I finished my cowl on the plane from Seoul to Japan but didn't weave in the ends until just now. I should really get some scissors because it's not perfect. @spontaneoustomato bought me this yarn 5 years ago. I've knit several items with it, but I would frog most projects because no pattern was ever good enough for this yarn. I had just over 300 yards of it left that was going to waste because I loved it too much. I figured a #honeycowl would be good enough. I hereby entitle this photo #festivefaffing. I've no idea if that's even a proper hashtag but it definitely feels as though it ought to be. Today has been lost to hours of driving, sitting in traffic jams and stress but I'm pleased that just for a few minutes I got to play with my knitting this morning. I think it was the fog but the wife thinks my camera lens was dirty. I wanted to show off my freshly knit honey cowl in @knit_picks dk gloss in masala. I chose this color because it reminded me of the color of many of the buildings in Gamla Stan (one of the places we visited on our belated honeymoon). I've never knit with a merino and silk blend and it is divine. #knittersofinstagram #knitting #honeycowl
