I've read a lot of great meta on here about Blitz's pov around the roleplay thing and his need for processing time following that, which he did not get. And I love Blitz to death, he's tied with Stolas as my favorite character and honestly I relate a lot to him, so it's been a huge relief that I've seen so many posts that are fair and sympathetic to him and everything he did, including his anger at the end there. He's an incredibly nuanced character who has been deeply traumatized, and all of his actions in The Full Moon make perfect sense when you put his specific traumas and trust issues together with his avoidance of anything that might make their relationship "complicated", up to and including his own feelings and the mere idea that maybe all the ways he's noticed Stolas showing that he's interested in more than just sex means that Stolas is interested in more than just sex.
That being said, I don't agree with the argument that Stolas was in the wrong for not giving Blitz time to process his confession before walking away. Sure, maybe that's not the ideal response speaking as an outsider looking in, but of course he didn't stick around, practically no one would've. Even without all the evidence he had that Blitz might reject him, even without his depression and fears that he's a monster, it is soul crushing to confess something important that leaves you vulnerable, and have it be (seemingly) mocked by a person whose opinion matters a lot to you.
And I get why Blitz did it, I'm not trying to put the blame on him or anything; it was very clearly a defense mechanism influenced largely by his self-esteem issues and inability to believe people could love him (the light literally leaves his eyes when the doubt creeps in and that fucking kills me). But there's hardly anyone who wouldn't cut and run after that. If Blitz had asked for time, demanded Stolas explain, or even just ran away himself, Stolas very likely would have gladly given him the time he needed to process. Stolas' part of the duet shows that he was expecting rejection even if he forced himself to believe there was hope he might have a positive reaction, so Blitz saying "wait what? Hold on, are you serious?" to start with wouldn't have been a bad thing to Stolas, because at least it's not a flat out no. But by the time he does get around to asking that, it's too late. Because we've seen that Stolas has had his feelings mocked before by Stella, his decades-long abuser, so it must have cut even deeper for Blitz to seemingly make fun of him when he poured his heart out to him.
Almost no one likes to cry in front of other people, because it feels awful and humiliating, and even less people would feel okay doing it in front of someone who just hurt them. Stolas very politely excused himself, even thanked Blitz, and left to probably go cry his guts out. But Blitz followed him. He understandably wanted to talk about things, but the fact is he just really hurt Stolas. It's completely fair for Stolas to not want to talk to him right then after his feelings were just trampled over, because he needed space even if Blitz needed to talk. Blitz didn't mean any harm by his roleplay bit, because he didn't believe Stolas was serious, but his actions were still hurtful. Blitz had every right to ask Stolas to stop and talk things through with him, and his abandonment trauma was already in full affect by that point, but Stolas also had every right to walk away when his own abuse trauma had just been triggered hard.
The whole situation was, start to finish, one big horrible clashing of trauma responses, which only got worse in the ballroom. So I'm not saying that Blitz was "in the wrong" here either, it certainly wasn't malicious, and moreover he didn't even know Stolas could be hurt emotionally. But holy hell, pretty much any reaction would have been better than (accidentally) making a mockery of Stolas' feelings after his confession. There's probably not a person alive who would take that well if it came from someone they loved. It probably would have hurt Stolas less if Blitz had actually stabbed him with a holy knife, given the way Stella had abused him in the past. It was never about Stolas expecting Blitz to reciprocate his feelings right away, it was about how viscerally awful it feels to put your heart on the line and have your feelings be made fun of, accidental or not.
They both fucked up in this situation, there's no denying that. Stolas was clearly using a script to power through a nerve-wracking interaction, but it was poorly worded at first and he tripped over several of Blitz's trauma landmines as a result, accidentally making him panic. But walking away when he did and later kicking Blitz out were not him fucking up. He definitely could have said something like, "I don't want to talk right now, you really hurt me and I'm very upset. Please come back later and we can talk then" or something in the hall instead of what he actually said which was easily misconstrued, to make Blitz know why he was leaving, but not many people would think to do that when they're that upset, they just want to get away from whoever hurt them.
