I just remembered that the first ever genuine attempt from me to get into DC was trying to watch Teen Titans Go

#my dc posting#dc#i never got into superheroes as a kid bc- get this; i thought they were too childish#like genuinely i remember telling my mom i didnt care abt superman bc he was for kids. i was maybe 8-9.#honestly my knowledge about anything relating to superheroes (aside from having BNHA be my main fandom for years)#was in the negatives until the dpxdc crossover made me cross fully onto the Dark C(s)ide#actually on the topic of BNHA; first superhero media i ever got into and it raised my standards for superhero costumes WAYYYY too high#dc kinda sucks at it im ngl#ppl show me a new costume and talk abt how good it is and im like. am i supposed to be excited about Generic Body Armour With Cape???#shimura fucking nana has a better costume than that!!! fucking tokoyami's Black Cloak intrigues me more than whatever new look robin's got!
