammar, I'm too tired to fix it.
Shen Yuan wasn't aware that he wasn't simply dreaming.
He might have been.
If he hadn't left his system on silent, the notification of a brand new side quest would have been a giveaway.
But as it stood now, he had no clue anything was amiss when the beautiful, dark-haired figure he only remembered from his fanmade posters back home stood in front of him.
Luo Binghe.
It wasn't his Binghe, his friend was still shorter than him at this point and his demon heritage was still firmly locked away. The man in front of him was- Wow! Truly out of the final chapters of Proud Immortal Demon Way!
Tall and Handsome, his curly dark hair cascading on his shoulders artfully and framing his face perfectly, letting his shiny zuiyin peek from behind his locks just enough to paint, overall, unfairly beautiful picture.
No wonder every woman fell into the guy's bed! Who wouldn't?
Shen Yuan couldn't help a little squeal of excitement when he spotted Xin Mo– Xin Mo! Was in his hands! He could act a little excited about it, it was a dream after all! He didn’t have to hold back his inner fanboy
“Can I hold Xin Mo?” He asked before Luo Binghe could say anything.
Shen Yuan had paid no mind to how the man had been staring at him until then, his mind probably couldn't come up with more cool things to have this perfect copy of Binghe do.
Just existing was cool enough!
But now that he was waiting for an answer he paid more attention to the movements of the demon emperor. Luo Binghe seemed startled by the request. He looked down at the sword, then back at Shen Yuan.
“You know its name. “ He said.
Shen Yuan scoffed and rolled his eyes.
“Of course I know its name! It's the strongest sword in the world!” What sort of question was this? Brain please make the cool Binghe of his dreams not make dumb questions.
Luo Binghe's eyes narrowed, then he stepped closer to Shen Yuan.
He was huge compared to him in his stupid teen body. Shen Yuan might have stepped back if he were awake simply because Luo Binghe's presence was the sort that made you want to shrink back in fear.
But it was only a dream! It was his favorite character in front of him, in all his glory! He couldn't help the grinning from ear to ear.
Binghe seemed… confused by this.
Shen Yuan hummed, still waiting for an answer. He thought, maybe this version of Binghe was slightly influenced by how he saw his own Binghe. This close up, If he looked at him right, with just a tilt of his head to the side he could spot tiny details this version of Binghe shared with his friend.
Despite the age difference they made the same expression when they were confused, their eyebrows creased in the same way, their eyes darted to the side then back down like always. It made him smile more.
“Do you know it's cursed? “ Luo Binghe asks.
“Duh!” He has to roll his eyes again. Really, brain. What sort of questions are you making him ask? “ It's only a dream, what harm can it do?” He says instead.
Binghe keeps staring at him but this time Shen Yuan is not able to read that expression, it's not like any his friend has shown before. Then a smile paints itself on the demon's face.
“You can hold the sword if you answer some questions I have.” He says.
Shen Yuan grimaces. Not even in his dreams can he just have a cool thing! Knowing his brain, Binghe is gonna ask him to recite that poem he's been struggling to copy down in calligraphy class. ugh.
“Okay, but no questions on the curriculum!”
Ah, there's that confused expression again. that's funny.
Binghe clears his throat.
“Are you Shen Jiu?”
Shen yuan blinks. Who's that supposed to be now? Ah, wasn't that Shen Qingqiu’s name before ascension? bah, it didn't matter!
“No, That's Shizun. I'm Shen Yuan. Let me hold the sword now” He reached for the hilt but Binghe simply raised it out of his reach. Then he had the nerve to look amused.
Look at you already abusing your height A-Luo!
“I said questions.” He mocked. “Do you recognize me? You don't seem scared.”
What sort of interview was this? He crossed his arms.
“How many questions? Give me a number!” He wasn't about to have his dream end before being able to hold the sword!
The demon smiled. “A thousand.”
“Eh?! That's so unfair, Binghe!” Shen Yuan cried “I'm gonna wake up before even reaching half of that! Heartless! “
The demon seemed even more amused at the teen's outburst.
Then the hilt of Xin Mo was presented to Shen Yuan.
He let out an undignified squeal again and reached for the sword. only to have it yanked back up before he could touch it again.
Unfair!!! He was being bullied by the hot future version of his best friend!!!
“I changed my mind, I don't want to hold Xin Mo.” He pouted.
A small laugh left the demon emperor.
—
Luo Binghe was known across the three realms as the immortal demon emperor.
He was known by now for taking what he wanted.
In his search for his “Nice Shizun” he hadn’t thought he’d find so many different versions of him. Sometimes his nice shizun wasn’t his shizun at all. Sometimes it was a nice shishu, sometimes it was a nice stranger, sometimes it was a nice shidi.
This “Nice Shizun” seemed to be the main variant missing from his life, every other world he visited had some version of it, only his didn’t.
Why, he couldn’t understand. But he wouldn’t wallow in how unfair his life was, he’d stopped doing that when he first hit the bottom of the abyss.
He just needed to find the perfect nice Shizun to steal for himself. Have another version of himself suffer like he did. it would only be fair.
Maybe the nice Shidi could work.

ᑭIᒪᗴ 1
For pile 1, I see that your shadow side often manifests as emotional manipulation. When you don’t get what you want, you tend to go into your head, overthinking, and find ways to subtly manipulate others to get what you desire. You have a tendency to self-isolate, spending too much time in your head, overthinking situations. You’re not always the best at integrating yourself into the world around you. You quickly retreat, pulling away from others and going into isolation. This behavior is part of the manipulation, too. When you don’t get your way, you ghost, walk away, or avoid confrontation. You make it clear that you’re not going to engage, choosing instead to retreat into yourself.