So no, even though it ended with both of them in tears and even more hurt on both sides, I don't think it was wrong of Stolas to walk away when he did, especially because he did try to explain himself as Blitz followed him (he just wasn't like, great with his wording. Understandable really, most people aren't super articulate when they're deeply upset). And probably it was even a good thing he did, in the end, because it finally clued Stolas into the fact that how he's been treating imps needs to change. I dunno, it's just something I haven't seen talked about yet, and thought it was worth saying.

any more thoughts on paper mario so far?
I LOVED it honestly and the only reason I'm not playing TTYD is because I'm waiting for my new pc to get fixed cus my laptop is 🥔
Not as much as I did at the start, unfortunately. I've done a few more posts in different formats, but after the prologue and chapter one it's been a game and the humors been there but not quite as funny as that first chunk for me. Like, the attention to detail is absolutely INSANE throughout the whole game so far (the hidden spots, the funny npc dialogue, the dizzy eye animation, the text effects when people are speaking to show emotion and emphasis, etc), and some of the clues and stuff have been really well done where it guides you, sometimes by even straight up telling you what to do, but only if you like talk and interact with everyone and it sounds like gossip. I love how much world building they put into it, and like all of your companions get letters, so like Kooper is going to join Kolorado in an archeology adventure after helping mario, bombette is going to help cut the ribbon for a new train station since she cleared the tracks of the toad town one, they all have really cool stories for AFTER the game, which I really love and appreciate since I don't remember that from TTYD.
But yeah PM 64 has had solid characters and great world building and I am baffled at how complex and absolutely massive it feels to me for its time (I mainly played the pokemon stadium [1 & 2] mini games and kirby 64 shards and the OG ssb for comparison/context, and like kirby felt big but the open world of mario and the dynamic background where things change each chapter and characters reacting differently based off what degree of fighter you are make it feel massive) (also the timing of enemies for blocking and command attacks feels like each one would need its own code for, and there have been a lot of enemies and I'm only on chapter 3!)
It's been very interesting playing PM 64 after TTYD, since TTYD had a LOT of polish which, I hadn't realized, made it incredible. And like I watched a video or read an article ages ago about other games like the first two paper mario games and the mario and luigi series (both series, best games) and it was talking about how TTYD took a LOT of inspiration from PM 64, almost to the extent of copy+pasting, like "you did a train mystery in the first game and so let's do another train mystery" and "you get a smart Goomba, a small town koopa, a bomb-omb with character, and a ghost as a companion, so let's do that all again". And it's true (I haven't gotten to the train bit yet but I know it exists since there is a PENGUIN detective and we love penguins), but like all of the characters in TTYD had WAAAAAY more character and although both games' companions are charming, the added character design in TTYD was great.
Final thoughts are for both the paper mario and the mario and luigi series as a whole and their successors, both spiritually and literally.
As for the literal successors of PM and M&L, M&L has stayed true to its nature and although the stories are different and the abilities raise the stakes unnecessarily in my opinion, they still play like M&L games. PM on the other hand...
I feel like the bowser sections in TTYD directly influenced mario and luigi: browsers inside story, which was spectacular and probably the strongest in that series (partners in time will always hold a special place in my heart and I love it. Super stars was okay, the story was amazing but the fighting felt more tedious than the later games. Dreamy luigi was alright, I wasn't a fan of the new art style [that all the remakes, unfortunately, decided to continue to use] I don't think I ever beat it since it never hooked me in the same way. And I've seen NO ONE talk about that one cross over with paper mario, so I know nothing of that one.)
Paper mario and M&L are like my favorite games since I like that you still interact in battles even when it's not your turn. I hate JRPGs with a passion since I would literally rather play around in excel sheets all day (which I get paid to do) than click the same buttons over and over again without thought and then have to wait for the enemy animation when it could all just be text and skipped and be done with.
These games add the element of skill, albeit a pretty small element that can be boring and tedious and repetitive too, but it adds engagement for the entire time you are battling and battles are directly and immediately impacted by your skill, as compared to mainly "strategy" (pick the strongest move) in JRPGs. I care about getting each action command and each block in PM, my skill directly influences the outcome of the battle compared to sheer luck (there's a little luck with like status effects but that isnt the same as variable damge based on luck). If I'm playing a game I want to be engaged with it the whole time, not constantly mashing A while checking my phone since I'm spamming the same attack agaim since there is nothing else to do (glares at pokemon).
