#i don’t take issue with vegans/vegetarians bc its your own life and you get to make the choice#but hell when you start to care about the welfare of animals so much#that you dont think about your vegan alternatives and whether or not they are sustainable or healthy or you know harm other people#its like are you really being as pure as you think you are?#are you being conscious of folks who cannot go vegetarian or vegan?#are you being conscious of folks who are allegric to plant alternatives?#honestly mother nature and the evironment doesnt give a flying fuck about morality#it doesnt care about what’s cruel or unusual its just how nature functions#you cant put human morality onto a system like that bc thats not how that works#sorry to disappoint but mother nature wants you whacked and surviving is a middle finger to that#we’re all gonna die one day and humans are on a big ole track to wrecking ourselves#and when we’re gone nature is gonna do what is does best and move the fuck on#but thats not to say we cant have better practices in animal processing industry#but blame capitalism not the fact that joan eats a steak every two weeks or some shit#also as a child of a corn fed farm kid dont talk bullshit about farming until you understand it#dont get me started on the bees#owen talks#sorry this topic is just all over the place for me