However, this self-isolation leads to stagnation. You spend too much time in your head, ruminating and trying to manipulate situations, which doesn’t help you grow. You’re not opening yourself up to new opportunities when you withdraw. By staying in this cycle of isolation, overthinking, and emotional manipulation, you prevent yourself from experiencing new things and finding healthier ways to channel your emotions. You shut yourself off from the world and miss out on potential opportunities to explore or shift your mindset. You’re not giving yourself the chance to move forward because you’re trapped in this repetitive cycle.
During these periods of isolation, you may also cut off contact with people, ghosting them and becoming distant. If someone does try to engage with you, you may respond in a snappy, petty, or immature way. You could say something hurtful or fail to resolve an issue, only making things worse by not addressing the problem. Holding on to grudges and not letting go of past issues is another challenge for you. When you feel like you possess something, you struggle to release it, even if it’s no longer serving you. You often hold on to things, even dead weight, out of fear of instability. This attachment can be detrimental, keeping you stuck in unhealthy situations.
You tend to deal with a lot of instability, particularly in your relationships. This might stem from an immature way of thinking or communicating with others, where emotional manipulation and withdrawal lead to hot-and-cold dynamics. Your inability to be genuine and authentic creates instability in your connections. You try to gloss over problems by maintaining a positive outlook, holding on to hope that things will improve without addressing the underlying issues. This leads to gaslighting yourself, believing that your actions won’t have consequences, or that things will magically work out. In reality, holding on to things that no longer serve you keeps you stagnant, and when you do let go, it’s often too quickly, without giving situations the time they need to improve.
The themes of instability in your relationships are clear, and I believe you struggle with emotional intelligence and balancing your own energy with that of others. You may have difficulty understanding your emotions and how they impact your relationships. This imbalance further contributes to the challenges you face in connecting with others in a healthy, sustainable way.
ᑭIᒪᗴ 2
For this pile, I sense that you experience a lot of emotional overwhelm and struggle with managing your emotions. There’s also a sense of manipulation involved. You come across as someone who can be very much a “my way or the highway” type of person. You easily feel attacked, and you have a lot of pride issues. You take things way too personally and can’t find a balance between allowing someone to express themselves without feeling like you’re being attacked. You take everything to heart, which makes you feel the need to fight and defend yourself. This leads to a lot of clashes with people because you can’t let things just be. You have a hard time accepting that some people will simply be the way they are, and you feel the need to assert your opinion and your will. You know that certain people are not going to agree with you, yet you still engage with them, even if they’re problematic.
You also have a passive-aggressive side. Instead of directly expressing how you feel, you try to play it cool and act like everything is fine. But when you can’t take it anymore, you have emotional outbursts where you say a bunch of things you regret. You sometimes underestimate your ability to handle certain conversations or situations. You think you can handle them, but then they end up blowing up in your face. You are a very sensitive person, and you tend to absorb and internalize what others say emotionally, which leads to overthinking. This overthinking is part of why you can be passive-aggressive—you try to avoid conflict, but your emotions, at times, make you conflict-driven.
At the same time, you have a conflict-avoidant side, where you shut down, isolate yourself, and ghost people. You retreat into your own head, overthinking things while shutting everyone else out. This combination of being conflict-driven and conflict-avoidant makes you unpredictable. People don’t always know what to expect from you. You can be emotionally volatile, with mood swings that make it hard for others to know how to deal with you. You might not have strong boundaries because you struggle with controlling your moods. Some days, you show up as a cool, happy, engaging person, and other days, you’re crabby, distant, and don’t want to be bothered.
This unpredictability can drive people away. The sudden shift in your behavior can be jarring, and some people might find it too much to handle. You also have periods where you completely withdraw from others, not wanting to talk or interact with anyone. These inconsistencies in your behavior make it challenging for others to know how to approach or relate to you.
ᑭIᒪᗴ 3
For pile three, I feel like you often get stuck in life. There’s a lot of fear holding you back from broadening your horizons. You tend to be very secretive, and this secrecy deceives others, but it also holds you back. Instead of putting yourself out into the world, you hide in the shadows. By doing so, you miss opportunities. Even though you might want to start things, you don’t allow them to grow beyond the initial stage. You don’t give yourself enough time or patience to nurture the seeds, goals, and ideas you have because you quickly lose interest. You become apathetic too fast, and it seems like things no longer matter to you. You often tap out emotionally—getting fully invested one moment, then pulling away and acting distant the next. You tend to either isolate yourself too much or keep things too reserved.
You need to put yourself out into the world more, but you struggle to maintain your energy. You have moments of enthusiasm where you start goals or projects, but that energy fades quickly. As a result, you never reach the maturity needed to complete things, and you withdraw. You remain reserved, acting shy or indifferent, but deep down, you struggle with low confidence. You’re afraid of change, afraid of movement, and afraid of doing something different. You prefer the mundane, the routine, and you don’t know how to break out of it. There’s a fear of something going wrong, and you’re trying to protect yourself from what you perceive as potential upheaval, hurt, or pain. But in trying to protect yourself, you’re only protecting your ego, which means you’re not flourishing in the way you desire.
Your confidence is low, and you don’t believe in yourself enough. You don’t give yourself the stamina or time to endure the process and stages required to achieve your goals. You give up too easily and withdraw quickly. You don’t give yourself the patience to continue, and this keeps you stuck. By keeping yourself behind closed doors and withdrawing, you miss out on opportunities. It often takes dramatic situations to force you to face the truth because you’ve built up so many unresolved issues. You don’t feel confident in how you look, act, or what you do, and that’s holding you back.
