We were told about this abandoned church in NM from a friend. From what we were told and some research on what limited info exists, the town seemed to be a stopping post for the old west outlaws including Billy the Kid. Who was later killed by the town's sheriff. It's also said that there used to be illegal gambling in the church and a snake pit in the basement!
