theres more but i dont know where they are there were like physical drawings as well and the pens and textures i used bled everywhere

i legit really like the beginning, maybe if i actually somehow get my slow brain through all the troll stuff i’ll like it more

ofc! Recently I can’t even remember but it was this past month or something, I was too tired to do social media, it’s totally fine!

I’m gonna be honest, I would really like to know some of your ocs stuff, writings or drawings whatever, because they sound quite interesting :00

what I mean by specifically having OC romance is mostly like, this person has an ex so I gotta include that; or it’s like one of those ideas I have that is specifically supposed to be a romance lol. I always worry about not having good characters and such because I think that duh obviously that’s like one of the most important parts, but yeah I do try to put characters first. But otherwise what I usually do to include romance is take a step back and look at my characters from a fan perspective and see who I would ship lol. This has actually led to one of my oc ships being incredibly sad though so idk if it works.

For tropes: I will just say it now, I DISLIKE the hanahaki trope. maybe I’ve just seen the wrong ones, they’re just all angst to me. Though I’m not really a big fan of angst anyways I guess. Only when it’s accompanied by music. The soulmates trope: I would always see such creative soulmate reveal things. Some of them are.. cheesier, but I’ve accepted that cheesy can be good. I’ve always seen soulmate AUs more of like, these people would have the best life together rather than with someone else. But simply put, if something’s badly written, seldom will you enjoy it. I completely get the “destined with no evidence” thing.

on another note, if you like “breaking out of destiny” stories, I actually (ironically) recommend homestuck to you! That’s what the story boils down to in the end, though it’s sorta easy to miss because it’s, well, homestuck. “yada yada four kids play a game that ends the world bluh bluh” synopsis this synopsis that, but the real big broken down moral-theme-thingy you get from homestuck is breaking free from fate. MEANWHILE the dreamsmp’s moral-theme-thingy is that everyone from their own perspective is the hero! I will shut up about this now.

back to tropes: my favorite soulmates trope (platonic and romantic) is more like the subversive kind where you just can kinda tell? Like maybe it wasn’t supposed to be there in the writing, but it is. And it’s even funnier when the characters just don’t realize it. This mostly happens with like character names or the red/blue trope. Here we go. Back to square one. You got the character named Red and the character named Blue and they never leave each others side (except that one time)… and you expect me to think they AREN’T soulmates??? I’ve seen a post talking about it before, like, “your name is Gold and you meet someone named Silver. How do you NOT realize you’re soulmates?” And just, it doesn’t even have to be platonic or romantic, like in universe, you guys are just bound to keep in touch. Why else would the creator name you guys Gold and Silver?? and soulmates tropes where it’s more like a compliment for how well a relationship is going, or like you look at these people and it’s just like it was meant to be are so sweet (my best example for this is skephalo, skephalo in a platonic form just to be perfectly clear lol. I’m talking about the CCs we not about to be weird here).

MY FAVORITE SHIP TROPE THO is friends to lovers and it may be basic!!! but it is DEFINITELY my favorite by a long shot i love it so much. I love pretty much all the different kinds, but my favorites will have to be: childhood friends to lovers, best friends to enemies/rivals to lovers (namelessshipping again sigh. i bet you wouldn’t be able to guess by this post that my favorite ship of all time is preciousmetalshipping. second favorite is johndavekat which is like a combination of reguri and preciousmetalshipping in a way…), just bromances (no gender) in general. Most of my ships are the main character and their best friend *CRACKS PENCIL* AND I NEVER SEE IT COME TRUE :head in hands:.

and for undertale: ooohhh yeah that makes sense.

I just wanna say, it is always interesting to me to see/hear (idk) other people’s views on things from various sides of the internet spectrum. Instead of hearing the same thing all the time. It is very nice!

It's weird to me people would count both game reguri and manga reguri as the same ship but not palletshipping. I would argue game and manga reguri are as different from each other as either are to palletshipping because the characters' personalities and backstories are totally different. Hell, manga reguri doesn't even have the childhood friends plot point shared between game reguri and palletshipping, so the dynamic's completely different. I feel like they're all different ships but counterparts to each other.

Btw anon I agree with you completely! Like I said in the og post, I thought palletshipping would fall under reguri since it’s another counterpart of the ship. Originalshipping and namelessshipping ARE just as different as they are from palletshipping, you’re right!

alas, what i am trying to figure out is if a majority of people classify palletshipping as reguri or not…

HS Extended Zodiac test

So Blaperile and I only just found out about the Extended Zodiac thingy. Hahah, whoops!

Guess it fits into the "Troll Call" thing We Love Fine had going a while ago.

Wow, that lists of new zodiac symbols looks great! I like how they went for a theme with each caste's symbol.

I was confused not seeing Dammek's symbol in the list on the MSPA site, but it's explained by there being more than those - 288 in total, 24 for each caste. I like how the limeblood's now officially have a symbol colour, too! Even though in the time of Hiveswap they're supposedly extinct already.

The teal signs are like hieroglyphs. The violet signs are like electric current symbols, heheh. And sure enough, there are the jade signs we saw in Homestuck as Roxy was appearifying the Matriorb.

I like how the system What Pumpkin came up with, accomodates for the Sburb kingdoms and even aspects!

I understand Andrew wouldn't want to have the Classes in there just yet - he might not be sure what number of canon Classes to limit the system too. Then again, he's limiting the number of Aspects anyway...

... Wow. I would like to see myself as a "Mind" kind of person, but the test pegs me as a Hope player, actually. ... Welp. I always thought Eridan was interesting and even in a way relatable in a lot of ways, but yeah, not too many of 'em good?

Well, reading more about the Hope-aspect, I guess how I can see how I'm "Hope-bound", it's just that... I'm often times not that optimistic. Then again, neither were Jake, Eridan, and Cronus all the time.

Anyway, after doing the test, I'm determined to have the Virrius sign. Can I just say, having each sign have it's own unique name? Stroke of genius, What Pumpkin.

Ooooh, yeah, that means that Eridan's sign, Aquarius, comes from the combination Aqua* and *rius, hah!

Okay, I'm quite sure I'm going to be thinking about it some more, perhaps taking the test again? Maybe not, I like the design. Plus, the term "Sign of the Vindicated"? Pretty badass. And Virrius looks a bit like 'Virus', and I must say I've always been a fan of Sollux fan.

Blaperile had a good idea, to read up on the description of Limebloods. I wonder whether it holds the average between Karkat, Kankri and Calliope? Oh yes, that's pretty much spot on, for all of them. AND The Sufferer. Wait. Hold on. It also works for Caliborn, seeing as he has 'mutant' red blood too. Yeah, he has a large group of 'friends' in the Felt, he's resolute, and in hate he falls hard... in his own way.
