the thing about a large majority of MOTHER fans is that they cant take any sort of criticism against the games which is just a really toxic behaviour in general?? the games are far from perfect, in fact I criticized the character depth a few days back and had people send me indirect death threats and also had another person tell me I’m “not a real fan” even though I’ve been a fan for about 14 years now which is more than long enough to be able to form an opinion about the character depth and everything else regarding things that could have been better in the games

anyways yeah the fandom was super fun in the summer and pretty much the entire time before now but?? now that the fandom has been acting absolutely ridiculously I’ve opened my eyes to how many flaws the game actually has and the fandom’s lack of acceptance of critique is totally unjustified and yeah this is another case of “the fandom ruined it for me” smh