You struggle with follow-through, which leads to abandoning things before completing them. This prevents you from reaching a point where you can truly put yourself out there and try new things. Instead, it’s the same monotonous routine, and your passion fizzles out quickly. You don’t have a strong grasp on sustaining things, and maintaining consistency seems to be a difficult aspect of your life. You need to adopt a more positive mindset, as it seems you struggle with confidence and with maintaining progress in your endeavors.
ᑭIᒪᗴ 4
For Pile 4, I feel like you hold on to the past too much, and that’s the main issue here. You have such an emotional attachment to the past that it’s hard for you to stay in the present moment and remain grounded. Instead, you often drift off into thoughts about past events. While it’s normal to feel nostalgic, you sometimes hold on to past attachments, seeing things through rose-colored glasses. This causes you to become overly emotionally attached, making it difficult to see things clearly.
Another thing I sense about you is that you overexert yourself. You tend to be very self-sacrificial and care about people deeply, but to your own detriment. Your emotional intensity when it comes to giving to others can be overwhelming because you might lack boundaries. You don’t know how to say no, take time for yourself, or stop when you’ve reached your limit. You don’t fully understand your limitations or know enough about yourself to set healthy boundaries, which leads to you taking on too much. You say yes too often and end up overburdened. Like Pile 3, you may start many things, and you have a lot of good ideas and goals, but following through is difficult. There’s a lack of drive to finish what you’ve started, and you struggle with patience and stamina when it comes to completing tasks.
It seems like you’re always going through something—facing conflict or challenges in your life that cause you to burn yourself out. You then have to dig yourself out of difficult situations, repeating this cycle. You might find yourself saying, “Now I’m finally in a good place,” only to burn out again and have to rebuild. This cyclical pattern can keep you stuck.
I also feel like it’s very hard for you to let go of the past and release people from your life, even if they’re toxic or unhealthy for you. It’s difficult for you to accept endings, and you often push your will too hard. Forcing yourself to endure struggles just to get what you want isn’t healthy, yet sometimes you’re willing to put yourself through instability because you believe you can come out of it. Even though you do manage to recover, you still hold on to emotional pain, which can lead to resentment. So, many of you are dealing with a deep well of resentment, which is not healthy. It’s hard for you to move past things and embrace change, even when it’s necessary. You tend to hoard emotions internally, and while you may not show it to others, you’re really going through a lot.
Speaking to others and freeing yourself from your attachment to the past could help you move forward, but letting go of things and dealing with change is challenging for you. This is a shadow aspect of yourself. When you avoid change, you end up stuck in a loop that you can’t escape. You need to take time for yourself, but it’s difficult for you to do so. You focus so much on others and external things that it’s hard for you to turn inward and focus on your true self.

The Secretary - Park Min-Su x Fem!Reader
Synopsis: Park Min-Su is the heir to a company he doesn't want. He's not made for the cutthroat world of business. His father hires you to be his secretary, nothing more than a bit of eye candy for the son he can't figure out. But you're so much more than that. And you know Min-Su is worth more than he thinks. If only you can teach him to be as confident as you are.
A/N - Picture the scene: a high stakes investment company, a heir who is terrified of his own shadow, and a sexy secretary with the patience of a Saint who'll teach Min-Su about business, power and sex. I am so excited for this storyline because I love a dominant female lead!
Park Min-Su’s life had been planned out for him before he’d even been born. His grandfather had set up an investment company in the 1970’s, one that had grown to almost dizzying heights of success. The company had then been passed to Min-Su’s father in the 1990’s, with the view to make everything his one day. But Min-Su didn’t want the company, he hated the pressure that came with being a CEO, detested the cutthroat manner his father and grandfather possessed. He didn’t have a keen eye for business, he couldn’t command a room full a people like his father could.
Min-Su was timid, and quiet, and preferred to fade quietly into the background where no one would notice him. He hated having to wear a suit every day, forced to sit in meetings about things that he didn’t fully understand. All the conversations about investments and portfolios went right over his head; he wasn’t the keen businessman his family wanted him to be. He’d thought about telling his father that he didn’t want the company, that perhaps it could be passed off to someone more deserving. But his father wasn’t in the habit of listening to Min-Su; he thought he knew best, and that his son needed to be guided by him in order to succeed.
He dreaded coming into the office, hated walking through the expansive marble hallways as people bowed to him, sucked up to him and pretended to like him. No one in that company liked Min-Su; they liked his father, and his father’s money. He’d often hide in the bathrooms at lunch, praying that no one would notice his absence. At 28 years old, he had no idea what he wanted to do with his life, but he knew he didn’t want to be a CEO.
His father could see Min-Su was struggling, but failure was not an option when it came to the business. He just needed a push, an incentive to get him to see that the path laid out for him was the right one. He knew nothing about his son and never had the inclination to attempt to bond with him. He’d given Min-Su luxury cars, villas in several countries and access to an unlimited amount of cash but couldn’t understand why his son still wasn’t happy. So, he hired you, a secretary who was easy on the eyes, someone to give Min-Su something to look at while he worked. You had a stellar CV, and excellent work ethic and his father hoped you’d bring his son out of his shell.
