My health, spiritual, mental & physical health is the number one most important thing to me in my life! It used to be last... Turns out, that we cant help anyone else if We’re dead. Spiritually, physically or mentally dead & I was just that for far too many years. It’s been 4 years now since I started taking my health back, taking my power back, taking my healing back. There have been walls that I had to bust through, tears I had to cry, pain I had to release & FORGIVENESS I needed to give. To a lot of folks... mostly me. Forgiveness is MY freedom. It is not for anyone else but me. The biggest forgiveness I owed myself was NOT how many times I let myself down, how many times I choose wrong, how many times I quit & had to start over again. It was for all the abuse & critical judgements I gave myself. In the mirror, in crowds, in pictures, in family moments, in intimate moments. In the bed at night crying myself to sleep, replaying stories & lies that i told myself so much that I believed them. You’re fat, you’re ugly, you’re unlovable. Those Lies kept me dead for far too long & were shackles & chains to my soul. If I couldn’t love me, how could anyone else? How could God? But, you know what? God made me. He picked out my eye color, my skin color, He created this body to carry around the very special soul that He tore from His own just for me. He also thought I was worth loving so much that He sent His one & ONLY son to die just for me. So who am I to say that I’m not worthy? Who am I to call God a liar, to waste the sacrifice of Jesus, by wasting this Life that He gave me, of freedom, ultimate love, & sacrifice by His Love, By His death. He did that for me. So how can I return such a favor? Such a gift? 1. By not insulting or judging anything He created. Not myself, not others. 2. By loving myself so freaking hard that I can RECEIVE His love through me & overflow it into others. 3.
