every time i open the journal i think about how in cp77 the journal entries are written by jackie till he's gone, then taken over by johnny.

now the same wouldn't make sense with dav because either the switch would be too early to have any impact, or too late to matter, but rather than as a gameplay feature, i'm pondering about how interesting their entries would be because the two pairs have a similar relationship with the protagonist + varric's storytelling is a big aspect, even now, and his views certainly clash a lot with solas's.
