Don’t think about how Madoka can’t know all of Homura AND stay with her, ever, because knowing all of her means remembering she’s a god which means that she immediately ascends out of existence like what happens at the end of Rebellion. And especially don’t think about how Homura is setting herself up as a villain and trying to distance herself from everyone, becoming even more terrifying and inscrutable in the process.

The fact that Madoka spends the entire series kinda put off by Homura because of her demeanor and weird contradictory signals, and only (in Madoka's own words) "understands the real her" and the absolute hell Homura went through for her sake after she ascends to godhood and is no longer able to interact with Homura
