Got some (sorta) unusual snacks..
So uh. Good news (?) Although I still need to deal with documents to be hired officially, I've been working for a few days and already got some "paycheck". And just so happened that I learned of a store in my area that sells snacks not normally accessible in my city anywhere, and wanted to try something
There are Thai regional variants of Lay's - with truffle and nori leaves flavors! That store had QUITE a variety of Thai regional flavors, some just seemed soooo curious.. and salesman even allowed me to try their shrimp variant. I am also eating nori ones as I type this and dear god, the flavors are SO saturated! I feel I'm gonna frequient that store later when I have more budget because I want to try more..
Fun fact - tropical Skittles are not really a thing here, you can't find them normally (at least not in my city, dunno about supermarkets closer to Moscow or whatever), so I am going to try this flavor for the first time. Same with Crunchy Cheetos - they are not a thing in Russia, we only have 'puffy' variant with progressively lame flavors that isn't even original recipe, nor it is popular.
And yeah, tiny Japanese variations of KitKat (matcha, melon, strawberry cake and mochi) and... uh... some sort of hot chocolate substance that the salesguy warned me to not put into a too hot water or else marshmellows will melt.
Now that I am thinking about it, I want to actually pay attention whether we have regional variants of the snacks that would not be found in other countries, or at the very least would not be the same. ....though we also did have corn flavored Cheetos and did want to make potato flavored Lay's, so I am not very positive....
