Sometimes our puplic spaces are transformed into uncomfortable places where you can not sit, rest, lie down. By adding bolts, spikes, sticks they become the private space of nobody, a space of hate and emptyness.

They call it hostile design, but maybe a better name would be anti-human design.

Here in Berlin people stuff the seats of the bus stops with fabric and fluffy materials to make them comfortable to sleep on. Is a silent battle to bring back our city, to bring it back to all the citizens. A creative answer to the fear of the unknown, of the difference, of the other.

I would call it human design 💛