Min-Su had never been good with women, had never even so much as kissed a girl. He was constantly rendered speechless around you, his mouth agape whenever you walked into the room. you commanded attention in your heels and silk shirt, the lace of your bra visible through the thin fabric. He couldn’t even say his own name around you, let alone have a conversation with you, but you were so patient. You helped him get to grips with his diary, taking mundane admin tasks off his hands. You accompanied him to meetings, taking notes and then typing them up, making sure everything was in a language that Min-Su could understand. You knew he struggled with the fast-paced environment in the meetings, not entirely understanding the technical words used by the partners. You made sure his notes were clear, concise and simple, giving him the ability to get to grips with his role. You fetched his lunch, his dry cleaning, and his coffee. He never once asked you to do any of these things for him, but nothing was too much trouble for you.
His father had hired you to keep his son entertained, but Min-Su was so soft and gentle, far too kind for the cutthroat world of investments. You did your best to shield him, pretending you didn’t hear the things employees whispered about him behind his back. You did your best to encourage him to come out of his shell, telling him everything about yourself in the hopes he’d open up. But he wore the permanent look of a rabbit caught in the headlights, terrified of his own shadow. You noticed the way he stared at you; the way he stammered his words whenever he spoke to you. You so badly wanted to bolster his confidence, to show him he knew more than he thought.
You bided your time, chipping away at his terrified exterior little by little. You worked long into the night, never once giving up no matter how little he gave you. You knew there was a fire deep within Min-Su. He just needed a confident woman to help bring it out.

————————-🤎—————————
You and Spencer were in the mall on his day, it is not somewhere he’d like to spend his day off he’d rather spend it in bed with you or take you out to see a movie, basically shopping wasn’t really his thing but he was more than happy to do it with you and being the gentleman he is; carry all your bags.
“Where to next honey?” Spencer asked his free hand finding your lower back as you both walked.
“I need a dress for JJ’s wedding, but I could do that on a different day. This must be boring for you and I’m still unsure of what I want,” You shrugged.
“I don’t mind looking around if you want to find something, maybe I could help.”
“If you really want to.”
“I’d never pass up watching you try on dresses,” Spencer moved his hand to hold yours.
You loved how affectionate Spencer was, despite his fear of germs he would never pass up the opportunity to be holding your hand or touching you in some way.
You took the lead in dragging Spencer into a slightly expensive dress shop after seeing a couple in the window that looked pretty and fit with JJ’s main colour schemes of blue and silver.
“Wow that’s gorgeous,” You said looking at a long sparkly silver knit dress that had a fair amount of gaps in it making it slightly see-through.
“That is… not really for a wedding,” Spencer said picturing you in it.
“You don’t like it? I wouldn’t suit it?”
“No, you’d look gorgeous, too gorgeous.”
“I’m trying it on,” You laughed picking up the dress in your size, “See anything nice?”
“For myself?” Spencer laughs.
“No Spence, for me, blue or silver.”
“I haven’t looked,” Scans his eyes around the shop, “That’s pretty,” He pointed at a dark blue dress that laced up at the back.
“It is, will you get it for me please, I’m going to look at that one,” You point at a silk silver dress with an open back.
“That’s pretty,” Spencer said before leaving you to get the dress.
In the time it took Spencer to get the dress, you had found another dress you liked and decided that four was enough to try on since you didn’t want to be too long and bore your boyfriend.
You dragged Spencer towards the fitting rooms as best you could with the dresses you were carrying.
“Sit here,” You pointed to a small sofa that was in front of the door to the dressing room cubical you were about to enter.
“Got it,” Spencer laughed obeying what you said.
Spencer waited on his phone for you to put the first dress on. You were saving the knit dress for last so the first one you put on was the lace-up back dress Spencer chose.
You walked out of the fitting room holding the dress up around your breasts, “Spence, can you tie the back up please?”
Spencer slid his phone into his jeans pocket and cleared his throat looking at you with hearts in his eyes as he nodded not trusting himself to speak. He got up and spun you around so your back was facing him. He pulled the silky string together tying it in a bow.
You turned back around to face him once it was done up and gave him a little pose, “Thoughts?”
Spencer looked you up and down his eyes mostly drawn to the way the tied back made the dress hug your waist and push your breasts up, “You’re gorgeous,” he gulped.
“Thank you, Next?” You asked.
“Wait, I’m taking pictures,” Spencer took his phone out and snapped a picture of you from the front and then indicated for you to turn around so he could get one from the back.
“Seriously?” You laughed.
“What? You look good,” He shrugged.
You shook your head, rolling your eyes playfully as you went back into the fitting room and put on the second dress you found with the open back. This one was a little too long but you still looked good in it and the colour looked amazing with your hair.
Spencer’s jaw almost dropped as you walked out of the fitting room, he liked the first dress a little more but this was still stunning.
“Thoughts on this one?” You giggled at his eyes widening.
“You look like a princess honey,” He stood up placing a hand on your waist and catching your lips in a quick kiss before spinning you around to see the low cut back, “Your back is gorgeous.”
“You’re charming babe,” You placed a kiss on his cheek and once again he pulled his phone out to take some pictures of you.
The final dress you had was strapless in dark blue with silver sparkles. It was definitely one that would fit the theme for the wedding the best and you thought it looked gorgeous on you, this time you felt like a princess.
Spencer’s jaw fully dropped this time as you walked out of the fitting room.
“Thoughts?” You asked again for the third time.
“Wow,” Spencer said.
You spun around to show him the whole dress.
“Do you like it?” he asked staring at you.
“I love it, I think I’ll get this one,” You smoothed the dress out with your hands.
“Yes, you should definitely get this one, wow,” Spencer tried to hide a small smirk on his face but you could see it.
