1. monsters inc. / monsters university

i honestly quote both movies so much it’s insane. i carry a card carrier/wallet of randall that i got from disneyland, i have a mike wazowski plush (my sister has sully), my phone’s name is celia so whenever i see it i always go like, sushi?? you think this is about sushi????? it’s my favourite pixar film to date. i just love it ?? godd dont @ me

2. the shape of water

it’s very beautiful and i loooove the soundtrack. the story is SO well crafted and intricate--as expected from guillermo-- and honestly?? the fact that she fucked the monster? we respect that.

3. the handmaiden

if you haven’t seen the handmaiden i don’t even know what you’re doing like my god, peak cinema. this movie is everything and i don’t even want to go on about it you just need to watch it smh

4. coraline

the beldam is actually one of my favorite characters/character design. i looove how creepy the movie is, i love the whole aesthetic of it as well as the animation. corpse bride was my second choice tbh but i love coraline because of the other mother. i think i was also obsessed with the idea of having buttons as eyes at one point ??? also idk i just like seeing the little ghost children too LOL

5. pan’s labyrinth 

i just love guillermo’s movies tbh and i love fairy tales and i love dark fairy tales so this movie hits all of my boxes

6. tangled / addam’s family values  

truth to be told, tangled became one of my favorite movies after i did that jaime/brienne AU after it. i WILL specifically watch the whole movie to get to that part where they’re singing i see the light and they go like, ‘and it’s warm and real and bright’ their harmonizing SO good and flynn especially bc imo his singing before was ok but THAT PART specifically IS BEAUTIFUL and i love it SO MUCH. addam’s family values--or the addam’s family as a whole is just so campy and fun, but family values specifically because i ADORE debbie jellinsky. i love her, she’s an icon we will forever stan  

7. the little mermaid