I feel like undertale was a spiritual successor to these games based on the bullet hell dodging in combat and the timing of attacks. The dodging was actually way more engaging and difficult in undertale than in PM and M&L and I think that was a large part of its success. I'm really surprised so few games have taken this approach to the rpg formula, of making the whole battle actually engaging, but there are a lot in development!
One that's out already is bug fables and if you have not checked that one out PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CHECK IT OUT! It's glorious and the best successor to TTYD I've ever seen. There's also born of bread of which I've heard mixed results on and haven't check out myself yet, and there's also a sea horse one in development still also I had checked. There's also "OTHER:her loving embrace" which takes a more similar approach to combat as undertale but instead of bullet hell dodging it's a seconds long mini platformer where you have to run around dodging and you can even counter attack and it looks like everything I've ever wanted from a game and I am INCREDIBLY excited for that one. I'd also be down for a bug fables 2.
Now, disclaimer, I haven't actually played any other paper mario games than 64 and TTYD since they have all sounded awful. Sticker star had all moves be dictated by one time use stickers so your combat move options were constantly changing and combat seemed slow and not engaging (like a usual turn based jrpg) since I think it was just the stickers gimmick the whole time? 64 had some funny paper gimmicks, and TTYD really stepped up its paper inspired mechanics, what with the mario curses (airplane, tube, boat, etc.) And like busty genie's blowing ability, and then the one paper mario for the wii (super paper mario? I'm not willing to look it up) seemed to build more upon that with being able to like turn the world sideways and stuff, which makes for a cool puzzle game but I don't know anything about the combat that I can remember- that's how unmemorable it was despite looking into it multiple times because not enough of these types of games exist. I've heard nothing of the PM x M&L crossover as I've said above, and from what I heard about origami King the story was cute but a little shallow and the combat got switched up YET A-FUCKING-GAIN. It seemed liked an interesting combat system, but it sounded like it got extra tedious really fast since I think it involved having to draw a path through enemies that surround you in a circle and again, seemed cool but it wasn't paper mario. I once played a cooperative star trek board game that seemed to have similar mechanics, and like, as a combat system I could see it being really cool, but just not good for paper mario which has refuses to go back to what made 64 and TTYD so successful and charming and wacky, since Nintendo wants M&L to be the big rpg mario line games, which like... GIVE US BOTH.
So, yeah! Thank you so much for giving me an excuse and outlet to ramble and get all my thoughts out, it may be a bit more than you bargained for but you asked for thoughts! And paper mario was vague so I couldn't tell if you meant the 64 game specifically or the whole series, so you get the whole series!
Although I have this typed out on the 23, it's nearly 11 pm and I have work in the morning and I want to go through and edit this since I am notorious for having awful spelling and skipping whole words when I'm thinking anything quickly and I want to make sure this all looks and sounds good and at least has some coherence with the order it covers topics so thou must be patient.

(I'm with you with regards to the "quite easily I like it" OP post btw! Just wanna make that clear ^^;;) I almost wonder if the gripes are like, in part people who see how the women are drawn and base All Their Opinions of the series on that. That or they got mad at the clown thing Tumblr did and just decided to hate the series for it. Or they're just a little hater, honestly anything can apply. I'm not a fan of OP, haven't seen a second of it to make a decision, but like. 5 or 6 (including you- im not just a random, im just really shy LOL) of my friends are, and the one thing keeping me off from watching it is the fact that it's one of the longest animes still going- And I almost wonder if that also has a part to play in the "lol how can u watch one piece" thing people have going on. Also, have you seen the bananawanis yet?? I don't go here but I love them.
Thanks for the message! I hope you don't mind a bit of rambling (all that I'm capable of, always).
The thing is, I think there are plenty of things to criticize about one piece. I’ve seen and had many thoughtful discussions about elements of the work that can easily be considered harmful stereotypes, as well as some well-intentioned ideas that I think were executed in a subpar and clumsy manner. Some of these are directly a result of the author being only 1 guy with 1 lived experience, some are the result of broader issues in the shonen genre.