You blushed slightly biting your lip, “Stop staring at me like that.”
“Sorry, you’re just perfect.”
“Shut up!” You blushed more and turned to go back into the fitting room cubicle, “I’ve got the knit one left to try on, can you come in I don’t want to walk out in it.”
“Yeah,” Spencer followed you into the cubical that was much larger than he thought it was going to be.
“Close your eyes so I can take the dress off,” You said.
Spencer raised an eyebrow, “Why?”
“Because I’m almost fully naked!”
Spencer closed his eyes, “You know I see you naked a lot right?”
“That’s different,” You said pulling the dress off and clipping your black lace bra on at the back.
Once you had the knitted dress on you told him to open his eyes.
“I’m buying you that for you,” Spencer said immediately.
“Oh yeah? Why’s that?” You flirted twirling your hair with your finger and walking closer to him.
“Because you’re sexy?” Spencer scrunched his nose, he didn’t like the word, he felt like it was objectifying but he couldn’t think of anything else right now to say.
You giggled, “Mm thank you. You’ve been so good today Spence, waiting for me to try everything on,” You straddled his lap instantly feeling his growing erection, “Excited baby?”
Spencer groaned, “Sorry, you’re just really pretty.”
“It’s okay,” You placed a kiss on his lips, “Should I help you out?”
“Here? No way? We are in public,” Spencer’s eyes widened.
“I’m sure we can be quiet,” You leaned back in biting his bottom lip gently.
“Honey,” Spencer moaned quietly into your mouth.
You climbed off his lap and pulled the dress down leaving you in the bra and a matching pair of panties letting him look you up and down before getting back on his lap.
“That’s new,” He ran his fingers over the lace covering your left nipple, making a shiver run through you that made your nipples hard.
“Yeah, I got it last week. Like?” You asked rocking against him lightly.
“Love it,” he said kissing your lips slightly rougher than you had previously kissed him.
You ran your hand down his clothed chest and opened the button of his trousers. You got up off his lap so he could remove them along with pulling his boxers down enough for his erection to spring out.
“Where’s your wallet?” You breathed out.
“Why?” He asked pulling you closer to him once again.
“Condom,” You muttered between kisses.
Spencer’s eyebrows knitted together before you spoke again.
“We can’t make a mess,” You deepened the kiss sliding your tongue into his mouth.
He nodded, sliding his hand into the back pocket of his jeans that were now on the floor and pulling out his wallet before handing it to you.
You opened it up and took it out quickly ripping it open.
“Is that even in date?” He asked.
You shrugged sliding it onto his hard and long erection hearing him moan as quietly as he could at the sensation making you feel a rush of warmth between your legs.
Spencer pulled your panties to the side and helped you line yourself up with his cock.
You wasted no time in sinking down onto Spencer’s cock watching as he filled you up. You whimpered at the feeling of yourself stretching for him. Every time it felt similar but somehow the feeling got better every time you had sex.
“Are you okay?” Spencer whispered checking in on you.
“Yeah,” You sighed in pleasure as you started to move riding him.
Spencer lowered his lips to your shoulder sucking it leaving marks.
“Oh my god,” you whispered into his ear once he was angled deep enough inside that with each movement he grazed your g-spot.
“Keep going,” Spencer’s mouth fell open his eyes fluttering closed. You quickly moved one of your hands to cover his mouth as a precaution.
“Are you close baby?” You said with a hushed groan at the end.
Spencer nodded, his hips rutting against yours. He moved one of his hands from your hips to splay across your lower stomach his thumb reaching down to nudge against your clit.
“Yes Spencer,” You whine connecting your lips together so his mouth would catch the sounds that were about to come from you once you felt a familiar sensation burn through your lower stomach.
Your walls tightened around him as you let out a string of moans into his mouth while you came triggering his climax just seconds after yours. He filled up the condom still deep inside of you with a whimper that was almost too loud for where you were.
“Shhh,” you put your finger to your lips with a giggle after you pulled away from him.
Spencer left a few pecks against your lip before helping you up off of him, “You look gorgeous on top of me.”
“Enough babe, you’ve told me I look good too many times today.”
“I can’t help it,” Spencer ran his hand over your hip.
“Get dressed,” You laughed throwing his pants at him after putting your shirt back on.
When dressed both of you left the fitting rooms. Spencer holding your dresses refusing to let you pay for either of them.
“Ready to go home?” Spencer asked wrapping an arm around your waist as you left the store after he purchased the dresses for you.
“So ready,” You yawned and smiled up at him, “I want to get in bed and cuddle up with you for the rest of the night.”
“I can certainly do that. Let’s go,” He said rubbing his thumb over your hip as you walked out of the mall.

they would find you not sleeping by an accident, and would put you back to sleep themselves — yelan, xiao
yelan
the night was cool and still, the faint hum of liyue harbour in the distance mingled with the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze. you leaned against the balcony railing of your room, gazing out at the twinkling lights of the city below. sleep had eluded you tonight, your mind restless despite the hour.
the sound of a faint, almost imperceptible footstep behind you broke the silence. you whirled around, your heart leaping to your throat, only to see a familiar figure emerge from the shadows.
"yelan?" you blurted out, your voice a mixture of surprise and confusion. "what are you doing here?" she crossed her arms, one brow arched in a way that was both amused and mildly reproachful. "'no,'" she countered softly, her tone sharp yet playful. "what are you doing here?"
for a moment, you were at a loss for words. "i... couldn't sleep," you finally admitted, gesturing vaguely at the cityscape. "i thought some fresh air might help clear my head." yelan stepped closer, her movements as fluid and deliberate as ever, still dressed in her usual attire - dark and smooth, perfect for blending into the night - but her expression was softer than usual.
