As a long time fan who’s seen this film with family who weren’t really interested nor fans of this franchise, I can confirm that the TFHypeGuy’s hype is nothing to disregard. This is a modern film that should be the standard of how to tackle making well… a modern film.
So worth the watch, go to the cinemas while you still can and see for yourself. I’ve heard people say that the beginning is slow pace and does have a bit of exposition dumping but it does pick up further you watch it. The action is good, the visuals beautiful, some of the comedy does slap actually. But the emotional bits… oh god yes the emotional aspects of this film are treated with phenomenal respect and trust me… there are moments you will be awed and shocked in the greatest way possible.
I encourage everyone, fans old and new, or any casual movie watcher who’s bored out of their mind with time to kill and money to spend, go see this film in cinemas right now!
Since the studio’s marketing refused to give this film the respect it deserves, it is up to us fans to show the world there is more to this film than meets the eye.

Arcane is one of the best animated show I watched, that's it, I said it
#s1 already blown my mind#but the second season? the creators went even further - I am more than amazed#the animation was stunning ALL THE TIME and I don't even talk about all the different styles they put into it#the directing was amazing and gave us scenes that can rival cinema masterpieces#the choice of music was perfect (Isha song still hunt me)#and the characters were so touching & reliable with their struggles - I love everyone of them even the worse#Viktor <3 you touched me heart ;o;#Vi & Mel I'm so gay for you#Jinx & Isha in a parallele world I'm your mom and I'll give you all the love you need#Ekko you're the kindest and coolest soul ever stay as you are#Heimerdinger please be my cutie uncle - AND HOLY SHIT YOU CAN SING#and so on#GONNA MISS THEM SO MUCH#my only *complain* is that it feels rushed a bit since there isn't a lot of episodes#but even with that short time it was still great so bravo to them#arcane#personal

See, now this is an example of a terrible movie that, no matter how fun it may be to watch and make fun of, should not be seen under any circumstances.
You want to give your money to trash like Madame Web or the terrible live action Disney remakes then go for it, sure they may make money and that may result in them making more trash, but who cares? They're not actually harming anyone they're just bad.
Movies like Emilia Perez on the other hand are harming a very marginalised group who are already fighting tooth and nail to even be allowed to exist, they don't need this type of media making their fight any harder.

#spent 5h reading ppls tarot it was so nice and chill i could take my time since iwas paid by the event…#A lot of ppl came by of every age i had like a young boy of 12 who wss really sweet to a 65 yo auntie who was worried about her health#and i had a lot of really serious and important readings that u could tell ppl really needed to hear….. almost evrry person told me at the#end how spot on it was and how good and relieved they were to hear certain things….#also in tje end me and the other readers went to get a drink and i was just following the flow of the crowd but evidently#they were out With A Plan bc we ended up moving to a seoncdary location with some ppl who i thought were just some bar owners#but ended up being the organizers of the entire event skxkskdkddk who also organize snother really big event in this city#And have contacts in like the cinema and tv world even abroad and know everyone in town here etcetc#and i fully didn’t realize who they were but one of them askd me for a reading and i was like bet (it was 1am and wed been reading out in#the cold since 6:30pm) and apparently i was soo good that everyone at that table was impressed and they called the big boss over#and he wanted a reading too even though hed been sceptic. and he grew slowly impressed by it and was really nice to me the whole time but#esp by the end like i could tell hed grown imoressed by me. and also both the organizer dudes i read for were SO hot like holy shit. daddyy#anyway im tipsy on nice wine other people paid for me but what i was trying to say is.
