lily  felt  something  in  the  pit  of  her  stomach,  almost  like  fear,  whenever  she  saw  jennifer.  it  wasn’t that  she  was  scared  of  the  girl  herself,  but  more  that  she  radiated  something  that  seemed  like  she  should  be  feared.  she  seemed  like  the  sort  of  girl  who  could  easily  destroy  lily’s  whole  world  if  she  wished,  and  there  was  something  incredibly . . .  powerful  about  her  in  that  sense.