"you know," she said, her voice low and tinged with concern, "roaming around at this hour isn't exactly the best way to deal with insomnia, especially on a balcony where you could catch a cold." you rolled your eyes slightly and leaned back against the railing. "i wasn't exactly 'roaming', yelan. and besides, what are the odds of you showing up here of all places? were you spying on me or something?"
she grinned and tilted her head. "i wasn't spying, no. but let's just say i have my ways of knowing when someone i care about is up to something they shouldn't be.” even though her words made you feel a little warmer out in this cold night, you couldn't help but tease her back. "so, what, you decided to come and give me a lecture about bedtime?"
yelan chuckled, the sound deep and melodic. "something like that. though," she added, her eyes narrowing slightly, "i didn't expect to find you brooding out here in the cold. what's on your mind?"
you hesitated, the weight of her attention making you feel both comforted and exposed. "just... couldn't stop thinking about things. nothing specific, really. it's like my brain refuses to turn off."
she nodded thoughtfully, moving closer until she was standing next to you. "i know the feeling," she said softly, her voice losing its teasing edge. "but staying up all night won't help. trust me." you turned to look at her, her face lit by the moonlight, her sharp, confident demeanour seeming softer for the moment, her usual air of mystery replaced by genuine concern.
"i suppose you're right," you murmured, your voice barely audible.
"i usually am," she said, smirking again, though it lacked her usual sharpness, and then, without warning, she reached out and took your hand, her grip firm yet gentle. "come. let's get you back into bed."
you blinked, startled by the sudden contact. "you're going to put me to bed now?"
"someone has to," she quipped, her grin widening. "and you obviously can't be trusted to do it yourself."
despite her playful tone, there was something undeniably tender about the way she led you back to your room, not letting go of your hand until you were sitting on the edge of your bed, her presence somehow both reassuring and commanding.
as you settled under the covers, she pulled a chair close to the bed and sat down, her gaze steady and unwavering. "now close your eyes," she said, her voice softer than before.
"you're staying?" you asked, surprised. "just until you fall asleep," she replied, leaning back in the chair with a faint smile. "i have to make sure you don't sneak back out on the balcony."
you couldn't help but smile at her persistence, your heart swelling with affection for the woman who could so easily command a room - or your restless mind - with just a few words.
"thank you, yelan," you murmured, your eyes growing heavy under her watchful gaze.
"anytime," she replied softly, and for the first time that night, you felt truly at ease.
her presence was so comforting that it wasn't long before your eyes began to close uncontrollably and yelan's silhouette began to blur.
"don't forget to close the door," was the only thing you whispered to your friend, half asleep. the little smirk on her face went unnoticed, unlike the wide-open door that was the first thing you saw in the morning with a runny nose.
hey, after all, they say it's better to sleep in a cold room, right?
xiao
the air was crisp on the terrace of the wangshu inn, the faint hum of nocturnal creatures filling the silence of the night. the inn was quiet, its usual bustle replaced by the stillness that only comes in the early hours. you sat on the edge of the terrace, your legs dangling over the side as you gazed out at the moonlit expanse of the dihua marsh.
the night had always felt peaceful to you, a time to think and breathe without the weight of the day pressing down on you. but tonight, that peace eluded you. your thoughts were restless, keeping you from the sleep you so desperately needed.
a faint gust of wind blew past you, and a familiar presence settled behind you, and you didn't need to turn to know who it was.
"xiao," you said softly, your voice carrying easily in the still night.
"what are you doing here?" his voice came, sharp but tinged with concern. you turned to see him standing a few paces away, his golden eyes fixed on you with that intense gaze he always seemed to carry.
you sighed and turned back to the view of the marsh. "i couldn't sleep, i don't know why exactly," you sighed, "i guess it's just a human thing."
xiao's footsteps were almost silent as he approached, stopping just behind you. he remained quiet for a moment, the silence stretching between you. then his voice came again, softer this time. "the night is not meant for mortals to linger, it is when dangers arise, even here."
you glanced over your shoulder at him, a small smile tugging at your lips. "i think I'll be fine with the mighty conqueror of demons around."
he frowned, clearly unimpressed by your attempt at humour. "i’m serious," he said, his tone firm but lacking his usual edge. "your body needs rest. staying awake like this is... unwise."
you sighed again, your shoulders slumping slightly. "i know, but i just can't. it's like the more i try, the harder it gets."
xiao's frown deepened, but instead of reacting, he came closer, lowering himself to sit beside you on the edge of the terrace. his presence was grounding, a quiet strength that seemed to calm your racing thoughts.
"mortals and their endless worries," he murmured, almost to himself. "you carry so much, even when you don't need to."
you looked at him, surprised at the softness in his tone. "it's not like i can help it," you admitted. "it's just... life, i guess."
he was silent for a moment, his gaze fixed on the marsh below, then he spoke again, his voice low and almost hesitant. "if it helps... you're not alone. even if i'm not around, i'm watching."
the weight of his words settled over you, a warmth blooming in your chest. xiao was not one to offer comfort lightly, and his presence alone spoke volumes.
"thank you, xiao," you said softly, leaning a little closer to him. he turned his head to look at you, his golden eyes catching the moonlight. for a moment he said nothing, but the intensity of his gaze made your heart skip a beat.
