i wanna talk about how fitzjames has ZERO game (affectionate). none. he tanks every single convo he has with crozier the first half of the season. and i know crozier doesn't make himself approachable, but think about how many times fitzjames probably pissed him off in the first year of the expedition that we didn't see. fitzjames is only popular because he practices his stories and flattery in the mirror for fancy dinners, and crozier has no time for performing. ross could barely get him to stand for applause at the theater. so he doesn't give fitzjames the time of day until he cuts the shit
