Re-visiting this post I made. I was completely convinced that this would be a thing in the game. Why else would the last line of a short story preparing us for an upcoming game contain a very specific number of locations. That's not how anyone would end a story, if not for a reason. If I had to guess - it's a scrapped idea. I can see why it would be scrapped - this would have been a huge commitment. Now that I have played DATV and know what it was that they wanted to cover in the story, there definitely was no room for a monster hunt involving 11 separate deep roads locations. Still, I mourn the loss of the Ghilly focused game I craved. Epler can you just write 11 more of these disgusting stories real quick?
PS: us lore enthusiasts really were getting a lot out of this particular story. Just have a look at this post, for example! http://www.dumpeddrunkanddalish.com/2020/05/tevinter-nights-analysis-horror-of.html
Spoiler? John Epler, my dude, you wrote a whole ass story about how they've been going for a little swim in Ghilan'nain's mutation pools. You've even told us the exact number of monster factories we're presumably gonna have to find in Veilguard. The end of that story reads like a to do list. (Not complaining, can't wait to get all up in that briney apocalypse.)