"come," he said finally, standing up and offering you his hand. "you need the rest." you hesitated, glancing at the railing as if debating whether to stay. but the gentle insistence in his eyes left little room for argument. you took his hand, his grip firm and steady as he helped you to your feet.
back in your room, xiao lingered by the window, his back to you as you settled into bed. his presence was a silent reassurance that you weren't alone. "will you stay?" you asked softly, the words slipping out before you could question them.
he turned to look at you, his expression unreadable, and for a moment you thought he might refuse, but then he gave a small nod. "i'll stay until you sleep."
you smiled and closed your eyes as the sounds of the night filled the room, and as sleep finally claimed you, you felt safe, knowing that he was there, watching over you like the ever-dedicated guardian he was.
they would stay up with you for a little longer — ganyu, ayato
ganyu
the soft glow of a lantern illuminated the desk in your study, casting flickering shadows across the neatly stacked papers and open books. the night was deep, its silence broken only by the occasional rustle of the wind against the windows. you leaned over your work, exhaustion tugging at your eyelids, but unable to outweigh the sheer volume of tasks that still demanded your attention.
just as you reached for your quill again, the faint sound of footsteps caught your attention. turning towards the doorway, you found ganyu standing there, her soft blue hair illuminated by the dim light. she looked at you with a mixture of surprise and concern.
"you're still awake?" she asked quietly, stepping into the room.
you smiled, trying to sound more awake than you felt. "i could say the same about you."
she chuckled softly, closing the distance between you. "you know, i tend to overwork myself sometimes, but you... i didn't expect to find you burning the midnight oil."
"i have a lot to finish," you admitted, gesturing to the scattered papers on the desk. "i thought i could get it all done before tomorrow, but... well, here i am."
ganyu's eyes swept over the desk, taking in the clutter with a practiced eye. her expression softened, and she reached out to place a hand on your shoulder. "you've been working too hard, you should rest.”
"i know," you said with a sigh. "but if i don't finish this tonight, i'll be even further behind tomorrow. i'll sleep when i'm done, i promise."
her lips pressed into a thin line, her concern evident, and then, after a moment, she nodded, though her hand remained on your shoulder. "if you're determined to finish this tonight," she said gently, "then let me help you."
you blinked, startled. "no, you don't have to..."
"but i want to," she interrupted, her voice firm yet kind. "i know what it's like to feel overwhelmed by work. sometimes it's easier if someone is there to share the burden."
her words fell like a warm blanket over you, and for a moment all you could do was stare at her. ganyu's dedication had always been one of the things you admired most about her, but her willingness to extend that dedication to you - to stay up late and help you simply because she cared - made your chest tighten with affection.
"then thank you, ganyu," you said quietly.
she offered you a small smile, one that carried more warmth than the entire room. "where should i start?"
you quickly organized the papers, explaining what needed to be done. ganyu took a seat beside you, her delicate fingers moving deftly as she worked through the tasks. her presence was calming, her quiet focus making it easier for you to concentrate.
for a while, the two of you worked in comfortable silence, the only sounds being the scratching of pens on paper and the occasional shuffling of documents. you glanced at her every now and then, marveling at how serene she looked even in the midst of tedious work.
finally, you leaned back in your chair and stretched your arms over your head. "i think that's the last of it," you said with a tired but satisfied sigh.
ganyu looked up from her own pile of papers, a hint of relief in her expression. "i’m glad we could finish it together," she said quietly, putting down her pen.
you smiled at her, your exhaustion momentarily forgotten. "i don't know what i’d do without you."
a faint blush rose to her cheeks and she looked away shyly. "i haven't done much," she murmured.
"you've done more than enough," you insisted, reaching out to take her hand. "you stayed with me when you didn't have to. that means everything to me.”
she hesitated for a moment, then squeezed your hand gently, her eyes meeting yours. "you mean a lot to me," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "i just want to make sure you take care of yourself."
your heart swelled at her words, and you gave her hand a reassuring squeeze. "i'll try. as long as you promise to do the same."
she smiled, the kind of smile that lit up her whole face, and nodded. "i promise."
as the first rays of dawn began to creep through the window, you and ganyu made your way to the bed, exhaustion finally catching up to both of you. she stayed close, her warmth a comforting presence as you drifted off to sleep. and in that quiet moment, with her by your side, you knew you wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
ayato
the inkwell was nearly empty, and the paper under your hand was beginning to blur from the strain in your tired eyes. the silence of the night wrapped around you like a heavy cloak, broken only by the occasional rustling of papers or the faint scratching of your pen. you knew you should be in bed, but there was so much to do, and the hours slipped away before you realized how late it was.
you didn't hear ayato's footsteps at first. his movements were as graceful and quiet as ever, the only warning of his presence being the soft rustle of his robes as he approached. you looked up, startled, to see his gentle smile framed by the warm light of the lantern he carried.
"you are still awake," he said softly, his tone a mixture of curiosity and concern. "what could require so much of your attention at this hour?"
you sighed, putting down the quill and rubbing at your temples. "there's just too much to do, ayato. i couldn't sleep knowing this was unfinished."
his eyes flickered to the papers spread across the desk, then back to you. his smile didn't falter, but there was a knowing look in his eyes that made you feel both cared for and slightly scolded. "and i thought i was the workaholic in this relationship," he teased lightly.
you gave him a tired laugh, and his expression softened further. without another word, he put down the lantern and pulled up a chair beside you. "then i’ll help you," he said simply, taking one of the documents from the pile.
"ayato, you don't have to..."
