I'm behind on currently airing shows. I'm currently watching Tree with Deep Roots, Crash Course in Romance, & My School President. I've paused Gap the Series and and Never Let Me Go before the halfway mark just because I was watching too many series. I will pick them back up after I finish the ones I'm on now. I really want to watch The Warp Effect and Our Blooming Youth. AND of the western media variety, I am watching Star Trek Strange New Worlds, Ghosts, and I really, really do plan to watch Yellowjackets.

@dapperwerewolf I love this slow burn we were treated to, though there’s no resolution at the end (I would’ve been happy with some hint that they’re together - maybe not now - but sometime in the future)

He’s smitten from the go, and I love how she slowly warms up to him (pun intended). How she goes from being completely indifferent to rushing to that gas explosion site in panic because she cares for him.

I love how they’re there for each other. And I love how it’s repeatedly mentioned by more than one character that there are people around her who love her (which obviously includes him). I was especially moved by that confession from the other side of the door, and the scene after her mother’s exorcism where he comforts her ❤️❤️ Fantastic acting from both of them.

He’s her special medium. He’s her hot pack. He’s her shoulder to cry on… 🥰🥰🥰

And… while she doesn’t show it, she has also been slowly been falling for him, hasn’t she?

Somewhere I think subconsciously, she wants him to call her noona - why else would it pop up in her egg ghost hallucination?

I love that, while he is all formal throughout, when he gets emotional about her, he simply drops the honorifics and calls her by her name. Amazing piece of direction, that. That shows that while he respects their professional distance, he is open to more ❤️❤️

As for Yong-hwa, he is as old as Kim Beom. He has warm eyes, too, and a charming smile. He’s a singer too. Do I have a pattern emerging here?

Jang Na-ra looks gorgeous - ethereal in that pride and prejudice scene. And that little twirl they did on the stage - I swooned!

I should check out more of these two.

As for the FL being older than ML, I loved Still, marry me where Kim Beom’s character is 24 and the FL is 34. They fall in love and despite society disapproving of the age gap, he still goes on to pursue her. Loved the chemistry in that one!
