𝗔 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗔𝗡𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 . . .

At times, I hesitate to post the things that GOD deals with and speaks to me about because . . . sigh . . . how do I say this?

Well, simply put, the heart of some people for GOD has been turned to religion, worldly pleasure, trends, and carnal lust. . . 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗢𝗗 that has the ability to transform their lives for the better.

𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒, 𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐊, 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇, 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍, & 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃. ==> It's not my assignment to "make" people hear and obey, I am called to deliver the message and assist those who will receive it.

Today the LORD dealt with me about the SPIRIT OF PROFANITY that has so overtaken and entwined the people of GOD, and society as a whole.

==> 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗔𝗡𝗘 is defined as treating that which is sacred with contempt, lack of respect, commonness, and abuse. It is to debase by a wrong, unworthy, or vulgar use.

To be 𝗦𝗔𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗗 is to be set aside and devoted exclusively to a single purpose or person; it also means - 𝒄𝙤𝒏𝙣𝒆𝙘𝒕𝙚𝒅 𝒕𝙤 𝙂𝑶𝘿.

This profane spirit shows up in how we treat and respect ourselves, others, nature, authority figures, and even certain places.

Our culture is literally rife with 𝗪𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡, (made by GOD), calling themselves "𝘣𝑖𝘵𝑐𝘩𝑒𝘴." I've even seen and heard Christian women and men do it. They allow their friends, family, other women, and men to address them in that way . . . 𝙞𝒕'𝒔 𝒕𝙧𝒆𝙣𝒅𝙮, 𝒊𝙩'𝙨 𝙩𝒉𝙚 𝙘𝒖𝙡𝒕𝙪𝒓𝙚, 𝒂𝙣𝒅 𝒊𝙩'𝙨 𝙋𝑹𝙊𝑭𝘼𝑵𝙀.

People show up to the house of GOD, the courthouse, places of business, work, and family / children friendly functions looking like nearly naked sex workers, like they just rolled out of bed, unwashed, unkempt, and uncouth, because 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠 𝗔𝗡𝗬𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 . . . 𝑛𝘰𝑡 𝑒𝘷𝑒𝘯 𝘵ℎ𝘦𝑚𝘴𝑒𝘭𝑣𝘦𝑠.

Songs, movies, and everyday dialogue are so profanity laced that it's painful, offensive, and toxic to listen to. It seems that every three words requires the insertion of a compound explicative.

This profane spirit in the hearts and mouths of people undermines the 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆, which is open, honest, in-depth communication. The enemy is using verbal mastication and assault to cause people to dismantle TRUST which is an outcome of intimacy.

==>𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲.

I see this 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 at work in EVERY area of society and wonder how GOD'S people have given themselves over so easily, especially when their "𝗛𝗘𝗘𝗟" can 𝒄𝙧𝒖𝙨𝒉 the serpent's head. ~Selah

History tells us of kings who erected magnificent towers, castles and other monuments that display their glory. Even the not-so-powerful dream of having their stories live on long after they have passed away. As humans, it is in our nature to want to leave legacies of our own. This is why we aspire to be the best in our fields, hoping that we will leave an impression so great that even after our deaths we will still be remembered by many. Perhaps this desire is driven by our longing for eternity, something that our earthly bodies can never have.

In the words of Sheridan Voysey, "We can seek our own glory rather than God's, but by seeking to be known by future generations we can miss serving our own."

Our life on this world may be fleeting but this does not hinder us from serving God and advancing His kingdom. No amount of toil can ever result in glory that is higher than God's. Instead of wasting away our lives in pursuit of something superficial and ephemeral, let us focus our eyes on God and stand in His grace.

Serving our generation is a privilege that is granted to the followers of Christ. It can get overwhelming at times but we are assured that God is with us in every step of the way, equipping us with all that we would need to carry out the great commission.

IT IS HARD TO BE HUMBLE! Humility is important for several reasons. The primary reason is that God commands it! Being humble involves a proper perspective of ourselves. It is much better to wait on the Lord, versus exalting ourselves. Regardless of the matter, and on His timing. Then it is for us to exhaust ourselves, and end up being humbled by God. “Honor your father…” we didn’t get the option to choose our parents, their faults seem grand when we are little, but sometimes we don’t know the back story. It’s best to honor our earthly parents because it honors God almighty. We leave the results to God for their choices. Is my father perfect? No, but then again what father is.