And these discussions are great! Everyone is better off for having thought about these potentially damaging aspects deeper, and it’s incredibly important to be able to recognize that an author you respect and follow isn’t perfect and doesn’t need defending over every single thing. And at the same time, I fully respect anyone who has no interest in getting into the work because they don’t want to put up with any of the parts that are far from perfect.
Personally, what I can’t stand is the tone of condescension people are very quick to take… I do not fault anyone for not digging the show's visual style, it's not for everyone. But I don't really appreciate the implication that I'm like, stupid or misogynist or cumbrained just because I enjoy the work overall. Or even because I do enjoy Oda's art; I think he is a really talented artist, but elements of his stylization are not always my favorite, including both his general figures for both women and men. This is not even starting to mention the incredible talents of many of the individual animators who work on the one piece anime, who all put a lot of their own amazing flair into adapting the work.
On the topic of the latter thing, I've truly never understood the length being a barrier to the ability to enjoy the work. It's always really baffled me...? I don't know if it's like, people who are only interested in getting into OP specifically to interact with the fandom, but in my opinion there's no actual factor that makes you need to catch up to current as fast as possible. In my mind, having so much of a new thing is wonderful for me; I'll have a lot of great story to enjoy, I can take it at my own pace, enjoy watching a bit at a time for a long time. I guess everyone just wants to be done with something as fast as possible these days... Pretty sad... Make it last and enjoy it lots :-)
I've gone on for long enough, but basically, I couldn't care less if anyone doesn't enjoy the same thing that I enjoy a lot--that's life! I simply can't stand being treated like some sort of idiot for liking it, and I'm done basically agreeing with those kinds of people by giving them any ground. None of this is a super serious problem of course, just a pet peeve... but what is a blog for if not talking at length about my silly little pet peeves ;-)
Of course I adore the Bananawani, as well as all the other fun and silly animals of the one piece world. I hope we'll see them again one day, it's been so long... Here's one of my favorite one piece species for you, the Lapin. Love these guys.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To finish off, I'm just going to include one of my favorite recent pieces of one piece's animation. Hope everyone's havin a lovely day ^_^

2pm
You snuck up behind him as he stood at the counter whisking something in a bowl. You wrapped your arms around his middle giving him a start. "May I ask why aren't you naked?"
He turned mid embrace to face you. "Because I thought It would be weird if anyone came in and I was naked and alone in the kitchen?"
"True," you laughed. "Jinnie?"
"Yes princess?" your heart dropped, he was always so sweet.
"Can you just kiss me for a bit? I'll give you an extra 20 mins?"
"I'll kiss you for 2 hours if it's what makes you happy." His puffy lips pressed against yours, soft and sensual as his hands cupped your face. "Are you okay?"
"Uh huh, I guess I'm just craving some intimacy of a more wholesome variety."
"Well I think you're in luck because I'm a pretty wholesome guy."
"You're honestly the dream man Jin."
Your fingertips skimmed the shirt seams that ran across his broad shoulders.
"Look at you, you're handsome, talented, rich and you're so smart." You grinned remembering the last time you were together. "And you've got just the right amount of kink in you to keep things interesting."
He laughed, "I think you mean I'm boring compared to the others."
You frowned at him, "No, you're perfect."
He blushed, "Stop, you're gonna make my ego bigger than it already is."
It took a lot to fluster Jin. He was so used to being around constantly baffling behavior that he was unflappable. Seeing him blush from you compliments, if possible, made him even more endearing.
It felt good to be in his arms, he grounded you to some sort of domesticated dream that was lacking from your life.
"So what are we going to be doing?"
"Well, I'm going to make you Fettuccine Alfredo for lunch and Cannoli for dessert….apparently while naked."
"That's it? That's your fantasy?"
"It is actually."
"You’re lying, you're just saying that because you think it's what I want."
"Y/N there is literal video evidence of me on one of my first vlogs talking about how one day I can't wait to cook everyday with my wife."
He pulled out his phone, "Do you want me find it, I can show you right now."
You couldn't stop laughing, "I believe you!"
He took a swat at your bum and shook his head, "Call me a liar…"
Hanging a Do Not Disturb sign on the back of the kitchen's pocket door you slid it closed for privacy.
Turning around Jin was holding a small dishtowel over himself smiling from ear to ear.
