my kids have been like lil teenagers curled up in corners of the house, hibernating 🐻+ not really wanting to release any energy physically apart from our daily dance session I’ve told you about these last couple of weeks... . . That’s all changed this week 🦋. They’ve been fluttering about doing Yoga 🧘‍♀️ with #cosmickidsyoga mid day (a nice 20 minute session to get the body flowing). Followed by a 30 minute #mousekercise video on YouTube (inspired by my husband’s childhood days). . . They’ve also been coming up with some big juicy questions at bedtime about all sorts of topics. Last Saturday night it was about same sex relationships and human sexuality. We were up til around 12 pm talking about it and I’m so glad that homeschooling has really opened me up to take advantage of any time, opportunity or state we’re in sitting on the couch or sprawled over a table coloring something - to be open and comfortable talking about things. . . As much as homeschooling parents we fret over important things like reading and math - my heart was gush over and so happy my kids feel comfy enough to ask me about anything right now.