"i insist," he interrupted smoothly, his tone leaving no room for argument. "if you're determined to stay awake, i'll make sure you don't have to shoulder this alone. besides," he added with a playful touch, "i’m quite efficient, you know."
and he was! as you worked, ayato's sharp mind and quick hands proved invaluable, easing your burden more than you thought possible. but more than his help, it was his presence that soothed you - the soft hum of his voice as he made the occasional comment, the comforting weight of his shoulder brushing yours as he leaned over to hand you something.
time seemed to pass differently with him there, and before you knew it, the last of the work was done. you leaned back in your chair, exhaustion settling in, but the relief was palpable.
ayato looked at you, his smile tinged with satisfaction. "there, you see? together we can do anything.”
you laughed softly and shook your head. "thank you, ayato. really."
he stood and offered you his hand with a flourish. "my pleasure. but now, my dear, there is one more task we must complete tonight."
you raised an eyebrow and took his hand. "and what's that?"
"to make sure you get the rest you deserve," he said, his voice warm as he led you to the bed.
he pulled back the covers for you, waiting until you were comfortably tucked in before sliding in next to you, his arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you close. "next time, let me know if you're overwhelmed," he murmured, his lips brushing against your forehead. "i’d rather spend the night by your side than let you face it alone."
you nodded sleepily, the weight of his words and the warmth of his embrace lulling you into a peaceful haze. with ayato holding you close, sleep came easily, and you drifted off with the soft hum of his voice still echoing in your mind.

Chapter 7: Homecoming
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: none
Paring: Paige Bueckers x !photographer fem reader
Fandom: Women's basketball
Summary: who would have thought going home would have Granny playin match maker..
Welcome to the chapter 7 of Through The Lens. I hope you all enjoy and there is more to come...stay tuned my loveies!! 🏀💕📸
The plane ride back to Georgia felt longer than it should have. The weight of the past month pressed down on me as I stared out the window. Between the rumors, the growing connection with Paige, and the pressure of my final project, I needed a break. But more than that, my grandmother needed me.
When I walked into her cozy home, the scent of lavender and fresh cornbread greeted me like a warm hug. She was in her usual spot in the living room, knitting a quilt and wearing her signature smile, though she looked thinner than I remembered.
“Come here, baby,” she said, her voice still strong despite her frailty.
I dropped my bags and hugged her tightly. “Missed you, Granny.”
For the next few days, I tried to clear my mind. I helped around the house, took long walks through the fields behind Granny’s home, and even stayed off my phone. But no matter what I did, my thoughts kept drifting back to Paige.
Paige’s POV
I knew something was wrong the moment I walked into practice and didn’t see Y/N behind her camera. She always arrived early, her tripod already set up and ready to go.
“Where’s Y/N?” I asked KK as we stretched.
“She went home to Georgia for the week,” KK said, shooting me a look. “Coach told me her grandma’s sick, but I think she also needed a break from all the drama.”
That explanation didn’t sit right with me.
After practice, I went straight to Coach Geno’s office. “Can I talk to you?”
He leaned back in his chair, studying me. “What’s on your mind, Bueckers?”
“It’s about Y/N,” I admitted. “I think I need to check on her. I know my knee’s almost 100%, so maybe I could use this time to—”
He held up a hand, cutting me off. “I was going to suggest the same thing. Take the week. Rest your knee. And while you’re at it, make sure Y/N doesn’t quit on me.”
Two days later, I was on a plane to Georgia. The moment I landed, I reached out to her mom, who sounded delighted to hear from me.
“She’s been so down lately,” her mom said. “Maybe you can cheer her up. Come on over.”
The house was just as Y/N had described—modest, warm, and filled with love. Her mom greeted me with a hug, and her grandmother waved from her spot on the couch.
“She’s out back,” her mom said. “Go on, now.”
I found her sitting on the porch steps, staring out at the open field as the sun dipped below the horizon. She didn’t notice me at first, so I softly cleared my throat.
Her head whipped around, her eyes wide. “Paige? What are you doing here?”
“I heard you needed a break,” I said, sitting down beside her. “Thought I could help.”
Y/N’s POV
For hours, we talked about everything—our favorite childhood memories, the stress of college, and the whirlwind of the past month. Paige opened up about the pressure she felt as a super senior, the expectations that came with being Paige Bueckers.
“I didn’t mean to make things harder for you,” she said softly, her gaze fixed on the stars above.
“You didn’t,” I replied, resting my head on her shoulder. “If anything, you’ve made it easier.”
We stayed like that until the first rays of sunlight broke over the horizon.
Later that afternoon, while I was out running errands with my mom, Granny and Paige sat on the back porch swing.
Paige’s POV
Granny handed me a glass of sweet tea, her sharp eyes studying me over the rim of her own glass.
“You like my granddaughter, don’t you?” she asked, her tone as casual as if she were asking about the weather.
I nearly choked on my tea. “I—I do,” I admitted. “But it’s not just about liking her. I respect her. She’s... special.”
“She is,” Granny agreed, her expression softening. “But she’s also stubborn. Gets it from me.”
I chuckled. “I’ve noticed.”
Granny leaned forward, her voice dropping slightly. “If you care about her, Paige, don’t let her run from this. From you. She’s been through a lot, but I see the way she lights up when she talks about you.”
I nodded, her words settling deep in my chest. “I won’t let her run.”
Granny patted my hand. “Good. Now, go on and help me bring in the laundry before Y/N gets back. She’ll fuss if she sees us out here working.”
That evening, as we sat around the dinner table, I felt something shift between us. Y/N’s walls were starting to come down, and for the first time, I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
