Trabaja Comapa en rehabilitación del subcolector Zeus en el poniente de la Ciudad

NUEVO LAREDO, TAM.- La Comisión Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado (COMAPA) de Nuevo Laredo, trabaja actualmente en la rehabilitación y reposición de 37 metros lineales correspondientes al sistema de drenaje en el subcolector Zeus. Debido a la presencia de problemas de flujo en este sistema, se presentaban brotes de aguas desembocando principalmente en el cruce de las calles Euro y Tersito en en fraccionamiento El Progreso por lo que el pasado mes de enero, se iniciaron labores de limpieza, desazolve y reparación de los pozos de visita que forman parte de este subcolector, así como la realización de sondeos en los tramos más obstruidos para iniciar labores de rehabilitación. Actualmente, se lleva un avance del 50 por ciento, encontrando obstáculos en diferentes tramos principalmente hundimientos que mostraban el gran desgaste que presentaba la infraestructura por lo que será necesario la rehabilitación de 37 metros lineales, instalando tubería de PVC de 16 pulgadas de diámetro llevando hasta el momento instalados 18 metros. Conforme se avance en el tramo restante se continuará la reparación de hundimientos, desazolves, sondeos y demás maniobras que sean necesarias que brinden una solución definitiva a los usuarios del sector. LG and many other companies are racing to automate more of the home and you should be interested in some of the ways these tasks can save stress, time and money. 

Essentially any item in your house that connects to electricity can be automated in one way or another. Forget to turn off the coffee maker? Want to turn on the heat before you get home on a cold day? Did you press run on the dish washer before leaving the house? All of this can be checked and adjusted through a smart phone app miles away from the home. Virtually everything in the home can be automated, and the amount of automation in the average home in steadily increasing. Statista estimates the market size for smart home automation to be 35.9 billion dollars in 2019, and it will continue to grow steadily for the foreseeable future reaching upwards of 53.45 billion in 2022. Most people attribute the successes of smart home technology to the increase of people’s dependability on smartphones and the Internet of Things. So how does this system of automation work. How is my smart phone supposed to be able to talk to my coffee maker? Simply put, the answer is radio waves. Smart Home technology actually pre-dates wifi. This was very complicated and could only work for very simple tasks like turning on a light. Nowadays with the availability of WIFI and Bluetooth, companies like Z-Wave and ZigBee can use a multitude of ways to communicate with products throughout the house. This process usually involves a primary receiver which takes a signal from a phone then decides the most efficient way to communicate with the chosen product to deliver the message. The emergence of bluetooth and WIFI technology, of course, is another reason Smart Home technology has been able to advance so far in the recent past. Where a system like the X10 would make it hard for certain items to automate, WIFI can talk to a device no matter the placement in the house. 

Some of the more obvious examples of what a smart home can do might seem a little boring at first glance. Of course we have all seen lights that can change colour form a command on your phone. Turning on a security system is a thing of the past. Tuning into a camera in your baby’s room has been available for years. However, there are so many applications of smart home technology that are just being fin tuned for common use and there is really no ceiling in sight for what can be accomplished. Imagine lights being illuminated, guiding you towards the bathroom in the middle of the night. You get out of bed, your bedroom door unlocks seconds before you reach it. The hallway lights turn on and you walk into the bathroom. On your way back, you are tired and forget to turn the lights off. Motion sensors detect you have left and save your electricity bill by shutting off. Your bedroom door locks behind you, and you go back to bed. Scenarios like this have already become commonplace for many people wiling to spend the dough for these kind of amenities. People who have installed a network like this also may have trash cans that collect information on waste. They might have a refrigerator that orders milk when it expires or they run out. They might receive text alerts when their load of laundry has finished. Many benefits of this technology also go beyond convenience. Smart homes can detect what appliances are using too much power, and limit consumption. The Amazon Nest can optimise the thermostat for minimal heating costs. In fact, people with a Nest have reported a 30% decrease in heating costs in similar sized houses. A house will unlock all doors and illuminate a safe escape in the event of a fire. The point is, I could write about applications of this technology all day. The only thing that is safe to say is that in the near future, all of our homes will be smart homes.