"You know I've seen it before, and sir, there is nothing you need to hide."
"I'll show you mine if you show me yours."
"You don't have to ask me twice." slipping the straps off your shoulder the light dress fell to the floor and you kicked it to the side. "Your turn."
He gave the towel a snap and threw it with your dress.
"Remind me not to dry the dishes with that later."
Waiting for the pasta to boil you mixed the Cannoli filling while he worked on the shells. "Stand back I'm going to put them in the oil."
Dropping them in one by one the grease splashed out of the pot. "It didn't get me!" He cheered.
"Maybe we should send an audition tape to MasterChef," you happily kissed him.
No sooner than the words left your mouth the deep fried pastry began bubbling and splattering. Trying to turn down the temperature he reached over the pot, jumping and flinching with each pop of grease.
"Oh no, Jin I'm so sorry. This was such a shit idea." He pretended to cry while you kissed the little red burn marks over his chest.
"There's some lower," he whined.
"My poor baby," you kissed down his abs. "Here?"
"Lower"
You smiled against his skin, happy trail hairs tickling your nose.  "Maybe we should just put something cold on it."
Reaching behind him, you stuck your hand in the Cannoli filling and whacked a handful onto his pecs. He stood still trying not to react but his lips were twitching while holding in his smile.
Turning his attention to the fettuccine he stirred it before pulling up a pasta fork full of noodles and blowing on it. "Do you know how to tell when pastas done?"
"You bite it?" you said hopefully.
He held it up to you to sample but instead threw it towards your chest.
"Nope it sticks!" He laughed maniacally as the noodle slowly inched down your breast. " And it looks like it's ready."
You grasped a handful salad but he caught your hand and pulled you towards him.
"Surrender!"
"NEVER!" you shouted.
He smiled, he was so happy and beautiful. Pulling your hand down and behind your back he held it tight and pressed the softest sweetest kiss onto your lips.
"Do you give up yet?"
Your heart was pounding through your chest. You'd never had to say it before….
"Yes," You dropped the lettuce and kissed him hard. "Mercy"
Maybe he didn't know the weight of the word but you certainly did. With one fell swoop his arm pushed everything off the kitchen island with a huge clatter. "Can we stop playing now?"
You couldn't even recall the last time someone was capable of making you blush but you were sure you were crimson.
"Jin I think we ruined lunch."
"We’ll get takeout.”
He lifted you to sit on the edge of the counter as he occupied the space between your legs.
"Can we do that kissing thing now?"
He delicately placed kisses down your neck and shoulders. Your nipples pebbled under the light touch of his fingertips and a small moan escaped you. Pulling back to look at you, his lips were slightly parted and his breathing was heavy.
His attention made you flustered. "Please Jin, I haven't had you in so long I can't wait anymore." Pulling up your legs you lay on the island, his for the taking.
He climbed on the counter and laid over you. "Is boring going to be enough for you?"
"If anyone can tame me it's gonna be you."
His lips met yours and they rarely left each other as he made love to you. His hand cradled your head from the hard counter while the other stroked your cheek. He was careful and reverent, worshipping your body instead of just using it. More than sexual, he was bringing you to another level, a completely different experience and connection.
Your legs wrapped around him, wanting him closer. He moved his hips slowly stroking your walls, the inner friction building and building your orgasm.
"Jin I'm gonna cum."
He nodded, you'd never seen him like this, so undone, so surrendered to a moment.
Arching your back off the counter he wrapped his arm around you lifting you closer to his chest as his thrusts became sloppier.
He just wanted to please you, and he did. It was white lightning and heart palpitations on top of pulsing wet satisfaction. Collapsing side by side you snuggled in close.
"Jin?"
"Yes love?"
"Can we do this everyday?"
"Do I need to be naked? Grease splatters really hurt."

Coffee Shop Boy
Tumblr media
Chapter Four
~
Today started a little differently for Sorawit than his Monday and Tuesday had.
It began when he spotted none other than his brother Bun down stairs preparing the coffee shop. This was rare in two senses one being Bun almost always worked the early morning shifts at the hospital so Sorawit almost never saw him in the morning, and the second being the rare occasion he had the day or morning off he definitely wouldn't be spending it doing this.
