UHMMM. how would u describe ur taste in music?
Oooh, thank you for the great asks as always dude!
While I may come off as another redundant music enthusiast that begs to be "different" I'd say I would listen to anything. Honestly. Sure, sometimes I wouldn't like it but that doesn't mean I won't give it a try.
I come from a family that's big into music. They play instruments and sing. For me, I used to be really into bossa nova, jazz, and classical, but now I only listen to those when I'm studying or doing work. I had a hard-bass and jumpstyle phase when I was younger because I was really into heavy upbeat music when I was young, but I got less interested because I found some beats to be redundant. I still like some songs though.
During middleschool, I was (and still am) a big fan of rock, industrial metal, and nu-metal. Maybe was the biggest Deftones, Loathe, Green Day, and Hoobastank fanboy ever. I wanted to die when they started getting commercialized and one-dimensional because of tiktok. They don't know them like I do for real.
By sophomore to junior year, I also got into hip-hop/rap, more on the lyrical aspect and the flow rather than the beats. I had a big BROCKHAMPTON and OPIUM phase, but I still listen sometimes. Recently, I've been listening to artists like Lancey Foux. Even tried getting into draingang, but honestly not something I'd fully get into. However hallelujah, I wasn't a victim of good beats + shit flow. Though shamefully, around this time I also got into drill rap. That was really tough and tragic.
I also learned to appreciate and listen to genres like folk music, visual-kei, slowdive, and math-rock because the people I'm close to like the genres. However, the genre that always stuck to me is r&b because I grew up with it. Currently, my favorite genres are techno, psychedelic trance, indie folk, r&b, and arabic pop. Alex G, I also like that guy's music a lot, maybe because I'm him and he's me.
Feel free to recommend me any songs! I'll listen to anything.

40 and 44 ^_^
40. This will sound very funny but if I could be anything, I wouldn't want to be a person but a bird. I've always been fascinated with the idea of flying, it's like a childlike curiousity. I even wanted to be a superhero once just because most of them knew how to fly. I want to able to do so because it feels very liberating, both symbolically and literally. I could do a lot of things; migrate here and there, feel the cold winds while soaring through clouds, watch people from above, and maybe overcome my fear of heights. If I was a bird, I'd like to be a Kingfisher, which is my favorite. Instead of heading home overworked and miserable, I'd head to my burrow at the side of a cliff and hopefully wait until the next day comes. very silly
44. Did you know that there are different types of effects on speech brought by stroke? Dysarthria is when someone has slurred speech while Asphasia is having trouble communicating linguisticly (ex: one may say the word orange when they meant to describe another completely different thing like a bag). The two of these are affected by different parts of the brain and completely different. I got this fun fact from my older brother, who studies physical therapy
