OMG I TOTALLY FORGOT TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT MY OCS??? HOOHOHOHO MY GOD

My OCs of the year were probably Robin (Robyn? I'm still not sure which way I wanna spell it) and Lucy which is one group

And then the other group of the year would be Natasha, Wesley, and Elle

So!! Small infodump time!!!

BASICALLY Lucy is a haunted doll who Robin found like,, on the side of the road lmao, and since there was recently a murder in town, and haunted dolls and murder seem to go hand in hand, Robin pretty logically assumes this weird doll killed someone-- which she didn't, and Lucy was ADAMANTLY defending herself on this. Like, what the hell, I just got here, I don't even know HOW I got here, and now I'm being framed for murder?? Girl i just woke up. No thanks. But Robin is like "hmm I don't trust like that" and said "okay, here's the deal. You solve this murder WITH me, that way if it turns out it was you, I can turn you in," and Lucy has literally nothing better to do, so she agrees. The entire middle part of the story is missing but long story short, the solve the mystery, Lucy says "aight I guess I'll go die now!!" and Robin LOSES IT and is like no way in hell I'm going to just let you die, wtf?? So she convinces Lucy to stay and they just sorta?? Become roommates?? And from then on it becomes the most teeth rottingly adorable story ever like since Lucy's never really been taken care of during her Before She Was A Haunted Doll life (I won't go into detail because it's INCREDIBLY angsty and also potentially triggering) but since Robin is the dictionary definition of a lovebug she's like "CAN I BRUSH YOUR HAIR IT LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVEN'T BRUSHED IT IN A WHILE, I KNOW YOU DON'T ALWAYS HAVE THE MOTIVATION TO, I CAN WASH IT TOO IF YOU WANT YOU CAN READ ON MY PHONE WHILE I DO IT SO IT'S BASICALLY JUST TIME TO CHILL" and yes that exact thing actually did happen I'm not just makin that up on the spot lmao

AND I know y'all like robots so high-key I'm excited to talk about my other three babies SO BASICALLY Natasha is like,,, some highschool girl, leader of the robotics club, working on a project but has no parts. And instead of just ,, asking, like a normal person, she decides "hey since I'm too awkward to ask I'll just go to the ABANDONED THEME PARK downtown yes what a good and reasonable idea" like look as much as I love her that was not the smartest decision,,, but anyways. She goes to this park planning to pull a sneaky and take some stuff from some of the old animatronics, but runs into a small problem. By "small problem" I mean Elle, the freaky animatronic mascot of one of the rides, who just so happens to be sentient and semi-functional. She didn't actually have a name at that time (Wesley gave it to her later but SHH SPOILERS) but ANYWAYS Elle asks her what she's doing, and Natasha is,,, scared, yes, but mostly just confused, because she can't tell where the voice is coming from.

until she hears the terrifying screeching noise of rusted robotics TRYING TO MOVE TOWARDS HER

And after a painfully long and awkward conversation going over that yes, the robot is talking, this is real, Natasha eventually decides that it would be COOL AS FUCK if she just made fixing this animatronic her project for her club and Elle is like "yeah sure you can do whatever" because hey it's not like she's seen in signs of life on the past decade, she might as well let something interesting happen for once. And since there's literally no way she would be able to NOT tell someone about this, Natasha frags her best friend, Wesley, to see Elle the next day, and he's kind of terrified by her at first. Once they work out that she's nowhere near dangerous since she's so utterly broken, he mostly chills out, and after a while, you kind of just.. get used to being friends with an animatronic endoskeleton.

I don't really know where that story is going tbh I just like the concept of it also I think y'all might also appreciate the fact that Wesley is canonically a bisexual icon who wore a dress he stole from Natasha to homecoming