"P'Bun?" Sorawit called out, the confusion in his voice very evident.
"Ah Sorawit you're awake, if you want you can go back to sleep i can take over for today." Bun said stopping what he was doing to smile at Sorawit.
This was weird. Definitely weird. Bun was broken.
"P'Bun are you sure? Did something happen at work?" Sorawit questioned cautiously.
Of course it wasn't bad that Bun was home during the mornings, quite the contrary this was good for him between working at the coffee shop and the hospital he almost never had a break. The worrying thing is that Bun loves doing what he does so he'd never be home willingly.
"Umm, everything's fine just thought I could do with a bit of a break" Bun hummed brushing off Sorawit's questions.
Sorawit wasn't buying it. Not one bit.
Could most things get past him. Yes. But definitely not this.
In the end Sorawit decided not to push any further and rather than returning to his bedroom he opted to instead help Bun set up, after all there was still a small chance That would show.
Speaking of That Sorawit pondered briefly about the text that he had sent him last night.
You see it was only when he woke up this morning that he had seen not only That's message but also the message he sent.
Sorawit: Night That sleep well 😴 💓.
'Why did he send him a heart???'
Sorawit screamed internally as he forced himself to stay focused on wiping down the surfaces.
This wasn't a big deal, nor was it weird.
So, Sorawit had no idea why he was freaking out over something so small. He had sent hearts to practically everyone, like Bun and Nam so why was That any different.
Sorawit tried to reason with himself but in his heart he still felt very unsettled.
How was That any different?
~
Being so absorbed in his thoughts, yes his thoughts, 4:30 had finally rolled around. And to Sorawit's disappointment? there was no sight of That.
The table by the door was left usually empty.
"Are you waiting for someone?" Bun asked teasingly as he poked Sorawit on the cheek.
"No." Sorawit replied quickly.
Why was he expecting him to turn up in the first place. That had said yesterday he most likely won't make it.
"You were staring at the door so intensely, so it looked like you were" Bun continued only to be met with no responsed.
Sorawit pouted.
That was strange. 100% strange. Why is it that he managed to make Sorawit feel so... weird.
*Chime*
Sorawit head whipped around to the door, his heart pounding. That made it. Sorawit forced himself to breathe as the door opened further.
"YOU!" Bun yelled out pointing towards the men in the door way.
And so it was like that Sorawit's hopes had vanished, none of the men standing in the door way was That.
They were all well dressed men. That in itself was very apparent, Sorawit had no idea what brands they were wearing he just knew they had to be expensive.
"P'Bun" Sorawit called completely baffled, how did his brother know these people. Sorawit was pretty sure he knew all of Bun's friends, it wasn't hard he didn't have very many as he rarely focused on anything other than work.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Bun questioned glaring intensely at the trio in the door way.
The man in the middle and objectively the most handsome made his way to the centre of the coffee shop smiling playful as the men that came with him remained by the door.
"Well you're open right?" The man replied raising his eyebrow teasingly at Bun.
Now Sorawit was completely and utterly confused. His eyes flickered between the two before it finally clicked, or he had atleast made a reasonable guess.
Judging by his brother's hostile nature this was the man that had picked a fight with him on Monday.
"Not for you!" Bun huffed making his way over to him.
"Why?" The unknown man briefly paused before continuing, his eyes gleamed with something Sorawit couldn't really identify.
"Aw Bun~ are you still mad about your suspension, remember it's only temporary" The well dressed man smiled.
Sorawit could practically feel the ridicule in his tone, he quickly glanced at Bun. The tips of his ears were red and his body had completely stiffened.
"You got suspended?" Sorawit questioned.
None of this made sense. There was no way in hell that Bun would ever be suspended.
"Get out!" Bun yelled glaring at the man infront of him before shooting Sorawit an apologetic look.
"This is a really nice place you've got here, you know what I think we might stay for a coffee right M" The man completely ignored Bun's outburst making his way over to a table and sitting down.
"If you keep on teasing him a vain might pop." The man known as M spoke as him and the other man sat down.
"Sorawit you should head up stairs and study I'll handle this shift today" Bun sighed as the man seemed to pay no attention to his words.
