“Holva,” he told her. “Your name is Holva Narosh’Aron, daughter of Clan Narosh, descendant of Aron. Regardless of how and where you were born, you have Taberan blood in your veins.” He pulled her little hands to his lips and breathed a kiss on her knuckles. “I’m Gato, but… I’d be honored if you called me ‘father’ or ‘dad’ or something along those lines.” He let out a shuddering sigh.

“I’m sorry for not being here for you sooner. Though something tells me they wouldn’t have let me see you. Top secret military projects and all.” Gato slowly stood, placing a hand of his daughter’s shoulders.

“This is mighty awkward,” he admitted. “I think this is how my father felt when he first held my sister. You are… everything I’ve ever dreamed of.” He gently ran a fingertip over her jawline. “I have fallen in love so many times but never so fast as now. I’m a little scared… but so happy that we’ve met. That you exist.”

OCtober day 22: Holva Zedfesh

Holva was originally just a character from Kallava’s past; Zedfesh Ciholhzoh (yes her horse-name is just a keyboard smash, but that’s where her surname comes from), a show jumping horse on early retirement due to her bad legs. Then I started liking her so much that I was planning on making her an actual rp character. But that never happened, so now she belongs to the human!au, like everyone else.

She’s really competive and hates loosing. That’s why she has kinda love/hate relationship with Tamira, who is her sometimes enemy but also sort of a girlfriend, and almost everything is a competition to them. They probably fight a lot. Doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. Holva is Kallava’s best friend and a neighbour or maybe even sort of a friend of Bastian. She’s really organized and likes to keep her own life in order, but also the lives of her friends if they just let her.
