He lets Ian hold him afterwards, relishing in the feel of his fingers tracing shapes on his skin, the touch so gentle it makes his belly flutter.

Then he hears them, the footsteps in the corridor and it’s enough for him to quickly wiggle out of Ian’s arms, barely pulling on his clothes as the little sister rushes inside.

She doesn’t even spare him a glance, blissfully unaware of the things he’s feeling, stomach turning at the thought of being seen like this, still.

The familiar feeling that he’s going to die if he doesn’t get out of here soon.
