“Hoomietaurs”. Open species. Four human legs, nullness and monorump mandatory, absolutely no more detailed than this otherwise it gets creepy (not like it already isn't, but eh)

Seeing all the ship dynamics memes pop up again and all I can think of is how much I enjoy plain, generic, blank-canvas characters. So here's some hoomies in what is probably the only dynamic I can get my tired depressed brain to respond to.

A bit more of a sketches for Teh Original Story (what is drafts? what is outlines? I am here to have a bunch of hardly related characters and notes about world) - Khess, Drakkan Lord. More about his biography is under the cut.

He is from northern drakkan and from northern mountains. Northern drakkan are known as a mostly fire mages, what allows them to withstand the cold and also as a great archers. Khess was more or less neither. Not really interested in magic and more keen to sword-wielding then to archery. Also really... adventurous sort.  

So after some time he just went to seek some adventures for his scaly butt. At first he went to the mountain monasteries of now gone Italdari clan (hoomies with superpowers, i think I have written about them somewhere in the blog), then went further to the north into the taiga forests. 

Send some time living there and then decided to explore the shores where he met a ship of Wave Tamers, also hoomies with superpowers, but living near the Uluthana Arctic, in the Frozen Wasteland (not the best translation for the name of the place, but I can't think of better for now) and with some viking fleur. Vikings with a ties to elementals, basically.

The thing is Wave Tamers and drakkan are neutral to each other at best because of some things in the past, but Khess made it take a place on a ship, after a duel with a captain. So the deal was that they will take him on their trade travel to the deep south, to the Far Away Shores and he will act as a defender from the sea creatures and translator\diplomat if they will met other drakkan.

It took some time, but they arrived to the Far Away Shores, human colony at the deep, deep south. The south-est point of the world actually. Khess there left the ship and stayed at the Shores for some time, exploring and just having fun. Shores are... marvelous place, even if weird and uncanny. Always coated in fog so thick that sometime you can see the fingers on your own outstretched arm if you don't have a magic lantern. And with all sorts of strange things living in the fog too. Also said fog drains color and can give you sum mutations, but this is a story for another time. 

Anyway, after some time Khess decided to leave, when his scales started to turn grey and with a caravan left to arrive after some time at the human cities at the not so deep south and  from where he could easily go back to drakkan lands. However they got attacked by the wyrm, winged serpent, while they were travelling  and Khess was the one to fight it away, but he got bitten and forced to cut off his own hand, because of the wyrm poison. This is how he lost his hand.

After he returned to the drakkan lands he soon ended at the court of the Drakkan Empress, who at this point was collecting lands under her rule. And this is where Khess remains to this day, but now as a Lord Khess. Occupied at the military sphere and the "northern government", under the Lady of the North.
