I’ve given it a rest cause it’s not worth my time but I initially called out megthemewlingquim last night and dhsjsjsks I knew she was gonna do this but she really made a post bout how she was labeled as a racist and then said poc were trying to make it a general issue about police killings but that it didn’t haven’t anything to do with what happened to ma’khia and I...I’m just baffled that she and I used to talk a bit and she really hoped I would still be friends with her after she talked about her political beliefs and I was like oh wow that’s uncomfortable for me to interact with you at all...anyways racists can choke

but yeah agreed. literally agree with everything you said. it’s so weird to watch white people bend over backwards to explain police violence when we’re ever so rarely at the end of it, and it’s so fucking easy for us to step aside and lift voices of color (esp Black ones!!!) and yet here we are. again. trying to educate a white person
