oh my stars bethany's bedroom is soooo beautiful :o i'm struggling not to wcif absolutely everything in it but i'll restrain myself to: wcif the bed (and the cushions tucked at the side of it if they're separate) and the gabled roof? i'm assuming the sloped roof bits are an object?

Hello @holydragonsuit - I’m afraid it isn’t available for download as of yet. 

The bar is the cornerstone of the Union Court building (seen here) which is a very complex mixed-used building containing the two-storey bar, a book shop, barber shop, toy shop, doctor’s office, photography studio, accountancy office, a few townhouses and some lower income housing. The upper floor of the bar isn’t even decorated yet. 😅 I also have plans to make CC sets for several of these businesses so public release is a ways away yet.

As a consolation prize, I will try to put together a cc list for the bar build for you sometime this week. <3

De Rotterdamsche Oude. It’s a typical Dutch cheese, with an exceptionally good taste.

Cheese shop cheese. Technically the brand I just mentioned is a type of “cheese shop cheese��� because you can only find it in a cheese shop (and not in supermarkets), but I thought it deserved its own mention haha. Anyway, cheese sold in cheese shops is generally a lot better than what’s sold in (Dutch) supermarkets. The shops sell a lot of different cheeses, but I don’t know all their names!

Goat’s cheese. Again, I don’t know a brand name. I love goat’s cheese, just as long as I don’t eat a lot of it for a long time.

Old Amsterdam. Kind of the best cheese you can find in a Dutch supermarket -- but absolutely not as good as the cheese you find in cheese shops.

Port salut. I’m not a big fan of French cheese because a lot of them are mouldy (which is kind of disgusting to me, ahah). But I really like port salut from time to time!

A little disclaimer here: I haven’t read a lot of English classical literature. In fact, I barely read any at all because I was focused on Dutch literature instead! Considering this is rather a broad question, I’ll assume Dutch classical literature is okay too ;)

Mina and Lucy from Dracula. The only relationship in English classical literature that I’ll mention, haha. I absolutely love them! I know women in the Victorian era could be a lot more close without being frowned upon than now, but honestly I really ship them. There are some really sweet scenes in which Mina describes Lucy, too, which rather sets the tone for some later plot points.

Eva Eldersma and Frans van Helderen from De Stille Kracht. (A Dutch book, sorry!) I really love their relationship. It feels very original, and the two characters are very much equal in this romantic attraction that never quite becomes an affair -- which is rather special for a book published in 1900.

Katadreuffe and Dreverhaven from Karakter. (Dutch.) One of my favourite relationships from one of my favourite books -- this time the complicated relationship between a son and his father. There’s a constant push and pull between them, with the father clearly being in the wrong, and it’s just great to watch. Well, read.

I think I’ll leave it at this because it feels kind of pointless to list a lot of books that practically no one on here knows, lol. But thank you for the question! I think it was very original and I really appreciate it :) it was fun to answer!

Hm, I’ll see what I can do- apparently it involves tuning and is a little more complicated than I first thought. I can’t make any promises though, I just haven’t really felt like messing with CC lately. That does sound like it would be useful though!

I reblog what I want. If it’s a social justice issue that relates to the sims (e.g. supporting simblrs of colour, discussing inclusivity/diversion for the game) then I will but for general SJ stuff I don’t.

tbh I’m kind of burned out on SJ things on tumblr and I don’t like the way the social justice circles on tumblr handle certain issues, so I’m really avoiding it on here.
