hi i want to start listening to kpop but i don't know where to start?? idk if this makes sense but do you have any recommendations?

i totally get you there’s so many groups out there! idk if u would be into girl groups or guy groups more (y not love both) but here’s some of my fav groups and songs to start you off!

seventeen: very nice | boom boom | adore u | mansaetheres so many of them but they are so cute and stan worthy and have so many jams. they’re the first group i really got into

mamamoo: decalcomanie!! | yes i am | piano man | um oh ah yehi fuckin love mamamoo, i would give my left arm to see them live. they’re so talented (just listen to this) and i think they are the most unique girl group out there. their songs are amazing but they’re also hilarious off stage. i highly recommend checking out vids on YT of them fooling around for a good laugh. also they act really gay just look up moonsun and i love them

bts: spring day | blood sweat & tears | 2! 3! | dopethey’re probs like the most popular kpop group around. all their songs and concepts are amazing. and they won a billboard award this year!?!?! how cool is that! also they make lots of short films for teasers which is so cool check out my fav one for their wings album

nct: limitless | the 7th sense | cherry bombthey’re super cool and have a great sound. I don’t listen to them as much as svt or mamamoo but they’re really good and worth checking out

these are like the main 4 groups that i listen to and they have different styles. But some others that are worth mentioning are blackpink, pentagon, exo, winner, & kard (which is one of the few co-ed groups). 

but basically try some of these songs and see which of these styles you like the best. also if you look up kpop on spotify you will find tons of new stuff! hope you like these also listen to mamamoo i love them