"P'Bun, you sure" Sorawit asked raising his eyebrow questioningly in the direction of the men sat in the corner.
"Umm, go" Bun replied picking up the note pad used to take orders with.
"You better explain later" Sorawit warned playfully.
Bun nodded with a light smile before making his way over to the table to take their orders.
Sorawit didn't really want to leave Bun alone with men like that but Bun didn't leave any room for argument.
And maybe a small part of Sorawit couldn't wait to text That. Like a really small part.
As he was heading up the stairs he heard Bun yell.
"Tan don't push your luck"
Tan... Wasnt that the man Ploy was talking about before. Sorawit paused before reluctantly continuing up the stairs, he knew for a fact that his brother could hold his own but he'd have to remind Bun to stay away from this Tan guy. He seemed like bad news.
~
Pouncing on his bed Sorawit grabbed his phone smiling brightly as he opened his contacts.
His fingers lingered on the call button.
'Would he even answer, maybe I should just text him' Sorawit thought as he rolled over onto his back staring blankly at his phone.
Ring~Ring~Ring~
The loud noise of his phone startle Sorawit to the point that his phone had dropped flat onto his face. Sitting up and grabbing his phone Sorawit stared at the caller ID looking completely surprised.
That had called him, That had called him first.
Sorawit answered the phone without hesitation.
"Sorawit" That called, his voice echoing from the phone.
Sorawit flushed, That had never really called his name before, even if he had this time felt different.
"Yeah." Sorawit responded softly.
"I didn't think you'd answer" That said just as softly.
'This feels strange'
"Well my brother is at home today, so I didn't have to help" Sorawit replied.
"You have a brother?" That questioned.
"Umm i do, he's older" Sorawit said.
For some reason this whole conversation made Sorawit feel queezy. Maybe it was because That's voice was a lot softer than usual, whatever it was it was definitelythrowing him off.
That rarely talked so softly to him.
"You couldn't come today?" Sorawit asked.
"Umm i worked late yesterday and I had something to do this morning." That said before yelling out to someone in the background.
"Tell Por that I'm not doing it I don't take orders from him, he can asked Pued if he's so desperate"
"That?"
It was moments like this that reminded him how long he'd exactly known That, since they spoke to each other so comfortably it made him feel as if he had known him forever. But in reality he had only known him for two day, so of course they were still getting to know each other. It was just that Sorawit hated not knowing these little things.
"Sorry" That said letting out a sigh.
"Are you busy you seem busy, we can talk later if you want." Sorawit asked.
"It's fine just tired... honestly I'm slightly surprised that you haven't bombarded me with questions yet" That teased with a light laugh.
"What's the point you never answer them" Sorawit spoke his tone completely sour.
"I answer at least one of your questions, so what's today's one" That said.
"Where do you work but you have to also include what you do as well, I won't let you rip me off with these hardly detailed answers" Sorawit responded, the corner of his lips pulling into a soft smile.
Sorawit likes That a lot. Apart from Nam he hadn't made very many close friends since moving here, so That was a very nice addition. (Friend, I mean okay Sorawit😂)
"Haha, I work as a security guard at The Mist" That laughed keeping his response short even despite what Sorawit had said.
Sorawit huffed before mumbling into the phone upset.
"And, I said no short answers"
"And... I've worked there since I moved here umm" That paused struggling to find anything else to say.
Just as That was about to continue a voice in the background cut him off.
"That Por said he wants to see you now. In his office"
That sighed before speaking to Sorawit, the annoyance was clear in his voice.
"I'll call later"
And just like that before Sorawit could even complain That had hung up.
'What was he going to say' Sorawit pondered.
Sorawit glanced at the time on his phone before getting up and making his way over to his desk.
He let out a huff before pulling out his text books. He couldn't help but think every time he got close That would pull away intentionally or unintentionally.
Glancing away from his books he quickly sent That a text.
Sorawit: Are you free this afternoon. Let's hang out 😊
~
Did I take my sweet time yes, yes I did but don't worry, actually do worry as since I've now officially started school again these updates might be a bit slower but I shall try to procrastinate less. No promises ☺
But any how we love Bun and Tan going from enemies to lovers as well as both Bun and Sorawit falling for shady men and being kinda of oblivious about it. 😂
