just wrote a plot outline for one of the episodes of the aubrey webseries i want to make and realized it's basically like one of those "trans seinfeld" posts that pop up every once in a while
#honestly the entire aubrey webseries kind of gives off ''trans seinfeld'' vibes but especially the episode i just outlined#(it's called ''the stranger'' in case i end up sharing the synopsis and you're curious which one it is)#also i love this episode bc it's based on a hypothetical someone once said to me#when they were asking lowkey invasive questions about my sexuality. and i was just like#''hold on how the fuck would someone get themselves into that situation'' so of course aubrey got zirself into that situation#i love how a lot of the humor in this aubrey webseries is very observational everyday humor-in-the-mundane type stuff#but the world itself is also completely insane. like out of aubrey's 3 ''love interests''#one turns into a cardboard cutout sometimes to conserve energy#one falls in love with their doppelganger who aubrey was also in a love triangle with#and one has benjamin button syndrome and is aging backwards#on one hand this juxtaposition is just bc it's my sense of humor. like i love pairing absurdism with a ''relatable'' framing#but also i think it works on a deeper level. like pointing out how ridiculous it is that aubrey's in a world with this much strangeness#and yet people are still gonna act like the weirdest thing about zir is zir pronouns#like ma'am this bitch can literally channel the ghost of sigmund freud???
